hello everybody Welcome to the Alex the analyst show thank you guys so much for watching today we are going to be talking all about how I change careers into data analytics and I'm going to talk a little bit more about what I'm doing today versus a long time ago so seven eight years ago when I first became a data analyst and if you guys have been following me on YouTube for a long time you most likely have seen I have made a video about how I became a data analyst a long time ago but I
haven't made an updated one that recently and so I wanted to kind of update through because my life has changed over time uh it's now been uh seven years compared to the three or four years when I made that video a long time ago and so uh I'll be going into a lot of different stuff about how I made the transition into be uh becoming a data analyst why I made certain decisions in my career what I'm currently doing now and how I transitioned out of working a full-time W2 job because I no longer have
a boss I am my boss my wife was my real boss but I have a I Am My Own Boss um and I you know run an analyst Builder I do Consulting I do my YouTube and a few other things and so I'll talk all about that as well and so there's a lot of things that I'm going to talk about that I haven't in previous ones and so this is kind of more of an updated one and so if you haven't watched the before one uh from many years ago then just watch this one
and you'll catch up and see everything it's going to be great um this is my long form Episode by the way I typically you do shorter videos about 15 minutes or less these long ones this Alex anal show it's like a podcast style where I just talk for a long time so if you have a coffeee if you're going on a drive if you're working out this is great to keep in your ear because I think I have a somewhat soothing voice uh I could be even more soothing if uh you'd like me to uh
no I'm not going to do that now it's getting weird all right um so I'm going to start at the very beginning how I kind of learned about data analytics what I was doing before that in college and I you know what I'll just go back to my birth uh I was born in 1990 uh now um but I'll go further back I'll start from the very beginning I'll bring you up uh to recent to recent times and what I'm doing today um and throughout it I'll talk about salary how much money I make uh
or how much money I made how much money I make uh and maybe I won't go to all the details because it's very fluctuates greatly depending on uh you know when it's happening but all that being said I'm going to divulge a lot of information I hope it is helpful to you to learn more about just career paths and progressions and my thought process and how I got here as a you know YouTuber with a big data analyst following and my own businesses and stuff like that so I think it'd be pretty interesting so if
you're interested in this conversation stick with me it'll be fun so I'm going to start back um you know I didn't know what the word data meant in 2017 never heard of it maybe I'd heard of it but I didn't know what it was like I didn't actually know what anything was um I went to college for recreational therapy I initially went to become a doctor or then a nurse and then I switch switched to physical therapy and then at my school in order to get into the physical therapy or the occupational therapy master's degree
programs a lot of people were going through the recreational therapy uh undergrad so that's what I did so my degree was basically like helping people through games through Play so it's like therapeutic play essentially what it was and we would help people with Autism with Down Syndrome um people who were depressed people in psychiatric hospitals all sorts of places Eld Lally um whoever we could help we would help that's what we did so we' create games to help people um and it was awesome and I loved it and I did that for uh two years
um and then you know in college I I studied that for two years I got my degree and then I was like all right I need you have to go through an internship to get kind of certified and then you can go for your master's degree so my plan was is I'm going to go do my internship I'm G to come back and live with my parents in South Carolina and then get my masters perfect plan I loved it so I flew out to uh Dallas Texas I was living in eastern North Carolina at the
time and so I just wanted to get away I had a few different options one was up in New York one was in Dallas uh and so um I and there was one other one and so I had a few options I decided to go out to Texas CU i' had never been there just wanted to try it out so I went out there didn't know anybody um on the seventh day I met my wife uh maybe it's the sixth day uh I met her at church and we just we hit it off um we
started dating I was doing my internship at the same time as I was like meeting getting to know her um and my internship was great I actually really liked it a lot and I was working at this inpatient hospital um a behavioral health hospital for you know depression and suicide and bipolar and I was learning a lot it was a great internship um well near the end of that internship I really wanted to stay I really was like please do you have a job for me like I just need a job I want to stay
I don't want to go back and get my masters I was like I want to marry this girl I I want to stay um but they were they couldn't help me and so I started applying to any job I could find well eventually the places I was interning at they were like okay we can't hire you fulltime but we can hire you for $10 an hour um and you know we won't have many hours though and I was like that's fine I just need like you know enough to pay my bills U which were very
low at the time I was I my total bills were like a th000 a month for groceries rent um Insurance everything I was right out of college um well that $10 an hour I maybe was getting 15 hours a week um so I was making like 150 bucks a week um it was not enough but I had like a little savings um and so I did that for like several months until I finally got um a job now my girlfriend at the time my now wife we have three kids together spoiler alert um we she
