much for all your support all right with that being said let's get started so first things first head over to Zoho landing page now I've linked to this page page in the video description below but from here you could sign up for your free account and that's one of the many reasons why I love Zoho landing page they give you a 15-day free trial no credit card required so that you could test all the features of the Platform before making a purchase and this is more than enough time to get acquainted with everything that they
offer so that you could see whether or not it's going to be a good fit for you and your business now really quick before we dive in I just want to take a closer look at the Plans offered so that you can get a better idea of what's included in the Zoho landing page so as you can see Zoho offers a wide range of plans which entail the essentials Professional and Enterprise plans and I must say that out of all of the landing page Builders I've used in the past Zoho is the most affordable and
stands up to some of the other major brands out there in terms of features offered and as you'll see in a few moments the Zoho Dragon drop landing page builder comes with a wide array of professional features analytics and AI enhancements to help any business improve their conversion rate and grow and again the Affordability here can't be understated for as little as $23 per month build annually you can get started with their Essentials plan and gain access to a ton of great features you also have the ability to purchase a month-to-month plan just flip this
switch and you could purchase your plan on a monthly subscription now the price per month for each plan will increase a little bit but you aren't locked in to a yearly subscription nor do you have to pay the Annual lump sum but either way I typically see other landing page Builders charge over $100 per month for something like this so before you decide I recommend taking advantage of Zoho 15-day free trial and then follow along in this video so that you could test everything for yourself before making a purchase so with that being said let's
do just that all right so you can create a free Zoho landing page account by filling out this form again no credit Card is needed just enter some basic info and create a password and you'll be good to go or you could sync your Google or LinkedIn account and sign up that way that's what I'm going to do so I'll sign in and connect with my Google account and then from here I'll choose the account I want to use and then click the continue button to allow the connection next you'll be prompted to create your
Zoho account by entering Your name country or region and state then check the box accepting the terms of service and privacy policy and click the the create account button and due to the fact that this is my first time connecting my Google account to the Zoho account and it's also creating a brand new Zoho account it may take a few seconds so we'll just give it a little bit of time for it to do its thing so just sit tight really quick while it loads next Zoho will present you with a Few quick onboarding questions
you don't need to fill these out if you don't want to and you can skip to your workspace by clicking this link here however for the sake of this tutorial I'm going to quickly go through those onboarding questions so they'll ask you a few questions like how familiar are you with landing pages and you'll just select your answer from that drop- down menu next they'll ask how are you planning to use Zoho landing pages I'm generating Leads for my own business so I'll select that then they want to know how many employees you have go
ahead and select the number of employees that you have for your organization next you'll want to choose your industry and they have a handful to choose from but if you don't see yours just select the one that feel is closest to your Niche and I'm going to go with it software okay there we go then once you've answered all of the onboarding Questions click the submit button and you're in now Zoho takes you directly to the landing page templates so that you can begin building right out of the gate however before we do that if
this is your first time using Zoho and you're setting up the account there are a few admin steps that I highly recommend doing before you jump right in and start building also before you dive in keep an eye out for this welcome email from Zoho in your inbox it has a Lot of great info to help you get started and if you scroll down to the bottom of the email you can access their knowledge Base by clicking this link or you could reach out to their support team by email at this email address and real
quick when you do click on that link it takes you to Zoho knowledge base that's filled with a ton of help docs and tutorials as well as their Community forums and I'll link to this page in the Video description below but they really have some helpful documentation on pretty much every aspect of the landing page builder as well as their other products so whenever you have some extra time I highly recommend swinging by zoh Ho's knowledge base and taking a look at what they have to offer all right moving on next I want to give
you a quick overview of the dashboard so that you can easily navigate and know how to get the most out of your Zoho landing page Account in this portion of the tutorial we're going to quickly go over the Zoho dashboard so that you could have a solid understanding of its features before you start building your landing pages and I know this may seem tedious but it'll help you be more efficient with creating landing pages once you know where everything is and how things work now depending on your account permissions some things you see in this
part of the Video may vary and that's because of the account portal and workspace hierarchy and without getting into the weeds the portal administrator has the highest level of access and can make broad decisions such as managing users customizing settings for the entire portal and deciding which Zoho applications or features are available the workspaces on the other hand are like separate but specific projects or tasks that operate under the umbrella of The portal simply put the workspace is where you'll build your landing pages and depending on your permissions and access you'll either be the portal
admin or you'll have access to the workspaces now if you signed up for a free account like I did in the beginning of this video you'll be the portal admin and you'll have the highest level of access however if you are invited to join a Zoho workpace via email then you'll have limited access to various Settings and features depending on your title and we'll go over user access in just a bit all right with that being said let me give you a quick tour and overview of the workspace portal dashboards okay so when we first
signed up for the free Zoho landing page account it took us straight to the landing page templates however if you click the arrow in the upper left corner of the screen that will take you to your Workspace dashboard now if this is your first time here it'll look pretty blank but as you'll see in a few moments when you start building landing pages and creating projects this is where everything will be housed and taking a closer look you could filter between workspaces here by clicking this drop down and by default Zoho names it for you
which you can rename and depending on your subscription plan the amount of workspaces will vary the essential plan Gives you one workspace the professional plan gives you five workspaces and the Enterprise plan gives you 10 workspaces but you can add an unlimited number of landing pages to each workspace next to that in the admin toolbar you have the pages leads and users tabs the page PES is where all of your landing pages will be located the leads is where all of your form submission leads will be housed and the user tab is where you can
manage and monitor all of the users that Have access to this workspace moving over to the right hand side of the toolbar we have the files icon this is where all of your account files and images will be stored pretty simple and straightforward setup there next to that are the settings and depending on your level of access and permissions what you see here may vary from what is shown in this tutorial but either way on the left hand side will be a menu this is where you can manage and configure various Sections of the account
again depending on your level of access you may see less menu items here and we'll address some of these settings in Greater detail in just a bit then whatever you have selected will be shown on the right hand side of the screen and I currently have workspaces selected so all of my workspaces will be shown here and anytime you want to access a workspace you'll simply click anywhere on the listing and that will take you to that Particular workspace okay continuing with the dashboard tour if you click this little megaphone icon a popup will appear
listing some of Zoho important updates it's just a good way to stay on top of product enhancements and notifications also every time there is a new update a little Green Dot will appear on this icon just FYI next if you click on your profile Avatar you'll be able to access things like your Zoho account settings and we Won't delve into these particular settings in this video but here you can configure your security settings set up multiactor authentication download compliance certifications and much much more so if you are the account owner I highly recommend visiting this
to get a better idea of what you can do to enhance your account below that is the account usage and I'm still using the free trial obviously but this is cool because it gives you a visual countdown Of when your trial ends you also be receiving some emails from Zoho customer success team to remind you about your free trial but this is a great little feature to help you stay on top of the account usage below that is where you can access the Zoho knowledge base you can check out the community forums you can learn
what's new with their updates and even browse their Blog then finally you could visit and follow Zoho on all of their social channels by clicking any Of these social icons and I recommend doing that because it's a great way to stay up to date with all of Zoho products s and speaking of that if you click this little app icon you'll be able to access and view all of Zoho products and we briefly went over this in the intro but beyond the landing page builder Zoho ecosystem encompasses over 40 other applications covering various business functions
like sales and marketing Finance email marketing Service Human Resources customer Solutions and even legal and we're only covering the landing page build in this video but if you're looking to build your Tech stack in your business Zoho is a great place to keep everything centralized in one location I highly recommend checking these out when you have some extra time all right next if you look in the bottom right corner there should be this little chat icon and clicking on this Opens a form where you can submit feedback or ideas whatever it may be you can
do so here with this form pretty cool and then finally if you click this little icon in the upper left corner of the screen it takes you to your settings and then if you click it again it'll take you to the portal dashboard this is where the admin can access and configure the portal and just like the workspaces if you click anywhere on that portal listing it'll take you to the Portal settings where you can then access the workspaces ETC okay so that's the Account dashboard overview I hope that gave you a better understanding of
how to navigate the dashboard and what some of these features do moving on next I want to go over some key admin steps in order to set up your account for Success so next I'm going to show you how to set up your domain integrate an email marketing platform we'll also connect open AI so that you can enable The Zia content assistant and then I'll also show you how to add users to your Zoho workspaces in this portion of the tutorial we're going to cover some very important admin steps steps to take in order to
set your account up for Success this includes setting up a domain name integrating an email marketing provider so that you could collect leads and grow your email list connect open AI via an API key so that you could leverage AI With your content creation and SEO strategy and add users to your Zoho workspaces so you could grow your team and assign roles to other users within your Zoho account so first let's set up the domain now depending on the type of Zoho subscription plan purchased the amount of domains that you can use with your account
will vary ranges from one domain all the way up to 10 domains however for this tutorial we're going to be using one free domain from Zoho now There is a caveat to this the free domain is actually a Zoho subdomain that will look like this but if you want to have a custom primary domain and not a subdomain you could do so but there are some additional steps you'll need to take in order to make that happen and I'll show you what those are in just a bit but first things first first let me show
