you ever heard the saying that everything is energy raise your vibration those are the things I would have told you in college when I was in my backpacking days I admittedly didn't really have understanding of what it meant but as I've deepened my understanding in the world of self-improvement I really have come back to the fundamental truth that everything is energy you don't manifest what you want because let's face it everyone wants more money more happiness more love better relationships you don't manifest what you want the reality is you manifest who you are and everything in your outer world is a reflection of what's on the inner world but another way the energy and the vibration you're experiencing on a day today I want to be a bridge between some more esoteric spiritual knowledge and really practical grounded self-improvement application because I'm telling you for me this one concept I never saw the world the same way before I explain the secret chart I drew up for you and we Deep dive let's first talk about what is vibration and energy Nikola Tesla said that if you want to know the secrets of the universe think in terms of energy frequency and vibration and what he was hinting at there is that everything vibrates the material world is essentially an illusion now stay with me here that desk you're watching me on right now that phone that computer if you zoomed in at the very smallest Quantum level there's particles that are vibrating so fast and at the quantum level everything is essentially empty space and no matter meaning your body these hands that you think are yours zoomed in at the smallest Quantum level is just a bunch of energy vibrating really fast with mostly empty space look at the people in your life who are vibrating low Vibe maybe you've felt in low Vibe States yourself now when you're in that state of self-described low vibe do you really feel like getting out there and living at the 2. 0 you lifting people up being loving to those around you no it's kind of a dark State isn't it let's just call it what it is it sucks I've been there at times in my life where I felt low Vibe everything felt like it took so much energy some people use the word depression but just take that word like it's depressing it's compressing yourself you're getting smaller and you see people depressed and in low Vibes they're literally making themselves smaller they're hunched over they don't have energy they feel tired and exhausted and drained that's low vibration so if you want to get out of that what's the opposite well it's high vibration you see people who are really energetic or in a high Vibe or just laughing or having a good time think of yourself like the best moment of your life I'm willing to bet you're in such a high vibration time went by faster you were having more fun it felt more like a true version of you all success is is finding out okay when were you high Vibe what were you doing how can we tap into more of that consistently and also what were you not doing what are the things that suck you down and take away your energy take away your vibration wouldn't it be great if there was some terminology or some visuals to explain this concept have I got the chart for you my friend [Music] I'm telling you this explained a lot for me in my life ladies and gentlemen this is the vibrations chart let me walk you through this and we'll give you some examples tie this back to you and how you can use this if you and I were to sit down together and have a brainstorm session of all the emotions you could feel on a given day we'd probably come up with something like this where you have low emotions at the bottom and you have high emotions at the top in short you want to experience more of these peace Joy love acceptance courage and we want to let go and release these desire anger apathy shame and guilt let's not get into the science of how this chart came about it's pretty intuitive when you just look at it I'll order less of these please with a side of a lot more of that these emotions we can label as high Vibe these ones are a flow State these ones are just getting by they're kind of neutral they're yeah I'll take it it's better than this which is suffering now as you start to move up this emotional scale and tap into more of these high vibes your energy starts to expand Life starts to take on a bit of a different meaning and the people around you the colors are brighter the flavors taste better but when you're down here your vision is so narrow focused I mean this sucks so very important Point here is the process of raising your vibration is going from contracted I call these 1. 0 U low Vibe emotions and working your way up through the inner work through self-improvement through believing in yourself spirituality through letting go to higher ones up here here's what gets really cool when you experience better emotions you attract better people better things better opportunities like we said you don't manifest what you want you manifest who you are that's right getting it this chart making sense so far okay I want to give you some examples to really tie this home let's take an example we can probably all relate to getting out of a relationship and let's just say you didn't do the dumping you were on the receiving end of getting dumped and let's just say the person cheated on you very positive image I know you will naturally go through this whole evolution of getting over that person you might start in an area of Shame and guilt around the situation she cheated on me because I am no good you internalize it it's my fault I messed it up then after a while time hanging out with friends doing the work you start to move into apathy where man nothing matters I don't have her what's the point of anything in the case of this relationship grief you might have the fear come up I'm never gonna find anyone again I might be alone after this then you move into desire I want them back that's the only one I want maybe before or after that you have anger you know what they don't want me back screw them and here's the thing some people get caught there and they never evolve past