was working at a nonprofit and there was an opening at her company for something called a resident Advocate which was kind of like the lowest job at the company um you can help people get um you know drive people to jobs I would drive them to go get haircuts U the nonprofit was for people who had been abused in relationships and we're trying to escape that so I would I would cook for them I would um you know clean uh the place that they were staying like the shelter and that's what I did well I
stayed there for about 6 months and after about 6 months um several of the managers approached me and they were like hey um you seem just like really smart and you like a go-getter and we all like you because you're is kind of a small company and like they all wanted me to do something different one wanted me to be a pro uh um a case manager which is very in line with what I kind of had already been doing it's working with people helping them one-on-one kind of like a social worker kind of thing
um the other one was a different job that I popped up and I actually applied for it it was for a data collection specialist analyst uh inter inside the company um and so I I applied for it I got an uh an interview and it was just working in Excel now I could have gone two ways I could have gone the case worker which is kind of like what I already had done but I had a little bit of foresight like I kind of was like hey this is almost like a tech te role I
don't know anything about tech but this kind of like a techie role let me check this out and it was working in Excel and I was like I can work in Excel I know what Excel is um and so I you know I got these offers and I chose the data collection specialist and analyst knowing absolutely nothing and they kind of taught me Hands-On hey here's how this work is done the lady who had been doing it her name was Joy had been doing it for like 20 years at this one company and she all
of a sudden was leaving retiring and so so I was getting trained by Joy so she was teaching me how to use Excel and how to collect the data and how to use it and we would submit this data collect it and submit it for Grants um and so that was kind of my first job it was not a data analyst job it was my first job as like in any data thing at all and I was just learning a lot near the end of that internship or not the internship near the end of that
job um I eventually got out of there and I'll tell you that in a little bit but we wanted to get a different database system instead of just Excel we started using uh we wanted to get bring in Salesforce so a CRM so we brought in this Salesforce guy and he starts helping us set up and he's like okay you're the data guy here and I'm like I'm the data guy here he's like okay uh so you guys what do you guys use he's like do you guys use SQL and I was like what SQL
and he was like dude you have to know SQL SQL is like super important looking back that guy helped me out a ton because after that meeting that we had I went home and I started looking at sequel stuff then I became obsessed with SQL every single night my wife can ATT test she's downstairs but she get ATT test every single night I was sending like two to four hours taking squel courses was I great no but I was really passionate about learning I was so interested in this because I started looking up different jobs
as data analysts and being like wait a second I kind of need to know this sequel stuff if I want to get a better job so I'm in that job for about a little under a year maybe it was like eight months a year um and the job just became like really toxic if you want to call it toxic but just it was a nonprofit and if you know anything about nonprofits it's not usually the best people working there um so there was a lot of arguing and fighting and yada y y and so I
was like I want out of here so I had a background in healthcare I knew a little bit of excel uh I knew a little bit of squel and I was like I want to get into Healthcare analytics so I started looking at every Health Care uh you know data company I could find um only in the Dallas area I didn't really know what remote work was I didn't know that was even a thing I just was looking at iners in Dallas and that's where I was lucky for me Dallas is like a perfect place
to start a career in data because there's so many companies out there that are in health care that are in banking that are in um you know cars and vehicles and whatnot automobiles there's so many great companies out there so I got really lucky just in my location um and I found this small Healthcare analytics company called uh kpn Health uh I still have it on my LinkedIn so if you want to go check out their company you can they've pivoted things in the past um but I got an interview there and uh I don't
I don't know how much detail I should go into but I was really nervous for that first interview I had never worked with a recruiter before that's how I got that um that interview was a recruiter I reached out to a recruiter he was like hey uh you know you want to work at this company or an interview at this company I was like absolutely I do uh My Healthcare background would be great and I was really nervous to meet him I was like babe if I don't come home call the police uh that was
literally what I told her I told her my location the interview went great um I wasn't perfect but and I kind of failed the technical interview a little bit because I didn't know what joins were exactly like I didn't use them perfect i' just been taking courses I hadn't built any projects I didn't the stuff that I talk to you guys about on my Channel all the time I talk to you guys about them because I made a lot of mistakes in my journey and then I teach you how to do it better and so
now I tell you to build projects and do all these things for this exact reason um because you don't want to embarrass yourself like I did um let me get a sip of water real quick I'm just G I'm I'm feeling it today so I get an interview interview goes great um I the next interview was with the CTO who's really interesting um didn't work with him that much but he was just an interesting guy and he was like he seemed like a good fit it was more of a personality hire than it was a
