this is way better than a cauliflower crust pizza which I've had on keto this is like 10 times as good as a cauliflower crust hey everyone I'm Dave and welcome back to the AI kitchen today we're going to be making cottage cheese keto Cloud bread pizza that's a mouthful but basically pizza with very low carbs and we'll talk about the carbs and stuff in a minute I asked AI to create this recipe chat GPT it created the recipe based on scouring the internet and referencing other recipes I'm sure and we're going to try making it
and see if it ends ends up being a revelation to our palletes I'm not a professional cook I just find recipes and try to cook them and see how it goes and sometimes it goes poorly hopefully this one goes well I did get a little scared when I saw Cloud bread in the title because I recently made a video where I tried to make Cloud bread and it was hard but I do think I've got it figured out now as far as like how long to leave it mixing to get the firm Peaks and all
that stuff but this one seems like it's actually going to be pretty easy let me get a cup of cottage cheese reason being it doesn't make us do any sort of fancy egg yolk separation or anything like that but it does make us take a cottage cheese cup a cup of cottage cheese and it wants us to kind of mix it with like a food processor or my little Ninja chop thingy to kind of make it smooth I use this little Ninja chop thingy all the time cuz it's super handy put it in there mix
it all up and you end up with the consistency more like sour cream than cottage cheese now I did I did find out I can put links to products in the videos so I'm going to put a link somewhere in here for this little Ninja chop thingy it's it's 20 bucks and it's awesome use it all the time for tons of different stuff okay so that's like a nice smooth texture this recipe does look incredibly Easy by the way we're now going to take the cottage cheese and put it into our mixing bowl and this
is like my KitchenAid mixing bowl put that all in there nice smooth cottage cheese doesn't have the curds anymore cuz the curds have been annihilated hey fun fact that I've learned with all these cottage cheese videos I've been making cottage cheese has a little thing in it known as magnesium some of you already know where I'm going with this we're now going to add four eggs to this mix now what I've learned about magnesium is it can have a little bit of an intestinal repercussion if you eat a lot of it or consume a lot
of it I'm going to do these four eggs uh four eggs is the next step into a bowl and then transfer them over there just so if I get any shells I can take them out someone asked me why I put it in a bowl first it's literally just in case I get shells in there then I don't get shells in the whole recipe I just have to take them out of the one thing like that but yeah magnesium guys you may want to stay close to a toilet if you have too much of it
I'm always bringing the fun facts you know all right so we have four eggs added in there so now we've got cottage cheese four eggs we are now going to add to the mix 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese which I bought the pregrated stuff I guess you could do it yourself but add that in there this is all the crust we're making the crust right now 1/4 cup of almond flour goes in next easy peasy then you want to take a/4 teaspoon of baking powder now you guys recently taught me that the lip on
the baking powder can is supposed to be for flattening the baking powder for leveling it how interesting is that you guys taught me something thank you then we want to take a/4 teaspoon of garlic powder it doesn't have the fancy shelf and then 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder on on onion powder where are you there and add that in so a whole bunch of ingredients basically an ingredient dump here and then a half teaspoon of Italian seasoning which would be 1/4 teaspoon two time two times two TS then we're going to put this on our
little KitchenAid thingy and we're going to spin it up so I got my KitchenAid mixer thingy not sponsored and we're going to mix that all up into a big combined dough type thing all right that's mixed up and I'm over here struggling with parchment paper as always if my channel ever gets big enough to have T-shirts the first t-shirt's is going to be me looking confusedly at parchment paper what am I supposed to do I don't know heaven forbid I look it up I'd rather just fail at it every time all right so this is
all mixed up mixed in mixed up mixed in now we take a parchment lined parchment paper lined cookie sheet and we're going to dump this into it scissors work good but but I don't know I don't know where they are I could try to find them I found some scissors I'll tell you the truth when it comes to searching for stuff I basically have given up hope as a human that I'll ever find anything so I don't even look for things anymore I'm just like I'm not going to find it why look for it but
you know what this time I found something pretty proud of myself all right so we're kind of lined with a parchment paper now we're just going to dump this in here this is our pizza dough I know it may not look like dough yet but it will once it Cooks let's get that all on there you want to set your oven to 350° if you haven't already go ahead and set that I'm just going to spread this out a little bit I kind of want it to be covering the whole entire cookie sheet like so