you how to access and configure your account domain settings so if you're the portal admin your settings Will look like this and in order to customize and set up the domain on the left hand sidebar menu select domains if you're unable to select domains then that means you don't have that level of access and you'll need to reach out to your portal admin in order to get the domain set up just FYI okay so this is where you'll configure the domain that you want to connect to your Z landing page account now as I mentioned
a little bit ago I'm using the free domain from Zoho in this tutorial however if you want to use a custom domain there are some additional steps you'll need to take that I'll show you in just a bit but again I'm using the free domain which is actually a subdomain so to get started with the free subdomain click the claim your free subdomain link and from here it's pretty straight forward and the field provided enter your desired subdomain and for this subdomain it's Going to be YouTub demo. Zoho Landing page.com and I should point out
that every landing page I use in this account since I only have access to one domain will use this subdomain the only thing that will vary is the slug following the trailing slash of the subdomain okay once youve filled this out go ahead and click the add subdomain button and we now have a functional subdomain that we can use for our landing pages from here on out now you May notice this little verify icon you can disregard this if you're using the free subdomain you only need to verify if you're using a custom domain and
speaking of that if you'd rather use a custom domain for your landing pages all you do is click the new domain button and then Zoho will walk you through the four steps necessary to setting up a custom domain for your Zoho landing page account now keep in mind that this isn't a domain registar this this is assuming You already have purchased a custom domain from somewhere like GoDaddy or name cheep and all you're doing here is connecting that custom domain to Zoho so that it will function with your landing pages now the first two steps
are fairly straightforward you enter the domain followed by the subdomain which in most cases is www however the third and fourth steps are when it gets tricky because these steps can vary based on where you Purchased your domain from so if you plan on connecting a custom domain to your Zoho landing page account I highly highly recommend checking out their knowledge based article on this topic I've linked to it in the video description below but they walk you through the process step by step and even have sections of the help doc dedicated to popular domain
registar and this is due to the fact that each registar will have different steps when It comes to its DNS settings and the C name mapping and if you're brand new to all this I know it can sound super technical but if you're having trouble and you don't have a domain Specialist or developer on staff I highly recommend reaching out to Zoho support team via email they'd be more than happy to assist you and help you get your custom domain set up additionally I'm working on a video dedicated to this very topic so be sure
to subscribe to the blog Within YouTube channel so you could be the first to know when my new Zoho domain tutorial is live also feel free to leave a comment below if you're having trouble with this part and I'd be more than happy to help you out in any way that I can okay so that's the first important admin step moving on to the next one which is to integrate AI into our content and SEO strategy so as I'm filming this tutorial which is February of 2024 Zoho has a feature that allows You to connect
to open AI called the Zia assistant and what you're looking at right now is the Zia content assistant shown right here and then they also have the Zia SEO assistant and by adding the generative AI capabilities of Zia via open AI it can make your business functions EAS which includes building landing pages and optimizing them for the search engines okay so before we connect Zia you'll need to have an open AI account and I'll link to that in the Video description below but once you sign up you'll need to create a secret API key and
this is how we'll connect to Zoho Zia to open Ai and I should also point out that in order to use the open AI API you may need to purchase credits within your open AI account and I'll show you how to do that in just a bit okay first things first let's access Zia So within the sidebar menu on the Le hand side of the screen click on where it says Zia content then you'll be Prompted to enter your open AI secret key and if you haven't done that yet click this link here and this
will take you to the API secret key section of your open AI account and just for the sake of the example if you ever need to get here you can do so through the open AI homepage just log in and then you'll be asked if you want to access chat GPT or API we want to access API so go ahead and select that then from here on the left sidebar Menu click this little lock icon and this will take you to your API Keys again things are always changing and moving at a light speed pace
so some things may have changed in terms of this process depending on when you're watching this video but either way from here we'll need to create a new secret key so go ahead and click the create new secret key button next go ahead and give the key a name and I recommend naming it something That is relative to what you're using it for so I'm naming this Zoho landing page key then below that set your permissions I'm keeping it at all and then click the create secret key button and in a few seconds you'll have
a new secret key now I'm obviously blurring this out for security purposes but keep in mind that when you close this little popup you won't be able to view your secret key ever again so it's recommended that you copy it and save it In a safe and secure location okay whenever you're ready go ahead and click the copy button and again be sure to save this somewhere safe then head back to Zoho and within the Zia content assistant paste that secret key in the field provided and then click the submit button then review the data
privacy notice and click the proceed button when you're ready and success the Zia assistant is Now synced and active on your account portal you can now Leverage The Power of open AI chat GPT with your content creation and SEO strategy and don't worry I'll show you how to use this when we start building your landing page okay moving on to the next important admin step which is to integrate an email marketing provider with this Zoho account and the primary reason for this is so that when someone lands on my landing page and fills out a
lead form I Can funnel that lead through my email marketing channel via my business's email marketing provider which for this example is constant contact and landing pages and email marketing go hand inand so before you create a landing page with a lead gen form it's highly recommended that you integrate an email marketing funnel with your account so to get started within the sidebar menu here click on Integrations then next you have the Ability to integrate various apps but again for this example I'm integrating my personal email marketing provider so I'll select email marketing from that
Sub menu on the left hand side of the screen next find your email marketing Provider from the list and select it if you don't see yours I recommend using Zoho campaigns that's their internal email marketing service that you can access via the Zoho section of the Integrations but again for this example I'm integrating Constant Contact so I'll select that from the list there then click the add account button next you'll be asked to allow Zoho to access your info so go ahead and click the allow button to proceed and then in a few seconds you'll
be taken to the email marketing provider login page so let me log into my constant contact account really quick and then the way Constant Contact handles the connection is they present You with an allow button so I'll go ahead and click this button to allow the connection between the two and just like that my constant contact email marketing account and funnel are now connected to my Zoho landing page account so now whenever I create a lead form in Zoho I can integrate it with constant contact and funnel those leads through my email journey I can
track them I could segment my lists Etc all on the constant contact Side of things now I should point out that when a visitor fills out a lead form on any of my landing pages here in Zoho that lead info and form analytics will still be available within my Zoho account and I'll show you how to access that information a little later on but this integration with an outside email provider allows me to harness my proven funnel and Constant Contact and easily connect it to all of my landing page forms here in Zoho all right
the last Admin tip I want to go over is how to add new users to a workspace so let's head back to the workspace by clicking workspaces in the leand sidebar menu then click on the workspace that you want to access then from here you can add users to the workspace and give them various access and permissions this can come in handy if you have a team or other employees that need access to Zoho to manage products build landing pages or Review the work either way here is how to add a user to a workspace
So within the workspace click the users tab in the toolbar toward the upper left corner of the screen and this will bring you to the user management page this is where you can obviously add delete and manage the users within the workpace right now the only user on the account is me but let's say I need to give one of my employees access access to the account so they can build landing pages in that Case you'd want to invite a user to the workspace so to do that click the invite users button then you'll be
prompted to enter their email address and access type so let me enter the email really quick then for the access type there are three options the viewer can only preview pages and reports they can't make any edits or publish Pages they can just view them the designer on the other hand can only design Pages they can't publish Or delete pages and then finally the workspace manager can create and publish Pages they have the most access next to the portal admin so for this example I'm going to give this user workspace manager permissions so I'll select
that and then click the invite user button and then you'll see that the user will be added to our user list but the status will be yet to accept so whoever you invited they'll need to accept the invite and create an account before they Can gain access to the Zoho landing page account and let me show you what that looks like really quick so I'm going to head over to the email inbox of the new user that I just invited and they'll receive an invitation email that will look something like this and please keep in
mind that this invitation will expire in 30 days so they will need to view and accept the invitation within that time frame and the process is pretty straightforward they'll just click the View invitation button within the email and then click the sign up and accept button then they'll enter their credentials and create a password for their account then check the box accepting the terms of service and click the sign up and accept button again and in a few moments they'll get an accepted notification letting them know that they are now part of this organization's account
and they should Be redirected to the workspace in a few quick seconds and there we go the new user which in this case is a workspace manager can start creating and Publishing landing pages and with that being said that's going to do it for the admin setup tips moving on next it's time to start creating landing pages in this portion of the tutorial I'm going to walk you through the entire Process of creating and designing a landing page with Zoho landing page pre-made templates we're going to cover design content creation lead gen SEO and much
much more so with that being said let's get started okay so anytime you want to create a new landing page you'll do so in your workspace which is what you're looking at right now and I haven't created a page yet so to get started started simply click the create new page button and this will take you To what I like to call Zoho landing page template Library by default they display all of the templates here where you could browse and preview them one by one to see which one works for your specific campaign and I
got to say these templates streamline the process of creating effective and engaging landing pages by eliminating the need to start from scratch and allowing users to select and customize a design that suits their needs plus the professionally Designed templates adhere to the latest web design Trends and best practices ensuring that each landing page is visually appealing and capable of capturing visitor attention plus they're all easily customizable in the landing page builder as you'll see in a few moments but before we do that you can also filter through the different types of categories of templates here
on the lefthand sidebar menu they have everything from coming soon and thank You pages to webinars events ebooks and much much more and these templates are optimized for conversions featuring elements like clear calls to action engaging headlines and userfriendly forms to enhance the landing Page's Effectiveness in generating leads or sales and the importance of responsive design is also addressed as well with templates designed to ensure optimal viewing and interaction across all devices now you do have the option to Always build your landing pages from scratch by clicking this button and that will take you directly