technical hire like they knew that I knew a little bit of excellen Sequel and they could tell but they also knew that I wasn't um I wasn't super technical like they could tell I know they could tell but they liked my personality they liked that I was kind of a go-getter um and so they hired me I ended up working there for uh about one year and I would have stayed a lot longer too I really like the company but my boss Tristan was just amazing um he really mentored me a lot I learned so
much squel from him about store procedures and about automations and you know really complex stuff that I think first years as a data analyst like would not be learning and it was awesome um it was a very small company like 50 people but in my office there was only like 15 we just had a lot of somewhat remote workers and whatnot so of these 15 people um you know it was me and Tristan were like our data people and me and Tristan would work on all of our projects together he mentored me in how to
work with clients and all these things and it was just awesome um so if you can find a mentor highly recommend it um after about a year we started having some problems not work related oh yes work related but uh one day like my paycheck just didn't come in on the first or was it the 15th I can't remember like let's say it's the first so I go in that day I'm like hey HR uh my paycheck didn't come in like what's going on with that and they're like oh that happens sometimes I was like
what do you mean that happens sometimes that should never happen and they're like well you know we only have so many clients and so if this client doesn't pay us we can't pay our employees on time and sometimes they're late y y so I was like okay that's weird so I talked to my wife about it and she's like yeah that's not good she's like what if they lose that client and I'm like that's a good point um well it kept happening happened about two or three times and I was like no absolutely not by
that point we were married uh we had two kids um one from her previous relationship and then one that we had together and I'm like I can't I got a family to feed like I can't like be out of work because they can't pay me like that's not how that that's not it's not how this works so I started looking for other jobs I start applying to other places I get an interview through a recruiter again uh work with recruiters I got a interview through a recruiter to work at this company called aerosur Bergen had
never heard of it but there was a small division or small Department within the company um and uh it really was kind of to my benefit it was very focused on exactly what I knew how to do it worked with claims data it worked with um Medicare data all this data that I was super familiar with and I just got lucky um and they chose me the job was not a full-time job like my previous job it was a contract to hire job it paid a little bit more my job at uh kpn was 63,000
this job was going to pay 78,000 but it was a contract position it wasn't a guaranteed full-time they said at the end of that 6 months if you do well we'll hire you on full-time it was a risk um but at the time it was a well worthwhile risk because I wasn't sure if I was going to keep that job much longer so I you know we took the risk um you know behind the scenes also my wife was not working uh she had gotten let go of her from her company and so we needed
the money we needed a good job a stable job she had gotten a job offer up in Oklahoma for something you know in her line of work and it was more money than I was going to be making it was like a 100,000 and up in Oklahoma it's a low cost of living so we almost took it we actually went up there to look at houses um but I was like I was like Christine you just got to trust me I was like I think I should really do this because I think it has a
good career progression I think I can you know make this and really you know take care of our family so she trusted me um and I'm more powered to her I don't it was a tough decision um but we made it together and so I I kept that job she looked for another job and she um you know eventually found one and so um I take this job and for the first six months I am just working as hard as I can I'm trying to learn everything I possibly can make connections with every person in
there I'm you know learning their systems learning their clients being as helpful as I possibly can um I remember being like I like this is it like I either do this or I gotta find something else because uh I got to take care of my family and so I like just worked as hard as I could um and luckily that position was really well suited to me because a lot of my previous experience at the my previous Healthcare Company worked out great and it was directly um in line and I also got to learn a
ton of new stuff so I got to build up my skills I also got to use a lot of my previous knowledge and so it just worked out really well um and my boss was Al really great her name was uh Sabrina and so Sabrina at the end of that internship was like Alex you've just been killing it she's like we hired you on oh that was another piece they hired me on as a junior data analyst so I went from a data analyst at you know uh um the kpn and I hired on as
a junior data analyst I didn't care about the I just cared about the money at the point time so I was like okay that's fine well once they saw what I could do they saw how hard I was uh as an emplo how hard I worked as an employee they offered me a data analyst to position which was two levels above that um I think I was making I can't remember the exact amount now now it's all all fades together but it was a little under 100,000 it was like 95,000 after a bonus because now
as a full-time employee I got a n was an 8% bonus um and my salary was like 990,000 so it was like 97,000 or something um which was more money than I ever thought I would ever make in my life like no one in my family uh uh I don't think has ever made that much um and so it was just amazing being able to provide that now Dallas is a a little bit more expensive so um you know take that with a grain of salt I wasn't like a millionaire over here but uh I
