so our end goal is for every bitcoiner in every part of the world be able to borrow against Bitcoin and never sell single [Music] set one of the core value propositions of Dei non-custodial Global and no replicated loans for any need basically any anything you want in particular here in Madera we already helped organize the first loan and the loan went to a place to be which is a initiative un schooling initiative a place to be is not a business for me it's not a project it's really the extension of our lifestyle because we don't
send our kids to school we're unschoolers and we're bitcoiners so we're freedom maximalists and what um um a place to be is it's just our lives in the bigger scale so that we come together with other families who are aligned with our values a year and a half ago I started this project and it was really tiny steps at a time it was just me doing it all by myself and I had a few ideas how to make this work but it was all very blurry and I just took it one step at a time
and um then one day few months ago once I already had a little team my husband said he had spoken to Max from deify on the on a conference and mentioned you know the loan possibility and I thought that sounded like a really good thing for for the project to get it started our loans also to be ethical and that they will be able to help B Corners pursue their dreams very grateful to deify and Max and the whole team
