of the country I'm a twin I love love playing sports I knew this girl beforehand and I knew she didn't have a twin so I picked that one nope she had a conjoined twin that died in the utero and had to be surgically removed and now she's missing the last vertebrae on her spine showed us the scar and everything apparently the lie was the first one as she'd been to Mexico Story 3 in my psychology class we were talking about the early signs of serial killers and the quietest girl who never spoke told the story

of when she lived in Chicago she had a friend around fifth grade who would always stomp on baby birds and once put his hamster in the microwave well his parents were having difficulty keeping up with his Antics so they sent him to his grandmother's who he promptly stabbed when she woke him up for school so that Was interesting story four my friend is really quiet he doesn't really talk unless talk too he's really cool though and has some things he enjoys doing literally second year I knew him the teacher asked this and he said he's

a professional bowler with a 300 best and I was like why haven't you told me this that's amazing I guess it's just never came up knew him for a whole year and never knew that story five when I was in my first year at University my law and Society Professor made each student get up say his or her name and tell why they picked law school well a guy got up said his name and the professor interrupted him by saying Anan are you related to X the guy yes Professor he is my grandfather then the

professor got excited and started talking about how great of a guy X is and that they haven't heard of him in years then the professor asked how he was Anan replied he is dead sir the whole class is trying To hold the laughter it pretty much broke the class that first day story six I teach ESL in every lesson we start the class by sharing something good that happened to us over the last week or so needless to say kids share the most random things ever I have many weird stories because of that we enforce

a rule that they need to share good things so they don't start one uping each other over whose Grandma had the worst death one day a student said I was riding my Bike over the weekend when I fell I could see where it was going but didn't have enough time to enforce the rule when he just spat out I fell over a wired fence and cut my neck it just kept gushing blood a lot of blood I reminded him that we were only sharing good news when he said it's good because I'm still alive I

had a good laugh and agreed but the damage was done every kid after him wanted to share about the most horrific injury they had or witnessed now Everybody share the most horrific injury you've had are witnessed I'm kidding don't do that okay good news good news only story seven someone in a a class once told everyone about how his grandparents were arrested for keeping a bunch of adopted children in cages he said that he used to play with the kids when he was young but he was too young to understand that the conditions they were

in weren't normal they kept kids in cages and locked in rooms for years Before they were discovered and arrested yep fun fact edit I'm not a teacher this person who told the story was in a class with me as a young adult Story 8 okay so I had psychology back in the spring semester before Co hit and I sat next to a girl who I was good friend with from high school Professor asks her for a fun fact and she said I like to watch people get cut open she obviously said it for a fact

but she cleared it up by saying she liked watching videos of people getting Plastic surgery because it's satisfying to watch story nine I have two thumbs on this hand I am raising cockroaches in my closet to sell to the reptile shop story 10 even though I'm a professor nothing that's ever been revealed by this question has ever been as awkward or uncomfortable as an occasion that happened when I was a student this was when I was in my MFA program for creative writing if you've never been in an arts program before it probably won't Surprise

you to learn that they can attract some weird personalities it was the first day of a fiction workshop and the professor decided that he wanted us to share something interesting about ourselves and for some reason one girl Ashley decided that this would be a good opportunity for her to tell us about her long history of drug abuse and the equally long period of mental psychosis she went through as a result of it it she didn't do this as a quick answer Either but as a long drawn out list of every single drug she had ever

experimented with followed by a catalog of every single delusion she suffered as a result the only one I can remember now is that at one point she became convinced she was a millionaire and her family was hiding her money from her all of this was delivered in a monotone monologue with her eyes glazed over that lasted at least 5 minutes which was me at the end with a long awkward silence Before the professor said well that was definitely something interesting and moved on to the next person you know I had something similar it wasn't a

drug abuse story but rather someone stood up in a theater school as well it was very artistic and attracts a lot of interesting folk and he told the story of how many houses he had broken into and how many children were scared and how he felt like a bad person because he had committed so many breaking and Entering you know felonies or whatever and yeah it was uh it was an interesting story for sure while we were all like this little breakfast buffet never figured out what happened to that guy story 11 not me but

my brother he told the teacher last night my family ate Beaver for dinner I was much older and had left home by then the class laughed the teacher accused him of lying the principal was brought into this and my mother had to go in for a meeting she'd Chewed them up one side and down the other because we had a cousin who was a Trapper and he had sent a batch of beaver thighs for the family to enjoy although my brother was telling the truth he told me later that he did say that for the

