Terrence clearly saw them and then he weighed in. Here we go. Ryan Garcia, you're one funny guy, I tell you.
You're really a movie character. That's why I'm entertaining you. You have absolutely nothing and I mean nothing to be jealous of, kid.
It seems like you're the jealous one. Mad because I retired my way. It's okay.
Just take note and you'll be okay. That second line tripped me up because it seems like he's saying like you have nothing to be jealous of, but I think he means like I have nothing to be jealous of. Definitely.
Yes. Anyway, he continued, "It's okay, Ryan Garcia. I'm going to let you live because you got way too many people to worry about other than me, boy.
" Devin Haney, Keshan Davis, Shakor Stevenson, Richardson Hitchens, Tfhimo Lopez, them guys who you need to worry about, not me. I know you want that check though. Winking emoji.
I'm loving it. Hey. Hey.
I know a man with a plan. I know when he laying low and playing slow. Yes sir.
You hear me? You know. I know bud.
Yeah, I know. I know. You know.
Say he want to fight you for real though. Everybody want to fight. No.
This this guy mean he say he call you out say you be hating on him and he tired of you hating on him. Say he going to put a stop to that. [laughter] Man, who that?
Ryan. What about Terrence Crawford? No, not at all.
He uh I despise him. So inspiration, despising just, you know, kind of go together in a way. Well, the reason the reason I'm asking is you obviously had a pretty lively exchange online where he's he's a little bit of a hater, Piers.
Um he he just doesn't like my success. He watches my fights with um he hate watches my fights. Um him and his little crew, him Shakur, you know, they don't like how successful I am.
They don't they don't think I deserve it or whatever they think, but they they definitely watch with hate. I think that's the one. I think we're not there yet, but I think we're like a year and a half, two years away.
What do you think? Oh, I don't mind that. I want to avenge Canela's loss.
I want to avenge um I just want to beat his ass to be real. I want that. He knows that I want that.
Um I I'm willing to test him to see where he at, you know, but will he come back out of retirement? I don't know. He knows he has to.
Nobody knows who the [ __ ] he is. He has to come back to boxing. He knows that though.
He could see that the security didn't even know who the [ __ ] he was. That's a problem. [laughter] Uh did you see being away from the game?
Enjoying not not away from the game cuz you obviously commentating now, but just in retirement in general. How has it been? Great.
Great. I've been enjoying enjoying the hell out of it. You know, I don't got to I don't got to worry about nothing.
All I got to do is enjoy life, travel the world, um, and be He not really He not really retired in his heart. He retired on paper, but not in his heart. What is the Let me get a thank you because I'm the one that pushed it out of him.
Like, bro, you know you got more on the plate. What are you doing? You retired for what?
Like, I know what he's doing. Like, he knows that he he didn't do everything he needed to do in the sport yet. So all I did was question him.
He knows it's the truth and that's why he's entertaining it. So do you think he's doing this so that people beg him to come back? Um I think that's a bit of his game plan.
That's it. He picked Conor Ben to beat you. He don't like me.
That's what it is. And it's cool. Come get this smoke then.
[ __ ] the not liking [ __ ] Let's fight. But why doesn't the issue? He's jealous of me.
He knows that. He He can't deny that fact in him. He's like, "Damn, I don't really like this fucker.
" Cool jealousy, [ __ ] I'll beat the [ __ ] out of you. I'll beat the jealous out of you. How about that?
Regarding for Ryan to fight. What about him and Crawford? Do you like the fight?
Crawford's retired. What if he came back for him? He's not coming back.
He not coming back to 47 for sure. So, he's retired. No, he's retired.
The entire boxing world just got flipped upside down in the blink of an eye. Nobody saw this coming, especially not the pound-for-pound king sitting in the front row. Ryan Garcia just sent a shock wave through the sport by completely dismantling Connor Ben in a devastating second round stoppage.
Fans expected a grueling war and critics swore the larger aggressive Ben would be way too much for the explosive puncher to handle. Instead, Ryan closed the show before people even settled into their seats. This massive upset forced the biggest names in boxing to eat their words, and the bad blood is officially spilling out of the ring.
Damn. I said it. No, you did not.
No, you did not. No, you did not. No, you did not.
What did I say? Hold up. Hold up.
Hold on. Hold up. Time out.
