so we recently just got a new place and for the past few months we've res researching for a house in the Hollywood Hills right quintessential Los Angeles house in the Hollywood Hills fat crib right 20 $30,000 a month and we applied for a ton of them and even though we have good income good credit we're entrepreneurs we're business owners we kept getting declin right decline decline decline decline decline and so what happened is it's all the YouTubers [ __ ] ruined living in a fat Crib in the Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles right now as
a landlord I would understand okay I don't want to rent to a bunch of [ __ ] the thing is is obviously we're not [ __ ] now we don't even leave the [ __ ] house most of the time decides to go to dinner so here's the thing with this all these real estate a we went through probably 20 30 different real estate agents and if you wanted a career in real estate right like and I understand okay leasing stuff you're not going to make that much money as compared to selling obviously luxury real
estate everyone wants this dream of you know this selling Sunset dream or this buying Beverly Hills dream about living in or you know living in La selling real estate making millions of dollars a year like a lot of these these really high level real estate agents do in LA they don't realize that these high level leases are where you meet the people who are going to buy from you so we noticed that every single one of them was [ __ ] lazy every single one of them was [ __ ] lazy now maybe we weren't
using the right people and you know they're very nice people but when you say we're looking for a house in this range and they are not constantly following up constantly following up hey I have this for you I have this for you I have this I scheduled a meeting for you guys for this one we just want to know what day we can move forward with this if I was a real estate in any city in the world whether it was Dubai whether it was La whether it was Miami I would [ __ ] lap
every single one of you and the reason is is because I would just simply follow up on everybody the power of the followup people say The Fortunes in the follow-up Fortunes in the followup they're absolutely right because if you have two young guys with supercars or three young guys with supercars they're business owners they're obviously high level people they're younger okay sure it might be a little bit of a harder sell to the landlord or something like that but these people are ready to move forward these people are motivated and this is a business lesson
as well when you have motivated people who are ready to move forward like myself the biggest thing that you should never do ever is drag your feet be lazy and not follow up we went through so many real EST are you still interested in this house 3 weeks later no we're not because we move forward with someone else and so realistically a lot of the time you guys are losing deals and you guys are losing a lot of business because you might have somebody that wants to move forward maybe they don't want to move forward
in this case in this example on the $5 million House in Beverly Hills maybe they just can't [ __ ] afford it right even if you're making a million dollars a year buying a $5 million house on a mortgage for 30 million $330,000 a month is a [ __ ] stupid financial decision now that being said if you were to rent a house at 20,000 okay these people are motivated these people want to move forward this is how you meet High Lev people who at some point are going to buy from you the way you
treat your customers in the beginning or your clients or your prospects in the beginning if you treat these people well these people are going to treat you well and so you have to provide a top level Quality Service regardless if you're selling real estate whether you're doing smma whether you're doing some sort of agency whether you're doing some sort of info product if you're doing some online business if you're not doing some online business you got to treat your customers with the highest level of respect that you possibly can you got to treat your clients
the best you possibly can I didn't get a Lamborghini by being a [ __ ] [ __ ] you have to like you have to follow up on these people you could make $2 million a year selling real estate in Los Angeles if you just simply followed up with people it's not about maybe it's about the cold calling about oh are you interested in selling your home if you're doing this if you're doing that I've never sold real estate if I did sell real estate I would [ __ ] destroy every single competitor that I
had I would be number one I would be the best because I wouldn't [ __ ] stop until the person that reached out to me that was looking for X Y or Z got exactly what they wanted or something along the lines of what they want this is how business is done you could beat Everybody by just simply being more tenacious the word of the day for this video is tenacity the more tenacity you have the more relentlessness you have in getting things done responding to messages fast making sure that problems are solved the faster
you're going to make money the faster you're going to do better in business this goes for every single thing the better you treat your customers the more that they're going to come back the better service you provide they're going to stay with you the better product you provide they're going to stay with you the more money you're going to make this is how you get a Lamborghini and an Aston Martin and a penthouse you treat people the best you possibly can you do the best you possibly can and every single thing that you do you
due to the top level and the top level of service you never provide a shitty service or a shitty product and if you do you better fix that [ __ ] right away another Point another point about this this is actually one of the craziest things I've ever seen so in December I walked into the Rolex store now I bought this Rolex my Pepsi GMT for about 20 grand and I bought it aftermarket so when I I walked into I I was in Philly and I walked into the Rolex store and I told the guy