fact disrupting the class story 12 I'm a teacher from the UK former tutor to a year seven class 11year olds to get to know each other on the first day I had them take in turns to say their name which Primary School They've come from and an interesting fact like favorite food or color we get to the last kid in the class his fact is that he has six fingers on one hand coolest kid ever story 13 I teach Middle School this one still Takes the Cake that his mom and dad have the same parents

her elderly stepfather married her husband's elderly mother still weird but much better story 14 not a teacher but on the first Day of 9th grade we had to form a circle and say one thing about ourselves that we thought was unique when it was this dude's turn let's call him Mike Mike stands up and says in a really serious tone my mom and dad grow weed his house got raided the next day and his dad got arrested story 15 not a teacher but the daughter of one my dad had a student tell him during the

fun fact question in detail about how his goldfishes died that morning and how he experimented on Their corpses he had pictures on his phone of the skin off and the intact skeleton next to it he is a successful taxidermist now so Silver Linings I guess story 16 one guy I love sa sometimes I sa sometimes me and my friends like to get together and listen to sa some of my favorite essers include Tupac Dr Dre Eminem biggie my favorite essay song is English was not his first language he had us in the first half not

go first he proceeded to talk about the day he was captured an essayed by an enemy soldier and how he now goes around and helps other Soldiers with the Wounded Warrior Project it was difficult for anybody to follow that one of the nicest guys I've ever met story 21 along the same Avenue after a winter half term the teacher Asked how was your break my class went silent for some glorious seconds when it was my turn and I said well my granddad died and my dad got married yes in that order my teacher asked my

to say I told the teacher that somewhere in an 8-year-old girl's bedroom is a voodoo doll of her and probably me too story 27 I work with preschoolers 3 to 5 age group one day we had the kids go around and tell us one thing that made them special most were pretty normal I'm really good at drawing I have two big sisters Etc and then I get to this one Little girl super cute and sweet looks me dead in the eyes and goes I been around forever I've seen the whole world and I know everything

it's okay she's going for free because a guy is paying for her classes because she told him one of the babies was his she then whispered Jokingly under her breath he's not I'm kind of Blown Away at this point no way can this get more intense right wrong one of the last girls gets up in front of the class and immediately starts balling students and teachers encourage her to just sit down take her time time or excuse herself she says she has to do this she goes into a detailed story of how her dad is

in jail for murdering her mom over cheating on him everyone is stunned students are hugging each other I don't know if it means if I'm insensitive but I was more than uncomfortable the teacher expresses she got more out of this than she expected yeah you think the class was weird to go to the rest of the semester but we got through together I feel like I've been doing it all wrong every time I go into a class like that and they say give us three interesting things about you I go here's my favorite food color

and TV show now you know me story 29 in first Grade for show and I got up in front of the class and said yesterday I learned my dad is from Mexico my teacher looked at my pale blond-haired blue-eyed European surnamed butt and squinted hard do you mean he's from New Mexico nope I insisted from Mexico there certainly are blond-haired blue-eyed Mexican folks of course and genetics are tricky but I understood her confusion I went home to tell my mom about it she told me that no one in her family was from Mexico my dad

Was from Ohio and a grandfather was from Texas but that was about as close as we got to that I still have no idea where that came from my dad is also mixed so they might have been trying to explain to me something my brain was unable to compute I do know I was very confused who my father was when I was little he worked far away so I hardly saw him and I have a distinct memory of a man getting back from a Navy cruise when I was little and my mom telling me he

was My father so so who knows maybe my mom wasn't sure either story 30 my mom's friend's brother has a weight problem easy to see why when you see what he eats unfortunately he encourages his young Sons to share his bad diet and other bad habits when his oldest son started Secondary School 11 years old he was asked for a fact about himself and he said he could eat two very large bigger than an adult's head large Cornish pasties and a cake and will Still be able to eat dinner I heard he gets bullied for

his side but his dad still encourages him to eat and like it his mother tries to discourage this but one of the bad habits his dad is passing on is being disrespectful to women the oldest of his male cousins mom's friend's son was bullied for his size so he keeps begging the kid's father to try and help him lose weight because the bullying is only going to get worse but he won't listen and blames everyone but Himself yeah this is a really sad and unfortunate situation in which no matter how right the mom might be

