For we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searchth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the spirit because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. When you pray in tongues, the Holy Spirit is interceding through you according to the perfect will of God.

They recover from attacks quicker. And the devil sees that happening every time you open your mouth and speak in your heavenly language. EW Kenyon said, "The believer who neglects praying in tongues is like a soldier who refuses to use his most advanced weapon.
You have access to supernatural edification, to divine strengthening, to spiritual charging that happens automatically when you pray in the spirit. And he has no defense against that kind of prayer because it's coming from omnisient intelligence operating through a yielded vessel. That's the power. You're praying with God's knowledge.
Third, the devil sees you speaking things into existence that you don't understand yet. When you pray in tongues, you're not just receiving, you're also declaring. You're speaking mysteries and some of those mysteries are prophetic declarations about your future.
You're calling things that are not as though they are. According to Romans 4:17, you're decreeing outcomes the enemy hoped to prevent. You're establishing realities in the spiritual realm that will manifest naturally.
And the devil hears those declarations even though you don't understand them. and he knows his plans just got cancelled. Mark 11:23 teaches the power of speaking.
For verily I say unto you that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass. He shall have whatsoever he saith. Notice the emphasis on what you say.
Words create spiritual realities. And when you're speaking in tongues, you're often declaring things the Holy Spirit wants established in your life. You might be speaking blessing over your family.
You might be declaring victory over a situation. You might be calling forth provision, healing, or breakthrough. You don't know it consciously, but the spirit does.
And he's using your voice to decree his will. And the enemy hears those decrees. He hears you speaking in a language he cannot understand, but he recognizes the authority in your voice.
He senses the power of the spirit backing those words. And he knows that what you're declaring in tongues will manifest in time. He's desperate to stop you from praying in the spirit because every time you do, you're establishing realities he cannot prevent.
Ew. Kenyon said, "Speaking in tongues is not passive prayer. It's active warfare.
You're not just asking God for help. You're declaring his will. You're establishing his kingdom.
You're speaking mysteries that include prophetic decrees over your life, your family, your circumstances. And the enemy cannot stop what you decree in the spirit because those words carry the authority of heaven. He may try to intimidate you into silence.

Fourth, the devil sees you worshiping in a realm he cannot access. First Corinthians 14:15 says, "What is it then? I will pray with the spirit and I will pray with the understanding also.

When you worship in tongues, you're magnifying God in ways your vocabulary cannot capture. You're expressing adoration that goes beyond the limitations of human language. And in that atmosphere of spirit-led worship, demons flee, strongholds break, oppression lifts.
Because the presence of God manifests powerfully when you worship in the spirit. The enemy knows he cannot remain where that kind of worship is happening. And he sees you creating that atmosphere every time you open your mouth and worship in your heavenly language.
Ew Kenyon wrote, "The believer who worships in tongues has discovered a secret place the enemy cannot invade. " When you worship in the spirit, you're communing with God at a level demons cannot access. They must retreat.
They cannot stand in that atmosphere. And they watch in frustration as you build a fortress of worship around your life that they cannot penetrate. This is why consistent prayer and worship in tongues transforms your spiritual environment.
You're creating zones of divine presence that push back darkness automatically. That's the transformation. Your environment changes.
So, how do you activate this weapon? First, if you haven't received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, ask for it. Luke 11:13 says, "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
" It's that simple. Ask. God is more willing to give the Holy Spirit than you are to receive.
