Loyal love loyal love is one of the most remarkable traits of our father Jehovah and ever since he began to create he's been expressing loyal love towards his Faithful Servants well how do we respond to that well our opening Treasures from God's word will address that we're also going to learn what Anna how she responded to Loyal love And we'll also consider the next lesson in Paul and his travels with Silas what challenges what blessings did he get so to get us started in our Treasures from God's word we're going to ask brother Richards to
come up and he'll cover the theme respond to Jehovah's loyal laugh of all Jehovah's matchless qualities the most dominant quality that he has is love John in writing to first century Christians in a letter that was meant to be distributed to a lot of Congregations put it best he said God is love in other words God is the personification of love but John said it with only three words the psalmist used three parallel thoughts to say the same thing so let's look at that in Psalm 100 and we're going to read verse 5 now if
you're like me during this part on the meeting you'll just click on the link for Psalm 100 and verse5 but try something different this time after You've clicked on the link then click on the other link for the study Bible because you'll not only have the words of Psalm 105 but you'll have them properly formatted as far as Hebrew poetry goes so we're going to read this and see if you can pick out the three thoughts Psalm 100 and verse 5 for Jehovah is good his loyal love endures forever and his faithfulness through all generations
the Bible uses the phrase Loyal love some 477 times 476 of those are in the Hebrew scriptures once in the Christian Greek scriptures the writer of the book of Acts quoted from the Hebrew scriptures and used the same phrase so this is a phrase that has been explained by the Watchtower many times loyal love from Jehovah causes him to attach himself to a individual or to a thing until his purpose towards that Individual or thing is accomplished and so Jehovah God is through loyal love reaching out to not only Mankind in general but also to
persons to individuals but us humans uh who are the recipients of Jehovah's loyal love are not as reliable as he is but we need to show Jehovah that we are responding in a favorable way to his loyal love so our brief discussion tonight is going to focus on How we respond to Jehovah's loyal love so the fact that Jehovah reaches out to individuals implies that he wants to have a relationship with them so what is an appropriate response to that well an appropriate response would be to get to know Jehovah God intimately through a study
of his word the Bible and through having a full share in Theocratic activities activities like attending Meetings like we're doing tonight and having a meaningful share in the Kingdom of evangelizing work when we do this we are going to No Doubt be impressed with everything that Jehovah God does for us as an individual and so a proper response to that is to be grateful so gratitude is a really good response to Jehovah's loyal love just as important as uh doing all that we can to strengthen our relationship with Jehovah it's equally Important for us to
avoid anything that could damage our relationship so what would be an appropriate response in this situation suppose apostates or opposers have slandered Jehovah God or his organization well if you have your Bibles open there to Psalm 100 just skip over to the next Psalm 101 and notice what David's response was we're going to read verse five and this is what David said he said anyone Slandering his neighbor in secret I will silence anyone with hoty eyes and an arrogant heart I will not tolerate so could our response be the same as David's response if David
would avoid those who would slander their neighbor how much more so would we want to avoid those who slander Jehovah and his organization because of their hatred towards Jehovah a hypothetical situation though suppose somebody comes up to you and Asks you the question are Jehovah's Witnesses a cult well you have a decision to make you have to determine whether that individual is sincerely wanting information or if they're slandering Jehovah and his organization a good response would be to just open your device to jw.org type in the word cult in the search bar the first article
that's going to come up is are Jehovah's Witnesses a cult let the Jehovah's organization uh answer that challenge and uh that would be a a really good response to that situation so we want nothing to do with those who slander Jehovah's organization and so we avoid them but there is one more danger that we need to talk about tonight and that is a danger that could damage our precious relationship with our God sadly uh some have been caught up in bad Associations through being overreached by social media maybe Brothers we could put up the image
for this part in social media uh our response to Jehova's loyal love would include our making sure that we do not allow Satan to put before us anything that would damage our relationship with our God again we might do well to imitate David's attitude in this regard if your Bible is still open to Psalm 101 look at verses 2 and three here David resolved I will act with discretion and blamelessness when will you come to me I will walk with Integrity of heart inside my house I will not set any worthless thing before my eyes
I hate the Deeds of those who deviate from what is right I will have nothing to do with them David was resolved to walk with integrity at all times uh did you notice that in verse two he specifically Mentions when I am in my house so David realized that he needed to walk with Integrity all the time when he was alone and when he was around other worshippers of Jehovah this is what the Watchtower observed about verse three of Psalm 101 it said some dangers that we must avoid include flirting heavy drinking overeating engaging in
hurtful speech as well as viewing violent entertainment pornography and similar Things is Satan is very much interested in putting before us these worthless things and he no doubt is happy to use social media to that end we cannot Shield our eyes though from everything as we live in a society that's strongly influenced by the ruler of this world so when some worthless thing an image or an idea gets past our defenses and we're we're presented with it what is an appropriate response well Decisively and immediately we need to reject such things so as to protect
our precious relationship with Jehovah God so to review Jehova has reached out to us as individuals with his loyal love show gratitude for that when apostates slander Jehovah avoid them and when we are presented with ideas or images that we need to uh put away from us respond decisively and immediately uh to to protect your relationship with Jehovah So remember protect your relationship with Jehovah as though it's the most valuable possession that you have because that's exactly what it is thank you very much brother Richards for that very practical information that you shared with us
so next to take us into our gems our spiritual gems and we like this is where you get to share yours we're going to ask brother fle to come up and handle this Part to get our spiritual gem started we ask for a reader for Psalm 1026 um sister fle please in the center I resemble like the Pelican of the Wilderness I am like a a little owl among the ruins thank you for that reading the question is why does the psalmist compare himself to a pelican sister uh Richards please one of the points that
was brought out was that a the Pelican loves To be in a lonely desolate place so that really is a perfect symbol of desolation and how the psalmist felt very good thank you and brother gusterson please other thing is that the Pelican when it's eat when it's digesting its food it sits there like its head all clumped upon his shoulders like it's really glum and really Melancholy uh bird itself isn't feeling that but it sort of looks that way and that's what makes that psalmist was using that Expression to show how he was feeling very
good thank you for those extra details and uh sister basil hope looking at the bird that assumed this attitude for hours like at a time so looking at this inactivity to which the psalmist refers when he Illustrated the pointy of his grief by writing I do resemble the pelicin of the Wilderness very good thank you all right let's open up our gems now with the following question what spiritual gems From this week's Bible reading would you like to share we'll start here with sister St Hill please I appreciate the thought at Psalm 102 ver 12
and 27 which reads you remain forever o Jehovah your Fame will endure all old generation your years will never end the 2014 Watchtower showed how the SAS gained a positive outlook and Viewpoint he shifted his attention to his relationship with Jehovah his he found Comfort in knowing that Jehovah would always be there to support him and support his people through trials so if neor feelings temporarily keep us from doing as much as we would like to do in Jehovah's service the Watchers said to pray about it ask Jehovah to hear our prayers for help also