that that anger starts to become their world view of men or their world view of women and they say things like all women blank all men cheat on you the underlying tone with that is a lot of anger what that says is people just haven't evolved through that they haven't worked their way up this chart they're getting stuck or blocked by a lower emotion and thus their life feels kind of shitty as they say garbage in garbage out I'm not above this I've had this in my life too which is why I have first-hand experience with this pride pride kicks in oh man she left me she doesn't want me back well I'm gonna show her I'm gonna get ripped and then she'll know what she was missing maybe pride is I don't even want them anyway deep down inside here I miss her so much but then a funny thing happens if you allow yourself to let go work through this reflect time is a good buffer for this eventually you get into the spots of acceptance you know what she left me and although that hurt and I was damaged and you know I went through the ringer of this I wouldn't want someone who would treat me like that I actually maybe a good thing that this happened because I wouldn't treat me like that that's a powerful emotion because now you can start getting into reason and love reason the good things she left me because I don't want someone who would treat me like that thank God we're not together anymore holy crap you can eventually get into love experience joy and find peace see how that example follows this natural progression doesn't it going from a low Vibe of suffering out of a relationship into a high Vibe of finding love again and connection one note here is while we took the example of relationships this can happen with money this can happen with life circumstances this can happen with grief the seven stages of grief is another theory right when someone dies you go through these this can happen fast for some people this can happen really slow for others sometimes this never even happens at all and again you get blocked or stuck here along the way [Music] I used to know someone whose parent was just always watching CNN like you'd go in and it was just this news network and it was Doom and Gloom and our last president was in office CNN's ratings were crazy because people tuned in to fuel that negativity and like hear about this negativity of this evil person some people get addicted to these lower Vibes because that's all they know in that example of consuming the news you might be thinking well why would someone consume something that's blatantly negative all the time well here's the thing I mean if they're naturally vibrating at a lower State like someone who's really depressed news is actually their way of raising themselves up if you're in shame and guilt well news calibrates around anger and fear doesn't it so going two steps up feels good it's your way of raising your Vibe and so from that angle we can't really even judge people who choose to consume that they don't even know that they're stuck or blocked there another thing that really keeps you stuck and blocks you and lowers your vibe in that situation gossip gossip criticizing and blaming you want to stay as far away from that as you can take an audit of your mental diet and your inputs what are you fueling your mind and your thoughts with and how that's impacting your life because remember garbage in garbage out couple habits on this that have served me very well that you might consider adopting every single morning I wake up and the very first thing I do is I fueled my mental inputs with high Vibe nutrition so I'm reading I'm meditating I'm journaling I try to do this the first hour of the day mentally washing yourself and getting in those High vibes one common critique I had about this when I was getting into the world of inner work and self-improvement spirituality was well if I'm in a low State like I'm literally in this crappy two-bedroom Seattle apartment where it rains 300 days a year I don't even think we have heat in the house my business isn't working I'm just literally at my computer blanking and I have no energy to really do anything how do I operate in a high Vibe when I'm obviously in a low Vibe like this feels fake here's a deep dive answer on that there was a study done I believe it was published in the Journal of neurophysiology I'm gonna paraphrase it here but they took two groups of people and they were going to teach them how to play piano the first group of people they gave lessons for five days for two hours they never played piano before in their life they hooked them up to an fmri a brain scanner they could see all these new motor networks that started connecting that's what happens in your brain when you start learning new skills you get better and better it becomes more habit becomes more subconscious the first time you do what's really tough and then your brain starts to formulate all these new connections it just becomes easy here's where it gets crazy the second group five days two hours a day except they never laid a hand on the piano all they did is they showed them what they would be doing and they just had them mentally rehearse it this is what's really cool is when they hook them up to the same brain scanner they found almost an identical amount of new motor pathways that had formed when I heard that I got goosebumps because why that's so cool is that your brain doesn't know the difference between something that you vividly imagine and actually experience in reality you often hear the advice fake it till you make it if you're not competent for the job just uh freaking fake it buddy and then you know no one will know the difference actually that's not that bad of advice except for the fact that you often feel fake when you're doing it so the best take on that advice be as if be as if you are that person already because remember your brain doesn't know the difference between if you're faking it or not so when you're tapping into these higher Vibe States even though they don't feel like it yet that's actually the process of raising yourself up and being as if when I was 30 Grand in debt in my mom's basements I started creating this 2.