or other people will be the son just has a weird you know psychological you know desperation to please a father and the dad is so out of control I'm assuming it's because he's so off the wagon it's like misery loves company maybe he doesn't want to be the only fat one maybe he was bullied and he just feels like you know I'd rather go down the Ship with somebody else rather than hey I would rather you have a better life than me I would rather you be healthier and more free and people actually don't ridicule

and belittle you but no it's sounds like he's uh really trying to instill some bad habits which is not you know normal for fathers at least the ones I know and again nothing wrong with being out of shape but if your father is you know enforcing you to keep you know eating worse and putting on more size And then also the whole disrespecting women thing like it's all it's all a big mess story 31 OMG not a teacher but the student introducing ourselves around our grade 10 social studies class and my intro goes hi I'm

cat bomb four I'm blah blah blah blah blah and I really really like trees like I swear I have a tree fetish the teacher gives me this what the heck look and goes okay and quickly moves on I confused fetish with the word Obsession still weird but holy smokes I Did not mean to say I'm sexually attracted to trees story 32 first grade student told me that she likes spending time with her dad's special friend more than her mom because the special friend brought her things in exchange for not telling Mom about about her fast

forward 2 months to parent teacher conference and I'm sitting at the table knowing dad is cheating on Mom and Mom has no clue and dad has no clue that I knew story 33 once during an mu conference the chairs Asked us to say our names and a fun fact people of course were saying their Zodiac Signs Now let me tell you something peculiar about zodiac signs in my language the sign Virgo is called veram which is also the same word for Virgin that conference was being held in English instead of our native language so you

can imagine how it went hi my name is blank and I'm a virgin story 34 on the first day of sixth grade in my math class the teacher was having every Student introduce themselves and tell them if they went by a nickname this one kid requests to be called the Surgeon General in a confusing attempt at humor he thought it was pretty funny we all laughed at how weird it was but there was no actual thought put into the joke as he was just being random but the teacher remembered this and whenever the kid acted

out and class the teacher would refer to him as Mr Surgeon General when reprimanding him much to the kids's Embarrassment story 35 I had my students ask what they wanted to be after they graduated a girl who sat near the back and was a little more edgy was up next to answer and she looked around and said I want to be a mortician because living people are the worst to work with the dead don't talk back to you they don't demand things and I'm in control and nobody really spoke to her for the rest of

the 15 week class except me by default story 36 doing two truths in one Lie and a student responded I like video games I like school and sometimes I perform experiments on stray animals in my neighborhood where I'll use a needle to take blood from one animal and inject it into another animal I just kind of stared in disbelief he went on to explain how the recipient animal would then start to exhibit behaviors and features of the donor animal and how he wanted to be a biochemical engineer when he grew up I really hope hope

that last One was the lie I never found out but I reported the whole incident you know as a native ohioan this is bordering on a certain dmer story that we hear a lot story 37 not a student but a teacher when I was in the eth grade we had a new science teacher she was 26 years old and it was her first full-time teaching job she was really laidback and she basically turned every Friday class into a free period where we could just goof off one of the things she did though was She had

us write down anonymous questions for her to answer with no topic off limits she answered questions about her sex life things she did in college drugs she had taken Etc the one that stuck out the most was she admitted to us she was cheating on her fiance with the shop teacher you know I know you've had sex had in eighth grade and all but I don't know if that's appropriate story 38 my fact always gets a lot of response I have a birth defect In my tongue that makes it very long and pointed and when

I stick it out at people tend to be really shocked on an unrelated note we had to make a calendar of our typical month in primary school once and I wrote I fight with my mom or mom hits me on almost every day and my childhood was pretty crap story 39 I had a friend in college that felt like she never had a good fun fact to share so she memorized all of the US state birds so she could say that she knew them all As her fun fact she was expecting someone to not believe

her or quiz on one but when she actually shared the fact in class no one did so she memorized them for nothing story 40 I love God I had a Korean student here on an international Visa his host family were Korean as well but they were very strict about English in the home they were also super religious on the first day of school this kid was super nervous trying to fit in and Pretty clearly only saying stuff he'd rehearsed with his host family I think something got Lost in Translation at their church and he thought

he could use God as a verb meaning to worship God I had him for US History bright kid and he always brought an interesting perspective effective but the language barrier was right out of a sitcom story 41 when I was in 9th grade we were asked this question I answered with something lame but another kid volunteered that he Writes erotic novels in his spare time the teacher scolded him and moved on a couple months later the same student left a notebook on his desk it was filled with erotic stories about most of his female classmates