Time out. Get the clip. Get the clip.
See, look. I came back over. I said if he can handle uh Ryan's power, then Ryan's going to be in trouble.
He can't handle it. He didn't have the knockout. It's the fight game.
Congratulations, Ryan. He did. He did.
Leading up to the fight, nearly everyone banked on Ben's sheer aggression to overwhelm the flashy superstar. Terren Crawford boldly picked Ben, claiming that a great game plan and heavy shots could easily neutralize Garcia's offense. You don't have to give a prediction or a pick, but can you give some insight into how you see this fight playing out?
I'm picking Conor Ben. Why is that? I just think that if he can take the punches, [music] he's going to be, you know, a rude style matchup for Ryan.
I think, you know, if Ryan comes in and he can show his power and [music] get Ben to respect him or hurt Ben, then Ryan's going to win for sure. But if he can't, then he's going to lose this. What is your prediction?
Conor Ben, victory. [music] What? What round?
What round? by knockout or decision, whatever, he's going to win. What about Conor Man has an advantage over Ryan Garcia that you think he's going to win by knockout?
I don't think I don't think Ryan if he don't land a left hook and he don't win. He wasn't the only expert banking on an upset. Former super lightweight champion Regis Pro Graves openly admitted that while Ryan was the sharper boxer, he still backed Ben to pull off the victory in a dog fight.
What's your thoughts about that fight if it happens? I think it's a great fight. My pick my pick out a bit.
I pick out a bit. I think that I think that Ryan is a better fighter. But if they get to a fight which might happen, I will pick I will pick not.
He's not that skilled. He's a raw fighter. You know, he's just a raw fighter.
He wants to get height. So, did they get to that? Did they get to that fight?
How they make that? You think he'd be better Conor Ben obviously was made about the weight train. You think he'd be better at 47 or going up to 54 to try and make that fight?
I think at 54. I think cuz at 47 he might be the thing has a lot of power, but I saw everything coming. That's the only thing.
kind of been a little bit. You know, you can test people if you if you think about speed, but like I say, he hit hard. I mean, you can see it coming.
If you load up, respected trainer Kenny Ellis echoed that sentiment, claiming Ben possessed a much higher pain tolerance that would ultimately drain Ryan's energy. Now, a guy y'all y'all in the ring with across the ring from Ryan Garcia, he's about to fight Connor Ben. As a coach, how would you break that fight down?
Not necessarily who gonna win, but if you want to, who you think win that fight as well? Um, Garcia is the better boxer. If he don't get Conor Ben out with that hook, I think Connor been without tougher, but Garcia got the better IQ.
But is he tough enough now that the hook ain't working, right? You understand what I'm saying? So, if if he can take the hook, I'm going with Conor Ben.
Gotcha. Now, I did see a knockoff really kind of been a knock. Even twotime world champion Carl Frampton warned that Ben's relentless pressure could make Ryan quit, comparing it to his first career loss against Jervant Davis.
I just don't think he can fight any other way. Like, he can't suddenly get up on his toes and try and outbox Garcia. I think the only way he has a chance to win this fight is by breaking Garcia's heart, [music] but because of him getting down to 147, can he fight at the pace that he normally fights at?
He's a fit lad though, aren't he? He's very fit. He's very fit.
But it's the weight the weight I think is going to play a big role in this fight. Boxing legend Teddy Atlas gave Ben a serious chance to impose his will and Crawford's own trainer, Brian Bulac McIntyre, confidently predicted the British fighter would absolutely destroy the young star. The industry was practically unified in betting against Ryan's chin and heart.
I got Connor winning. I I think when you put Ryan in some fights with dogs, I don't think Roy's that good of a fighter. I think Roy's a dog though.
Right. You put him in retain another another talented athletic dog. Right.
You see how that ended? And Ryan's either gonna have to take that out of Connor's hands by knocking him unconscious or he's going to have to show that he has dog in him that Connor Ben is calling out saying you don't have that in him. He's going to have to show at some point that no, I got he made that he made emphasized that on an interview like look listen I listen you are great.
You are but I watch you stop. I watched another fighter make you stop and then when you think about that I'm like damn. But to that makes a good point.
He did make a good point but to Ryan's credit he did get off the canvas against a gold medalist and Luke Campbell and score a knockout. So I think he deserves that credit. No I'm talking about dogs.