0 identity version of me and I said although I don't have it yet the million subscribers you know the millions of dollars if that's where I want to be over here and I'm back here well every single day that I'm actually on that path eventually I'll get there if I don't quit right that's the exact same process with you so if it feels fake it's just because you're at the start and if you just be as if and stay on that path eventually you start to merge in and you are that person and that whole like realness of when it actually happened is an illusion in other words it's a gradual moving and attracting towards it's not just like a flip a switch and then it happens [Music] I actually found a shortcut so instead of working through these just like jump straight up here and it's one word excitement I'm convinced that excitement is like the most powerful Vibe you can tap into because when you're really excited about something or someone or some opportunity or a new future that snaps you out of like low Vibe like that but I think a lot of people just forget they do one thing and they get excited one time usually around New Year's right so when you get excited about this dream version of you it actually snaps you in to some of these higher Vibes even if you're in a lower Vibe and your brain is thinking huh well I'm excited I don't know if this thing has happened yet because I'm visualizing it like we showed you in that piano study you don't know the difference I often say that when you're visualizing or you're manifesting or when you're journaling or you're thinking about this 2. 0 you it feels like deja vu when you get it that's the freaky thing about when things start to manifest in your life when your life just starts to turn around and everything starts clicking and you start seeing these results yes you're excited in the moment but when you get it there's a different level of acceptance of like yep I knew this was going to come great you're not entitled you're not ungrateful but it's not like you just got surprised knock on the door hey just won the lottery here's 40 million bucks it's not that kind of thing so find ways to tap into this excitement every day I've spoken before about creating a mini scene in a movie and revisiting that every single morning or evening tapping into that excitement feeling the emotions of you in that Dram 2. 0 version maybe this is journaling maybe this is looking at other people and getting really excited about seeing what's possible being excited when you see people who are crushing it and being like you go I'm gonna cheer you on good for you and hey that's possible for me too there's one important Point here on this chart because you might be thinking well why do sometimes I feel like I'm in that state of where everything's clicking but then other times I feel like I'm bouncing down here I got the answer you actually you don't have one vibration you have two you have a habitual state of where you calibrate and then you have a temporary state of where you can jump into your habitual state is what you are in Eighty percent of your life your day-to-day and that's more who you are your temporary state is the 20 let's say you feel really lonely or you feel isolated well when you're hanging out with friends maybe you don't feel that and so for a moment you're in that high Vibe State and then as soon as you go back in this excess stimulation is gone your friends leave you're just like shot back into the low Vibe State let's say you feel tired and anxious and in your head well a lot of people they take the outside stimulation of drinking and it helps loosen them up it gives them liquid courage right which if you notice on the chart calibrates in the middle so if they're in a low Vibe State liquid courage it brings them up and they have all this new energy to talk to people and like be them themselves and express but what's the problem well you can't be drunk forever I spoke about relationships earlier so in this case with habitual versus temporary some people are in a habitual emotion a lower Vibe and remember you attract to you what you are not what you want and so maybe they leave a relationship that they self-describe as being toxic oh he was so toxic he was a narcissist now get out of it and they're going through all these emotions and then like three months later they're in a new relationship and they're vibing so high and they're like this person is totally different this person is like ultimate like ah I'm so in love and then what happens after three months with that person they start to notice all these negative traits about them the rose-colored glasses mirroring that person's flaws come off and they see them more objectively and they're like what the heck happened like where did that person go where they went was there all along you just shot up into that high Vibe temporarily of love and then you recalibrated to your habitual Vibe what's the solution there is it to just keep jumping ship it's to look within and raise your habitual vibration instead of focusing on that X success stimulation so you need to recalibrate this habitual State what you notice is that when you start doing this inner work when you start learning how to let go is you find that your lows are higher and your Highs are higher as well there's a range of experience so if you're just in this range right here you can only experience these emotions maybe temporarily get shot up to here and then you go back down but then as you start to habitually raise your vibration through inner work through Letting Go Boom now you're here boom now you hear it and boom now you're here and so it's really hard when you're in this state to get sucked all the way back down we've been talking a lot about raising your Vibe and I think that one of the best ways to raise it is to actually let go of lower ones a lot of these lower ones come from your core stories or what's happened in your past you need to let go so you can make space and move up and let things in so what I'll do now is instead of going through that whole process here in this
