Hello hello, greetings and welcome back to the Amis Tejiendo Momentos channel, I am Esmeralda and today I bring you the tutorial to crochet this little Envy, continuing with the collection of the emotions of Inside Out in mini size, this is already the seventh emotion we are crocheting and there are nine, that is to say, we only need two more to finish the collection. This is how it's going so far, look how pretty they all are, and well, to crochet Envy I'm going to leave you here the list of materials that we're going to need, don't forget to subscribe to the channel, leave your likes and comments, they are always very helpful when you do it. You will also find this list of materials in the video description.
I am going to leave you here the list of stitches that you should already know to be able to crochet Envy, that means that you must already have prior knowledge in making amigurumis and an intermediate level of execution. This tutorial has subtitles in English and Spanish, so I recommend activating them because in addition to having the guide in writing, if there is an error in the tutorial I will correct it through the subtitles, and well, to crochet Envy let's start by making her legs. For the legs, we start with the color of the shoe, which is the same green that we used for the hair, and we are going to make a magic ring of 6 sc like this, with the last stitch we are going to change to the purple color of the pants like this, and in round number 2 we are going to crochet in BLO, that is, in the back loops only, and we are going to make 2 sc and 1 increase, 2 times, to have 8 sc and we make 3 rounds of the same 8 sc like this, in the first leg we can finish off and cut at that point, and we are going to make another leg exactly like this one, here I already have the two legs ready and what we are going to do is join them, so for that, to leave the color change towards the back of the leg, in this one that we are knitting we are going to make 2 sc, we hook on the other leg at the point where it corresponds, also leaving the color change towards the back, like this, and as in this leg we have 8 sc and in this also 8 sc, the joining round that is round number 6 will be 16 sc with the last stitch we are going to change to the lilac color of the dress, and in round number 7, we are going to make 2 sc and 1 decrease, 4 times, to have 12 sc the legs do not need to be filled, if you want, you can do it, but very little I am going to leave them like this, and now in round number 8, we are going to crochet in BLO, here in the back loops, and we are going to do the same 12 sc now, in round number 9, we are going to do 4 sc and 1 decrease, 2 times, to have 10 sc, and with the last stitch we are going to change to the purple color of the pants again Like this, we are going to fill the body, and now in round number 10, we are going to crochet in the back loops only, and we are going to do 3 sc and 1 decrease, 2 times, to have 8 sc, and with the last stitch we change to the green color of the skin like this, here I already changed to the color of the skin, and in round number 11, crocheting in BLO, we are going to make 2 sc and 1 decrease, 2 times, to have 6 sc like this, and now before continuing with the head we are going to make the skirt of the dress.
So for that we are going to take the lilac color again, and we are going to hook it in the loops that we left at the waist, we take like this from the back, in these loose loops that we left at the waist we hook the lilac yarn again, and here we leave 12 loops available, so what we are going to do in this first round of the skirt is 12 increases, to have 24 sc like this, and we make 3 rounds of the same 24 sc and this is how Envy's little dress looks, there we can finish off and cut, and we are going to continue with the head here where we are going, which is round number 12, which is the first of the head, we make 6 increases, to have 12 sc like this, and now on round 13, we make 12 increases, to have 24 sc we are flattening the stitches so that when we continue crocheting they will not be wrinkled, because there are several increases, and now on round 14 we are going to make 1 sc and 1 increase, 12 times, to have 36 sc like this, this is the width total head, then let's take some time here to flatten the points well, so that they are well located, that they are nice and not wrinkled, so that this part does not look bad when we go up, we flatten the base in such a way that it is something like that, and now we are going to make seven rounds of the same 36 sc So we go, now before continuing we are going to place the safety eyes, for that we are going to start counting from the first round of the head, which is this one here where we have the 6 increases or 12 sc, from there we count five upwards, and between rounds five and six, with six points of separation between the eyes, they will be located. So, first we put the pins to make sure that they are well centered and well located, and then we proceed to put the 7 mm safety eyes, without the plugs yet. This is how the eyes are already located, and now we are going to make the details of the eyes.
For that we are going to first take a strand of the green color that we will use for the hair, and with this strand we are going to take out the yarn from the upper middle point of the eye, here and we will keep it again at the lower middle point of the eye, here like this, and we do the same in the other eye. This is how it should look, we are going to leave this strand here suspended for a moment, and we take a strand of white yarn, and now we are going to take out the white yarn through a point next to where we took out the first yarn here, and we keep it too a point next to where we have the yarn at the bottom, here like this, and we do the same in the other eye, like this. Envy does not have eyelashes so we will move on to making the eyebrows, and for that we are going to locate the two central points between the eyes, after placing the eyes there were four points between them, then we are going to place the two in the middle to be able to make the eyebrows well, and two rounds upwards from the eyes.
Then, next to those two central points that we placed, and two rounds above the eye, here, we pull out the yarn and we are going to keep it two points and one round below where we have the beginning, here like this, and we are going to make a second pass the yarn because Envy's eyebrows are a little thicker, so we do the second pass of the yarn here, like this and we do the same on the other eye, that is, we take out here on the other side of the two central points, here two points to one side, and on the bottom wound we save and do the second pass and that would be all for Envy's eyebrows, the details of this little girl's eyes, and now we are going to put the safety eyes plugs, trying to fix the yarn on the inside of the head so that they do not move, and we also fill the neck, and now on round 22 we are going to do 4 sc and 1 decrease, 6 times, to have 30 sc on round 23, we make 3 sc and 1 decrease, 6 times, to have 24 sc we begin to fill the head, and now on round 24, we are going to make 2 sc and 1 decrease, 6 times, to have 18 sc we continue filling, and now on round 25, we are going to make 1 sc and 1 decrease, 6 times, to have 12 sc and we finish filling the head, and we make 6 decreases. At that point we can finish off, we are going to cut leaving a tail for finish closing the head with the wool needle, we cut, and now we are going to pass the yarn through the six front loops of the stitches that were left, we pull, we introduce through the center, and we take out through the back of the head and that's it, this is how Envy's body looks like, and now we are going to make the arms. For the arms, we start in the skin color making a magic ring of 5 sc like this, with the last stitch we are going to change to the lilac color of her dress Here, and now in round number 2, crocheting in BLO, here in the back loops, we are going to make the same 5 sc like this, and now we make 3 rounds of the same 5 sc so the little arm is ready, we are going to make another one exactly the same, and we leave a tail to sew in both cases.