I'm talking about you unleashed a collar and you put him in there with a dog. Luke ain't no dog. He a good fighter.
He ain't no dog though. Conor Ben. That's a dog.
Ain't no That's a pretty good bark. Yeah, it is. [laughter] You been practicing at home Shady.
Hey man, you know I come from dogs. No, I agree. I agree.
I agree with Shady. I think that there there are kinds of fighters there are certain kinds of fighters that as I said you have to take the decision out of their hand. You got to you got to short circuit so that their their legs go so that they're unconscious cuz as long as they're conscious they're never going to stop.
They're going to come at you. I think Connor is that kind of guy. I do.
Yeah, definitely. You have big news on Virgil Ortiz. He's boots.
Yeah, Virgil Ortiz, right? He hasn't fought now in a while. I think it was last November against Eriken Luben.
He had the the legal issues with Golden Boy that have now since been resolved. I'm told he's looking at returning the second week of November and he could be moving up to 160. And I'm told if he goes to 160 Max, he's staying at 160.
We just talked about how bad of an idea it is, right, to go up and down. And that's So wait, are you telling us now that Virgil Ortiz's next fight will be at middleweight? I think it's more likely than not that yes, it will be at middleweight.
And there's four names they're looking at. Jerome Charlo, Arizona, Tim Zoo, and Carlos Adamus. They want a big- time fight and they think the fights are a 160.
They explored a fight. I This is in talking with Rick Morigian, Virgil's manager. They explored the fight with Fendor.
Fondor's fighting is mandatory. They explored the fight with Bennis. They said they've been talking for five weeks now and they're told that Boots is going in a different direction like we said.
So, they want to move on. And Virgil Ortiz, that's you guys. I ain't mad at him, bro.
I ain't mad at him. He Everybody fighting, so he got to do something. I think him and Tim Zoo, I would love that fight that supposed to happen.
Remember a couple years ago? Fun fight. What do we talk about though?
See what you what Shadyy's reacting to who played in the NFL, the National Football League where the greatest athletes in the world play because unlike, you know, like people who are fans of soccer teams and stuff, that sport does not select out for size. If if if the Martians have the death beam pointed at the earth and say, "Bring us to your greatest athlete. " You know, you might bring them to Lamar Jackson, right?
You might bring him to someone who plays a full contact sport, has to be fast, strong, coordinated, be a leader, think fat, the whole thing. So, you're used to the structure of the NFL where the greatest athletes in the in the world play best play the best, right? Where the best play the best.
You're used to, oh, the Patriots beat the Broncos, the Rams beat the lost to the Seahawks. So, now the Seahawks play the Patriots. It's easy.
And in boxing, the the Broncos or the Patriots go, "Uh, we're not going to play the Seahawks or the Rams. We're going to play someone else in the AFC who's not as good as we're going to call that a championship. " And we're leaving all this on the table.
We're not creating a new generation of boxing fans because unlike what they're used to in every other sport, the best don't fight the best. How can Virgil Ortiz and Boots and Fendura all be in the same division? And already one of them is leaving because he can't get a fight with the other two.
It's a problem. It is a problem. And I want to say though, I think it's a good idea politically to go to 160.
If you're not going to get Fondura and you're not going to get boots next, why sit around and do a tuneup? I think it's a good idea. Go right to 160.
Fight a Lar. Fight a Zoo. Fight a Charlo or Is Zas officially moving to 60?
I believe he is. I don't know if See, that's what Shadyy's reacting to is yes, those are all good fights. Just like if the Patriots would have decided to just play another good AFC team, we would have watched and said, "Oh, it's a good game.
Yeah, I'd like to see that matchup. " But it ain't the Super Bowl. We're not creating the Super Bowls of boxing.
And the Super Bowl happens every year. The NBA championship happens every year. The boxing Super Bowl happens every 10 years when Canelo and Crawford fight, when we finally after a decade get Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather.
And a lot of times by the time the Super Bowl is played, the guys are past their prime. This is no way to organize a sport. And Max, you said it.
I can't even follow up after that. That was great how you just said it because everything you're saying, that's how I think. And my thing is I'm not making these names up, right?
You know, I love Boots, right? And Virgil is a really good fighter. But the reason why we talk about them so much is because only they're they're in the same weight division one, but two is y'all was saying it.