that Jehovah's name may be declared and held on high Jehovah promises that he will pay attention to the prayers of the destitute and All Peoples will come to Know who Jehovah is very good thank you and sister uh Lopez in the back please Psalm 10212 uh there's a statement that God remains forever it reminds us that he's Eternal so throughout our lives circumstances and people may change but Jehovah is always the same this gives us a sense of stability and confidence good point and sister uh Bradley please Gand I appreciated the words in Psalms 10220
it talked about Jehovah hears the sign of the prisoner and it just reminded me that sometimes we're in situations um where we don't even have the words for how we're feeling but Jehova always acts in behalf of his people we see when the Israelites were literally in prison Jehovah eventually freed them when Jesus was in here on the earth people were in prison religiously speaking he freed them and were also um Prisoners to sin death and he's made arrangements to free us from that so in all circumstances he can help us excellent thank you and
sister uh Roga uh 1013 talks about not setting anything worthless or good for nothing before us so we wouldn't want to become a worthless or a good Forno um thing in someone else's eyes and one way we can that could happen is by the way we dressed with immodest dress so as a Sister we would want to take seriously the Bible's Council to wear well arranged and modest clothing so that we're never a cause for stumbling and a worthless thing that someone needs to set aside from their eyes thank you and brother suriati I really
enjoyed um Psalms 106 101 verse six I will look to the fa faithful ones of the earth so that they may dwell with me the one walking in blamelessness will minister to me I Think this scripture really helps me to understand that when we look or surround oursel with those who walk in in integrity and their service especially like the one the older ones in our congregation or when we meet brothers and sisters worldwide it's such a joy to be able to learn from them and benefit from their experience and in turn it strengthens our
faith towards Jehovah as well very good excuse me and uh brother wi Please uh chapter 102 verse one it says oh Jehovah hear my prayer Let My Cry for Help reach you and that's uh something that when when you're stuck or when you're lonely or you're hurting and you cry for someone and they're not you're not sure if they're there they're not hearing you it's a it's a disheartening feeling I remember being young and my brother and I were out in the woods and he kept walking I started goofing around and I ended up stepping
in quicksand and I'd never been in it before and I'm sinking and I'm yelling for him and he's not coming and what's going to happen here it was just a terrifying thought i' never been in quicksand before and sometimes there's situations we get into in life that feel like we're in quicksand and if we call out we want to know that Jehovah does hear us very good excellent and brother via Pondo we can see in the Christian Christian Greek scriptures like in Galatians talks about Joy one of the fruitage of the spirits is Joy um
there's Philippians 4 talks about joy as well but we can see uh centuries before Jehovah told his servants to be joyful and serving him as well we can see in Psalms 100 verse1 it says shout in Triumph to Jehovah all the Earth and then serve Jehovah rejoicing so uh we see it in the Christian we see in the Hebrew one thing we want to do and make sure is to have joy in serving Jehovah Very good excellent a lot of hands it's excellent very good um uh sister Lopez in the back please there are some
in the world that uh fear that the sun is going to eventually uh burn out and they in Psalms 102 uh 25 and 26 it said the heavens are the work of your hands and they will perish but you will remain so that may lead them to believe that that could be true however what they don't Realize is God's purpose Jehovah has said the heavens and the Earth will remain forever and that's his will and it's because of his power that he continues to sustain them so we can have confidence in our future here and
that Jehovah will always keep his word excellent thank you and sister uh creger please in Psalm 101 ver2 it says I will act with discretion and blamelessness and we know that when discretion is always um Especially positive in a situation if it's um as you can see the psalmist here you know as they're talking it's a distressing situation discretion makes something um from getting worse and we know that true wisdom and discretion comes from Jehovah so we know that um it says Jehovah will make the inexperienced one wise so this isn't necessarily coming from experience
so if we really look to Jehovah um and try to keep gaining more discretion and more wisdom Even negative situations we can make the best of good thank you and brother cosm in Psalms 102:1 it says my days are fading like a shadow and I am withering like green grass so Shadows come and go as the sun rises and sets uh so this scripture is helping us to see that life is short uh if you're a young person it may seem that you have all the time in the world U but if you're older you
know that time quickly passes by so this scripture acts as a good reminder of how Important it is that we use our remaining time wisely drawing closer to Jehovah each day serving him completely and not half-hearted and doing all things for Jehovah and not for ourselves and if we do it will be worth it because we can gain everlasting life on a paradise Earth excellent and uh um brother basil in the back please I was looking at Psalms 102 verse2 and specifically during a time of distress it says there incline your ear But if you
look at the uh if you you click that little subscript bend down and listen and it made me think of people who are more mature adults when a child is talking to you to make them feel comfortable you get down to their level Jehovah does that for us beautiful quality yeah and we have time for one more comment um sister def Francis please and I too I too enjoy um Psalm 100 verse5 where it talks about for Jehovah is good his loyal love endures forever and his faithfulness through all generations so how heartwarming and loving
Jehovah is unlike the world today we know that Jehovah will always has be there for us and he's loyal to us very good thank you all for your beautiful gems thank you brother fle for handling that part for us so before we go into our next part of our Treasures God's word we're going to ask those who have assignments in the auxiliary class you May go to the into the classroom in the back with brother guer will be the chairman back there you might say and those who are in uh Group 13 you may if
there's room you can join there as well along with family and friends so we're waiting for them to go in we'll start to set up uh here in the main Auditorium will be our Bible reading and if you'd like to in your device or your hard copy you can turn to Psalm 102 and and we're going to have Brother Henry Roma but we're going to set up for him first as he comes up a a prayer of the oppressed one when he is in Despair and pours out his concern before Jehovah oh Jehovah hear my
prayer Let My Cry for Help reach you do not hide your face from me in my time of distress incline your ear to me do answer me quickly when I call for my days are Vanishing like smoke smoke and my bones are charred like a Fireplace my heart has been struck down like grass and has withered for I forget to eat my food because of my loud groaning my bones cling to my flesh I resemble the Pelican of the Wilderness I am like a little ow owl among the ruins I lie awake I am like
a solitary Bird on a roof all day long my enemies taunt me those who mock me use my name as a curse for I eat ashes as my bread and I Dr and my drink is mingled with tears because of your anger and your Indignation for you Lifted Me Up only to cast me aside my days are fading like a shadow and I am withering like grass but you remain forever oh Jehovah and your Fame will endure for all generations surely will you will rise up and show Mercy on Zion for it is time to
show her your favor the appointed time has come for your servants find pleasure in her stones and have affection e for even her dust the Nations will fear the name Of Jehovah and all the kings of the the Earth your glory for Jehovah will rebuild Zion he will appear in his glory he will pay attention to the prayer of the destitute he will not despise their prayer this is V for the future generation so that a people yet to be brought forth will praise jaw for he looks down from his holy height from from the
heaven Jehovah views the Earth to hear the sighing of the prisoner to Release those sentenced to death so that the name of Jehovah will be declared in Zion and his praise in Jerusalem when the peoples and kingdoms gathered together to serve Jehovah he prematurely robed me of my strength he cut short of my days I said oh my God do not do away with me in the middle of my life for whose years span all generations long ago you laid the foundations of the earth and the heavens are the work of your hands they will