I was like all right well what do you have for do you guys have anything for sale obviously sees I have a Rolex on and uh I tell them look I'm not interested in any of the base models I'm not interested in a Submariner I'm not interested in any of this I want a precious medals piece right something rose gold something yellow gold something maybe even platinum and even though I'm in a track suit the guy took me seriously so a few weeks later I about a week later actually I went down to Mexico for
Christmas and I was hanging out in Mexico the day I land in Mexico the guy tells me your day date is available so I got offered a retail Day date 40 mm chocolate dial rose gold beautiful piece one of my favorite watches ever and I said okay great I said I just got to I texted the guy I said I just got to Mexico um for my vacation for 2 weeks send me the payment link and I'll pay in full right now this is a $45,000 watch4 $45,000 watch I said great I'll pay right now
and I'll come pick it up in two weeks never responded never responded now this is right before Christmas this guy could have got his commission I'm a motivated buyer I said I will pay right now I said what's the price including taxes like 44 Grand or something I said I'll pay right now no response if you guys are in business and this is what made me mad now I love the watch and I wanted to buy the watch but I didn't buy the watch because out of principle out of [ __ ] principle I didn't
buy the watch because he didn't send me the payment link right away here I am I'm a motivated buyer me David 26 years old I want to buy a day date great send me the payment link and I will pay the guy doesn't send the [ __ ] payment link now I don't know what kind of uh problem you have to have in your brain when someone says I want to pay you 50 Grand right now send me the link and you don't send the link I don't know what kind of like uh processing problem
you have in your brain but I didn't buy the watch purely out of principle because that guy drug his feet didn't respond fast enough and two weeks later he said when do you want to come pick up your watch this guy could have got his commission right before Christmas right before the new year could have hit his hit his quota and could have been good to go and he decided to not send me the [ __ ] payment link so he lost out on a free $50,000 sale because I don't know maybe he just forgot
so this is bad salesmanship and when you're doing business you need to be on the [ __ ] ball if that guy was on the ball he would have sent me that payment link he would have gotten 4550 Grand right away off my off my AMX card and I would have went went and picked the watch up and been good to go this is this is a lesson because when people when people ask you for the price if you're selling something and people ask you for the price let's say someone someone's uh someone's trying to
sell me something I say okay what's the price I just want to know the price okay this is a buying signal so this is a buying signal so it's the same way as if a girl likes you and the girl's asking you okay well can we go back to your place it doesn't take an an idiot to understand what's about to go down now a lot of you guys you don't understand girl say oh well where do you live can we go back to your place and you be like oh I don't know but this
is a buying signal so you have to know when to spot buying signals so if you're selling something and someone says okay well what's the price on this right away I want to know the price on everything I buy right away what's the price okay how much does it cost the reason why is because I want to know if I'm just going to spend the money or not because I make fast decisions I buy [ __ ] all the time someone says to me this is a test because I want to know who I'm going
to work with if I say what's the price and the person doesn't tell me the price they well typically with most of our clients we look to do bro I'm not working with you I am not working with you because and and a lot of people might think this is a little bit a little bit ruthless or a little bit crazy if I'm if I'm successful I want to know the price right away I don't want to hear typically with our [ __ ] clients we look to [ __ ] [ __ ] do this
and this and this and this and this that's [ __ ] garbage because you are incompetent to not recognize what a buying signal is now if you can't recognize buying signals you are probably not going to be successful you're probably not going to be competent and you're probably not going to be able to do the job in the way that I want the job done or deliver the results that you're saying that you're going to be able to deliver make sure when you guys are selling [ __ ] you recognize buying signals and I might
do a full video on this cuz it's that important that being said if someone wants to buy something you give them the price and the payment link right away you I say this all the time in a lot of my paid programs you cannot sell anything if you don't put a contract in an invoice on it if you have no way to get paid then if if you were say oh yeah okay here you go yeah you give somebody the price and you don't send a contract you don't send an invoice how the [ __
] are you going to get paid always make sure you're giving people opportunities to pay you because if you don't there's a less lesser chance there's less of a likelihood that you get paid it's very simple the more contracts you send the more deals you open the more people you talk to the more invoices the more contracts you send the more follow-ups you do the more money you're going to make so take the Rolex lesson and make sure that you're recognizing when people are motivated when people are want wanting to buy and also if you're
buying stuff from other people recognize when they're full of [ __ ] e