Y'all two was saying each other's name and had everybody, oh my god, he's this the next fight. And then we thought we was getting Virgil and then we get Boots and now we don't get either. That's crazy.
I mean that that's a [laughter] fact. He's talking about the fact of the matter on boots on Boots. And is he are are they not fighting Virgil because he wants to unify?
Yes. Is that the reason? Yes.
And that's why you have an issue with all these having four titles in each weight class. That's why it can be an issue. Boots wants to unify titles.
You can't blame him, right? We're telling you. Obviously, the biggest fight would be him.
The problem is people networks especially, someone has to step in and break the cycle where people are glorifying sanctioning body titles. It to me a sanctioning body title is like college football. you win a bowl game, but it's not for the national title.
It's a distinction, but it shouldn't be holding up big fights and the sanctioning bodies more often than not. The reason given, oh, I'm trying to unify the titles, he doesn't have a belt, is it's one of the reasons we don't get the fights we actually want. Coming up, we talk Zufatan in Ireland and Aaron McKenna.
This is inside the ring. Oh, you hurt my heart. [music] The first rule of the zone ultimate.
The first rule. The first rule. First rule, you do not pay.
You do not you do not pay. You do not pay. The Ultimate Fight Night is here.
Second rule, the zone Ultimate is. Second rule, you don't pay because Ultimate gives you a minimum of 12 pay-per-view fights a year at no extra cost. You do not pay.
Join us ringside and welcome to the Zone Ultimate. Then came the ultimate ringside reality check. Influencer Nina Drma actually caught Crawford on camera predicting a Garcia loss just moments before Ryan unleashed the final devastating combination.
Sitting right there at ringside, the undisputed champion was forced to swallow his pride. Afterward, a humbled Crawford finally gave Ryan his props, acknowledging a massive miscalculation as Ben hit the canvas. The chaos certainly did not stop there as the rest of the boxing elite immediately exploded with reactions.
Ryan is the world at his feet. Ryan has boxing at his feet and I am pleading. Ryan, listen to me, bro.
Be the face of boxing. You can save our sport. Literally, uh, you've got everything.
Just stay focused, keep disciplined, keep doing what you're doing. These last couple performances have been so good. Um, he needs to keep this up and he needs to keep fighting.
And I also like the fact that he's had a couple losses. You know, he he he's he's he's a little bit old school. Ryan's willing to fight anybody.
Obviously, we've seen that. So, he's an old school in that in that way. Um, he's ready to whisk risk everything, and that's we need guys like that.
Um, he's also just thrilling and exciting. He builds a he builds a fight really well. Uh, he's he's on the mic.
He's gotten really good. Um, his attitude that he carries from the press conference to the to to the ring are equal, which is some very sometimes hard to to to do. Um, and he goes out there and he fights and he and he he fights and and he's trying to knock you out.
He's got a mean streak. He's good for boxing. Um, and that the guys that he can bring to our sport are a big deal.
So, um, I hope he is as focused as he seems these last two fights, Barios and then this fight, he looked spot on, right on the money. Um, hopefully we can keep that up and I think he I think he's getting more mature. He's getting older and he's starting to, you know, he's figuring this all out.
So, uh, it's tough, man. Stop being stop being famous in your early 20s. I wasn't famous my early 20s.
It would have been tough and he's had to deal with that for a long time. And I think his maturity is really starting to show itself. Um if if he keep keeps this locked in, boxing is in a really good place for a couple years because he can be that guy.
Devin Haney wasted no time criticizing Ben's reckless defense, pointing out that fighting a wildly explosive puncher without defensive responsibility is a guaranteed disaster before heavily teasing a potential rematch of his own. All right, thank you. Was you surprised with that?
And Deon, were you surprised with his performance or what you expect with that? Um, no. I was surprised.
Um, and Conor didn't have that much. What do you think went wrong with Conor? Was it just the weight or did he just come out too aggressive trying to prove a point that he was at 100%?
I think he was trying to be too aggressive and he wasn't um like he wasn't defensive. He's not defensively sound enough. Yeah.
Um, so yeah, Brian said he next once he was heard Brian said he will kick your ass, bro. What's he say? He didn't say that.
What did he say? Listen, he didn't say get up in that ring next. So we don't want to hear that [ __ ] Hey Kevin, why did he invite Tio and not you?