Perish but but you will remain just like a garment they will all wear out just like clothing you will replace them and they will pass away but you are the same and your years will never end the children of your servants will dwell securely and their off Offspring will be firmly established before [Applause] you wow Henry that was fantastic you had a long reading and you Kept it right at the same Pace right along throughout the entire reading well Henry was working on councel point number 12 warmth and empathy and you know here's what it
mentions in our teaching brochure under show your interest with a kind tone of voice show your listeners that you really care and it was obvious throughout your reading Henry you had a kind tone of voice for us and I love the way you knew that the reading there was Times where it was more distress on the writer but then when you got into talking about Jehovah you came a little more excited about it so thank you excellent job in your reading we appreciate that so next on our apply yourself to the field Ministry we're now
going to go into several hous to- house presentations so sister fony and and sister Reit will start hey how's the yard raking going oh Pretty good you know I can't complain about hard work on a gorgeous day like today oh I know right so what brings you by well my name is Autumn and I was actually just um checking in on those in the community today to see how they were doing oh well that's very nice of you I would say we're doing good actually I you just caught me cuz I'm about to head out
I have a doctor's appointment but I'm out here procrastinating breaking leaves cuz I really hate the doctors a I Know exactly how you feel you know I always um do the same thing when I have to go that's why I can't wait until we don't need them anymore need doctors offices yeah you know did you know the Bible actually describes a time in the near future when nobody will ever say they're sick again nope I can't say I've ever heard that before but wow wouldn't that be awesome yeah you know I've talked to a lot
of people who say the same thing as you I actually have the Bible downloaded here on my phone if you have a minute I could show you that scripture if you'd like sure why not so it's here in Isaiah 33:4 and it says no resident will say I am sick the people dwelling in the land will be pardoned for their error so did you notice how it says no one will ever say that they're sick yeah and where is it that you and I see so much sickness today where don't we see people sick today
I feel like it it's everywhere Right exactly you know but let me show you just one more verse that says um that exactly in Psalms 37 well thank you sister faring and sister REITs for covering that information that nice short but yet powerful presentation there now you were working on under the love people our new brochure there naturalness be observant it was obvious you kind of got the eye contact that you knew what the Individual whether they would respond or not as it mentions in here does the person seem willing to speak with you sometimes
we can sense that just by looking at their facial expressions their body language and then when you knew that you can go right into what it says there maybe introduce a Bible Truth by asking a simple question did you know that and of course the no sickness that would be a powerful thing that we want to share with others It also says Don't Force a conversation with someone who don't want to talk so that's a good reminder for all of us too but thank you we appreciate your beautiful lesson your uh presentation there so next
we're going to have brother Bess and brother weiner it'll also be a house to house and offer a Bible study hey Josh how's it going it's good to see you man I'm I'm all right just barely scraping by you doing all right doing all right I was watching the news this Morning and all the war and stuff and it made me remember I keep meaning to ask you about the dog TS you are you serve oh just reserves but my dad served you know he served in Iraq he came home he survived but I guess
really it's done a lot to him he never really was the same and I guess so many bad memories he just quit wearing them so I like to wear them every day to remind me that it's up to each one of us to make a change cuz something's got to give yeah I totally Agree things are very crazy and something's got to give like you said what do you think's going to actually do the change well we just have to get the government right you know they have to governments have to unite they've got to
be able to make peace yeah we need Unity very badly you there's so much division you no one thinks the same it's it's it's pretty bad um but I think I know who can actually make the change oh yeah so who you voting for can I answer with The scripture uh scripture I mean I guess all right it's in Daniel 2:44 you mind reading it okay so in the last days in the days of those kings the god of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed and this Kingdom will not be
passed on to any other other people it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms and it alone will stand forever so at the end there did you notice what it says would happen to all The kingdoms it says it will crush and put an end to these kingdoms and it would stand forever so it's it's talking about a single Unified Government that God's going to create over the entire Earth what kind of a ruler do you think you'd make well I mean is it going to be any different than what we have
I mean God's just as violent as all the governments that are ruling today I mean he's been In control all along right that is a good question and the Bible answers that too um if you wanted uh we could go over this great Bible course it answers that question it helps with a lot of things um it's completely free interactive videos questions and it's going to help you to see what kind of a ruler God would make um and it'll get help you to get to know his personality one of the things that I really
enjoyed learning about was how Much he hates violence and war is that something maybe you'd be interested in well I mean I don't know if I want to commit to that right now but um I'll think about it and maybe I can text you you got a phone number yeah for sure and um I could send you this video that explains you know why things are so bad um why you know what God's going to do about it why he hasn't done anything um and it also touches on a time when God is going to
undo all the bad that Happened and everyone will finally have peace and people like your dad won't be troubled by all the bad memories they have anymore and maybe if you think you'd like it you could send it to him too all right sure right and um you free this Saturday we could I could come back and we could talk about it yeah you know what that's fine I'll probably be here all right see you then thanks all right thank you brother Bess and the wine wreck now you were working on in Our love people
brochure under empathy and it had to do with think about the interested person so in your case there you had your conversation but you wanted to try to address their his concern his uh in this his father's feelings and how he was dealing with things so it kind of highlights in here uh why does he need to hear the truth was a good thought that we need to consider or how would studying the Bible make his daily life and his future better so in your case You were able to take that experience and then now
introduce to Bible study and what it can do in in the future and help him so thank you very much brother Bess so now we're going to move on to our final apply yourself to the field Ministry there going to be a demonstration sister Albright and sister George and the theme is has the Bible been changed or tampered with hey Candace I know the last time we had lunch our lunch break you had Mentioned you were giving out free Bible studies for September um I just want you to know that I do believe in God
but I just don't know if I can trust with the Bible says like how do you know it hasn't been changed throughout the years yeah that's a valid question since no original Bible writings have been found but thankfully scribes copied and recopied Bible writings for centuries so the Bible's message could be preserved yeah um but how do you know Mistakes weren't made through that copying process like it's kind of like that game of telephone it's like by the end of the person it's normally totally changed yeah I know what you mean um over the years
thousands of ancient Bible manuscripts have been found and some of them do contain differences so mistakes and copying were made but most of these differences differences are minor and don't change the meaning of the text There are a few significant differences that were found but they seem to be deliberate attempts to change the Bible's message and an example of that um in ancient manuscripts God's name Jehovah appears thousands of times but many Bible translations have replaced that name with titles like God or Lord so some translations are more reliable and accurate than others but how