to the landing page builder where you can literally build your landing page from the ground up however these templates are designed to save you time while also helping to increase conversions so for this example I'm going to create a landing page designed to generate leads by using a free ebook lead magnet so I'll select the ebook template Category and then from here if you hover your mouse over the template icons you can get a mini preview but you can also fully preview the template before choosing it by clicking the preview button and then Zoho gives
you a quick desktop preview of what the template will look like we have a nice header with an image of the book as well as a legion form I love it then you can even preview what the template will look like on a tablet and mobile device by Clicking these icons here towards the top of the screen so let's take a look at the tablet preview really quick and so far so good I like that responsiveness of the design then we'll check out the mobile preview as well and that looks great too now remember that
these templates are just a starting point once you get in the Builder you'll see the flexibility and control that you have when it comes to the content and Design of these templates and with that being said let's start building using this landing page template so once you've made your decision on which template you're going to use click the start building button in the upper right corner of the screen next you'll be prompted to name the landing page this is for backend purposes and will only be used to keep things organized in the workspace but I
recommend naming it something that Aligns with what the landing page is about and for this example I'm generating leads with my free food blog ebook so I'll title this food blog ebook then once you've titled the page go ahead and click the create button and this will take you to the interactive Zoho drag and drop landing page builder this is where the magic happens and is where you'll build op imize integrate and publish your landing pages and Zoho drag and drop landing Page builder is a userfriendly tool designed to simplify the process of creating engaging
and effective landing pages and if this is your first time here it may seem a little confusing but I can assure you that once you start using it you get familiar with where things are and what everything does you'll be a pro in no time and with that being said let me give you a quick tour of the Builder so that you can get acquainted with how it works before you Start creating your landing pages okay first let's take a look at the toolbar at the top of the screen starting on the left hand side
we have the arrow icon and clicking this allows you to exit the Builder and go back to your workspace next to that is the insert option and clicking this will allow you to insert different elements into the pre-made template and we'll use this a little later on but this feature lets you quickly insert different elements like Forms images text videos Etc giving you a ton of flexibility and control over the design and layout of your pages next we have the optimized feature and this is where you can Implement AB testing and test different variations of
your landing page as well as personalization where you can provide a personalized experience for different sets of Target audiences and these are two very powerful features that we'll cover a little later on next to that are the Popups and these are a great way to capture leads promote offers and increase conversions and again we'll be adding a popup to this page so you'll get to see it in action towards the end of the tutorial next our Integrations and this is where you can integrate various apps and software with your landing pages like email marketing providers
and a little later on we're going to integrate and connect an email marketing funnel to the lead form on This page using this Integrations feature moving over to the right hand side of the toolbar we have some additional features and settings starting with the save button and clicking this obviously saves your work I believe there is an autosave feature that saves as you go but if you see this I recommend clicking the save button before exiting the landing page builder next to that is the file icon and this is the same as the file folder
in the Workspace all files and images will be stored here so if you want to upload a new image or access a file to use within the landing page template you can do so by clicking the file icon next is this little gear icon and clicking this opens the configuration settings like SEO your favicon adding scripts to the page social previews and much more and we'll go through this configuration before we publish the page next we have a paintbrush icon and this allows you to Configure some of the overall theme design settings like the color
scheme and typography and again we'll also review this a little later on in the video moving on to the arrows these are the undo and redo change feature I use these quite a bit when I'm designing and building my pages but these come in handy if you need to undo or redo a change that you've made to your page the arrow on the left is the undo feature and the arrow on the right is the redo Next to that is an eyeball icon and this lets you preview your page before you publish your changes in
desktop tablet and mobile views I highly recommend using the preview feature as you build your pages because it lets you see the page as if you are the visitor it's a great resource that can help you catch errors and design flaws before you launch and make the landing page live for the world to see all right next we have the publish button you'll obviously Click this when you're ready to launch and publish your landing page and clicking the publish button makes this page live on the internet then toward the bottom right we have this little
notification Bell this is like the notifications in the toolbar within the workspace and then last but not least is the drag and drop landing page builder if you look towards the middle of the screen you'll see the template that you chose to use and Everything on this screen is completely customizable within the template you'll notice that as I hover my mouse over different elements of of the page you'll see a box appear around each one this indicates what you're editing at the moment and clicking on it will open the properties of that specific element or
section allowing you to edit it even further to your liking additionally there is kind of a hierarchy to how these blocks of content are situated for Example this page is broken down into three sections then within each section are various elements like headings text images columns and a form again all customizable here in the template and you can begin editing each section and the elements within that section by clicking on any of them one by one so if I click on this top section let me click on it really quick you'll see that it gets
highlighted and Grays out the other sections so that you could tell that This is the section you're editing then if you look toward the bottom left corner you'll see a little toolbar this contains some editing features for this particular section and really Qui let me show you what each one does so first there's this little cross Arrow icon and clicking and holding the mouse down on this icon lets you move the entire section anywhere on the page this is what Zoho means by drag and drop if you see this little arrow icon you Can drag
and rearrange any of these sections or page elements within the template it's pretty cool next is the copy feature and clicking this lets you copy the entire section so if you have a section or element that you need to make multiple versions of you could click this copy icon and instead of having to rebuild them one by one you can just copy and paste it and create an exact replica of the current section or element within the landing page next are The settings for the section and clicking this icon opens a little popup where you
can really drill down and configure the settings of this particular section and there's a lot to unpack here and for the sake of time I'm not going to go into detail on every aspect of the section and the element settings but with this popup you can edit the overall general settings like the background image and overlay color which is selected right now as well as Some shaper options and this lets you add some cool graphics to your headings and we'll experiment with that in just a bit then if you look toward the left there's this
little sidebar menu with some additional icons and each icon lets you configure different aspects of the section and just a quick overview of each one first we have the typography border and spacing settings next is the animation settings this lets you animate aspects of the page if you Want to then there's the CSS Editor this lets you add custom CSS to the section next is the hide and display feature this setting lets you show or hide content on mobile devices and a desktop this comes in handy if you want to make a design change on
desktop version only but not the mobile version and we'll test this out a little later on so you can see how it works and finally are the JavaScript event settings this is where you can attach JavaScript events to any Element in your landing page so those are the section settings and feel free to explore those settings for each section and element as you build your page then to exit the settings just click that X there in the upper right corner of the popup all right then next to the settings is the trash can icon and
this is pretty self-explanatory clicking this will delete the entire section alt together then finally there's a little green tab notating what It is that you have selected within the landing page template and we have the section selected at the moment so that's why it says section then moving to the center of the section towards the bottom there you'll see some additional buttons first is this little plus icon and clicking this opens a sidebar menu on the left hand side of the screen where you can add new sections popups elements Etc to the landing page and
we'll use this feature a little later on so you Could see how it works next to that is another copy button this is like the copy button in that previous toolbar you'll just click on this and it copies the entire section then next to that is the paste button and clicking this pastes what you just copied directly below this section then finally is the save section button this basically saves the entire section and creates a pre-made layout that you could then access and use on other projects if you Want to it's a great timesaver okay
so that's the section toolbar and setting in a nutshell next let's take a quick look at the element settings so you could see how they differ so when I say element I'm referring to anything inside the section like headings text buttons images etc those are elements and they pretty much behave the same way as the sections do in the template as far as their settings but there are some small variations for example you could still Hover your mouse over them and click on them to select them but you'll notice that when I do you also
get this text editing toolbar that appears above the normal editing toolbar this is because this particular element that we're editing is text so anytime you click on a text element within the landing page template you'll get this toolbar where you can configure the text style and typography as well as access the AI content assistant and dynamic text Features and we'll touch on those in just a bit but I just wanted to show you the additional editing options when it comes to sections versus elements then the last thing I want to show you before we start
building this page is the little green tab this not only notates which element you have selected but if you click on it you can quickly jump from element to section to column Etc just a little tip to help you quickly navigate within the template if you need To and as you can see if I select section it takes me to the section where I can then begin making my edits and with that being said let's start building this landing page okay so the way I'm going to go about this is I'm going to make my
design and content edits first and then I'll set up my lead form if you recall the purpose of this landing page is to capture leads with the lead form via my lead magnet which is a free ebook so after we design The page we'll set up the lead form and Lead magnet all right the first thing I want to edit is the background image in this top section so to do that click the settings icon in the toolbar there for the section and then in the general settings click the change image button and this will
open your file manager where if you have images already stored there you can just select them however I'm uploading a new image so I'll click the upload button and then find the image I want to use on my computer and then depending on the size it may take a few seconds to load there we go then to add it to the page hover your mouse over it and click on where it says insert and boom check that out we have a new background image that is much more aligned with my food Niche looks great now