You're the fight to make. You're the fight to make. We're going to do it.
We're going to do it for Undisputed. Yeah, for Undisputed. Um Devin, what's next for you, man?
The brother. We'll see. Yeah.
Cool. Appreciate you, De. Yeah, new man.
Hey, how'd you see it? I I knew that [ __ ] was going to happen. Yeah, you know, Ryan, you like Ryan?
You right. I knew I knew I No, no, I won't say that. I knew that [ __ ] was going to happen.
I knew that [ __ ] Meanwhile, Shakur Stevenson praised the tremendous performance, noting the contest was effectively over instantly. So, Ryan, you could tell like he came with the perfect game plan. He knew what kind of Ben was going to Connor Ben was going to do.
He knew that kind of Ben was going to be aggressive. he's going to put that pressure. And while Conor Brown was on that front foot, Ryan was heavy on the back foot using the using the ring.
And you know, they studied Conan, man. They they he knew what they were going to do. And um he he got him up out of there.
I did not think that he was going to get him out of there quick. I actually thought like Ryan was going to win by decision. Um, I thought it was going to be like a little rough back and forth towards the middle half and the end of the fight, you know, due to fatigue and whatnot, but man, he got that boy up out of there real quick.
I ain't going to lie, once I watch the first round and I'm seeing Ryan kind of catch him with that hook, I'm just like, ah, like and he kept lining it up to where it like almost missed Connor Bin at times, too. I'm like, yeah, this is not going to this not going long. Cuz if Connor keeps getting caught with them shots, he's going to go down.
And then lo and behold, that right hand put him down in the second round and then Ryan just got him up out of there. Now I do wish now granted the the stoppage was a good stoppage but I do wish it lasted a little longer just because Conor R was still aware like you know but man I I do think that it would have just been a matter of time as well too though cuz Ryan was just he came out sharp that's like Ryan he was on the money and um it was very impressive. I love seeing Ryan when he's like that.
That is the Ryan Garcia that everyone in boxing know and love. And you could really put him against all these other guys at 147 and you could see a real like meaningful matchup. You know what I'm saying?
Like they're they're they're really solidifying the thing with him and Devin. Uh him and Tafimo Shakur is getting himself in the mix talking about that they will be the biggest fight in the division in boxing period. And that's that's what we need, bro.
That's what we need to keep that keep it alive with all these guys fighting each other. You know, win, lose or draw, we're here. You know what I'm saying?
The criticism just kept pouring in for the defeated British star. Tony Below claimed Ben jumped far too many levels way too fast and paid the ultimate price. You can't jump up the the levels as quickly as that.
You know, you've got to go through them bit by bit. And you fight gatekeepers for a reason. You fight, you know, fringe world champions, fringe contenders for a reason.
and he's just jumped too many levels too quickly in my opinion tonight. What did you make of it? I mean, was it stopped too early, do you think?
You seem to think so, Tony. We'll get stuck into that. Yeah, I think it was a little bit premature.
Um, he was still ducking and diving and I think most of them last barrage of punches he kind of blocked a little bit, but um I think the writing was on the wall after that first round. He were getting caught quite clean. So, I'd have liked to seen a few more rounds of it.
the fact that he took the uppercut in the first round, excuse me, the upput in the first round, I thought, "Oh, okay. You're absorbing it. " Okay.
And he's taking a good He took a couple of clean left hooks and he shucked him off and he went forward. But I think you said it on the button. As soon as you said it, he went down.
When it when when you get it on the button like that, I mean, it was a heavy right hand that he misses the left hook and the right hand that nails him. Was was a hefty one. Just a wicket.
Chris Eubank Jr. immediately mocked his fallen rival, aggressively trolling Ben and welcoming him to the club of fighters making weight cut excuses. With the combat sports community completely buzzing, the Garcia camp is actively refusing to take the high road.
They are totally tired of being doubted, and Ryan's father went straight on the offensive. He aggressively targeted the vocal critics, labeling them all as nothing more than bitter individuals who refuse to accept Ryan's true greatness. The frustration pouring out of Team Garcia is intense.
Born from years of feeling entirely disrespected by the boxing establishment. It's hard. He's hard to beat.
So, I hope they didn't bet because if they did, they lost. And I'm so glad. I don't even got animosity anymore.