was I thought my wife was texting me don't want to ignore those um but I definitely thought that I was just doing amazing I was I felt so blessed I felt like I was just killing it and so I worked extremely hard in that position position I kept doing really good work I found things to automate I found you know better ways to do things and I was like really succeeding in that in that role I stayed there for about two years in that role for two years and then um I was like you know
I think I want to try to get into management I just think I'd be a really good manager um side note right when I started that job right after I got hired on full-time I started my YouTube channel that was was back in 2020 so January I think 14th of 2020 was I think the first video I ever recorded and made um and so I so I you know started my YouTube channel right as that was happening after about two years I was like I think I want to uh progress so I started applying to
other companies I started applying internally and um the there was a a job that opened up at it was an analytics manager but it was for Our IT department I don't have any experience in it but I do know our systems really well and so um I told my boss I was like hey boss you know in order to apply to another position by the way you have to notify your boss so I notified her I said hey Sabrina I've just been thinking about maybe looking at like a manager role and she's like go for
it I don't think she thought I was going to actually get the job because the I remember the way she said it she was like oh yeah go for it no problem well I ended up getting an interview and I told her I was like hey I got an interview she's like oh wow that's great again I don't think she actually thought I was going to get offer the job um but I went into the job they really were looking for someone who knew Azure well which that's what I've been using for the past two
years um in with data collection knowledge and I was working on a data collection team so it kind of like all worked out really well they also at that point my channel had like 150,000 subscribers or so and so that got brought up in the interview and they were really impressed with that and my communication abilities and my knowledge um and so after about three interviews they offer me the job my boss was kind of flustered at that point she's like oh gosh I hey I didn't really you know we kind of need you we
like you're really useful and really important on our team she's like let me go back to our team let me see what we can do so they go back and they're like you know we just don't have any open positions that would fit you well we want to make you a project manager or product manager um and keep you on the team but we don't have anything now would you be willing to wait like 3 months and we we will work during those three months to find a position to keep you on the team and
um the pay for the manager position was much higher it was like a 120,000 with a 10% bonus about 130,000 a little more I think it was $132,000 um they couldn't offer me that much my current team because of certain increments that they were allowed to do in budgetary restrictions but they could guarantee it' be like 100,000 now even at that time I still I'm still the main provider for my family so the 30,000 difference or maybe like $25,000 difference between the salaries I was like you know and it wasn't a guaranteed thing they were
like we're going to try to come up with something and so I turned them down I end up taking the manager position um the manager position was a whirlwind it was a lot going on and also turned out not to be my cup of tea and I'll you know talk to that a little bit but my team was awesome I had data Engineers I had uh we had developers we had bi developers we had data analyst and business analyst so I was managing this team and I was hiring and I was firing unfortunately during that
time um and I learned a ton About Management one thing I learned about management is that it's a lot of paperwork a lot of paperwork um and something I didn't really know about myself was that I love building I love to build things and code and create systems and all these things and in the manager position I just didn't get that um at all um and so you know it wasn't perfect but one thing I was really proud of during that time was I was able to get our it Our IT department um to do
something they've been trying to do for many years they hired me on for my knowledge in Azure and they really wanted to migrate to a full Azure system within all of it but they couldn't get a budget approved they couldn't get a proof of concept kind of laid out of how it would all work so the first six months of my manager position that's what I focused on and I was able to get a budget approved I was able to get it pushed through now they're on Azure and it brought in a lot of different
uh data from different ecosystems and it was um not easy but I was really proud that I was able to do that but I during that time I was like management is not for me so um when I got that position I had also just started um Consulting on the side um almost it was 100% because my YouTube channel and like my LinkedIn and stuff like that people would reach out to me and be like hey Alex have you ever thought about making a video for a company I was like no I haven't and they're
like we'll pay you $50 for one video and I was like 50 bucks that's not bad um and then I would make them a video um and so I like kind of I didn't know how to price it or anything and I'll talk more about Consulting in a little while but I started Consulting for all these different companies um and some of them stuck with me and I still work with some of them even today and some of them were just like one-time things and so I got to this point about a year in into
my analytics manager I was like I can either stay a manager and I can keep progressing I could totally see the progression of becoming a director or a senior manager then director senior director CTO CEO I could see that path um I actually think it was pretty clear even within my company how I could have done that but I also could have done it with with it you know outside of my company but I started doing this Consulting thing and I was like wait a second I'm making I'm starting to make good money from this
