Father, thank you. Before I ask you for anything today, I simply want to come into your presence with a grateful heart and say thank you. Thank you for waking me up.
Thank you for the breath in my lungs, the strength in my body, and the gift of another day. Thank you for being God over my life, for loving me faithfully, and for carrying me through moments when I did not know how I would make it. You have been good to me, Lord.
And today, my heart chooses gratitude. Thank you for your mercy that meets me every morning. Thank you for your grace that has covered my weaknesses and your patience when I have fallen short.
As your word reminds me in Lamentations, your mercies are new every morning, and great is your faithfulness. Father, I have seen that faithfulness in my life. There were days when I worried, yet you sustained me.
There were moments when I felt tired, yet you gave me strength. There were times when I could not see the way forward, yet somehow you continued to lead me. Thank you, God, for every blessing I can see and every blessing I may never recognize.
Thank you for the prayers you answered and even for the answers I am still waiting for. Thank you for the doors you opened, the doors you closed for my good, the opportunities you gave me, and the lessons that helped me grow. Thank you for provision, protection, peace, family, strength, and every expression of your kindness toward me.
Lord, even when life is not perfect, I still have reasons to praise you. When circumstances do not unfold the way I hoped, help me remember that your goodness hasn't changed. Keep me [music] from becoming so focused on what I am waiting for that I forget everything you have already done.
Thank you for your presence today. Thank you that I do not have to walk through this day alone. Thank you for going before me, staying beside me, and holding me with your unfailing love.
May gratitude remain in my heart throughout this day. Let [music] me notice the small blessings, appreciate the ordinary moments, and never take your goodness for granted. You have done more for me than I could ever fully express.
So, with all that I am, I say again, thank you, God. Thank you for life. >> [music] >> Thank you for grace.
Thank you for mercy. Thank you for everything. In Jesus' [music] precious name, I pray.
