and since you left the ring life's been very tough for you it has been very tough I'm getting flashbacks of um coming back um um Eddie Hearns put wrote something in the in the mirror the other day and said that an Joshua be me in two rounds and it ran me right up you know what I mean so I'm thinking of making a challenge to him and saying that if he thinks he's a money man I don't think he's a boxing man I think he's a more of an accountant with his dad to put the
fight on that Wembley or one of the let let me ask you this friend let let me ask you year in the summer many many Sportsmen high profile from football from cricket from boxing really struggle with life after being in the arena what is it like to actually leave that Arena and all the attention and the fame and everything else and have to get on with real life again it's it's hard in some ways but um I've never stopped training since I finished from boxing I got divorced um I ran like for scum and I
ended up being late and Buzzard but I feel very very i' got champ that go down there and I got some good people behind me in a good team what does it do to you mentally do you think Frank to to try and deal with normality again when you've had such an abnormal life it's a difficult thing to do but as Chris hubanks was saying the Pud list um he was saying that you know I mean as long as you keep your feet on the ground and keep a level head and don't get above your
your your your station or anything like that just keep it level and you ain't got nowhere to go but if you're going to get in wrapped up in the rap and mataz and the press and believing in all what the Press say good or bad you can get confused but I just stay normal I'm not I ain't going to change are you are you happy Frank I'm very very happy I've just got myself a new PA lady called kmen and I getting the right sort of like people behind me and I'm very very happy I'm
very very very 110% happy you experienced bipolar disorder and I experienced bipolar disorder and you admitted yourself to hospital yes I admitted myself to hospital because I was um I hit the brick wall like with training but at the end of the day I don't think that they are filling you with medication cuz I took the medication the other day and I then have taken nothing that I laid on the couch got up and I fell down and then crack my ribs of the powerful medication that they given me I had five stitches in my
head when um when they gave me the medication when you're going through a a a down time right when you're feeling depressed and you're feeling lonely whatever it is what what normally triggers that I mean do you have any warning do youly I don't think you have no warning some days women go through all different periods and different things for their life so a woman is no different than a man some days you can get up the sun can shine some days it's raining and when it's when it's raining for you we only know you
really as this happy go-lucky big laughing champ right when day you can be happy not every day you can be sad some days we all go through it we have different problems bills to pay relation breaks up um kids you got to look after of a different marriage or whatever we all go through it so it's not only me what goes through it you go through it you can't say that you don't have good days or bad days I don't but i' I've never felt the need for example to seek you know mental health treatment
or go into somewhere where I can actually stay and be treated curious record a man a man in the mirror everybody goes through um ups and downs and Frank what what goes through your mind when you're going through of lot of things go through your mind sometimes it's all cloudy and heavy and sluggish and can't motivate yourself but sometimes in the winter people are more unhappy than they are in the summer the sun is a tonic and it gives you boost and whatever but we all go through it it's not do you know how much
you're loved by the British public you're making me blush Pier um you said that on the pier Morgan show but I'm just a level-headed normal human being just trying to do well for himself I don't look at myself like that I respect what you're saying but just keep it on a level people do still feel like that tell us what you your message is for the Prime Minister because you have a pretty St warning for him about the number of love to meet David Cameron and sit down with him and talk some really good talking
because the youngsters um are going through a time in life where they're losing a lot of this the disrespecting the elders my son took up boxing that's what he made me want to come back into boxing because like he's a beautiful lad but he needs some manners and youngsters need manners to have um respect for their Elders their grandmas their dad and mom because it weren't for that Mom the dad and mom putting them where they were they got they can't tell people to f off and different things like that they got to have a
lot of respect you also want an investment in Mental Health Services definitely investment because if the way they treated me and they treated me very very very bad and made me feel like a ant I'm sorry for the other patients what are going through so I would fly the flag for the government to stop giving money away to different countries and invest the money in your own country and look after Britain and make Britain the best country in the world Frank it's been fantastic thank you very much catch up with you nice catch you're you're
a national treasure never lose sight of the fact of people loving you you're never alone you know you've always got lots of people out there that respect are roting for you thank you very much good morning to everyone listening and watching thank you God bless your ribs are all right as well by the way best best suit and tie combination up man dve up thank you Christmas Christmas ho ho ho from ha you're the best father Christmas out there oh ho do ho ho ho again ho [Music]
