the Bible says something interesting in 1st Samuel 26 verse 23 it says the Lord rewards everyone for their righteousness and faithfulness the Lord delivered you into my hands today but I would not lay a hand on the Lord's anointed hear that carefully the first part of that verse says the Lord rewards every man for his righteousness and his faithfulness that's profound and it really makes me think how do I stand before the Lord when he looks at me does he look at me and see a faithful heart does he look at me and see a
committed Christian when God looks down from heaven does he see me as a Believer who is striving to live in righteousness now now the topic of righteousness is one that I find intriguing we're called to righteousness however we as people are far from righteous so then what is it that we need to do if the Lord rewards every man for his righteousness but yet we're born in sin how can we be rewarded well to begin with Saints I believe that when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior then Galatians 2:20 can be said
of Our Lives because the Bible says I been crucified with Christ it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me so we've established that a human being is Born Into sin this is clear because psalm 51:5 it explicitly States behold I was brought forth in iniquity and in sin my mother conceived me so I may be born in sin but when I repent and give my life
to Jesus Christ I can then say what Galatians 2:20 says I have been crucified with Christ it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me and the life which I now live In the Flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me so Christ now lives in me therefore when it comes to us chasing righteousness it comes down to how much of ourselves have we yielded to Christ do we love the Lord Our God with all our heart soul and mind or do we
place him behind Earthly pleasures and material things Deuteronomy 6: 24-2 says the Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the lord Our God so that we might always prosper and be kept alive as is the case today and if we are careful to obey all this law before the Lord Our God as he has commanded us that will be our righteousness Saints it will be righteousness for us us if we follow all of God's statutes his Commandments and to fear Him and remember the Bible says the Lord rewards every man for
his righteousness and his faithfulness now let us go to the throne of grace together dear Lord Jesus you alone Are Holy you alone are righteous father if we try to live a righteous life through our own strength or our own will then we will most certainly fall but as the Bible says I have been crucified with Christ it is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me as you live within us Lord you can displace all evil from our lives you can give us free freedom and break the hold of sin over
our lives you Lord Jesus can remove everything that is corrupt remove everything that is unclean Lord Purify Me cleanse me God from today Father and from this moment I pray that you would increase as I decrease may you fill us up with your Spirit Lord I take my life and I place it in your hands I pray that you take the lead may you take precedence in my life I pray that your Commandments would outweigh my own selfish Ambitions God take my hand and lead me father God in agreement with everyone listening right now we
declare that our desire is to walk in in a manner which is pleasing and acceptable in your sight our desire is to walk in a manner that is pure and Christlike Lord your word tells us that the way of righteousness leads to life and not death so lead us King Jesus to eternal life I pray that each and every one of us would experience the change in our lives from today and Lord May the Holy Spirit radically change our hearts to the glory of your name your word says in Psalm 1 veres 1-2 blessed is
the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that Sinners take or sit in the company of mockers but whose Delight is in the law of the Lord and who meditates on his law day and night guide us King Jesus so that we would not be found walking in the counsil of those who are sinful and wicked Lord give us hearts that Delight in your word it's in you Jesus that we seek strength it's in you Lord that we can overcome you're a God who never disappoints the one
who gives us peace of mind Direction true leadership and so we bow down to your Authority King Jesus Psalm 23:3 says he restores my Soul he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake we have faith in you Lord because unlike the people on this Earth unlike the ways of this Earth You never lead us astray you will never lead us to destruction it's only you King Jesus that can lead us through the valley of the shadow of death and still offer us peace it's you that can lead us through the valley
and still offer us joy May the fear of the Lord rest upon me as I pursue righteousness in this life the Bible says in Proverbs 9:10 the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy one is understanding may you place wisdom upon my life Lord as I fear only you I thank you for your strength King Jesus the strength to overcome sin continue to increase within my life as I continue to decrease father be praised and glorified thank you for hearing this prayer it's in Jesus name I pray
[Music] amen the Lord is my light and my salvation Whom Shall I Fear the Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid when problems arise and we find that our backs are against the wall the word of God has to be a source of encouragement to us the word of God has to be that which ignites the fire in our faith it reinvigorates Our Hope and belief so that regardless of what you're facing despite the size of the enemy despite whatever is taking place in our lives we have a Divine