do I know which translation is accurate and how do I Trust in that they know what the original text said yeah those are good questions well you can think of it this way what if a teacher asked 100 students to copy a chapter of a book even if the original chapter was lost you could compare these 100 copies to find the original text because even though each student might make some mistakes it's not very likely that all the students would make the exact same Mistakes okay I see what you mean so when Scholars compare the
thousands of frag ments and copies of ancient Bible books available today they can see where a copyist made mistakes and then determine the original wording that makes sense and these Scholars have seen with all the comparisons that the Bible's original message is basically unchanged which makes sense because if God wants his message to be read and understood Wouldn't it be reasonable to think that he would make sure that the message wasn't changed I mean I mean I guess so God can do whatever he wants yeah that's true if he has the power to create the
universe then he has the power to preserve his word and he's done that for our benefit he really wants us to know him and to know what's in the Bible actually there's a short video that I'd like to show you about this topic I would love to see that video but I think like my break is about to end so could we could I watch it the next time we have break yeah sure okay [Applause] perfect thank you sister ALB Sister George very nicely done explaining your beliefs you're working on study Point number four from
our teaching brochure and had to do with illustrations and the one of the opening paragraphs here says how to do it choose simple Illustrations um use things that are easy and not difficult and that illustration taking a chapter of a book picking a hundred students copying it and then comparing them all even if the original is lost very easy for us to understand but very powerful to capture the point of how Bible translations can give us what's accurate today so we thank you for that and we appreciate your excellent talk there so now this is
going to take us into our Next session living as Christians we're going to hear from Brother goby as he handles the part I cling to you you hold on to me Jehovah loves his people and we love Jehovah it's our loyal love that moves us to serve him to the best of our ability but what happens when we suffer loss or when experience change in life what will we do then with the theme of this part it provides us an answer I cling to you you Hold on to me this was a theme of an
encouraging talk delivered to students of the 150th class of the watar Bible School of Gilead let's watch as brother Mark mayor discusses this beautiful example of Anna what she suffered the loss the unexpected change how she was determined to serve Jehovah to the best of her ability and we'll also see how we can imitate her loyal love afterward we'll get your comments on a few select questions in this Talk we want you to understand the sustaining power of of loyal love because it is this quality loyal love and its power that will help you face
future trials and challenges with confidence in Jehovah well you perhaps remember the definition of loyal love from a written review but it's this it is love motivated by a strong commitment and a deep attachment and here's how King David Described loyal love that existed between him and Jehovah he said at Psalm 638 I cling to you your right hand keeps hold fast on me now this is loyal love I cling to you you hold on to me now in the first century a woman a woman who set an outstanding example of clinging to Jehovah is
Anna how so let's find out we open our Bibles to Luke chap 2 we're going to read verse 36 and 37 and see what lesson We can learn and apply to you now there was a prophetess Anna the daughter of fuel of Asher's tribe this woman was well along in years and had lived with her husband for S years after they were married and she was a widow now 884 years old she was never missing from the temple rendering sacred service day and night with fasting and supplications well here we have it everything we know
about Anna is right here Luke recorded it she was 84 years Old when Luke introduces her to us likely she hadn't lived long enough to become a follower of Jesus Jesus to be Anointed with Holy Spirit or to enjoy preaching the Good News of the Kingdom that's it if we stop right there but what if we don't what if we dig deeper what will we learn that will help you well let's do that Anna was born about 86 BCE when she was 23 years old Jerusalem was filled with violence and divisions Jewish leaders such as
the macbes were at War Roman forces under the leadership of a soldier named pompy came to restore order and in the process some 12,000 Jews reportedly died it is possible that Anna's husband was one of these victims then when Anna was 47 years old the Romans appointed Herod as King of Judea Herod this man was not a descendant of David he was not even an Israelite he was an Edomite the were sworn enemies of true worship now on top of that the hypocritical Jewish religious leaders made life hard for people including widows like Anna so
now Anna watches as Jehovah's House of Prayer the place she cherished became a cave of robbers pure worship is withering on the vine what will Anna do she could have Been stumbled she could have reasoned I supported true worship all my life I believe the Messiah would come and the prophecies would come I go to the temple every day I've done everything right but things have only gotten worse God lets my husband die an Edomite is rebuilding the temple what's happening has Jehovah left us should I leave too Anna could have given up walked away
became bitter but she Didn't why why it was the roots of her loyal love that sustaining power of loyal love it went deep and it wrapped around Jehovah and she had the power to keep clinging to him under those circumstances Anna was determined to serve Jehovah to the best of her ability what did she do again looking at verse 37 she was never missing from the temple She was in the right place rendering sacred service day and night doing the right thing with fasting and supplications with the right attitude she was doing the right thing
in the right place with the right attitude nothing could stop this seemingly fragile servant of God from clinging to her closest friend Jehovah in effect Anna was saying I cling to you Jehovah and her loyal love was noticed chapter 2 and: 38 it reveals that Anna was was present when the baby Jesus was brought to the temple and when she saw that baby what did she begin to do in verse 38 it says she be she came near she began giving thanks to God speaking about the child to all who are waiting for Jerusalem's Deliverance
can you sense her Joy Can You Feel The Joy she had at seeing and Perhaps even holding that little baby the future Messiah this was something that this elderly woman had never expected in her lifetime the child in front of her was proof tangible proof concrete evidence that Jehovah had not abandoned his people and he did not abandon Anna so not only had Anna clung to Jehovah Jehovah held on to her and And rewarded her this is loyal love and his faithful record is so well known that some 50 years later 50 years later or
so Luke was compelled to write about her where did Luke get his information who did he talk to did he talk to Mary interview her or some of the older ones there was this woman Anna she was at the temple she would never leave we don't know but what we do know is that Jehovah Inspired Luke to record and to document her life in his word so that we could be taught lessons and here we are some 2,000 years later and we are using her life as an example of commitment and unbreakable Integrity for you
students to imitate so what can you learn from Anna's example you may suffer loss of one kind or another you will come face to face with the imperfections of others your Feelings may get hurt and you might find yourself coping with an unexpected change in your life that is not pleasant or you may feel that you're a victim of an injustice or a serious misunderstanding from within the organization what will you do this is what you will do you will cling to Jehovah and you will experience him holding on to you you cling to him
he holds on to you for Example I recall a time when a brother serving in a foreign field due to a misunderstanding lost of his privileges as an elder and he felt the decision was unfair he was deeply hurt but his wife he and his wife never stopped clinging to Jehovah and their spiritual routine then at a regional convention a brother approached him and thanked him for the talk that he he gave on the Program well he volunteered in the cleaning department but he hadn't given a talk then the brother I said to this former