you can go even further and add Shapes and change the opacity if you'd like for example if you click where it says shaper you'll be presented with a drop- down menu where you could basically add these pre-made shape Graphics to the background image and I forgot you can move this setting popup menu if you need to just drag and drop it anywhere on the template it's pretty convenient but these shaper images are a cool way to diversify Your Design if that's something you want to do they add A little flare to the section and can
possibly help with engagement and conversions it would definitely be something I would test for future campaigns okay so that's going to do it for the background image in this section let's move on to the next image which will be for my ebook so just like the top section I'll click on the image element within the template and this will bring up the toolbar then to open the settings click That little icon and we get the popup settings menu again and just like before click the change image button and from your file manager select the image
you want to use or upload a new one again I'm uploading a new image so I'll click the upload button and find the image I want to use then to insert the image into the page just like our background image hover your mouse over it and click on where it Says insert and beautiful we now have a much more relevant image for my ebook landing page again this will help entice people to fill out the form that we'll set up a little later on now one thing I didn't do in this video was add the
alt text to the images when I added them to the template but you can do so here within the settings popup and I highly recommend adding the alt text to all of your images for SEO Benefits okay so we have our new images next let's move on to the content and start editing the copy so anytime you want to edit text within the landing page template you'll hover your mouse over the specific element and click on it like so again this opens the editing toolbar and gives you complete control over every aspect of the text
within this element which in this case is a heading and to edit the heading text simply start typing as you would with a Word doc or email it's really that simple and as you do you'll see your changes happen in real time within the template and again this landing page is going to Target people who are interested in my free food blog ebook so I'm going to have this heading say learn how to cook now if you can't tell by that heading I'm not a copywriting Wordsmith learn how to cook is pretty generic and could
definitely be better well that's when zoh Ho's AI powerered Content assistant comes into play Within the editing toolbar there will be a Content assistant button and clicking on that will open Zia the AI writing assistant on the right hand side of the screen and if you recall during the admin setup portion of this video we connected to open AI via the secret API key now you can roughly type in what you want to write which I did and this heading just says learn how to cook but now with the content assistant Zia the AI whips
up skillfully written landing page copy all all you have to do is choose what you want to use and replace it and it's super easy to do as you can see Z will give you five suggestions that you could filter through by clicking these little arrows some are single headlines and some are a bunch of headlines grouped together I'm not sure why it's like that but nevertheless this is a great way to get ideas for your landing page copy but it doesn't stop There if you click this little pencil edit icon it gives you the
ability to really drill down the criteria for Z you can add key keywords that you'd like to include as well as even set the tone and character limit for the AI generated copy this is great because every brand has a unique voice that needs to be consistent in all promotional content but defining and maintaining the tone is something that even the most skilled writers struggle with but here in the Zia criteria you can easily choose the tone for your landing page copy just click on that tone drop down and you can select from formal to
inspiring to humble and much more this is a really cool feature in my opinion okay so for the sake of time we're just going to keep everything as is but feel free to test and play around with the criteria to see what works best for you in your landing page copy and for my heading copy let's see I think I like this one The best so once you find one that works for you click on it to copy it and then just like a word Docker email place your cursor in the heading and paste the
copy text I'm on a Mac so I'm pressing command p on my keyboard to paste it and then I'll get rid of these quotations marks and there we go how cool is that okay let's keep going and move on to the larger heading below that so just like before to edit it place your cursor in that element and then edit the text if You'd like and I'm going to change this to say recipe guide for Foodies not bad but let's use the AI assistant so in the editing toolbar let's click that content assistant button again
and just like the previous heading we are presented with five AI generated suggestions for a new heading and let's take a quick look at these and again I'm not sure why some of them are just one line of copy and then some are like a mini paragraph This is still in Beta so it may be a bug but either way I actually think I'm going to stick with my original headline for this one now I should point out that if you're not happy with the results you can click the pencil icon to open the criteria
section and from here if you click the regenerate button it'll give you five more AI generated content suggestions using this criteria just FYI okay so for the sake of time I'm going to speed through me uploading the Rest of the copy on the page so anywhere there is text I'm going to edit it so that it aligns with my food blog ebook campaign but again anything you see on this template is customizable and the changes can be made in real time this saves you a ton of time also I'm changing the lead form text but
we'll address the actual form fields and the integration in just a bit right now I just want to change all of the text on this landing page and then let me update The footer text really quick and there we go all right so that's going to do it for the copy let's move on to the lead form now this particular landing page template came with a pre-made lead form but the great thing about this is that it's 100% customizable simply click anywhere on the form like any of the other elements of the page and you
can access the settings toolbar then click that little icon to open the settings popup And from here you have access to some general settings but if you click this edit form button it will open the visual form editor and you can really configure some more intricate details of the form and I love this form Builder because it's a versatile and userfriendly Tool designed to help you create custom forms for a wide range of purposes everything from simple contact forms to complex surveys and registrations it has a drag and drop Interface makes it easy to add
arrange and customize form Fields according to specific needs without any need for coding knowledge and a quick tour before we get started on the left hand side of the screen we have the form fields that you could add to the form they're broken down into two sections pre-made and custom again giving you a ton of freedom and flexibility on your form's purpose and toward the middle is the visual editor this not only gives you a preview Of the form but you can drag and drop the fields to rearrange and create a unique lead form right
here then on the right hand side we have the property settings and this is broken down into two sections as well the form properties and the Field properties this is where you'll configure things like the form Behavior thank you message field titles Etc all right with that being said let's create our lead form for this particular landing page okay so the first thing I Recommend doing is updating your form name and form link name and the form name is primarily used for backend organization but it can also be displayed on the front end of your
site as well right above the form just keep that in mind whenever you're naming it so in that first field there type in your desired form name and then below that is the form link name and this is the name which is internally referred to by Zoho and this Is used when the form is referred in script it also sets values to Fields as query string in your forms permal link when a user access is your form and it helps the filter records displayed by a report passing the criteria and I usually name it identical
to my form and keep in mind that because this is a link you'll want to add dashes in between the words then below that you could change the call to action on the button I actually like the download now CTA so I'm going to leave it but you can edit it to say whatever you want in that field then below that you can create a thank you message that appears after the user submits the form this is a nice touch that creates a welcoming user experience so I highly recommend writing a nice little thank you
note here also this is a great opportunity to explain next steps and expectations if your form is delivering a lead Magnet or starting an email journey and if you recall this Form is being filled out by a user who wants to access my free ebook so I'm going to say thanks for downloading our ebook you'll be redirected to the ebook in a few seconds and speaking of that let me show you how this is going to be handled so the way I'm going about this is I created this ultimate food blog guide ebook in Google
Docs and what I'll do here is create a sharable link that when the user fills out the form on my Landing page they'll be redirected to this link they can then download the ebook as a PDF and save it on their computer so first let me create the sharable link so since this is a Google doc I'll click the share button in the upper right corner of the screen and and then I'll keep the general access as anyone with the link can view the dock and then I'll click the copy link button to copy the
link so that I can add it to my form properties In Zoho and there we go then let's head back to the Zoho form Builder and within the submit action section click the choose action button and this is where you can determine a specific action to happen once the user fills out the form and submits their info and you have three actions to choose choose from there's page this redirects the user to another Zoho landing page there's web URL this redirects the user to a totally separate URL and then download file this automatically downloads a
file to the user's computer upon completing the form and your requirements may vary from mine but as we just went over I'm going to redirect the user to my Google doc ebook with the shared link so I'll select web URL and from here simply paste the sharable link from the Google Doc in the field provided and then click the okay button and perfect now we'll test this Out and make sure that the funnel and everything is behaving properly whenever we launch the landing page okay next you can enable a capture for security purposes if you'd
like you can also schedule data collection and by default it's set to always and then you can also set your email notifications for when you want to be notified when someone fills out the form now for the sake of time I'm just leaving all of these settings as is but you can configure Them to your liking here if you need to and next for the sake of the example let me show you how to add a field to the form so this particular lead form came pre-made with a name field and an email field however
let's say I need to collect a phone number as well so to add a field within either the pre-made or custom Fields menu on the left hand side of the screen simply click on the field that that you want to add and I want to add a phone number so I will select Phone and just like that we have a new phone number field in the form now you can reposition this field if you need to by clicking anywhere on the field and dragging it up or down but I'm actually just going to get rid
of it since I was adding it for an example only so if you need to delete a field simply click the red trash can icon and it will be removed from the form okay next I want to edit some of the Field properties for each of these Fields so one way to do that is to click on the field that you want to edit so I'll click on the name field there and this will open the Field property settings on the right hand side of the screen then from here you can change the field label
by default it set to enter your full name but I'm going to change it to say full name then below that you could set the field link name this will come in handy when we're integrating the email Marketing software mapping the form fields to the software so for the sake of time I'm just leaving them as name it'll be easy to identify either way and then below that you can add some instructions below the field just type what you want it to say and the text will appear below that particular field now I don't necessarily
like this but if you have a somewhat complicated form or process this could help guide the user through the Form okay then finally I want to make this field mandatory meaning the user will have to fill it out in order to submit the form so just flip that switch on and you'll see the red asterisk display alerting the user that this field is mandatory all right then I'm going to speed through the same steps for the email field so I'm just renaming the field label and setting it as mandatory and perfect our form is complete