and Heavenly insurance policy which is the word of God now I urge you to look at Luke chapter 4 very closely Jesus was in the wilderness and he was tempted by the devil in Luke 4: 3-4 the Bible says and the devil said to him if you are the Son of God command this Stone to become bread but Jesus answered him saying it is written man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God in verses 5-7 the devil continues his advances and offers Jesus the kingdoms of this world but in Luke
4:8 here's how Jesus responds the Bible reads and Jesus answered and said to him get behind me Satan for it is written you shall Worship the Lord your God and him Only You Shall Serve now the devil was audacious and he thought to try and tempt Jesus a third time in verse 9 he takes Jesus to Jerusalem and has him stand at the highest point of the temple saying if you are the Son of God throw yourself down from here but once again Jesus responds in Luke 4: 10 to1 saying for it is written he
shall give his angel Angels charge over you to keep you and in their hands they shall bear you up lest you dash your foot against a stone now I want you to understand that the devil tempted Jesus three times and each time Jesus referred to the word of God the devil knocked three times and each time he was answered with the word of God the devil offered riches he said if it's money that you want worship me if it's power that you want worship me Jesus was offered the kingdoms of This World by Satan but
Jesus was content he was full of God's word three times Jesus responded by saying it is written and then proceeded to refer to the word of of God now let me ask you when the devil tempts you how will you respond what will you say when the devil knocks on the door of your house and tries to convince you to let him in how will you respond do you have enough of God's word in you to resist do you have enough of God's word in you to fight we need to dwell and meditate on the
word of God because it tells us all that we need to know about how to resist the devil how to defeat the Devil and how to be protected against the devil lord Jesus you are Great and Mighty I pray that your word may be kept hidden in my heart may I live a life according to the principles and commands that are in your word I pray that the holy spirit will bring the word of God to Life For Me may your word be ingrained in My Heart Lord should the devil try to tempt me let
your word rise up within me and strengthen me should the devil try to lure me with riches with fame or with anything in this world help me to hold on to your word help me to remember that your word in 1 Corinthians 10:13 says no temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man but God is faithful who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able but with the Temptation will also make the way of Escape that you may be able to bear it lord it's in you that I
find satisfaction if I hunger you are the bread of life if I thirst I will come to you Jesus because I know that in you my heart will overflow with rivers of Living Water keep me strong Lord Jesus help me to reject the advances of Satan help me to declare your word when I am conf confronted by evil I stand on your word that says in Isaiah [Music] 41:13 for I the Lord your God hold your right hand it is I who say to you fear not I am the one who helps you I thank
you for such a promise I will not fear because my help comes from the Lord although the devil may work against me I trust you to help me although my enemies may come against me I trust you to be my Defender Lord Jesus indeed a thousand may fall at my side and 10,000 at my right hand but it shall not come near me because I have Jesus Christ as my refuge Lord I stand on your word that says in Psalm 27:1 the Lord is my light and my salvation Whom Shall I Fear the Lord is
the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid although the struggles of life may come in all shapes and sizes you my Lord are a stronghold in the day of trouble I am secured by your promises you are a God who has never lost a battle a God who has never been defeated nor can ever be defeated so whatever comes against me I know that I have a strong and almighty God fighting for me father I pray and declare that I have Victory in Jesus I declare that I am more than a conqueror
according to God 's word I am covered by the blood of Jesus Christ be praised Master be glorified I thank you for hearing my prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray Amen in Daniel 6:1 the Bible says now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed he went home and in his Upper Room with his windows open toward Jerusalem he knelt down on his knees three times that day and prayed and gave thanks before his God as was his custom since early days Daniel had a custom a way of doing things that
involved time alone with God by praying three times in a day what can you say is your custom when you can become consistent at setting aside time for the Lord He will draw closer to you another way for you to be more consistent is by making sure you feed your spirit Jesus said man shall not live by bread alone what did Jesus mean by this he meant that physical bread only serves to feed the body but Jesus in John 6:35 said I am the bread of life whoever comes comes to me shall not hunger and
whoever believes in me shall never thirst this means that only Jesus can satisfy our deepest needs and longings once you become consistent at chasing the Lord consistent at feeding your spirit with the bread of life then you will find that all you could ever want or desire is in Jesus Jesus Christ is all encompassing only he can make make us whole in addition to feeding your spirit with the bread of life in order to become more consistent with God you need to feed your faith the more your faith grows the more real God becomes to