Elder when I see your smile and positive attitude yes you gave a talk and it was on loyalty and it was loud and clear so the former Elder now relates the experience taught me and my wife that every challenge or Misfortune does not need to represent a threat to our Spiritual well-being we've come to view rejection failure or being misunderstood as normal episodes in the lives of competent healthy people instead of being crushed we grew you see the couple looked beyond their hardships and they clung to Jehovah how by imitating Anna they were never missing
from true worship in the right Place rendering sacred service day and night doing the right thing with fasting and supplications and sometimes those supplications in involve tears but with the right attitude and Jehovah held on to them and never let go the brother is still serving in the foreign field he's an elder again and giving memorable talks so what do we want you to remember from this talk We want you to remember this when you come face to face with future trials and you will or challenges in your life and you will this is what
happens in life be in the right place do the right thing with the right attitude by doing this you declare Jehovah I cling to you and I trust you hold on to me what a beautiful talk so we have a couple questions question Number one how did Anna show loyal love brother Fisher Anna displayed a strong attachment to Jehovah even though she was well along in years and even despite all the challenges she faced nothing could stop her thank you and brother Ramirez well right off the bat she was 100% loyal from what we read
about her but during her time we found out that things haven't always been so easy as we Find out she's lost her husband and the kingdom is being ruled by a sworn enemy of true worship but despite all the hard times she stayed with Jehovah having deep roots in her heart to stay connected to the source of true love excellent comment and sister brick heisen and also we we see here in Luke uh the account that she was 84 years old but even though she was old in age and have gone through a lot and
been waiting for JE Jehovah's Deliverance um she was Still never missing from the temple she never lost that joy that attitude that waiting attitude and even though when she saw Jesus as a baby she wasn't like now I'm old and now Jesus is born so she was she did not had the attitude she was very says she was giving thanks to Jehovah because that delivering was coming excellent and maybe one more sister Pitman and and so we learned from that she was um in the right place rendering Sacred service um and she always was never
missing at the temple she was doing the right thing um and also she did it with the right attitude with fasting and supplication and so um as um was mentioned she um was there at the temple when Jesus was there as a baby and so when she clung to Jehovah he clung to her as well and showed and rewarded her in that special way beautiful so now we have Anna in mind our final question how can we imitate Her example sister roses no matter what challenges or um problems come in our life we need to
cling to Jehovah like Anna never missing from the right place of our true worship to God beautiful comment thank you and brother def Francis and the the three items highlighted there uh that sister Pitman um alluded to the the right place the right thing and the right attitude it takes action and attitude so it's not Just doing the action with a bad attitude and it's not you know doing nothing s sitting at home and doing nothing with a good attitude we we we need the whole package good very good let's see sister Marte so if
we cling to Jehovah with everything we have no matter what happens whether it's good or bad in our journey during the time we serve Jehovah we'll have Anna Attitude thank you and one final comment let's go with brother sister keki next to the Costa chicks and I love the point that we can work on that attitude right now it's not until that once that trial comes that we work on it but it's something we can prepare for so that we don't see these perceived injustices or trials in life as something so out of the ordinary
but We're ready and prepared to have that right attitude beautiful your comments reflect on loyal love so reflect on your loyal love we reminded it helps to be in the right place doing the right thing with the right attitude and when you do this you reflect upon your loal love it helps you to declare to Jehovah I cling to you you hold on to me thank you brother goosby for handling that part then we do our Bible reading and we watch those video clips and we Get to that video clip of Anna we can add
a little bit more to the treasure that we've just picked up on there for that so next we're going to give our attention to brother Morales and his reader is going to be brother lucus and they're going to take us into our congregation Bible study we going to begin another chapter in our bearing witness book so we'll give our attention now we like to welcome you to our congregation bible study this week we'll Be discussing chapter number 17 he reasoned with them from the scriptures now if you'll recall last week in chapter 16 we followed
Paul and his Travelers uh through Philippi and they faced a little bit of trouble a little bit of persecution um but they didn't leave there uh too upset they were able to encourage the brothers and they also were able to help legally establish the good news but now we pick up as they Continue their Journey so again as was mentioned we have brother lucis here who will read with us uh we're going to be focusing though on how Paul reasoned from the scripture so as as we develop our lesson try to see how you can
follow that example and how Paul used the scriptures and reason from them so we'll begin with the reading of paragraphs number one and two the well-traveled road built by skilled Roman Engineers cuts through the Rugged mountains sounds along the road occasionally mingle the brain of donkeys the clatter of chariot wheels on the thick flagstone and the clamor of travel ERS of All Sorts likely including soldiers merchants and Craftsmen three CRA three companions Paul Silas and Timothy are traveling more than 80 miles along this road from Philippi to thessalonica the journey is far from Easy particularly
for Paul and Silas They are nursing the wounds they received in filippi where they were beaten with rods how do these men keep their Minds off the long miles that lie ahead conversation surely helps still freshen their minds is the thrilling experience they had when the Jailer back in Philippi and his family became Believers that experience has made these Travelers even more determined to continue proclaiming the word of God however as they approached the coastal city of thessalonica they may wonder how the Jews in that City will treat them will they be attacked even beaten
as they were in filippi thank you for that reading so we set the stage here and we have the question who are journeying from Philippi to thessalonica and what might be on their minds so let's take uh sister fle leadis Please Tom and Timothy you got all three and sister Morales please pton Paul Silas and Timothy are traveling more than 80 miles to thessalonica so they were nursing the wounds they received in Philippi where they were beaten with rods very good so long walk and a lot to think about right let's take a comment from
um brother Chandler brother augustson please it's very interesting to think About the fact that they walk in for 80 miles with bruises from on their backs so that's probably extremely difficult every single movement they make is uh brings about a terrible ache in their body so that might have been a constant reminder to them like uh are we going to experience this when we get to thica are we going to be beaten once again so that was probably a fear that they had on their minds very good definitely on their Mind can we s take
sister Hawkins please we just finished that beautiful part about loyalty we cling to Jehovah he will cling to us so here they had gone through a very difficult time but as they're walking they are reflecting on that beautiful experience they had with the Jailer how he and his whole family um became worshippers of Jehovah and followers of Jesus so even though they have been through a difficult time they focused on the positive excellent Excellent so let's take that a little further how can we uh imitate that example right is it always easy to forget about
the bruises and think about the good experiences uh brother Kasich please traven in the back no I was just thinking about our territory here sometimes it could be challenging it's it's uh worked often and and there's not a lot of it at times but those could be we could consider Those bruises but how how do we keep going so we have a beautiful example to follow and understanding that no matter the bruises Jehovah is still with us Clinging On to us thank you and uh brother laugh Denny please but even along with our bruises we