After you win, kick ass, drain, you say. [laughter] What do you got to say? Right.
The thing is, when hate messes your um your legend that bad, you can't even be mad at them. I would respect them more if they told the truth. Ryan should win this fight.
I don't really [ __ ] with him, but he should win. That makes sense. When you go and try to say Con is going to knock me out, do all this goof and [ __ ] Like, bro, I always, no matter even if I don't really like you and what you're saying, I will always know what to say because I I follow the truth.
This is what it's going to be, bro. He's a great fighter. I don't think you fought the best.
I don't think that you fought everybody at their prime. Now, is that me being hated or just speaking facts? But Ryan really undefeated.
That's it. Henry, you're un we're undefeated still. They view this monumental knockout as absolute proof that Ryan is practically unbeatable right now.
More importantly, they see Terence Crawford as the undeniable ring leader of these relentless doubters and they are officially declaring war. Just last one for me. All week Connor questioned your heritage.
You walked out, the entire arena was, you know, three colors. What was that experience like for you? I mean, just goes to show you, you know, you can't be listening to those Instagram comments.
I mean, it was basically trolls and bots the whole time. And, uh, it showed how many people really support me, how many people really love me, and um, it made me very happy to see. Ryan, we saw yourself and Connor exchanged some words post fight.
What did you guys say to each other? Uh Connor uh he spoke some really kind of words to me and um I'm going hold those very true to me, you know, and I really um I think that he's uh he's an all right dude. He's an all right dude and I have a new level of respect for him, fellow Christian brother, and uh I hope the best for him.
I hope he could come back and uh do great things in the sport. Riding the absolute highest wave of momentum in his entire career. Ryan took direct aim at Crawford's heavily protected legacy.
This wasn't just standard fight promotion. It was a deeply personal reality check. The rising star claimed he held no actual animosity, but then dropped a massive bomb on Crawford's resume.
He stated that while the Nebraska native might be a great fighter, he simply hasn't fought the absolute best opponents. Taking the disrespect even further, Ryan insisted that Crawford aggressively avoided fighting elite names while they were actually in their prime. Man, is is he capable of challenging a guy like that that's considered an all-time great, you know, pound-for-pound fighter and all that?
Oh, absolutely. I mean, anything can happen in boxing, man. Uh, and everybody is human at the end of the day.
Everybody believes Terence Crawford, he's made a statement in the sport of boxing and he's one hell of a fighter, but Ryan Garcia is a hell of a fighter as well. And I think uh it's boxing, man. Anything could happen.
And you see with Terren Crawford, he he's gotten hurt in the past before. So uh I wouldn't doubt me if Ryan Garcia were I said the same thing. People kill me, went after me.
I know that. But you're the champion. You're the Olympian.
You You just got to speak the facts, man. You got to speak the facts and you got to say what real is, man. I mean, at the end of the day, I don't want to be around the bush or sugar sugar coat things, man.
I just want to be straightforward for all the fight fans, man. So that way they could, you know, recognize the drill. Ryan, speed, power, size.
Speed, power, size, timing. Uh, and uh, like I said, man, if if he catches you with a shot like like he did, Connor, man, it's going to be hard for you to, you know, recoup because that those shots right of the brain and then after that, he's on top of you. So, plus Ryan, the problem is if comes to the arena, fight, Ryan, security may not recognize him, but they let him in the arena anyways.
But then also, you got to know too, man, if if Brian Garcia comes with that, you know, style like this, like how he did it for a couple of seconds in the fight, uh, the last fight with Conor Ben, I think Terence Crawford could take advantage of those shots of those opportunities, and I think he could really hurt Ryan Garcia as well because that peekab-boo type of defense is is u, you know, it's not good and I think that people will capitalize on that. So, I think he really needs to work on that. By masking this critique as simply speaking facts, Ryan struck a nerve that most fighters are too afraid to even touch.
If anyone expected Crawford to lose his temper over these blistering comments, they were completely wrong. The response from the unified champion was chillingly unbothered. During a recent interview, Crawford was directly asked about Ryan constantly poking the bear and trying to provoke a reaction.
Instead of firing back with his own insults, he delivered the ultimate flex of absolute disrespect. Crawford simply stated that he doesn't pay Ryan any attention whatsoever. By completely ignoring the bait, he reduced the massive victory and viral trash talk to mere background noise.