so once You're done configuring your form properties the funnel and the fields go ahead and click the save button and the form is set next I want to style the form so that it matches the current color scheme and typography of my landing page so keeping in the setting popup menu click this little T icon and from here you could change the form typography background border Etc you can also style the button so click the button style tab And you'll have the same style settings like the background color and opening that option gives you the
ability to change the background color of the button just click in that first field and it opens this little interactive Color Picker tool now I definitely don't want this pink color so I'm going to quickly choose a shade of green that matches the rest of the page and I'm quickly just picking a random green color but you'll more than likely Have brand guidelines with specific colors if that's the the case you'll probably want to choose a color by the hex color code but either way this little tool lets you easily change the background color of
the button then you can even set a hover color for the button just click that second field to open the Color Picker and you can set a different shade for when the user hovers their Mouse over the button it's a pretty cool interactive feature that can Help increase conversions and the engagement next I want to change the typography that's used on the button so staying in the button style setting if you click the typography tab it opens the typography settings where you can stylize the font within the CTA and you can change the type of
font being used just click this drop down and select the font that you want to change it to then below that you could do things like change the font weight color size Hover color Etc but for the sake of time I'm just changing the font type but feel free to experiment with these settings whenever you have some extra time okay so that's going to do it for the form properties and style next I want to integrate this form so that it's connected to my email marketing provider and the way will do that is with zoh
Ho's integration feature now if you've been following along step by step throughout this entire tutorial and You're the portal admin then you already went through the process of setting up the account's email marketing integration earlier in the video however when you build a lead form in Zoho landing page you'll still need to connect to the account's email marketing provider and integ it with that form now if you're scratching your head right now no worries I'll walk you through the entire process so hopefully it'll make more sense as we go through it okay so What I'm
going to do here is integrate this form with my third-party email marketing provider Constant Contact this will allow me to funnel all of the leads that fill out this form to my current email marketing strategy and email Journey set up in constant contact now one thing I want to point out is that if you don't have an email marketing system in place that's okay these leads that are submitted to your Zoho forms will still be stored within your workspace You just won't be able to Market to those leads via email however I should also point
out that Zoho has an internal email marketing app called Zoho campaigns that you could use and actually get started with for free and I'll show you how to access that app in just a bit but it's a great option if you don't have an email marketing platform for your business yet okay with that being said let me show you how to connect this form to a third party email Marketing provider so first things first click the integrate button underneath the form and this will open the integration settings where you can select from various services and
apps to connect to everything from Zoho internal services to crms email marketing providers webinar software and marketing apps like Google tag manager the Integrations feature is a powerful tool that can enhance your landing page performance And ultimately help your conversions and before we dive in if you don't have an email marketing provider as I previously mentioned I highly recommend using Zoho campaigns they're free to get started and offer a robust platform to ramp up your customer engagement strategy and follow up with leads via engaging email campaigns but for this example I'm connecting this form to
Constant Contact so I'll select email marketing from that sidebar Menu and as you can see they offer a handful of Pop popular email marketing providers to integrate with Constant Contact being one of them so I'll select that one next you'll go through four steps to complete the integration the first step is to select the constant contact account that you want to connect to again if you don't see an account here you'll need to either reach out to your portal admin and have them set that up In the workspace settings or go back to the part
of this video where we connected Constant Contact to the workspace but either way once that's all set up you'll be able to select the constant contact account that you want to connect to here in the first step of the integration and I only have one account at the moment and it's already selected so I'll go ahead and click the continue button next you'll be asked to select the list that you want to funnel These leads to now these lists were set up outside of this video on the constant contact side of things so if you
don't see any lists here you'll need to set that up in constant contact but once you have your lists ready to go you can select the one that you want these leads to go to just click that drop down menu and select the list then click the continue button step three is where we'll map the field data and what this is doing is It's basically telling Constant Contact what field is what and how that data will be collected and tracked on the constant contact side of things and without getting into the Weeds on the left
is how the fields are named in constant contact and and then on the right is how the field names are named within the Zoho form and you'll just match up with whatever is closest so when Constant Contact receives an email address it'll be pulled from the Zoho Field titled email address then we also want Constant Contact to get the name field so to add a field click the add field link and then click that drop- down menu and from the list of fields provided find the name field they only have first name but that'll work
then the Zoho field we want to map to is our full name field and I know it may be confusing because one field says first name and the other says full name But it'll still work out for my listing and Reporting now you can always clear this up if needed whenever you're creating your form fields in the Zoho form Builder but again like I said this will work for now then below that is the ability to enrich the lead data and turning that on will allow Zoho to C pages from across the internet and retrieve
additional information about the lead such as company size phone number and address and other details all Of this information can be used by your sales team for personalizing their communication and Lead conversion prediction okay once you've mapped the fields click the continue button and success the integration is live so go ahead and click the done button and now our leads from the Zoho lead form will flow to Constant Contact and we'll test out the lead flow in just a bit so you could see how it works okay we're almost done there are a few final
Design tweaks I want to make to this page and then we'll be able to launch so next I want to change the color of the footer by default it's like this pink color but that doesn't align with my new foodie color scheme so to edit it click on that section then from the toolbar open the set things pop up and then within the general section next to where it says background type open that drop- down menu and select Solid color and when I do the text kind of disappears because it's dark as well so in
that case next to where it says background theme open that drop- down menu and select light text on dark background and voila the text turns to White and is much easier to see then you can change the background color just like we did with the button just place your cursor here in this field and it'll open the Color Picker tool where you can Make it whatever color you want and I'll just go with that one for the sake of time matches pretty well and then our page is coming along nicely now as you're building your
page one thing I highly recommend doing is previewing your work as you go and definitely previewing it before you publish this gives you the ability to essentially QA and test the functionality across multiple devices before sharing this page with the world so the way to Preview your work is by clicking this little eyeball icon in the tool bar and that will open the preview environment where you can view the landing page on desktop and I'm definitely aware of that white space below the footer but I'll show you a few ways to address that in a
few seconds then if you click the tablet icon there towards the top of the screen you'll get the tablet View and you could see how the landing page looks on a taet and one thing I do want to point out Here is that that paragraph text padding is really close to the image but I'll show you how to fix that in a few seconds as well and then the rest of the page on the tablet looks good got a nice image and then our lead form and yeah I'm really happy with this one and then
let's check out the mobile view so I'll click that mobile phone icon and again the paragraph text is really tight and close to the image there we'll have to fix that before it Goes live which is really easy to do but again this is why you preview your work gives you the ability to catch things like this before your users do and UI and ux flaws in landing pages can have a negative effect on conversions so that's just another reason to get into the habit of always previewing your work before publishing okay so let's head
back to the Builder by clicking this arrow in the upper left corner and then there are two things I Want to address next first is the padding between between the text and the image on the tablet and mobile devices then second is this white space below the footer the page layout doesn't fill the entire screen on my desktop so again these design flaws can cause people to bounce and leave your landing page so let me show you a quick way to fix these two things so first if you hover your mouse right below the text
element you'll see that there's a spacer already There this is how you can add space between elements on the page however the problem with this spacer is that it looks great on desktop but it looks pretty bad on tablet and mobile devices so the fix here is to add another spacer element that is only visible on tablets and mobile devices and to do that we'll click the plus icon there on the spacer element then from the sidebar menu We'll add another spacer and you can just use the search feature to find it if you Know
it by name so we'll type spacer there and there we go and then I'll select it and this will add a new spacer element directly below our current spacer however by default this spacer is viewable on all devices including desktop and remember we only want this spacer to work when people view the page on tablet or mobile devices so to configure that setting let's open the settings popup Menu then in the show on device section unselect the desktop by clicking that icon and now this spacer will only display on tablets and mobile devices then you'll
need to experiment with the size here but if you pull this little arrow icon you can change the amount of space that is between the text and image and I know it looks weird here because we have two spacer elements stacked on top of one another but this is when the preview feature comes in Handy so let's click on that eyeball icon again to preview these changes and the desktop version is unchanged perfect then let's take a look at the tablet View and check that out the spacer is working and has added a little more
padding between the paragraph text and the image looks much better and then let's check out the mobile view awesome looks great here so our tablet and mobile spacer worked next we can do the Same thing to fix the space below the footer so let's head back to the landing page template Again by clicking the arrow in the upper left corner of the screen and just just like before if you hover your mouse over that section right above the footer you can then click that plus icon and add another spacer element however for the sake of
this example let me quickly show you how easy it is to add an entirely new section Using Zoho pre-made sections so if you look in the sidebar menu you'll be presented with a ton of really cool and great looking pre-made sections these can save you a ton of time in the design process and they're really easy to implement once you find one you like simply select it from this menu and just like that you have a brand new section that you could edit just like we've been editing the rest of the Landing page so far