have good experiences we experience blessings we see the blessings of our congregation in this case it was just what did they choose to focus on excellent yeah very good so that was a Little pause for reflection for my myself focusing on the good experiences right it's not always easy to do but certainly that's what what Paul and his companions were doing there let's move on and we'll have the reading of paragraph three Paul later made his feelings known in a letter he wrote to the Christians in thessalonica although we had suffered first suffered and been
insolently Treated in Philippi as you know we mustered up boldness by means of our God to tell you the good news of God in the face of much opposition Paul thus seems to suggest that he had misgivings about entering the city of thessalonica particularly after what happened in Philippi can you emphathize with Paul do you ever find it a struggle to proclaim the good news Paul relied on Jehovah to strengthen him to help him muster up the boldness he Needed studying Paul's example can help you do the same okay so we get some insight as
to how Paul would have been feeling from first Thessalonians there feel free to bring that out in your comment please how can Paul's example in mustering up boldness to preach be useful to us today can we have uh brother Krueger please um if we rely on Jehovah we and use boldness just like Paul did um we can have a successful Ministry Absolutely uh brother Reitz thinking at times when we're at work and our workmate is uh saying something that we you know we could speak up and and share a scripture with them but we may
be nervous we might be scared well I work with him every day what if he says no or if he's I rate uh or if we're at school and we're in a classroom and a subject comes up and do we Shi away and not speak up or do we have boldness like Paul did and rely on Jehovah and when we do those things even though it can be a struggle we'll see a blessing uh if we do that absolutely thank you for that uh while you're up there sister Austin please and here Paul had experienced
this very traumatic event being beaten and thrown into jail but then he'd experienced a miracle a divinely inspired Earth earthquake that had freed him yet he like I said he still may have had misgivings about entering this this New territory um despite that he he had to dig deep rely on Jehovah and actually muster up that boldness so if we're finding some aspect of our ministry to be a challenge we can use this example not to be too hard on ourselves and to get discouraged and think we don't have what it takes we can imitate
Paul and muster up boldness absolutely thank you yeah Paul it didn't come natural for him either uh sister Roga Please I appreciated how Paul said we mustered up boldness by means of our God so here he humbly acknowledged that the boldness came from Jehovah not his own Inner Strength because we can actually see how Paul was truly feeling about this situation because right before he said that he was focusing on how they were instantly treated so he was no doubt feeling doubt about this next or apprehension so he knew he needed Jehovah's strength so it's
just a good Lesson for us that despite our own personal feelings um with Jehovah's help we can't have boldness absolutely thank you for bringing that out uh sister Morales please even if Paul was nervous about preaching because of what happened to him last time when he was beat up and thrown in jail he didn't stop preaching because he relied on Jehovah excellent thank you again for bringing out that Reliance on Jehovah um sister laugh Danny please that word although he uses it it could be however but even though in spite of the fact in spite
of the fact that I was beaten here I am I'm going I'm going forward so whenever we run into anything in the um in our territory in spite of that we're going to keep on preaching excellent thank you so much and thank you friends for bringing it home because certainly we Can imitate those examples well let's let's move on we're going to move on to our next paragraph but before we do uh perhaps we can have a reader so we're going to focus again on he reasoned from the scriptures and if we could have a
reader for acts 17 uh verses 1 to3 Sister Walker please Mercy they now traveled through Anis and Apollonia and came to thessalonica where there was a synagogue Of the Jews so according to Paul's custom he went to he went inside to them and for three sabbaths he reasoned with them from the scriptures explaining and proving by references that it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from from the dead saying this is the Christ this is Jesus who I am proclaiming to you thank you so much sister Walker for that reading so
we're going to really dig into these scriptures and we'll do that by Beginning our reading of paragraph number four the account tells us that while in thessalonica Paul preached in the synagogue for three sabbaths does this mean that his visit to the city lasted just 3 weeks not necessarily we do not know how soon after his arrival Paul first went to the synagogue further Paul's letters disclose that while in thessalonica he and his companions worked to support themselves also during His stay Paul twice received Provisions from the brothers in Philippi so his stay in thessalonica
was likely somewhat longer than 3 weeks thank you so using the cited scriptures we'll get a little background as what was happening here in Acts 17 and the question is why is it likely that Paul spent more than 3 weeks in thessal thessalonica Sister basil please hope looking at Paul's letters he just Quotes that while there no l so he and His companion work to support themselves so during his stay there and Pa twice received from the BS that FP by okay that that took some time no doubt thank you hope uh brother vondo please
yeah we can see that in first and second Thessalonians um the ones that are cited here we can see that Paul said he toiled night and day so he wouldn't be a burden to the brothers so we could See that he had to probably work many days many times just to support himself I mean here today we might have to work several weeks just to pay for rent and for our groceries and that sort of thing Paul had to do the same as well okay again lends to the the time period that he would have
likely stayed there right all right well that gives us some good background and let's continue on into paragraph number five having up having mustered up Boldness to preach Paul spoke to those assembled in the synagogue according to his custom he reasoned with them from the scriptures explaining and proving by references that it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead saying this is the Christ this Jesus whom I am proclaiming to you note that Paul did not stir seek to stir up the emotions of his listeners he appealed to their
minds he knew that those who attended the synagogue were Familiar with the respect were familiar with and respected the scriptures what what they lacked was understanding Paul therefore reasoned explained and proved from the scriptures that Jesus of Nazareth was the promised Messiah or Christ thank you so the question for five in what way did Paul seek to appeal to people interesting method he chose brother Lopez please often we'll see in for example Political advertisements they'll appeal to emotions rather than logic and reasoning however Paul here did not seek to stir up the emotions of his
listeners as the paragraph says because he proved by references that was necessary for the Christ to suffer thank you very good brother weinrich please and Paul took time to get to know his audience he knew that they already because they already knew the scriptures Well it they weren't lacking knowledge that they had but what they lacked was understanding and so by taking time they got to he was able to show them who Jesus was that he was from Nazareth he was the Christ and so then now they were able to form and prove to themselves
excellent yep brother Bradley please no doubt Paul's method took some forethought on his part knowing that if he were to lean on the emotion that it Would have unfavorable uh consequences uh knowing the past of the Jews and their tendency to flare up and their tendency to lean on emotion he knew the most effective way to reach their hearts was to start with their mind and so no doubt having prayed about it and thought about it uh he knew that he could take a path that would be the most effective rather than what he probably
has seen in the past and the bad results that path resulted In very good now that that term proving by references what does that mean if you had a chance if you turn to your Bible to acts 17:3 and then you click on the study note and your study Bible it kind of outlines it didn't anyone notice what it brought out there oh sister bule well the Greek word uh for that expression literally means to put alongside or place beside and that could imply that that Paul carefully compared The Messianic prophecies in the Hebrew scriptures