How you want to fight? No, this this guy mean he say he called you out say you be hating on him and he tired of you hating on him. Say he going to put a stop to that.
[laughter] Damn. Who that? Ryan.
Something wrong with Ryan. Ryan do this before all his fights. [laughter] You know, uh, Ryan said, "I ain't never fought no fast, young, hungry Lions, right?
" You know, he must ain't paid attention to my career and looked at the people that I fought coming up, right? You know, u from 140 to 135, 147. Like, it's cool, you know, for him to try to diminish, you know, the things that I've accomplished.
But he How how is Ryan? I don't even How old is Ryan? Ryan Ryan been, you know, a big name in a sport 28 for for a long time, right?
You know, and he's a one time world champion at 28, you know, just one time. Yeah. you know, and he's fought, you know, some some some marquee names, but dude, this your first title defense, you know, and you know, you'll be you'll be blessed if you accomplish half of what I've accomplished in the sport of boxing, right?
you know, so why you sitting over there talking, you know, and trying to take credit away from one of the goats, you need to, you know, keep stirring up some great wins and, you know, get on that level. He sent a clear message that he does not lose sleep over a young fighter's temper tantrums. Despite Crawford's icy dismissal, the sheer financial magnitude of a potential showdown is dominating every single conversation, fans and promoters are instantly dreaming of a blockbuster mega fight at 154 or 160 lb.
The interviewer pressed Crawford on this exact scenario, asking what kind of challenge Ryan would actually present if they stepped into the ring together. The answer was devastatingly blunt, dropping a single spiritc crushing word, none. He didn't hesitate or sugarcoat his assessment for a second.
Crawford confidently declared that there is absolutely no version, form, or weight class of Ryan Garcia that could ever pose a legitimate threat to his skills. Felt like Terren Crawford was the guy who scratched and clawed his way to the top, who fought for recognition, for respect, notoriety, and got it in that fight. Really, the Spence fight was the first one where it felt like he truly truly got it.
You had some other ones. Uh uh, you know, the Madrea fight was fine. It didn't feel like that big of a deal, but it was, you know, for I think it was for 154 and it was in a stadium and all that, but Spence, big deal.
Canelo, Netflix, Allegiance Stadium, gigantic deal. And then he went away and and and and remember that performance was incredible that like he he clowned Canelo. It was as good of a performance as you can ever get on such a big stage.
at 168. This guy's a 47 pounder, cup of coffee at 54. And so, yes, we do want to see him back.
And I maintain Garcia Crawford, the biggest fight that can be made in America right now. Am I missing one? Like, that's bigger than Garcia Haney.
That's bigger than Shakur against Haney. That's bigger than Are we talking like literally period? I can't think of a bigger one.
I think Jake would have to be one half of any biggest fight conversation. You still I don't know who the opponent is, but yeah, I think it takes two to tango. Yeah, I still think Tommy Fury and Terren fought.
Jake and Tommy Fury. No. Okay, so it takes two Jake.
Not any Jake, but Jake and Terren, man, it wouldn't even be a pro fight. Not that anyone really. He was about to fight Jervante.
Let's not I don't know how good that would have done to be honest. I agree. But it's it's Jake is half of the equation.
Tank Jake. I I I think that would have done well. It has to be.
You think Tank Jake does better than Garcia Crawford? Probably. Jake's appeal is different.
It's going to be interesting to see what Jake does upon returning. Yeah. I mean, Jake Joshua, right?
That's bigger. Big. But he got knocked out.
So, he finally like for the fans that were dying. No, I'm not talking about forward. I'm saying that is a bigger fight.
No, but I know. But I'm just saying now in the future, does he still have that drawing power? Yeah, of course.
You think so? [snorts] for sure. Wow.
The tension between these two superstars has officially reached a boiling point. On one side, you have an explosive phenomenon armed with a devastating highlight reel knockout and the kind of power that can end a fight at any second. On the other side sits a generational talent possessing an untouchable resume, masterful ring IQ, and a terrifying level of ice cold confidence.
The narratives are violently colliding, leaving the entire community completely divided. Is Crawford secretly worried about that lightning fast right hand? Or is Garcia simply writing checks his skills could never cash against a true master?
Let me know down in the comments who you think wins this clash.
