stop losing the day and expectation of the night now that's a quote I like to use because it's it's about how we you know Place negative expectations on a lot of the things within our life and a lot of times those things are outside of our control you know we live out our day-to-day but if not it's something we fear we worry about it so much that we almost lose our day we're losing a lot of the present moment and in thought about some that's almost guaranteed or something that isn't necessarily something we should be
thinking about I think that our awareness is one of the most powerful things we have in our Arsenal and the more we choose to be aware of the more we choose to give attention to the more our reality is kind of shifted towards that something the more we focus on like the more we think about things that could be within the night the more we think about the negative aspects of it that are worth fear and the more and more we lose our day it's kind of like similar to the concept by addressing in my
last video with you know squinting your eyes in Search and losing everything around it but in this case you're not squinting your eyes you're Focus your mind you know you're connotating something that doesn't necessarily need connotation you're worried about something that doesn't necessarily need your your hand within it it's not necessarily worth your worry because my part and losing a day and expectation tonight losing the day and expectation of the the or done something like that it just is going to show that a lot of the times we get stuck with it online and kind
of neglect what's happening right now right here the present moment when we are in thought in General within our mind it's almost impossible to be present you can't be present and be consciously thinking at the same time you know you have to kind of take a step back in order to let your mind analyze situations and and make moves and react and and whatnot but you know to truly be conscious and present it's when you don't have daughters when you're almost letting your body or mind or whatever go into some type of autopilot state where
you know you're not necessarily connotating the present moment you're not worrying about what's Happening Here There and everywhere you're just being there within yourself and I think we do that in in more ways than one you know it's not just about losing the day and expectation at night it's about losing ourselves and an expectation of a different self it's about you know prescribing certain limitations upon ourselves and then somewhat putting ourselves down for not reaching those certain goals and attaining them it's as if we realize we have a infinite amount of potential but we don't
have the esteem enough to truly believe that we can achieve those certain things you know we all know it's possible to do this this that but we don't actually think that we can't you know I I find it very interesting how people tend to have you know really big Egos and low self-esteem it's like you know you think you realize that though the world is your oyster the world is you know within your grasp but you don't think you yourself could do it and I just find that pretty humorous you know you're lost in your
own expectation for yourself and I feel like you know expectation strips away our freedom you shouldn't necessarily expect things it's it doesn't really do anything for us but promote an early version of suffering or you know make us more disappointing when that thing doesn't arrive I think to truly be free of expectation is to be free in general yeah I feel like the more we tend to not expect something the more we're able to be present the more we're able to be genuine with the the world around us and not allow certain circumstances to stimulate
Us in negative ways and and make us react in ways that are somewhat detrimental to who we are as people the more we allow ourselves to be within the day the night you know whatever the connotation May provide the more we're going to be able to appreciate those things and appreciate ourselves
