[Music] dear heavenly father as the day draws to a close and the evening falls upon us we come before you with hearts full of gratitude thank you for guiding us through the day for the strength you gave us to face every Challenge and for the joy you placed in our hearts during moments of Peace we are grateful for your constant presence for we know that you have been with us every step of the way Lord as we settle down for the evening we ask that you calm our minds and fill our souls with your peace
let the worries of the day fade away as we focus on your goodness and love help us to release any burdens we may be carrying knowing that you are in control and that your plans for us are good We Trust in your perfect will even when we do not fully understand it father we lift up to you all the people we encounter today family friends co-workers and even strangers we ask that you bless each one of them meeting their needs and filling their hearts with your love if there were moments when we fell short whether
in word or deed we ask for your forgiveness help us to grow in love kindness and patience so that we may reflect your light more clearly in all our interactions Lord we also pray for those who are struggling tonight those who are lonely sick or burdened by life's challenges may your comforting presence be with them surround them with your love and let them feel your peace even in the midst of their difficulties use us if it is your will to be a source of encouragement and support to those in need as we prepare to rest
we ask that you watch over us and our loved ones Keep Us Safe through the night and grant us peaceful sleep May our dreams be filled with thoughts of you and may we wake up refreshed and ready to face a new day with renewed strength and hope thank you Lord for the blessings of this day and for the promise of Tomorrow help us to always be mindful of your presence in our lives and may we seek to honor you in all that we do as we close our eyes tonight we place our trust in you