with the events of jesus' life so showing that Jesus had fulfilled those prophecies right right a good good side by side for sure uh let's take a comment on Zoom we have uh sister Winslow please yes and um referring to what you were just asking about brother that Paul Paul used the scriptures to explain and prove by references even an easy way and I was just glancing at the hard copy and Looking at the marginal on on those two just on the two expressions explaining improving by references there are eight or 10 cross references there
to the Hebrew scriptures Psalms and Isaiah particularly that Paul could have and probably did use as references to prove that Christ was the Messiah excellent so you can start imagining in your mind what that would have been like uh to be a fly on the wall as Paul taught uh brother Coell along with that careful approving of like the side by-side comparison I like the study note in verse two what it talks about reasoning and that what the Greek verb means U when talking about how Paul reason it says to engage in an interchange of
speech to converse to discuss so it's an interaction with people so it wasn't just a Paul reciting the facts showing them you can see clearly how he's this from this this this and it was just a talk a speech This was an interaction with the people so his reasoning ability was closely linked with not just his knowledge of the scriptures but his ability to touch people and to reach Hearts so not being completely devoid of emotionless because the scriptures can evoke emotion but he appealed to people's sound reasoning and and did so in a way
that made them feel part of the conversation and not just spoken at excellent yeah one final comment um sister gosm is that correct Yeah all right so basically instead of having a I know something you don't know attitude he came to them and just helped them connect what they already knew in a kind way excellent so we're going to take all that in we're we're we're thinking about our ministry right but before we ask questions on that we'll we'll look at our next paragraph and take it a little further uh paragraph 6 Paul followed the
standard set by Jesus who used the scriptures as the basis for his teaching during his public Ministry for example Jesus told his followers that according to the scriptures the son of man must suffer die and be raised from the dead after his resurrection Jesus appeared to his disciples surely that alone would show that he had spoken the truth yet Jesus gave them more concerning what he said to his certain disciples we read starting with Moses and all the prophets He interpreted to them things pertaining to himself in all the scriptures with what result the disciples
exclaimed were not our hearts burning within us as he was speaking to us on the road as he was fully opening up the scriptures to us thank you so how did Jesus reason from the scriptures and with what result sister St Hill please as you count there in Luke 24:32 uh refers to Jesus and disciples talking were not our hearts burning with Within us as he was speaking to us the uh Study Bible brings out that this is metaphorically used this expression to describe strong emotion and the emotion here was joy and pleasure of what
would they were learning from Jesus what he was explaining to them and the uh enthusiasm that they had from what he was teaching to them uh energized them and it described the reaction of the disciples when Jesus was fully opening up to them all the truth that they need Needed to understand so they were Overjoyed they were enthusiastic they were happy and that's how we are when we understand God's word and the slave teaches us something new we're happy we're enthusiastic we're Overjoyed absolutely some powerful teaching right um up front here sister laferty please yes
and at that time he drew uh connections back to when he had told them before he died that he was going to have to suffer and die that this was Scriptural it came from there were scriptures in Psalms and in Isaiah that he Shar he must have shared with them according to Matthew 16:21 because he he helped them to he was trying to help them see it and they didn't really get it fully until what Theodora was talking about he came back and he made their hearts burn with the connections that he drew for them
from the scriptures excellent so we see the power of that reasoning from the scriptures sister Luc Please right there to your right and I was just going to say a small point that any good teacher knows what their students know so they they meet them where they are and and uh Jesus did the same thing that he stirred or Not Jesus Paul did the same thing by staring with Moses and all the prophets so he met his audience where they were and then built on their knowledge very good is that sister faring Yes and I
love the connection that it makes when um the two disciples said we not our hearts burning within us as he was speaking to us on the road so often times we put so much emphasis on ourselves when we read a scripture or share a Bible truth that oh maybe we didn't read it right or we didn't explain it right but Jehovah makes sure that those whose hearts are rightly disposed once they hear the truth it does touch their heart and that really Means something something to them very good so again let's let's take it to
our ministry and see how we can use that probably not always are we going to find someone at the door that we can start with Moses go through the prophets explain Jesus coming we don't always have that time right so so balance is needed but what kind of situations can you see yourselves reasoning on the scriptures like Paul did and like Jesus did in your Ministry sister WI well today everyone's touched by let's say what's going on in the world so just by reading 2 Timothy 1-5 and having them relate that these last days are
critical and how did Paul talk about that 2,000 years ago and we're feeling those effects now and to then take them to what the hope will be very nice I see a side by side there right modern day and what what was foretold brother divine Jesus Jesus repeatedly told his disciples I'm going to suffer die and come back from the dead and he did and he could have said see I told you so and left it at that and used his own words to encourage them but instead he went back to the scriptures so we
have to be conscious in our ministry don't do too much talking let the scriptures do the talking so get to the scriptures as soon as you reasonably can after the conversation's going Absolutely thank you for that brother Roga please just in line with that same thought I mean when you compare what Jesus did in terms of explaining those basic things suffer die be raised when Paul was explaining things what does he say the exact same thing why they he you know explaining why Jesus suffered why he had to be raised so in other words there's
nothing new here it's not like we need to create some crazy great outlines so I've got this way of reaching people's hearts now it's already here it's already been done before we just need to imitate it excellent and one final comment sister gosm right here and of course to not give the wrong impression we want to keep it simple and make use of illustrations um I was just thinking like with creation we come with that a lot especially in Arizona um every house is constructed by someone but God constructed all things just keep It simple
what their appetite and go on don't overflood them like we have the knowledge we want to make sure it's God that gives them the knowledge absolutely so yeah depending on the circumstance we can be brief and use the scriptures if it's a study or a return visit we might have more time but we use the scriptures we we show those references will be effective right let's move on to our final paragraph number seven the message of God's word has Power Christians today thus base their teaching on that word as did Jesus Paul and the other
Apostles we too reason with people explain what the scriptures mean and provide proof of what we teach by opening the Bible to show householders what it says after all the message we bring is not ours by using the Bible liberally we help people to discern that we Proclaim not our own ideas but the teachings of God additionally we do well to keep in Mind that the message we preach is solidly founded on God's word it is completely reliable does knowing that not give you confidence to share the message boldly as did Paul thank you so
much for your fine reading brother lucies our question for seven why is it important to base our teaching on the scriptures we'll take a comment on Zoom Brother Rice please the scripture there in Hebrews 4 verse 12 says the word of God is alive and Exerts power so as Jehovah's people we certainly want to use the Bible in our ministry and that helps them to see that it's not our message or our thoughts that we're conveying but it's God's word and it exerts power it can cause people if the Bible truths all in good Hearts