you the more your faith grows the more apparent it is in your life and in your heart that you need God and what this does is it not only lights up a fire within you but it fuels the fire the more your faith grows the more you want the Lord the more you hunger and Chase for him feeding your faith is important because Faith sees the invisible that's why we're told to walk by faith and not by sight the human eyes only see what's in front of them if there's a disease in your body your
natural eye will see that disease it will see and feel the pain but faith on the other hand sees the miracle Faith Sees God instead of the disease Faith believes what others would call Unbelievable Faith receives the impossible I encourage you to feed your faith because faith will defeat every attack that comes in the form of doubt discouragements and impossibilities another thing that will help you to build consistency in your relationship with God is being watchful Matthew 24:42 says therefore stay awake for you do not know on what day your lord is coming we do
not know the day nor the hour that Jesus Christ will return and so what better motivation is there to remain consistent with God than the return of Christ being watchful means that you have one eye in the Bible and you have one eye looking and verifying all the signs that the Bible is telling us you're looking at the state of the world and you're looking at what the Bible is saying regarding this I found that when I'm taking heed of God's warnings about the last days I become more focused on examining my life to ensure
I am living in God's Will and finally in order to be more consistent with God pray pray and keep praying consistency in prayer will bring you closer to Jesus and will help you to walk in Victory when you make prayer a regular practice you make communicating with God a regular practice and you have to be intentional about your prayer life in order to be consistent I found that you start small if it's 5 minutes today make it 10 tomorrow and then make it 15 as you do this you will find that God will reveal himself
to you through prayer you connect with God through prayer so I encourage you to strive to be more consistent in your relationship with God strive to be more consistent when it comes to reading God's word when it comes to feeding your spirit and feeding your faith when you become consistent in your walk with Christ you will find that you will experience a more fruitful relationship with the Lord what you love will change because your heart is renewed your passions and desires will change and be aligned to all that is pleasing to God so strive strive
for consistency now let's pray Lord Jesus your word in Proverbs 16:3 says commit to the Lord whatever you do and He will establish your plans father in obedience to your word I commit everything to you I commit it all Lord the plans I have made they're in your hands father the goals I've written down and all of the things that I want to achieve I commit them into your hands father in agreement with everyone under the sound of my voice we commit our ways to you we commit Our Lives to you Lord Jesus our families
our children our marriages we commit it all to you mighty God take control and have your way let your will be done in our lives God May the Holy Spirit lead and move within our hearts and our homes so that we may do that which is pleasing in your sight father in committing all that I have to you I am saying that I sub submit to you Lord Jesus I Trust You Lord I believe in you and I believe in your word Lord Jesus as I commit everything to you as I declare my loyalty and
Devotion to you I also submit my thought life into your hands I submit my heart's desires to you reshape my thinking Lord let my thinking be aligned to the word of God let my heart desire be pure in your sight this world may try to get me to conform to its ways but I pray that you would give me the strength to overcome the Temptation Of The World friends may try to entice me so that I can conform to their sinful ways but Lord I pray that you would give me the strength to overcome every
Temptation may I be so committed to following you Lord that nothing in this world would take my Focus or Draw my affection Lord I will not fear the unknown because my eyes are continuously fixed on you I pray and declare Psalm 16: 8 and 9 I have set the lord always before me because he is at my right hand I shall not be moved therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices My Flesh also will rest in Hope I will not be moved by any situation my heart is filled with gladness and joy because
I'm under your care Lord Jesus I may not know what tomorrow has in store for me but I do have faith that whatever the enemy means for evil you Lord will turn it around for my good I may not know what tomorrow has in store for me but I do have faith in you as my provider I trust that you will be be my safe place be glorified in my life Lord Jesus I'm at peace because I know who my God is I'm at peace because I know who my source is I'm at peace because
I know who my protector is Lord you have my focus you have my attention I look to you and you alone for direction for strength and for Comfort I Praise You Lord Jesus for all that you've done and I praise you in advance for all that you are doing and that which you are still yet to do father help me to fearlessly believe in Exodus 14:14 it says the Lord will fight for you and you shall hold your peace God help us to boldly embrace your word help us to embrace it boldly with no doubt
help us to declare and hold on to Isaiah 40: 29-31 he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak even youths grow tired and weary and young men stumble and fall but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength they will soar on wings like eagles they will run and not grow weary they will walk and not be faint I pray for strong faith God I pray that I may stand up for Jesus Christ and testify of how he turned my mourning into dancing I thank you for your grace