I don't know what happened but we never saw him again story 12 sadly in a sex ad course a 12-year-old was very worried about having ETS AIDS and HIV my parents have been using drugs and have shared many syringes even when my mom was pregnant With me so I don't know if I have it or not so sad so shocking for us the teachers and the kids in class story 43 coach at the time not a teacher so slightly different relationships end of year 7 UK School aged 12 the question was slightly different you had

to say something that had changed about yourself over the past year One Voice stands up and simply says pubes story 44 High School teacher here I usually do this at the beginning of the year with My freshman but I have them do it on a note card or a piece of paper for the kids that are shy they also seem to be much more comfortable sharing information they probably shouldn't on the card too a lot of strange ones most of the time it's kids trying to be funny most bizarre was probably the girl who said

the most interesting thing she did in the summer was dig up the corpse of her dead cat story 45 one time I said in like fourth grade that I have needles And my backpack and I stabed myself with them three to four times a day the teacher asked me where I got my needles and I said Mom and Dad get them for me turns out she didn't realize that the IEP for diabetes was for me and there was a long talk with my parents and me about how I don't talk about stabbing myself with needles

or that I have needles I now just say I've been diabetic since I was one story 46 when I was in high school I had a teacher ask Us a similar question about something we enjoyed and I remember almost everyone had a pretty Norm Al response but this one guy who never really spoke before just sat there with a serious look on his face and said I like blood followed by this really awkward silence before the teacher just moved on to someone else pretty sure he moved later that year so I don't know what ever

happened to him but there was definitely something unsettling about that kid Story 47 oh God I think most experienced teachers would never ask that question knowing the crazy stuff kids would say most of the weird things my students have told me were spontaneous ly volunteered information example I had a middle school girl tell me in all seriousness that she was going to spend her summer with her grandmother the queen of London yes London you know uh in comparison to all the violent and Psychopathic children this one's not That bad story 48 it's not the student

that said this but the teacher herself that told the class she has a huge cardboard cut out of a stormtrooper in her class on her desk there's a stormtrooper mug a plushy and a variety of multiple other Stormtrooper items at the beginning of the year we introduced ourselves and said something we liked she went first and said I've always had a crush on those sexy Stormtroopers this one time one of my students dressed up Like one and it was very awkward story 49 the story sort of relates it's not weird but I think it's something

everyone should hear when I was student teaching we asked the students to write anything about themselves that they think we should know on a piece of paper they could write their name and leave it Anonymous it didn't matter the school I taught in was in Flint Michigan all black sand very high levels of poverty one student wrote that every day he got Home from school and spent all evening cooking and cleaning for his seven younger siblings helping them do homework and just taking care of them while his mom worked her second job he then wrote

that he's sorry if he smells like marijuana and to please not send him to the office if he smelled like it because that's how he coped with the stress of his life and didn't want to get into any more legal trouble for it that was written by a 13-year-old I just Wanted to give him a hug and tell him I'm a stoner too and don't worry about it at all it's one of my biggest motivators to dedicate my life toward fighting systematic racism and for a world where no child has to grow up like that

really most answers we received were heartbreaking and I expected them to be more weird or personality type things but mostly it was just devastating story 50 I had one student who used to be on Barney I had one Eighth grader at the small mostly economically disadvantage school where I used to teach who had been mountain climbing skydiving paragliding and bunge jumping all before eth grade and she had picks of all of it I have one this semester who is going to play baseball at University is taking low-level Basics at the community college where I work

to get them done in summer early but already has an agent and is in talks with MLB I have another this semester Who aspires to be a US senator his first paper talked about visiting his father at work in DC story 51 had a student tell me he did parkour professionally wanted to become a stuntman but that his parents wanted him to have a backup plan and and so he was attending college he then went on to do a Shameless plug of his YouTube account Instagram and told us all to check him out and to

follow him and yeah pretty sure he wasn't a professional edit he said he was YouTube Famous when he introduced himself and said some of y'all might recognize me and no one did story 52 a student I remember in first days of high school in History Class the teacher asked us all an interesting fact about ourselves everyone was saying how they went to Spain on holidays play hockey whatever bear in mind mind we were all still playing and cool and being sheep so we weren't judged at such an early age then it gets to one guy