after about a year I was like I'm making like you know 50 60 70,000 extra dollars on top of that so I was making like $200,000 so I'm like wait a second if I quit my management and I for some context I was only doing that like 10 hours a week um it was not much so I was like if I quit my full-time job and did Consulting full-time wait a second I can make more money than I'm making now maybe even scale that up so um I was just out the and the end of
December of 2022 I was just like I'm over it like I'm just like I management is not my thing at least at this company it was not my thing um too much people managing not enough building and coding actually doing stuff that I liked so I was like you know what I'm going to do it and my wife agreed we talked about it and she was all for it so I stopped I stopped I quit my job full-time and became my own boss I already had an LLC started for you know my YouTube stuff so
I was doing YouTube and Just Consulting um and the Consulting was great I always had people who were needing my services always had people wanting me to promote their products or you know talk at conferences and stuff like that like this is like uh something I never thought I'd be doing but it just worked out well and so all these different data companies for ETL tools for um AI now a lot of AI companies reach out to me um for uh data analytics companies they all are reaching out to me saying hey we want to
sponsor you or we want you to work with us like come and consult with us and so um it was just it just all seemed to be kind of going according to plan excuse me got some water um so it was going really really well so um I started doing my Consulting and or was still doing my Consulting really ramping that up I then had a bunch of clients I was working with at one time and I had all these projects and it was very it was wild and then I had an idea um and
this idea I actually pitched to another YouTuber um and this was at one of our Tech meets I think in Utah so us data YouTubers there's lots of us out there we had a meet up in Utah and when I was there there's this guy named Forest Knight awesome guy go check out his channel he does like soft development just salt of the earth um love the guy I pitch this idea to him I was like What if I create something different I was like I want to make courses but I don't have the time
and I also like companies like leak code that where you can code in the platform but I don't see any companies where there's both and I want to create that and then eventually I want to build out new things that's never been created um and so I had this idea and he's like I think it's a great idea he's like you should do it and I kind of so I kind of ruminated on it I I reached out to like Ken G and a few other people and they were all like yeah you should do
this so I was like all right I'm going to do it so I reach out um I I put some feelers out there for some connections yada y y I get in contact with this guy named kassoon um lives in Sri Lanka and I had met with a lot of other companies about this idea and every single one of them were like yeah we could build that or yeah we've never heard of that but we think we might know how to build it um but they were either crazy expensive I didn't have a ton of
money at the time I'm you know maybe like 50,000 in savings uh and this type of project is not that um at least for the United States and they were like oh it's going to be like 50,000 upfront and then we can see if we can build it it's like a proof of concept I was like I that's all my money that's all of I've saved up over the past like five years of being a data analyst and analytics manager I got kids I can't give you all my money um then kassoon comes along and
he's like he's like Alex he's like this is a great idea he's like I love different competitors like leak code and hacker Rank and all these different companies and I think I know how to build it and he's like and I love the I love the vision so I'm like all right kassoon man let's do it and he's like you know he also knew this was a proof of concept I didn't have unlimited funds so he really worked within my budget um and you know he just the just an amazing guy I'm flying them out
here next summer as well because we're just good friends and business partners and so um it's all really worked out but it took us about a year to build um build out this proof of concept get the designs get the infrastructure and everything built up we launched it and now it's been one year since we launched it um and now we have like I think it's 85,000 users um and so now I'm I now I own this like business where I have 85,000 people who are who have used the platform we have about I don't
know 10,000 or so monthly users who use the platform every month um but now I have a huge customer base and so now I am a YouTuber I have my Consulting that I was doing I am am doing but not as I'm trying to you know not do as much of it because it's very timec consuming and now I have analyst Builder as well as doing you know talks and all these different things and so you know during that time when I was just doing consulting I was doing consulting in YouTube but I was also
paying for the this to be developed and so my funds were like staying pretty stagnant or going down a little um because things cost money and time uh and clients are difficult and getting paid and all that is very complex and I actually did an entire one of these longform talks on Consulting data analytics Consulting where I could go through really in depth of how I did it um types of clients I work with how much money I made all that stuff um but you know that started analyst Builder started taking off and we got
to like 50,000 users in like 6 months and I was like oh my gosh this is doing really well of course I had created full courses for this the questions I invested an immense amount of time into this um but now it's like doing really well and so you know I am trying to scale this up and do Consulting and do YouTube and it's a lot like I am I have no time in my day to waste like when I start working I work and then I work at night once my kids go to bed