that's going to go into the oven at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes until it's golden brown based on my history with cottage cheese cooking it's going to be 20 minutes at least so I'm going to put that in at 350 and when it comes back out we're going to put the toppings and it's going to go back in so bear with me this might be incredibly delicious and low carb all right guys so it's been about 20 25 minutes that that pizza dough has been in there and I'm going to take a look yeah
it looks and feels kind of ready for the next step I think I hope how do I know for sure H maybe I just like take a little peek I want to make sure it doesn't look all wet in the middle so I'm just going to take a little peek inside it here oh yeah that's cooked through okay so since we're at the next step it's really simple we now make our pizza and of course with our pizza we've got to get some sauce now I think Rouse r o is like the def on the
keto diet it's the lowest sugar six carbs in a half a cup so if we were to do a whole cup which is what I think we're going to do might be too much I don't know let's see let's do half a cup first and see where we're at half a cup might be enough actually don't need too much sauce does it say how much sauce to use it says half a cup okay so it says half a cup so that's probably what we'll use that seems like it's going to be enough anyways you don't
want too much sauce on your pizza pie use half a cup which of according to Row's thingy that's six carbs uh one fiber so not terrible but that's for the whole entire thing and you're not going to eat the whole thing you're making this to share most likely all right now we're going to add one cup of mozzarella cheese to the mix and maybe make a little mess in the process and just kind of spread that out all over the top cuz we need your cheesy Delight of a topping now you could add more if
you want this says it's one carb there's very few carbs in the cheese so I might add a little more there is one carb and 1/4 cup so I guess that's four carbs in a cup I guess that's if you did stick really strictly to the the ingredients then you could kind of use that add it all up and then divide it by how much of the pizza you eat now I like pepperoni on my pizza so I'm going to add a little pepperoni but you don't have to do this you can put any topping
you want you can do sausage all that stuff's a low carb so if we're going keto then any of these things would work you can load it up with 10 different Meats put bacon etc etc now your calories you know you got to watch your calories but as far as the actual carbs meat's not going to add much in that regard all right now I think it goes back in the oven let me take a look yeah in additional 10 to 15 minutes is it still hot a little bit additional 10 to 15 minutes for
our cheese to get melted and our sauce to get hot and then we're going to have our pizza all right guys we're back our adventure in cottage cheese continues who would have thought you know a year ago or even a month ago that you could make all these things out of cottage cheese and they would taste nothing like cottage cheese but instead be delicious no offense to cottage cheese lovers here's what we've got we've got our Cottage cheese pizza completely cooked looks pretty good it's like uh you know pan pizza cottage cheese style you know
my pepperoni is a little greasy I probably could have used higher quality pepperoni I'm going to take a pizza cutter and we're going to see if this even gets close to satisfying my craving for pizza right now I'm a little nervous about it I'll be honest cuz I don't think it's going to have like that thick crust or chewy crust that I like in a pizza yeah know so there you go kind of see what it looks like I mean it kind of does look like a pizza crust honestly it's pretty close let me get
a plate it's scorching hot though I might burn my mouth shocking right shocking turn of events Dave Burns his mouth in a video all right we'll talk about the carb count in this and stuff let's try the cheese only first with no pepperoni and see how that is I inhaled it you know what I'm coming to learn this is kind of a spectacular Revelation cottage cheese is kind of magical the way that it can kind of make these things health healthy and not high carb but just as good as the original I mean just a
good maybe not as good as like a New York style pizza but dang is this close this is way better than a cauliflower crust pizza which I've had on keto this is like 10 times as good as a cauliflower crust in my opinion let me try this one the consistency is really good I think the almond flour is helping it get there I may have to go keto I mean jeez this is all so good and low carb what are the carbs on this let me take a look all right so cottage cheese keto pizza
for the entire thing is this is 900 calories is and it doesn't really know the toppings I put on it so it could be slightly off on that front so it says if I cut it into fourths just e a quarter of this the total carbs would be 4.5 G if you eat the whole thing the total carbs are 18 G now net carbs on the other hand is 15 G for the whole entire thing so if you ate a third of it you'd have five net carbs one third of this whole thing would be
five net carbs so that gives you an idea I'm not even showing it oh yeah you can see it down here so eat the whole thing you're at 15 carbs net that what I said yeah net carbs is 15 that's not bad so you wouldn't eat the whole thing it's a lot like I could see myself eating a third of this about five net carbs and that would be about 350 calories a really good option if you're looking for low calorie low carb dinner that's burning my fingers uh definitely try this out guys hit the
