mom wants to defend my sister for stealing from me and wants to send me to military school this happened when I was 14 it was roughly a year give or take before my parents divorced my younger sister was always spending her allowance like it was water especially on makeup Mall food video games and clothes from Hot Topic while I had an allowance too my dad had me earn it more by cleaning house and doing yard work because my sister never lifted a finger unless dad was there to supervise her and my mother never made her

do any chores either unless it was to clean her room to get some extra cash I mowed lawns picked up disc Ed cans around the neighborhoods to cash in for the 5-cent deposit and did some other odd jobs around the neighborhood at the time I was saving to buy a scooter to get around town on over the course of two years doing odd jobs and hoarding most of my allowance I managed to save about $2,000 but getting that money built up was not easy mainly because of my sister she knew all the little hiding places

still got her next allowance anyway only it was my mom who gave it to her instead of my my dad that time a few days later on my dad's day off from work we went to a local store and he bought me a combination safe to keep my money and other small valuables in we didn't tell either my mother or sister I had it it was set for a four-digit code if I remember the code I used back then was 4,962 I put all of my money into the safe and locked it then put it

rescue but I just repeated that sis couldn't get at my money anymore and went back to my room to clean it up while my sister kept screaming in her room for like the next 20 minutes nothing was really missing or broken just thrown and scattered around I picked everything up and put it back the way it was admittedly it was the smuggest I'd ever felt cleaning my room but the next day I found it tore up again and this time my window was broken as well sis had hurled the safe out the window because she

couldn't get it open I called my father right away and when both my parents got home from work my sister fully admitted to having done it like she was proud of herself my mother actually tried to side with her by saying I shouldn't have gotten the safe in the first place but my dad chewed her out and said he got it for me because he was sick and tired of my sister stealing from me every time she stole money from me and spent it my dad had to reimburse me since my mom never would we

had to have the whole window from my room replaced and my dad got me a lock for my door and even a combination key lock box that contained the key to my room next to the door my sister ended up grounded for a month for breaking my window and she spent that whole time time just sulking in her room whenever dad was home mom always let her go back to doing what she wanted like playing video games or watching TV and stuff till my dad got off work I didn't bother to say anything because I

knew if I did both my sister and my mom would have gone out of their way to make me more miserable after her month-long grounding was over my sister resorted to begging me for money every time she spent all of her allowance but I just called her out that she'd never pay it back because she never saves anything and just to be funny I drew up an IOU to see if she'd actually sign it in front of dad later she tore the paper in half and went crying to Mom again about how I was being

mean to her her and Mom would try to make me cough up the money for her but I just reminded her what Dad would do so if my sister wanted any more cash it wasn't going to come from me after this my mom actually tried to get me sent to military school but Dad didn't let her also for those wondering why my dad just didn't help me get a savings account back then I really don't know I guess saving it in cash was just how we did things update one the time I got my mother

better than being just like you like sis is because you never do anything good mom what was that you little [ __ ] start storming up the stairs just as I got into my bedroom door and locked it now my mom had a habit of throwing open my bedroom door to yell at me back then she did one sweeping motion of opening the door while lunging her body forward and at this time I'd only had the lock on my door for a little while so she wasn't used to it yet I locked the dead bolt

and she tried to throw open my door and slammed right into it with a pretty loud thud and then I heard her fall onto the floor and start making noises of crying in pain she'd slammed her body and face against the door pretty hard it was an old-fashioned style door made of solid wood and it gave her a fat lip and a bump on the forehead I opened the door and she was sprawled out and pounding her fists on the floor mom you did this to me you little [ __ ] me you did it

to yourself mom you are grounded get out of my sight after that I called Dad and he just groaned over the phone about the whole situation he said I wasn't grounded but I was still in big trouble for goating her and to just let him deal with her when he got home I ended up getting a stern lecture from Dad along with added chores and a reduction to my allowance that month but that was about it after that day every time sis asked me for money I asked her to sign an IOU she really didn't

like that update to my mother tried to have me sent to military school and forged my dad's signature blows up in her face after the last time I stood up to my mother when she threatened to spank me link she seemed to get more wary that if she did try to attack me it had end very badly for her so she mostly just yelled at me she didn't lay a finger on me again until the events of wanting my house years later I thought nothing of it and just continued with my usual routine of school

and odd jobs my 15th birthday was right around the corner and my dad presented me with an engine kit for my bike to help me get around town in he said I was better off saving for a car than a scooter and this would do in the meantime I ended up agreeing with his logic and kept saving for a car a few days later though I found a pamphlet for a military school while sweeping grass off the back patio after mowing the lawn it was on the ground and under a chair near where my Mom

liked to sit and drink wine I had a bad feeling she was cooking up some kind of crazy scheme so I waited till my dad got home to show him what I'd found he was pretty mad but didn't jump to conclusions so he went to see my mom with a pamphlet and asked her about it Dad honey what's this mom goes white at the side of the pamphlet it's nothing I've never seen it before Dad really because says if you were planning on trying to send kagle to military school you know I wouldn't allow it

that's when mom broke her facade and yelled he needs to learn some discipline he locks his door all the time and I can't even spank him anymore because he's too big this is the only way I have left to punish him for being a disobedient brat dad kagle did nothing wrong when he stood up to you because of your stupid favoritism if anything our daughter is the BRAT because of you and the way you spoil her and let her get away with stealing from her brother and as far as I'm concerned this discussion about sending

kagle to military school is over and if you try to send him then so help me I'll bring the hammer down on you any way I can Mom well I guess this whole family is just going to take away what little power I have left in this house then if I have nothing I may as well be nothing dad you and I both know you'd rather Keel over than be nothing stop being so dramatic that kagle is growing up and is his own man now with his own money mom then just stormed out of the

room the next morning before school I saw her furiously trying to stuff something into the kitchen trash bin I waited for her to leave for work and dug out what she was trying to hide it was an application for the military school filled out entirely in her handwriting it it required the signature of both parents or legal Guardians on it and there were two signatures on the paper I recognized mom's but the other looked like a pitiful attempt at trying to replicate dads he prided himself on his smooth and complex signature and there's no way

my mom could copy it without it looking like fraud I guess she realized that after she was confronted and gave up on trying to send me away I kept the papers and showed them to my dad later he was mad but figured she'd done that already and Let It Go but he filed the papers in his office just in case a few more months later it got out that my mother was having an affair with an old EXP boyfriend of hers from high school that was the last straw for my dad and he filed for

divorce and I went to live with him months later after he bought another house he sped up the divorce pretty quickly by pulling out the military school papers that my mom had forged his signature on and it wasn't just that he also had evidence she forged his signature one at least one credit card application and one other thing I don't recall that made mom fear being arrested for fraud and they went through Court pretty fast because she agreed to most of his terms mom got the house because Dad didn't want it but she also demanded

alimon and child support because my sister unsurprisingly chose to stay stay living with her the judge awarded my mom the child support and a minimum amount of alimony for a decade of monthly payments the alimony basically just covered my sister's allowance anyway mom was pretty mad about that and threatened to take him back to court but he held those forged signatures over her head for years to make her back down on the day I left to live and Dad's new house my sister stuck out her tongue at me and smugly said mommy told her that

she was a princess and the more deserving sibling and that's the reason why I was leaving the house I just shook my head and told her to think what she wants because I didn't care anymore then walked out the door finally feeling free as a bird my Rel Rel ship with my sister when she came to visit dad's house once a week only got worse after that until finally we stopped talking all together for years and I didn't really care to visit mom's house she pretty much got in my old room for a home office