in the class and he Goes I saw a man get shot story 53 not a teacher but in my junior year we had a kid in class that had Tourette's and was autistic the teacher asked if we did anything fun or interesting over the summer when it gets to the kid he excitedly says I went on vacation and visited my grandmother and she let me have tons of ice cream and we played a lot and she's a freaking female dog teacher um okay and anyone else want to share the whole class died laughing and No

he usually didn't yell out swears like that during class so I think maybe his grandma really was a female dog story 54 I teach college students one of the worst responses I've ever had to that question was from a male student who was doodling in his notebook while other students responded when it was his turn he put down his pencil gave a long pause and sighed he introduced himself without looking up his voice was very even and quiet so I had to lean in to Hear him he then said my fun fact I wrote a

kill list in high school and went right back to doodling he wasn't joking he wrote an essay about the experience later in the semester he nearly got expelled when one of his friends ratted on him I never asked that question since story 55 not quite the same prompt as op asked about but what had happened was student I don't need to learn math to work me well what kind of work do you plan to do in life student Deal drugs for my cousin until I have enough money to set up my own operation kids got

goals me do you know how much math goes into cutting weighing and calculating your product as well as keeping track of finances student crickets the kid became a model student in my eighth grade math class after that did you just teach him how to break bad but like exceptionally well yeah Mr White story 56 as a general answer I just wanted to say it's always Incredibly important to ask this type of question to your students at the beginning of a school year yes most of the answers are typical but you would be shocked at how

many students utilize a question like this in order to reach out and share something difficult going on in their lives in a single year I got everything from I have no friends to I have crippling depression and my parents are alcoholics it's an excellent way to gain insight into your students lives And support them however you can edit wanted to specify that the students share these responses privately on a short questionnaire about themselves to begin the school year they only share what they choose to share with me in writing I would absolutely never ask a

student to share something personal in front of others or at all really unless they wanted to that is very true and especially in college I mean these are young adults and they're going through a Lot I guess High School too but college is when you're really on your own for the first time and there's a lot of new flareups and different struggles that you're like just kind of encountering every single day so it might feel like trauma dumping on the whole class A lot of times in most of these stories and it is but you

know when you don't really have an outlet it's hard and just kind of you need a way to get it out so you can't can't really blame them and it's Nice of some of these teachers and professors that genuinely do provide an outlet and they're like hey you know tell me something about yourself if you feel open to it cuz I'm here for you story 57 I just finished telling the class how I had pet ducks in high school that were blue orange and green when they were ducklings when the next guy said that he

premise was that a toilet paper roll was passed around and however many squares you took was how many facts you had to tell about yourself except they tell you this after everyone's taken some squares I had done this ice breaker last year so I already knew what would happen but I went and Took about 20 to 30 squares Just for kicks my friends were like what are you doing you know that's not a good idea and I just smiled so my turn to share facts about myself I ran through generic facts like my siblings favorite

sports and colors yada yada yada I then sort of ran out of ideas so I started coming up with funny things on the fly like what my mother's maiden last name was or what my social security number was I didn't actually know it so I just spat out some Random numbers eventually my facts were reduced to I like statements and one of the adults was like all right all right enough next person but I was like whoa hold up I still got some squares here So eventually after wasting maybe 45 minutes I successfully had said

20 to 30 facts about myself I'm still proud of it to this day story 75 in my senior year my math teacher asked why I cut my hair I had Fairly long curly hair and no crap I responded my friends kept calling me a Jew she went straight back to the teaching and didn't acknowledge what I said this single thing is what keeps me awake at night I mean I wasn't lying they kept calling me that and it got annoying so I cut my hair but why the F did I answer that TR truthfully story

76 not a teacher but when I was a freshman our gym teacher had us stand in a circle say a fact then make up a quick alliteration involving our last name my buddy leans over to me real quick and Tells me to say masochistic insert last name that starts with them my stupid self didn't know what it meant or cared enough to make up something else so when it came my turn I just blurted it out gym teacher was not pleased and the homie looked like he was about to bust at the seams from containing

his laughter teacher had to pull me aside later and Define the word story 77 my first year first day on the job this kid told me in the whole class about how a Few years prior he and his mom were attacked in the middle of the night by her stalker he beat her nearly to Death the Kid watched the whole thing from the stairs and claimed he saw an angel watching over her then the guy suddenly stopped took out a gun and unived himself I guess his mom wrote a book about it I had no