now for the sake of time I'm not going to make any edits to this section but I just wanted to show you how easy it is to build and add to the current landing page template plus when we preview the page you'll see that the white space below the footer is gone and the layout looks much better across all devices then back at the template if you need to remove a section remember you could do so by clicking on that section To select it and then in the toolbar click the trash can icon and I
know that the white space looks bad and normally I would fix this but for the sake of time I'm just going to leave it plus this is a demo page that won't have any real web traffic sent to it and this obviously isn't a best practice but we have some more important stuff to cover so I'm just going to leave this as is okay let me save these changes really Quick and there we go next I'm going to show you another quick design edit you can make to your entire landing page template so in your
toolbar at the top of the screen towards the upper right corner if you click on this paintbrush icon this will open the theme customization presets and what this does is it lets you configure the color scheme and typography used throughout the entire theme and if we click on the presets tab you'll be presented with Some color and typography presets that you could choose from and Implement on your landing page and going through these presets you'll notice that whenever I select them the color doesn't change but the overall typography does and that's because I've already manually
changed the color scheme within the template however if you select these themes before you start editing your page you can set the primary color scheme in go from there but either way This is another great way to save some time in the design process if you find that these presets align with your brand or campaign all right I actually like the runway typography preset so I'll select that one and again if you do make any changes don't forget to click the save button okay the last thing I recommend doing before you publish the landing page
is to configure the SEO and social Settings so if you click this little gear icon in the toolbar at the top of the screen this will open the configuration settings where you can edit the SEO settings create the favicon social card and much more and we'll quickly go through each of these configurations so you could see what they do so starting with the SEO configuration this is very powerful for a few reasons but this feature enables users to optimize their pages for search Engines directly within the Builder making it easier to attract targeted track traffic
without needing extensive SEO knowledge and by allowing for the customization of key elements such as title tags metad descriptions and keywords it ensures that each landing page can be fine-tuned to rank higher in the search engine results pages and this optimization process is crucial for improving the organic reach of your content drawing in more relevant Audience and ultimately increasing conversion rates additionally with the addition of the AI SEO assistant it makes this process super streamlined and less stressful if you aren't an SEO expert and let me show you what I mean so if you're running
into writer's block or you aren't well versed in SEO that's when the AI SEO assistant comes into play for example for this page title if you click the SEO assistant button you'll be presented with the AI Generated suggestions just like when we used it in the landing page builder again saving time and helping you get the most out of optimizing your page for the search engines and when you find one that you want to use simply click on it and that title will be added to the page title field now you may need to make
some adjustments like deleting the quotation marks but this is still a very powerful tool the same goes for The Meta description just click the SEO assistant Button there and then choose from the suggestions given by the AI remember if you don't like these suggestions you can always regenerate them until you find something that works for you and I like this one so I'll select it then you'll notice that this one is actually a few characters over the recommended limit of 160 in that case you can just remove some text here and the warning disappears and
we Now have an optimized page title and meta description ready for the search engines below that you can also choose to include keywords that you want to Target simply type them in the field provided one by one and this allows you to optimize for SEO even further then finally you have the option to add robots tags should you choose to restrict what should be indexed and served for the search engines the no index hides the page Media or resource In the search results no follow restricts the search from following the links in the page to
discovered linked Pages no no archive restricts the search engine from showing a cached page then once you've made all of your o configurations click the save button and just like that your landing page is now optimized for the search engines how easy was that okay moving on to the favicon so go ahead and click on where it says favicon on the left Sidebar menu and this lets you add a custom favicon to your landing page if you're unfamiliar with what a favicon is it's the tiny image that web browsers use to help distinguish between web
pages a favicon is the tiny image in the browser Tab and they're great for Branding efforts and they help people navigate online so I recommend adding a custom fabicon to all of your landing pages and please keep in mind that the recommended Size for your favicon is 16x 16 pixels and should not exceed 512 by 512 pixels additionally supported file types are PNG JPEG and Ico so to add your fabicon just drag and drop the file here or click here and upload the file from your computer and just like that we have a custom fabicon
that will now show in all of the browser tabs when a user opens this landing page okay moving on to the scripts so click on where it says add Scripts and this is where you can add custom scripts to the header and footer of the landing page again this is just a demo landing page so I don't have any scripts to add at the moment but you may have some tracking strips you want to add and if so you can easily add them here next we have the social preview and this is where you can
configure how your landing page will look on Facebook and Twitter or X as it's called now simply click the add File button and find an image in your files or upload a new one I'm going to upload a new image so I'll click upload and then I'll find the image I want to use there we we go then one really cool feature here is that Zoho offers to compress the image I highly recommend doing this because if you're using a large file size it could hinder loading times and user experience so I always Compress my
images for social media and just click that button there and in a few seconds the image will be compressed and we can now insert it into the social preview so go ahead and hover your mouse over the file and click on where it says insert and check that out we now have a professional looking social preview of the landing page this is what it'll look like on Facebook and then if you click this little drop down you'll be able to see what it looks like on X again this is just the best practice so I
recommend getting into the habit of always updating your landing pages social preview before publishing okay next is the Zoho sales IQ feature this is a live chat feature that lets you add live chat to your page if you have the sales iQ app enabled I don't so I'm not using it but this is where you would Implement that particular feature then finally we have the language configuration this is where You can add multiple languages and localize the language based on the user's geographical location this is awesome and very powerful if you have an international audience
because it will automatically enhance the user experience and increase engagement since the international viewers can actually read and understand what is on the page and all you do here is select the language that you want to add and then you can edit the localized content for Page elements such as forms Cookie Bars countdown timer and gallery and that's going to do it for the page configurations all right moving on next I want to show you how to leverage zoh Ho's AB test and personalization features however if you don't plan on running any AB tests or
personalization then you can simply publish your page now and you'll be good to go and again all you would do is click the publish Button in the upper right corner but again for the sake of this tutorial I want to quickly go over how to take advantage of the ab test and personalization experiments I'll still show you how to publish and launch this page at the end of the tutorial but again I want to go over the AB testing and personalization just so you can get a grasp of how powerful this optimization feature is in
this portion of the tutorial I Want to show you how to implement AB testing and personalization experiments these are two very powerful features that can help you gain Insight on your Landing Page's performance and they serve the most relevant content to your audience both play a key factor in conversions and overall performance so with that being said let's first go over how to run an AB test for this landing page and really quick if you're new to AB testing let me give you an intro to What it is and why it's important so AB testing
also known as split testing is a methodical process used to compare two versions of landing pages to determine which one performs better in terms of achieving a desired outcome such as generating leads sales or any other form of conversions and in this testing approach the two versions a which is the control and B the variation are shown to different segments of visitors at the same time and the goal is to observe Differences in Behavior between the two groups and to measure the effectiveness of each version based on specific metrics like click-through rates conversion rates or
time spent on the page and this empirical approach enables marketers and web Masters to make data driven decisions about how to design and optimize their landing pages by systematically testing and optimizing landing pages businesses can enhance the user experience increase engagement and Improve the overall performance of their digital marketing campaigns and even if you're brand new to all this Zoho has an optimized feature in the landing page builder that allows you to easily get started with with AB testing so first things first click the optimize icon in the toolbar and then from the popup you
have two experiment options AB testing or personalization now please keep in mind that you can only run one experiment at A time so you can either do AB testing or personalization and we'll go through both examples in this tutorial but I just wanted to point that out as you're running your experiments okay first let's run an AB test so I'll select that experiment and this will open up the landing page builder but as you can see we are currently editing the first variant of the page this will be different than our original page and whatever
edits we make in this variation They won't transfer to the original page think of the variant as a completely separate landing page and you can toggle between the original and your variants here if you need to then staying in the toolbar if you look toward the right hand side of the screen you have the split traffic feature this lets you determine how much traffic you want to allocate to your variants and we'll do that in just a bit then there is a discard option this lets you delete The variant and then finally you could switch
the experiment to the personalization but keep in mind that this will discard your AB testing configuration and all of your variants except the original version will be deleted okay so the steps here are pretty straightforward you'll make your edits to the variant landing page to test against the original version of the landing page and the idea here is to make changes that you think will Potentially increase conversions so you could test different headlines different background images colors call to actions Etc and I'm speeding through this for the sake of time but once you've made all
of your edits to the variant it'll be time to allocate the traffic and to do that you'll click the split traffic icon in the toolbar and this gives you the ability to easily split traffic among the variants by default it's set to 50/50 but you can Change the percentages of traffic that each one receives by sliding those little levers left and right and then just for good measure if you recall you can toggle between the original and your variants by clicking this little hamburger icon towards the left of the screen and then you can view
each one or even add variants if you need to and I didn't make too many changes between the original in the variant but hopefully you get the idea and see how easy it is To run these split test experiments to increase conversions for your landing page campaigns okay next let me quickly go over the other personalization experiment that you can run so let's open the optimiz feature again and then this time I'll select personalization and this experiment gives you the ability to tailor content to individual visitors based on their preferences behaviors and demographic data this
