there's a huge problem on Pinterest right now you'd be surprised on what the actual problem is right so huge problem on Pinterest and it has to do with what it has to do with money because it always has to do with money so there's three problems there's three solutions proposed Solutions this is my prediction for this year we're seeing a lot of this unfold let's just jump right into it now out of respect for your time I'm going fast right financials on Pinterest did you know Pinterest is a publicly traded company Pinterest is publicly traded
so that means they have to give us these reports every quarter everyone has access to it guess what last quarter they had their first billion dooll Revenue quarter this is the best quarter ever in other words 3 months they made a billion dollars they are flying high but there's a problem why because AI is polarizing listen this is the age of ai ai has been on their platform for months right and I know this because I have this Channel and if you look down here right to the right I have 25 videos on this channel
on how to make money on Pinterest using AI over 4 100,000 views a lot of people use these tactics so we know that AI is on the platform and we also know that the revenue is super super high and and partially because of it so this is a problem because AI is polarizing some people hate it but I'd imagine you know the numbers would would kind of tell a different story now just to prove a point how easy it is to create content this is content Goblin right so AI is polarizing this is problem number
one I come here image quality section type long article type 10 yellow bedroom ideas and I just click generate and just like that we have an article made for Pinterest the images Drive everything on Pinterest this is 100% AI contrast with gray Furniture it looks awesome why do Pinterest users like this stuff why does this drive engagement how can you get clicks from this the reason is because we're able with AI to create very customized home decor whatever any Niche you can name it we can use Ai and it works the cool part is and
this is kind of why it's so polarizing why I'm going to come back to here imagine if you were old school imagine if you were on this platform on Pinterest say 3 years ago only 3 years ago two years ago right how hard would it be to come up with this bedroom the simple bed right here with the pillows it'd be a pain it'd be very hard to put that on Pinterest because you'd have to go somewhere and take photos like how hard that's a lot of money right there if it was real right that's
the point people spent a lot of money a lot of money to create content on Pinterest and that's why it's so polarizing now the solution if we have to have a solution for problem number one is that you have to pick a side pick a side do you want to adapt with what is happening do you want to use the latest technology or do you still want to use a horse to go to work do you want to use a car to get there in 15 minutes or do you want to use a horse to
get there in 2 hours right pick a side now moving on to problem number two have you heard of The Taste graph okay this has been around since a while 2017 at least the taste graph it's some way way that Pinterest is able to figure out the image the pin and the text behind it the description how it relates to what users want and if you look at this little article right here it says Pinterest AI all right let me click out of this pinterest's AI taste graph expands 75% right as meta rival hits first
$1 billion Revenue quarter so okay we know that Pinterest uses AI on their platform a lot of ways they use it right but this right here don't forget this The Taste graph so there going to be a problem for you even if you use AI follow me here right so now Pinterest right Pinterest is using AI themselves that's a problem why because if there's ever a shift in the market sentiment where they don't want AI images on their platform they're going to use AI against those users okay so some quick notes Pinterest uses AI right
they use AI for what for figuring out what their users want so if I come on the Pinterest it knows what my preferences are it knows that I like this sort of Decor or this sort of thing whatever and it shows that to the users and they use AI for that right they use the taste graph that's partially what they're using and that's been upgraded over time it came out in 200 whatever 17 and now it's even better so they're attributing right attributing some success remember they had a$1 billion quarter $1 billion dollar is a
lot of dollars right they're attributing some success to this new Ai and basically what it does it tracks this is not to unlike Google user engagement whenever you deal with these different search engines because Pinterest is a search engine what they do is they look at user engagement and nowadays because they have ai they have llms right they're able to track easier that's great very cool but what if here's the big butt but what if AI equals bad one day what if Pinterest says AI images equal bad right now I bet you I mean this
is just my you know thought off the top of the head but maybe AI images are great right now because we're getting $1 billion dollar per quarter right last quarter was great but what happens when AI images equal bad so problem number two coming back to our framework is Pinterest is using AI what is the solution make sure to provide good pins right that's exactly what this channel is about if you're using AI you have to understand how these things work and that's what SEO is about search engine optimization our search engine happens to be
pinch for these type of videos so we know that Pinterest is using AI to track what user engagement so you better make sure to provide good pins and that's SEO right I was saying I have 25 videos on this YouTube channel about that right there so problem number two okay Pinterest is tracking this stuff all right just do a good job with SEO and I know a lot of people cringe at the term SEO especially on Pinterest But realize what's best for the user is best for SEO in other words if someone comes on to
your blog and they stay a while because you did did a great job regardless if it's AI or not that's SEO because you want people to stay because the algorithm will reward you now coming to problem number three which I probably should set apart this is the most important problem that I see coming down the pipeline this is my prediction problem number three the hunt begins you have to listen to this the hunt begins I've seen it play out on other platforms right now money is Flowing on Pinterest right $1 billion Revenue quarter everyone loves
it but what happens if that ever changes what happens if things change the hunt begins then in my opinion if money becomes a problem in in stockholders you know stockh holders are not happy they're going to look towards things they're going to say ooh is AI really a good thing for our platform and if that happens things shift immediately and the hunt begins now remember Pinterest uses AI to track user engagement do you think they'll use AI to find AI of course they will of course they will so at that point you have to read
their to their terms of their terms and conditions and their Community guidelines and make sure that AI is even allowed on the platform to my understanding at the point of this video it is you just can't spam which is a subjective term is that 10 pins a day is that 20 is that 50 is that a th000 pins a day what a Spam right they have some definitions I recommend you reading but the problem is if the hunt begins and AI is no longer you know deemed on their platform as like a nice thing like

they angry about about AI old school I should preface this old school creators are so angry about AI have you ever wondered have you ever wondered why that is it's because it's the intersection of money and we kind of found the honeyhole we found where all the money is Right old school creators had a huge opportunity on Pinterest for years and years and years and you would not believe how much money they were making right it did cost them a lot of money to create their stuff if you look at old pins it it cost
a lot of money now let's talk about this this is why they're so angry so you can understand this they would spend a words of let's say $300 for one blog post and that may render say 10 pins right okay $300 for one blog post it may render 10 pins but here's the cool part back in the day they'd get tons of traffic right they'd get tons of traffic nowadays okay that cost 300 nowadays I can do that same exact thing for about 50 cents right 50 cents so you look there's a big disparity here
of $300 versus 50 and on top of that they could only do this maybe once twice three times a week if they had Deep Pockets there used to be a huge moat a moat around Pinterest for creators because it's very hard for me to come up with you know $900 a week to even try Pinterest well now things have changed 50 cents to do it anyone can do this but there's a problem I'm going to come back to this 50 cents and I can do 20 30 40 of them a week and that's the problem
so they used to get tons of traffic and then people like me started talking about AI on Pinterest right that's why they're so angry two things there's money here and we disrupted the flow of money now just because you can do 50 cents right opposed to their 300 doesn't mean you should right it doesn't mean you should and this is a big problem I see over and over again just because you can do a thousand blog posts now in a week doesn't mean you should right it doesn't mean you should just because you can drive