idea what to do and so I went to talk to my principal about it at the first recess we looked it up and sure enough it wasn't the papers and her Book is on Amazon story 78 we were playing two truths and a lie during one of our last morning meetings this year if you don't know the game basically you come up with two things about yourself that are true and one that is a lie then everyone tries to guess which one is a lie one of the boys in my class fifth grade excitedly volunteered

to go after me his three choices for us were one I ate a pine cone yesterday two I fell off my hoverboard and broke my tooth three I Had cake for breakfast all the kids and I knew it wasn't the second one because he would have been bragging about a broken tooth already that meant the first and third choices were true meaning he ate a pine cone yesterday we all asked him why he would choose to eat a pine cone I don't know I was just bored and it looked like it could be tasty I'm

going to blame Ice Age and Sh the sloth for all those delicious pine cone scenes story 79 this one kid shared That to brush his teeth he first wets his toothbrush squeezes the toothpaste on and wets it again before brushing it launched a 20-minute discussion on brushing routine as this was the only reality that some knew and others were blown away finding out that there was a different way to do it it took up half of the class time and I couldn't be happier As A Worn Out ta you know what drop your brushing routine

down below story 80 I'm not a teacher but I was the One who told the weirdest and cringiest thing we did these fun fact things every week so by the time the school ended we would have reached the last person on the last day of school of course I was last and mind said I played co-ed hockey and I checked a girl so hard I gave her a concussion me being a male it was embarrassing for me only after I wrote it down at the beginning of the school year did it dawn on me that

it was going to be an awkward situation so every time My teacher pulled a fun fact I started to swat and stress out good times story 81 I was at a corporate training event and we had to introduce ourselves in something we're most proud of and people were saying some crazy crap like raising a child as a single mother while getting a master's being dead free divorcing a toxic partner and some other crap and one of the new hires a new grad probably 22 23 stood up and was like hi everyone I'm Jim Bob and

10 years ago I held my Crap for 11 days cuz I was at camp and didn't like using a public restroom story 82 I have a few to answer this question in my first year student teaching one of my students decided her fun fact was that she currently had lice but it was a secret because her dad couldn't afford to take off work or the shampoo to get rid of it this is after she hugged me by the way when I was in Big Brothers Big Sisters I did something like this with my little brother

he told Me he has seven older siblings then said well six dad killed my sister when I mentioned this to his teacher out of concern his father was wanted on murder charges out of state when I was student teaching in a special ed High School class I had a girl tell me her big brother takes care of her because my mom is always too sleepy the teacher told me mommy is always smoking something with the kids in the room story 83 College freshman looked me in the eye and said I Unintentionally killed three birds in

three separate but identical accidents I hid each bird under my bed covers to keep younger kids away but forgot about it and jumped on the bed to lie down I had to throw the comforters out every time feathers everywhere never made eye contact with her again story 84 two things I guess one was a junior high girl that said as a little kid they didn't know the difference between the toilet and the sink so they would poop In the sink second wasn't weird per se but was just not the direction I was expecting it to

go it was a group of fourth graders the second kid said their parents were about to get married that caused almost every one of the next 20 kids to describe the past present and future relationship statuses of their parents as their interesting fact story 85 this past year I had gotten a student from Somalia come to me midterm his English was pretty broken and he seemed Totally lost in the Middle School environment so I asked him what his experience with school was so far just to get a gauge of things he was able to tell

me that his parents stopped allowing him to go to the only school near their house because one of the friends was attacked and eaten by hyenas while walking the long long way back to the Village from school apparently they had to walk so far to the only free school they didn't get back home until After dark when the hyenas were out hunting a group of hyenas attacked him and his friends so they ran and when they got back they realized one of the friends was missing and they never never found him he also told me

that before all this they always tied rocks to the ends of the belts to beat the Hyena's back that would try to attack them but the last time the group of hyenas was too big and the group of kids walking back from school was too small so there Was nothing they could do but run it was such a sad story the kid was really sweet too once he figured out email he would always send me Dragon Ball Z coloring pages to print out for him I'm going to miss that little dude too long didn't read

kid from Somalia had a friend eaten by hyenas while they were walking back home from School edit I also remembered more details for those interested my city has a free zoo and he said he went to it with his family he Said I saw the zoo has hyenas in the cage and all the people were saying oh so cute but I say no they are monsters how you think they cute he also mentioned another time that he didn't like the dark because at night he would wake up and think I'm back there at night with

the hyenas and I scream and I scream and we thought our grandparents had a long walk to school story 86 not a teacher but we did this at my mom's work and her answer was I have a dead cat in My fridge my cat had just died and we were waiting for a good time to have a ceremony and bury her I've also most definitely told people that I have dead animals under my bed and in my closet as my fun fact I come from a science family and so I had a ton of animal

skulls vacuum sealed dissection animals animal skins and Etc growing up story 87 I don't know if mine's weird but I said to a class it's a fun fact I guess that I got bitten at the age of two or three by A mosquito that had wnv West Nile virus and that I was in a coma and my heart rate flatlined as in apparently I died or whatever and they had to help me get my heart rate back but uh yeah my mom and dad would get emotional when thinking about that time so I tend to