We are going to sew them now to Envy's body, on the side and side, here, just below her neck, I am going to sew them and show you how it looks. This is how the arms are already sewn, this is how Envy's body looks, and now we are going to do her hair. For that we start by making a magic ring of 6 sc on round 2, we make 6 increases, to have 12 sc on round 3, we make 1 sc and 1 increase, 6 times, to have 18 sc on round 4, we make 2 sc and 1 increase, 6 times, to have 24 sc in round 5, we make 3 sc and 1 increase, 6 times, to have 30 sc Thus, this would be the base of the hair, and now we are going to work in strands, and for that we are going to start by making 13 chains and starting from of the third chain from the hook, we make 11 hdc, we skip a stitch at the base, in the next we are going to make 1 sl st, but taking only the back loop, in this entire round of strands we will only take the back loops when closing, like this, and before continuing we are going to take the doll, we are going to measure that the strand we woven is approximately like this, Envy's hair is very short, so it should be something like this, so you can correct if it is too long or too short, and we are going to make nine more strands until we complete 10, of the same 13 chains and 11 hdc, here I have already made the 10 strands, here you can see the free loops that we left, and now these last strands are going to be as follows, we are going to make 11 chains starting from the third one from the hook, we make 9 hdc for these strands yes we are going to take the complete stitch, we skip one at the base, in the next we make 1 sl st, and we make 11 chains again and 9 hdc in this case we do not skip one stitch but two, we skip two, and in the next one we make 1 sl st, like this, and we are going to make another strand exactly the same, and we also skip two points to close like this, and to finish we make the last section of 11 chains and 9 hdc and we close this is how this base of the hair looks, the last four strands will be the ones that will go to the front of the head, and the other 10 will cover the entire back part, but we still need to do the second hair layer.
So, for that we are going to go to the first available strand that we have here, we make 1 sl st there to start with this second layer of hair, and we are going to make 12 chains and starting from the third chain from the hook, we make 10 hdc. We skip a stitch at the base, in the next we make 1 sl st, each of these strands that we are going to make will go on top of the other, like this, and we are going to make nine more strands of the same 12 chains and 10 hdc. And here we have already made the 10 strands, there we can finish off and cut, I am going to glue with silicone so I will not leave a tail, and we are going to place the back of the hair on the head first, that is, the 10 strands that we made first, these here are the ones that cover the entire back of the head.
This is the bottom part of the hair, so this is how we place this first part of the hair, we start with the 10 back strands, leaving approximately 3 points behind each eye and we are going to put the 10 strands at the back of the head, distributing them well, we are not going to glue these first strands all the way down, but more or less up to the direction of the eye, because the idea is that we can place Envy's hairstyle raised as it goes in this part, it goes a little looser, so we are only going to glue it up to this point, and then with the other 10 strands that we woven we are going to place them on top of the previous ones, also leaving the tip part free, to be able to give it volume to Envy's hairstyle, I'm going to glue them together and show you how it looks. And this is how it looks, this is how the two layers of hair look on the back, so we can give it a little bit of the volume that this needs. Now, in the two front strands, approximately in the middle of the strand, what I did was make a couple of passes with the purple yarn to make the pins she has, on this side I put silicone on them so they don't move.
This is how they look, and now to locate these strands from the front, we are going to glue this one more or less up to the same level of the eye, from the top of the eye, a little back, also as always I recommend you look at the final photographs of the amigurumis that I upload to my social networks, so that you can see these details in detail, pardon the redundancy, and can make them as similar as possible, then you can find me on both Instagram and Facebook as @amistejiendo, so you can see these photos, Here we place this strand, we are going to also place the one on the other side and the last strands that we are missing, and making sure that this part is well down, we are going to put them one to one side, like this, and the other to the other side , I'm going to glue these strands in position making sure they are well distributed and I'll show you. And this is how Envy's hair finally looks, look how pretty and how tender this little Envy looks, and now we are going to do the last details with white acrylic paint. So, with this white paint and a very fine brush we are going to make some details.
First, we are going to load the tip of our brush with white, quite loaded so that we can make the dots of the eyes, in such a way that all we have to do is put the brush gently and it is round, in this way, something like this, and we do the same in the other eye, in the same direction, taking care that they are well located like this, and we make a second smaller white dot, reloading the brush less, just like this, touching gently like this, and that's it, this is how Envy's little eyes look, look how pretty they look, and now we are going to do the same on the clothes, because Envy's dress has white dots around it, so we load the brush well of paint, and we are going to make dots like this all over the dress and this is how Envy's dress looks, look how pretty and how tender she is, and now also with light blue acrylic paint or with a colored pencil like mine, I I am using these pencils that are watercolorable, and when I wet the tip they mark on the fabric without problem, but you can also do it with paint. So I'm going to do the freckles that she has here, on the part of her nose in blue like this, that would be all for these freckles, and lastly we're going to put a little blush on her cheeks something like that, we'll also put a little blush on the part of the nose, but very little so as not to cover the little blue freckles that we simply did something like that, and well this is how this little Envy looks, just look at how beautiful she is, and how tender she is.
