as the unidentified body of a woman was found washed ashore at kachal in kanyakumari District investigators examined the body along with the missing woman's sister but the latter did not identify it as her sister the version of drowning was not confirmed and the search for Liga continued Andrew on the other hand was convinced that his wife had been kidnapped by local gangs for the purpose of selling her he tried to infiltrate these gangs to get more information but was exposed and warned that repeated contact with the gangs would result in him having to leave the

have been grabbed from a nearby Beach and transported by boat before being strangled a special team of investigators has begun looking for those responsible for the crime about 40 suspects were interviewed however arrests were planned to be made a few days later after the law enforcers had enough evidence the Indian police conducted an investigation that led to the arrest of two men who were eventually accused of killing Liga scran police revealed that Liga scran was lured by two men who then abused her before dismembering her body the the alleged asants who are now in custody
are local dealers in illegal substances the suspects fully confessed under torture both the accused were pimps and were also dealing in illegal substances police said the autopsy did not reveal much evidence because League's body was badly decomposed Andrew Jordan filed a petition in Superior Court calling for a review of the felony murder case he believed that more people were involved in the woman's murder in the ition he pointed out that both defendants later recanted their pleas of guilty to the crime according to Jordan the men may have confessed because they were tortured which as it