Hussein is though story 90 in middle School there was a girl in my class who had a schizophrenic father who was crazy abusive to her and she thought it was normal I remember one time she had a huge mark on the side of her head and I asked what it was and she just casually said oh I got a in trouble so my dad hit me with the belt I told her that was bad and she said really he's just really strict it sucks but it's not that bad she ended up realizing everyone she told

about that always said that he was Abusing her and then she finally realized it wasn't normal her dad got arrested last year because I called DSS and reported it the next day she hugged the crap out of me and I was really uncomfortable she ended up pulling out of 13 years of physical mental and verbal abuse with anxiety PTSD and MDD and she managed to fight through the PTSD and no longer has flashbacks or anything related to PTSD and she is currently fighting depression she takes Medicine for anxiety and depression and she's doing really well

we started dating in seventh grade before her dad was arrested and we've been together ever since you know a lot of stories are like that where people just don't know what they don't know you know you're kind of in your own circumstances so no matter how good or usually bad it is that's your normal and it's good that some people can kind of bring that to the light and be like hey you know this Is this is not okay that's really sad but good on everybody else to kind of you know look out for her

and rescue her in a way you know it's a pretty deep conversation to have in seventh grade so good job everybody story 91 I asked the students to write down three things about yourself on an index card most General to something specific I collected all the cards and had everyone stand up if everyone could relate to what I read those people stayed standing If people could not relate or did not apply to them them we sat down and at some point the person whose card it was would be the last person standing one wrote it

be like that sometimes and everyone stayed standing including me because it be like that sometimes story 92 a student in my college class talked about her boyfriend who was 10 years older than her a child essayer seriously and that she always paid for his meals it was crazy this chick had no filter And each thing that came out of her mouth was just as shocking as the last my professor tried to explain to her in the nicest and non overstepping way possible to get the F out of that relationship she then said that her parents

siblings Church Etc were all against her being with this guy but said the only reason she didn't want to break up with him was to avoid an awkward encounter and that she felt bad for him this was a relatively normal girl too Good-looking never swore religious no clue why she dated someone like that when she had a ton of better options story 93 I was a professor of game design at a university I asked this question I was told I'm here by chance huh I put all the things I wanted to be about 50 in

a hat Drew out two and flipped a coin wait what was the other one police officer so you're spending 100K on a draw from a hat yeah I guess so story 95 I never asked that question Specifically but I overheard one of my 8-year-old students telling one of his friends that he liked to stare at the television when it was switched off because it made listening to the voices easier to hear at that point I tried to position myself so I could hear more clearly but they moved away and did other things so I never

heard the rest I mentioned it to the principal later in case it became relevant at some stage kind of freaked me out to be honest Story 96 my senior year last few days of high school my English teacher asked the class to share something they learned or experienced while they were there most of it was basically the same stuff with a few jokes but then this super greasy skater kid who smelled like weed half the time tells us how he bought a big box of condoms freshman year and now they all expired before he could

use any of them I think it was a super cringey and weird joke but he was the one person I could expect to actually do that English teacher laughed it off but nobody else got to go after him story 97 when I was six in my class had to act in a theater play in school the Puss in Boots I had to be the princess which I hated and a kid had to kiss me in the cheek because she got married or something and then we all had to say our names and what our character

had been in the play I suffered a lot and thought that being the princess and being kissed Was the most embarrassing thing in the play but when we finished we were saying our names and rolling the play another classmate said my name is mouse and I have been Hannah all parents and kids on and off the stage bursted and laughed story 98 teacher here but this story comes from my college professor it's actually more odd that she repeated the story it was an englishreading class where she was challenging students to provide her words that she

would then Define the student provided the word smegma I don't know why this woman chose to share this with us that was maybe only the third or fourth most bat crap thing she did all semester
