[Music] [Music] good morning guys today we are leaving Peru sadly I know that seems extremely rushed but I actually have just been making plans to come back here and do some projects this isn't over for Peru I'll be back soon enough but today we have to go to the airport here in Cusco fly to Lima wait and lima for a layover for a bit and then fly to Chile so Chile was kind of always the main country of this trip that we're going to explore so we're going to Chile now goodbye beautiful Airbnb we will
miss you hola Senor gracias gracias Senor we have made it to Santiago we arrived to it like 2:00 a.m. and now we're just going for a little stroll around the city this area we're in is called Bella Vista and the street art here is like some of the nicest street art I've ever seen this pieces like this we're going to keep wondering and we're going to a market so no more talking there's see some action [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] have you got there Joe we've got their kids Oh
humping on this is with mushrooms and that's a like Chilean tradition food yeah kind of yep is it delicious delicious it's a good breakfast for the morning it all right guys so just came to the restaurant here this is just for me but apparently I've got like enough food to feed the whole of Santiago some falafel and Peter fries and a huge salads probably keep me going for a while so we this and then we'll go do some exploring in the market [Music] [Music] okay as you can see from those clips up over a few
local market here it's a nice project just a nice little time exploring this market in Santiago every kind of vegetables and fruits and coffee legacy good - no we're gonna continue walking down we come across [Music] [Music] Oh Sally hi guys so we just come at the market and we can see this like mansion up here and then we're gonna go maybe climb there and should give us a good view of the city the mountains in the distance at a pretty cool market here actually it's got a bit of everything food and then local people
since selling like secondhand things from their houses and everything so anyway let's head up there so that through that window is the line and you can take like a train kind of thing have a look [Music] but we're gonna walk family at six kilometres gonna take us a while six kilometres uphill might be a mission to be worth it with the exercise and the epic view that we will get Joe why have you got bare feet a life like that and your hobbit hobbits yep [Music] [Applause] alright guys so we have made it to the
top you can see from those shots epic location here looking over the whole city of Santiago I think it's some kind of a religious monument same Christi oh I think the name is some kind of a Christian monument here so we're gonna head down now tomorrow though we are heading to pick up a rental car and Joe and I are going on a huge road trip south of Santiago stay tuned for that so we'll cut to that right now and we'll get on the road so 3 2 1 alright guys so we've got the rental
car as the following day we are driving south down the longest country in the world which is chilling we're driving for about three and a half hours today to this nice area by a lake and then we are continuing tomorrow but it feels so good to have that car you know to have a rental car it's just so much more freedom and it's a it's nice to have two people to split the cost between as well so we've got a Joe who's a designated driver for today here we made it alright so let's get this
road trip going [Music] so we've been driving for about three and a half hours now and we actually will I made a mistake I booked an air B&B which I thought was here by the lake but it's actually another like two hours down the road so we thought we'd come and check out the lake anyway on the way and we're going to get this little guy up in the sky and have a look around this area it's a pretty cool little area you can see over here that there's some like paddleboarders and a few kayakers
so yeah we'll fly this and then we'll get back on the road and drive south to our B&B but it's good to get a little bit of action and today [Music] good morning guys it's actually the following morning again because I don't want to bore you too much because basically what we're doing over these few days is just we're trying to smash out like a thousand kilometres trying to get down to the south near Patagonia this part of Chile is still very beautiful very like wine culture and everything but we want to get down to
the big fjords and the mountains and things so this is the Airbnb we stayed in I'll give you a quick look because I don't want to bore you with too many Airbnb s this is our little apartment here nice little place and transit on the way it's also got a bed up the top here so yeah does the job perfect for just a nice transit so anyway we'll get on the road I'm not sure if we'll get too many clips today because I just want to kind of you know get up and go see what
else we can come across on the way maybe but as I say the ultimate goal is to get right down the south so we will jump in our chevy onyx right now and get on the road I'll see you there that would be good what a racket don't try and make y'all comfortable you in truck rolling stopping you for the Brecon lab on me going on away for the record a trial eight notes on away [Music] alright guys it's like eight hours later you know eight hours we've will Joe drove the whole way but we've
arrived here in this city called Porto montt and it's absolutely beautiful it kind of reminds me of New Zealand in a way that's stunning sitting right on like the fjords here it looks kind of like a lake I'll show it to you in a second but it's actually it's part of the sea around this area Joe is absolutely exhausted because there's an absolute legend in just drove for like six years of his life alright I won't bore you too much for the Airbnb here but it's not bad for two people you've got a sofa couch
for somebody to sleep on the double bed for somebody to sleep on nice little balcony here and would you just look at that view absolutely stunning looking over the Andes in the background there I'm gonna get the drone up right now so we can get perspective of this whole place I'm gonna finish the video here guys but I'm gonna show you the drone clips to close the video hope you enjoyed the video lots of driving lots of miles good times to come we're gonna be exploring a lot more of Chile so far Chile's off to