and then I sleep for like six hours and I get up and do it again and I was kind of burning out at all ends um and so I was like I got a something has to give and so Consulting was like the lowest hanging fruit the easiest one to give up because it was the most timec consuming so I started not taking on new clients and my older clients I just put them on uh kind of like a retainer I said hey you kind of go on a retainer status or service if you need
me I'm here um and that's worked out really well so now these only about five companies that I work with um I get to kind of work with when they need me and it's not so much work that I can't do analyst Builder and YouTube and a few other things that I do um and so now analyst Builder I'm building that up and now we're starting to expand that um and all through this you know it's kind of been a steady segue up in uh salary so it was about the max when I was a
manager was about 200 with Consulting and doing that and now I've surpassed that I make a you know over 200,000 with analyst Builder and Consulting and YouTube and so um I feel extremely blessed like I I just it's been an it's been a roller coaster um seven years ago if you had told me this is where I'd be would never believe you uh cuz it's just far-fetched and random but I kind of go with the flow like my whole life I've just kind of Gone With the Flow and so who knows where the next even
two years is going to take me I feel like um I can go in so many different directions but analyst Builder is something I plan on doing for the long term growing and building and adding new features and new things and that's kind of my main focus right now um of course YouTube I won't stop making YouTube I love making YouTube videos and talking and just um sharing stories and advice and um tutorials like I just love it I really do love it um and I'm so blessed that I get to do something that I
love for my work and so um that's y you there baby I'm I'm just recording oh okay thought you needed me that's that's my wife she was walking by and that usually means she needs me uh any I'm recording are you talking record yeah this is a live like people are going to see this conversation yeah anyway anyways this is um this this uh format where I do this long style just lends itself to random things happening and so sometimes a dog comes in sometimes my wife stops by and says um but that was my
wife that's Christine um all that being said I've just had a wild journey and a wild ride um and I'm excited to see where the next steps go um if there were any takeaways from this video it would be that um you have to work really hard I I didn't talk I didn't talk a lot about it but when I was working with recruiters and when I was working with um like in those first jobs I was working like really hard I was always reaching out to the recruiters I was updating my resume I was
you know learning new skills um that's a big piece of why I was able to be successful early on um and the job market was pretty good job market isn't as good as it was um so that was a big piece of it and then um when you get into a job learn quickly make relationships those connections are really important um and then figure out what's important to you do you want to go into management do you want to um you know build like me I'm a a builder so now analyst Builder is like something
I can just keep building and building and building and I love that um but find what is important to you because maybe management is your thing and then you can go up and you can be that CEO or CTO in the future um but that would be those would be my takeaways um now we're getting towards the end and uh this is the time where I just usually chitty chat but I always have my vegetable of the day I believe about 3 years ago maybe it's four years ago I did a similar video to this
but it was before my Consulting and analyst Builder and quitting my job and everything I think my vegetable of the month was a jalapeno so in honor of that previous video if you've watched all the way to the end and you learn something or you just want to show that you were here type Jalapeno in the comments below just I'll I'll read through them U just to know that you were here and you were listening um what's going on in my life right now it's almost Christmas uh we're going on a trip to visit my
wife's uh family up in Pennsylvania and we have to drive three children up there so wish me luck um because we're we're in our Minivan and uh oh boy it's going to be a journey but it's going to be cold I hope we get some snow um I didn't I don't know if I'm I think I don't know if I'm my wife's getting me anything for Christmas maybe something small and I don't have anything on my Christmas Christmas wish list it's just getting stuff for the kids you know how it is if you if you're
a parent you get it um I just bought a monitor which is my first monitor I've had in like five years because I just been using laptops so I'm going to set that up after this video so we'll see how it looks um other than that my life's pretty chill I I I'm I'm right now my son's wrestling coach um one of they have like a head coach they have two head coaches because a kind of a big program two head coaches and then I'm one of the assisant coaches so I've been loving doing that
um I've also been some of my kids soccer coaches basketball coaches I like to coach my kids sports make sure they have a good coach you know so anyways that's what I'm doing right now um yeah yeah not much else just work work and spending time with the kids that's my main priorities right now all right um all that being said thank you guys for watching uh I do know that these videos are long so you don't have to watch all the way through but you did because if you're listening to this you did um
and so I really appreciate that I really really do and so thank you guys for listening I'll have more of these where I share other information long form content I hope I made your breakfast trip workout a little bit better and I will see you in the next one