it can cause them to make complete changes and bring their lives into harmony with God's will so knowing this gives us confidence that what we teach others is reliable and can actually help Others gain everlasting life very well said thank you brother Rice uh sister Kasich SEL please I had an experience in service where a woman I found out the door didn't believe in the Bible CU her priest told her that she was not loved by God cuz she was born with the heart disease so I simply asked her well what scripture did he use
when he condemned you like that he said well I didn't he didn't use any Scripture said exactly that's go that's Not God's thinking that's that's man's and it's a perfect example that no matter what thinking we get from man it's always going to prove us to be wrong but with God's thinking we can't go wrong so hopefully with the right correcting from the Bible stand point maybe she can start her own relationship with Jehovah wow thank you Sirah appreciate that uh sister fle leani and going along with brother Rice's comment on Hebrews 4:12 at the
End it says it's able to discern thoughts and intentions of the heart so a simple scripture that we use in the ministry can really um open up a conversation naturally and see their true intent itions very good how about a thought on how it makes us feel that second part that was brought out our confidence uh sister Marte please well when we help others see what the Bible says it helps us feel better when they accept the truth and one of The ways that we can do that is by opening up the Bible so they
can see it for themselves very good sister maresi please and also when we use the Bible liberally in service we reaffirm Jehovah's teachings in our own heart and so that helps us to be more solidly founded on God's word absolutely thank you brother brisen Dan and so when um Jesus was expounding to his disciples their hearts were Burning and we um we see the example of that even through the governing body to us when uh they change maybe something that uh is clarified uh your your eyes are opened you're really attentive and you're like wow
that just makes complete sense and so um using the Bible to to show we get a little bit of that feeling even ourselves very good so friends thank you so much for all your comments we C certainly have a lot to to meditate on Paul's example encourage the boldness he was able able to muster up after beatings and persecution we talked about how we can use that in our ministry we we have to muster up boldness and courage at times whether we're at school at work or in the ministry uh to give a good witness
so A beautiful example there and then of course as we look through Paul uh the other Apostles Jesus the way that they reasoned using the scriptures and References what a powerful tool that we can use in our ministry we look forward to our continued study in this lesson as we see Paul continues on his travels thank you very much brother Morales and brother lucidus for handling that final part of our meeting so what did we learn what's our good review for us well loyal love it endures forever but we need to fully benefit in order
to fully benefit from Jehovah's loyal love we need to maintain our Friendship with our father Jehovah we need to avoid anything that could possibly damage that well our eyes were opened a little bit more to Anna I cling to you you hold on to me the talk from Brother num wasn't that beautiful how it deepened our feelings for what she might have been through for her entire life but yet Jehovah was with her our students they used naturalness warmth and empathy really to show how Much we can love the ministry love those we talk to
and our illustration they are effective yes they can convince someone and then finally in our congregation Bible study motive content and Method Paul used was very effective in his teaching he reasoned from the scriptures so what do we look forward to next week well our theme will be reasonableness are we reasonable do we Know our limitations so we look forward to information that'll be covered on that now those are have parts for next week are sister win sister maresi uh Sophie bogz cinnamon beam brother Diego Julio uh brother gon Chandler and also sister Ellison just
Sony Guston Megan Morales and Regina Turner and be house Ben house so that'll be for next week's assignment hello again everyone welcome back to our Channel thanks for joining Us in today's video we're going to be discussing the treasures from Gods we talk for the week of October 21st to 28th 202 before so friends we welcome you and now let's dive in so we want to start this talk with an interesting story about a man he was fishing a fisherman and he was there trying to get some fish but in a certain moment he realized
that there was a dolphin cut in a fishing net and a Fisherman Ned it but you know what he did he helped the dolphin by freeing it from the net and guess what few minutes later the dolphin appeared and he the dolphin was there with a fish in its mouth as a sign of gratitude to the man so this story teach us important is to be grateful gratitude with Jehovah many many times we been cut in a Net of the Sy of Things N of sin and Jehovah kindly be been freeing freeing us from the
net of the system of things but now the main question do we have the custom to say thank you to say thanks to God this is really important there are some people and they think it's not really important to say thank you and the Bible is warning us that a characteristic of people of these last Days is this one they won't say thank you and gratitude and grateful people but on the other hand we notice that giving thanks to God is one of the recurring themes of of the scriptures The Inspired pen man often express
the idea of giving thanks to God are menion of His holy name it seems like such an ordinary thing to do to Express gratitude for benefits received but there is no doubt is really significant being Grateful it will make the difference actually now let's think for a moment what about you do you view yourself as a grateful thankful person that is a question for each of us to consider the scriptures for told that in our time many people would be unthankful you have likely met some who feel entitled to everything they have as if most
things were Ed to them seems they feel that they don't need to Be grateful for what they receive have you find that it's unpleasant to be around such people on the other hand in contrast Jehovah's servants are told show yourselves thankful we are to give thanks for everything May many times we ask people at the field service what do they think is Jehovah's will but the scriptures are clear being grateful is Jehovah's will that's what we read in the Bible First Thessalonians and Colossians Apostle Paul says this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus
give thanks for everything so it's not just a matter of good manners it's a Biblical commandment and that's a fact that the psalm is recognized if we take a look of the scripture at Psalm 105 we read this scripture for Jehovah is good is loyal love endures forever and his faithfulness through all Generations many people today they don't think God is good actually they used to blame God because of their tragedies but that's not fair enough actually life is cast and consequences and many times they are acting in such way and when they got their
consequences of their actions they are blaming God so that's not fair enough but it's really important to cultivate a strong love for Jehova that's the key your love for Jehovah is a beautiful quality the very best you have strong love for God can help you to face life's challenges successfully the Bible often refers to Jehovah's loyal love for his servants this is a strong attachment that never quits never lets go as we read at Psalm 105 and there is an interesting point start with gratitude might change our life drastically in a positive way of course
each day ask your s how has Jehovah Shown Lial love to me instead of take his blessings for granted we make sure to thank Jehovah in our prayers mentioning specific things that he has done for us now think for a moment how many things you could say thank Jehovah thank you Jehovah each day now imagine how many things per week per month and please don't think that he's going to be tired of listening hearing Your thanks for your blessings see his acts of love as a personal as personal directed to you as an individual just
as the Apostle Paul came to realize this about Jehovah he recognized that was a personal love from Jehovah but he is writing this in a personal way he didn't say God loves us he said God loves me in a personal way so that's a beautiful thought beautiful statement and we we must be honest and ask Ourselves ask yourself do I want to show him my love in return love for Jehovah will help you to keep resisting Temptations and to face challenges with success it will move you to hold on to your spiritual routine consistently showing
your love for your father day by day and you'll see the difference in your life okay friends that's a WRA for this video we want to say we want to say thank you thanks for joining us we hope You have a wonderful day be safe and thanks again and see you next time bye for now