approach leverages the power Of AB testing and data analytics to create multiple versions of a landing page each targeting a specific segment of the Audience by dynamically altering elements such as text images calls the action and layout in real time the experiment aims to present the most relevant and engaging content to each visitor and the underlying principle is that a personalized user experience can significantly increase engagement improve conversion rates and Foster a Deeper connection with the brand and Zoho breaks this down into Target audiences now you have the ability to create a custom target audience
here or you can select from one of their audience presets and as you can see you can personalize the page for direct visitors referral traffic social traffic Mobile Traffic Etc this lets you select an audience preset and then when Zoho recognizes traffic from that preset the visitor will be served the variant of The page designed specifically for this audience and let's do that right now so let's say I want to have a personalized experience for returning visitors to my landing page so just check that box to select that preset and then click the save audience
button and in a few seconds that experience will be created and you can begin making your edits to match that return visitor experience and think of experiences as variant they're separate From the original landing page but this time based on whether or not the person has visited the page already they will be served a different experience and each experience can be edited just like any other landing page and since this is for my return visitors I'll change the heading to say welcome back still time to get your ebook again this will only be served to
users who have visited the landing page but are now returning so tailoring the content to speak directly To that user's experience is a powerful tactic that can increase user engagement and conversions and again just like when we were creating our AB testing variant you can toggle between the personalized experience here as well and again you can toggle between the original version the experience and you can even add additional experiences if you need to okay that's going to do it for the optimization experiments moving on next let's go over how to Implement pop UPS in this
portion of the tutorial I'm going to show you how to create and add popups to your landing page and if we fast forward really quick you can see what that'll look like for example we'll be creating a popup that displays when the user moves their Mouse toward the top of the screen indicating that they're leaving the landing page the popup will then display and present the visitor with the lead form again this is A great tactic to increase conversions and drive leads to fill out your forms so with that being said let me show you
how to implement a popup on your landing page okay back at the landing page template to add a popup click on where it says popups in the toolbar and then click the new popup button and this will bring you to the pre-made popup templates just like the landing page templates these can save you a ton of time with the Design Zoho also separates the pop-ups into categories to help meet various campaign needs there are signup forms thank you popups contests subscribe campaigns and much more then if you look directly above the popup templates there are
different types of popups for you to choose from as well there's modal which is your typical popup the slide in which is what it sounds like it slides into frame presenting the popup and then banner and this is also pretty Self-explanatory but this displays a thin banner across the screen with a call to action all right with that being said let's go through the process of creating and implementing a popup on this landing page and again for this example my popup is going to contain a lead form that pops up when the user tries to
leave the landing page so once you find a template that you want to use hover your mouse over it and click on the pick Button next you'll be prompted to give the popup a title so go ahead and do that and then click the create button and then just like the landing page builder we have our popup Builder where you can begin styling it and really making it your own and navigating through this is pretty similar to the landing page template on the left we have some layout and element options this lets you change the
layout of the popup or add elements to it then toward The middle of the screen is the actual popup template and as you'll see in a few moments it's just like the landing page template in the sense that you can edit it in real time right here and if you look towards the upper left corner we have the design configuration and integration tabs and we're currently in the design portion of the Builder but I'll show you the configuration and integration sections in just a bit then moving towards the right of the toolbar We have another
way to access the configuration setting with that gear icon then next to that are the undo and redo options then the preview feature followed by the save and exit button all right so that's the popup template Builder next let's start building this popup okay so I actually like the two column layout so I'm going to leave that as is but I will change some things within the actual popup like the text the color and the image and I'll add a lead form as well and again for the sake of time I'm going to speed through
me making these edits but if you've been following along this entire video you'll see that the process here is pretty much identical to how we made the edits to our landing page template the pop-up template has elements within it that can be edited in real time it's pretty cool then to add a lead form click where it says add Form and this will bring you to the form Builder where you can select from previous forms that you've already created we have the landing page form here currently selected and it gives you a little preview of
that form on the right or you could build a new form by clicking the build your own form button and this will let you build a new form from scratch then towards the bottom of the screen you have the option to click the add button which will create a new Form that reflects the existing one or click the Clone and add button and that will clone the existing form but make it independent from your current form and that's what I'm going to do for this form so I'll click the Clone and add button and just
like that we have a cloned version of our landing page lead gen form that is now an independent form being used on the popup next it's time to style it and the steps to edit the pop-up form are very similar to the Other elements of the page and again I'm going to quickly go through this but hopefully you have a good idea on how to edit your form by now and I'm just going to change the button color really quick again I'm speeding through this for the sake of time but these tools make editing your
forms super easy okay next I want to swap out the image so let me do that really quick and I'm just using the same image of the ebook that I used for the landing Page there we go looks great how easy was that okay so we have our popup but if you look towards the upper left corner corner now there is also a thank you version of the popup and if you click on where it says thank you screen you'll see that when the user fills out the form on the popup they'll be presented with
this nice little thank you popup message this is a great way to enhance user experience give directions if needed or Drive traffic to other Offers but this thank you popup is a great little touch to the overall user experience plus it could be easily edited like everything else again I'm not going to make you sit through me editing this entire thing but you'd obviously want to change the color scheme switch the image being used and the copy again all of these are easily customizable and the steps are exactly like what we've been doing throughout this
entire video so again I hope you're Starting to get the hang of it okay we have our popup and thank you screen next it's time to set up the configuration so click that tab in the upper toolbar and it looks like we need to save the popup before we do that so click the save button and next it's time to configure the popup and set the triggers this will basically allow you to determine when the popup displays on your page and how The user will interact with it and you have a few options in terms
of how your popup behaves but for this example I want to display it whenever the visitor is about to exit the landing page so I'll check the box to select that trigger then by default it's set to always display every time someone tries to exit the page but that isn't necessarily a good user EXP experience that would actually be kind of annoying to me as a visitor so if you click this Little pencil icon you can configure when the popup will appear and you have a few options here but for my example I want to
show the popup until the visitor has filled out the form so after they fill out the form this popup won't display so I'm going to select to show the popup until the visitor has completed the defined action which is filling out the form okay we're all set so go ahead and click the save and next button and this will Automatically take you to the integration portion of the popup and we get this little notification letting us know that the configuration was successfully saved then these next steps are just like when we added the constant contact
integration to our landing page lead form but since we have a new form on this popup I'll need to integrate constant contact with it as well so I'll select email marketing from that sidebar list and then select Constant Contact then we'll go through the four integration steps again so I'll select the constant contact account that I want to connect to and then click the continue button next I'll select the list that I want to send these leads to so I'll open that drop- down menu and select the Zoho food ebook list and then click the
continue button next I'll need to map the fields and remember this is basically telling Constant Contact which field from Zoho to sync with and collect data from so I want the email field to map to the email field in Zoho then I'll select to add another field since this form has an email field and name field so I'll map the name fields really quick then I'm not enriching the data so I'll leave that as is and then click the continue button and success our popup form is integraded with Constant Contact so go ahead and click
the done Button and again Constant Contact has successfully been integrated with this popup we can tell by that green check mark all right let's exit this menu so click the done button in the upper right corner of the screen and that's going to do it for the landing page I realize I sound like a broken record when I say the white space below the footer isn't ideal and If This Were a real landing page that I was launching for an actual campaign I would Definitely fix that but for this demo and for the sake of
time I'm just leaving it as is okay moving on next let's publish this landing page and test the lead form okay a quick recap we have designed our landing page we've edited the various desktop tablet and mobile versions configured the SEO settings added a favicon set up the social preview cards configured the lead forms and popups and we are now ready to Launch and publish the landing page so whenever you're ready in the upper right corner of the screen to publish this page click the publish button next you'll be presented with the screen where you'll
be asked to create the slug for the page and this is what will follow the trailing slash after the domain and if you recall I use the free subdomain for this tutorial so that will be displayed here and then next to that we have the trailing slash and then in The field next to that is where you'll create the slug and this can be anything but when you're creating yours be sure to use dashes in between the words if needed and there we go so my landing page URL will be YouTube demo. Zoho Landing page.com
sfree recipe ebook then below that you have the option to schedule the launch of the page and publish and unpublish it during certain times just flip that switch and you could set a specific date for when this Page will be live this can come in handy if your campaigns are seasonal or have time constraints also you do have the option to add custom domain just click that icon and it'll walk you through the steps of connecting a custom domain to this page and remember if you have any questions about this I recommend reaching out to
Zoho support or leave a comment below I'd be happy to help out in any way I can and the reason I didn't go through the steps of a custom domain In this video or because the steps are very different due to which domain registar you're using so again I recommend reaching out to Zoho on this if you have any questions or hopefully you have a developer on staff that can handle your domains either way once the domain has been configured go ahead and click the publish button and since this is obviously my first time publishing
this page it may take a few seconds to actually load and Publish it to make it live so just sit tight really quick while it does its thing and I'm just talking here to take up some time but in a few seconds you should get a notification letting you know that the page has been successfully published and the URL of the page will be listed there as well then below that you have some sharing options and SEO configuration options as well and we'll cover that in just a bit but let's take a look at this
page and test it out so Click the copy icon to copy the URL then I'll head over to Google and I'll paste my landing page Link in the browser and beautiful page looks great apart from the white space below the footer but remember this is just a demo so I wouldn't normally leave this I'd add some space or another section below that but hopefully you're starting to see how easy it is to edit this page and fix issues like that with zoh Ho's landing page builder but apart from that The page layout and design looks
great and then if I move my mouse toward the top of the browser like I'm exiting the page awesome we get the popup with the lead form looks great and speaking of that let's test out the lead form and the lead flow so I'm going to fill out the form on the landing page and when I submit my info the action we set for this form submission was to redirect the visitor to my Google doc Ebook where they can view and download it as a PDF if they' like perfect the lead form behavior on the
Zoho side of things works next let's make sure the constant contact integration is working properly as well so if I head over to my constant contact list that is connected to this form you'll see that my Zoho landing page form submission has been successfully captured and added to my constant contact list this means that I can now Market to these leads using Constant Contact awesome okay moving on the last thing I want to cover in this tutorial are the internal Zoho tracking SEO and analytics features okay so now that you've successfully published a landing page
you'll now have access to Zoho powerful Suite of tracking SEO and analytics tools that can help you monitor performance track and report on lead data and much much more and it can all be done from your workspace which is Where we're at right now and as you begin creating landing pages they'll all be listed and accessible here in the workspace dashboard they'll even have some quick metrics on them like total visitors conversions conversion rate and the publish status of the page as well but that's just the beginning Zoho has a pretty amazing internal tracking and
analytics platform that you can access right here in the workspace starting with the lead data if you click on where It says leads you'll be taken to the lead dashboard where you'll be presented with graphs and data that display important metrics like overall leads conversions and visitors over time there's also metrics across the pages the lead Source device used and metrics across regions again this is a really amazing tool to help you mon and track your performance there's also a lead profile feature and clicking on that tab will allow you to access the user data
And each lead submitted to the forms on this landing page again very powerful data that can be easily accessed here all within your workspace dashboard okay next let me show you how to access specific landing page analytics so let's head back to the page workspace by clicking pages in the toolbar then within the workspace face click that 3 dot icon and from the drop down menu select page Analytics and again this gives you an awesome Suite of analytics to help you Monitor and track a ton of really important aspects of a specific landing page and
Zoho does a really good job of keeping this stuff userfriendly you don't have to be a data professional to navigate these reports and understand them for starters if you look towards the upper left corner of the screen Zoho has separated the analytics into three sections there's analytics leads and SEO Insights then on the leftand side there's a little sidebar menu that breaks down the different sections of whatever it is that you have selected and by default you'll be taken to the overall page analytics but this little menu helps you navigate and understand how your page
is performing for example we have the page overview analytics selected and on the right we get this great report that is similar to the lead report from earlier you get these great Graphs and data showing metrics over time Source device used and metrics across regions next if you click on popups in that sidebar menu we get the popup analytics if you have any popups enabled on the page moving on to behavior and this is a really cool feature the behavior feature within Zoho landing page analytics offers a deep dive into how visitors interact with your
landing pages the this tool tracks and analyzes various Actions taken by visitors providing insights into their engagement and preferences it can include heat maps and metrics such as click-through rates on different elements of the page how far down the page visitors scroll like the scroll depth the time spent on the page and the bounce rate now since I literally just published this page there won't be any data to view because there hasn't been any traffic sent to the page but let me show you a screenshot of what A live page will look like with this
Behavior analysis feature so here's an example of a landing page that Zoho has created and you can see that the heat map shows what visitors are engaging with and it's just a really cool and insightful tool next to that we have the heat map statistics again this is really helpful in letting you see how the audience is interacting with the page this information is crucial for understanding what captures the Attention of your audience what they're looking for and where they might lose interest or encounter issues and by EX examining these behaviors you can identify Trends
and patterns that inform optimization strategies for your landing pages I absolutely love this feature okay moving on to the form analytics this again is where you can access reports on how your lead forms are performing you have metrics over time average time to submit average time Spent on the form field level stats filled and blank field percentages and then even the average hesitation time and average time spent on each field this is such a robust analytics report that can help you really drill down and examine your lead form performance which will ultimately help you make
data driven decisions on what works and what doesn't work to increase your lead form conversions again this is such a helpful tool and I just love the Simplicity of It okay moving on to Google ads now I don't have a Google ads account linked to my Zoho account but if I did this is is where I would be able to view the Google ads report and for the sake of this tutorial let me show you an example of what the Google ads dashboard looks like once you connect your Zoho account to it as you can
see you get other great overview of the stats and analytics Zoho analytics seamlessly integrates with Google ads And enables you to easily analyze your Google ads campaign data and keep track of key metrics this helps product marketers create intuitive reports on your accounts campaigns ad groups and so much more then finally is the e-commerce analytics again I don't have any e-commerce apps or anything like that linked with this Zoho landing page account so there isn't anything here at the moment but again if I did this is where I could view the analytics and Reports for
my e-commerce aspect of the landing page and again for the sake of this tutorial let me show you an example of what the e-commerce analytics looks like once you connect your zoo account to it as you can see the e-commerce integration with Zoho analytics allows you to analyze and visualize your e-commerce store data in minutes by using the Zoho e-commerce Analytics tool you're able to track key metrics and extract meaningful insights share your Reports and collaborate with your colleagues stay up to date on trends of your e-commerce business and so much more so if you
have an online store and e-commerce is a key part of your business then I highly recommend using this Zoho e-commerce Analytics tool okay so that's the page analytics in a nutshell let's move on to the leads so if you click the leads tab in the toolbar you'll be taken to the lead list for this particular landing page and This is just like the lead list for the workspace but these leads are for the specific landing page that we have selected and you get the leads from the page lead form as well as the popup you
can even download the leads if you need to by clicking that download button towards the upper right corner there okay finally we have the SEO insights and clicking on that tab will give you the ability to generate some powerful SEO reports to help optimize Your Page's performance on the search engines and to get started just click the generate report button and in a few quick seconds you'll have an overview that shows you the serps preview of the landing page as well as total word count which are the total number of words on the page next
if you click on analysis within the sidebar menu you get a quick SEO analysis of the page that contains a Content analysis this is a list of words That often occur in your page along with the number of times they occur then below that are the link and image alt text details if you have any links or images on your landing pages then finally if you click on summary you'll get a checklist and indexing notifications alerting you to things that you have done and things you can do to improve your Page's SEO now I'm not
going to go into too much detail on these but I recommend reviewing them and Ensuring that you try to get them all to have green check marks and that's going to do it for the page analytics and SEO analysis again I can't stress enough how important these metrics are to a landing Page's success and the fact that Zoho includes these types of reports in the Zoho landing page account is a huge reason why I love and recommend them okay there are two quick tips I want to go over before we finish up first is how
to edit your page or even publish it so You can actually do that here in the p P analytics section if you look towards the upper right corner of the toolbar you can view the page or edit it by clicking either one of those tabs then if you click the three dot icon you'll be presented with some publishing options or you can completely unpublish the page Al together if needed also if we head back to the workspace by clicking the arrow in the upper left corner of the Screen and then click anywhere on the landing
page within the workspace this will take you to the Builder where if you look in the upper right corner of the screen there will be the 3 dot icon click that and you'll be presented with the publish options as well as the ability to unpublish the page I just thought that was sometimes overlooked and it could potentially be missed if you're brand new to the Zoho landing page but either way those are a Few ways you can change the published status of your landing pages okay the last thing I want to cover is how to
organize your workspace into groups so let's head back to the workspace SP by clicking the arrow in the upper left corner of the screen and if you haven't noticed already Zoho gives you the ability to organize your landing pages into groups within the workspace this can come in handy if you have multiple campaigns or A large team working on various projects the groups help you stay organized and keep things nice and neat in the back end of your workspace and all you'll do is click on where it says new group and then you'll be prompted
to name the group so I'll title this food campaign and then click the create button and we now have a new group that we can then assign landing pages to you can either create a brand new landing Page right here within the group by clicking the create new page button or you can assign a current page to this group so I'll go to my all pages list in my workspace and then to add a landing page to that group check this little box next to the one that you want to add and then click the
move to group button and you'll then get this little popup where you could choose the group you want to move to I only have one Group at the moment so it will be the only one listed there but find the group you want to move to you can even create a new group by clicking the new group icon towards the bottom there if you'd like but again I'm moving my food ebook landing page to my food campaigns group so I've selected that group and then clicked the move button and then you should get a notification
letting you know that that landing page has successfully been moved To that group it'll also be listed here within the group as well as the all pages section of the workspace but these groups help you stay organized with your pages and campaigns as you grow and continue to create more landing pages and there you have it we've journeyed through the comprehensive process of creating a captivating and high converting landing page using Zoho intuitive landing page builder from setting up your account to the intricate Details of design SEO optimization leveraging Zoho AI assistant Z to AB
split testing and Beyond we've covered the essential steps to ensure that your landing pages not only look great but perform as well and remember the key to a successful landing page is continuous optimization and personalization so make use of the insights and tools we discussed today in the video and keep improving and achieving your marketing goals so that's going to do it for this Video if you found it helpful I'd greatly appre appreciate it if you would like comment share and subscribe to the blog within YouTube channel also if you're thinking about starting a blog
