need you to partner with him to defeat that enemy this is why he gives you responsibilities they're in his instructions and you must heed them whenever God speaks to you in times of Challenges he has a plan now your openness to his instructions will determine your Victory God gave Jehoshaphat an instruction that didn't seem logical in a battle he told him there was a better strategy 2 Chronicles 20:1 17 says you will not have to fight this battle take up your positions stand firm and see the Deliverance the Lord will give you Judah and Jerusalem

King Jehoshaphat obeyed and the result result of that obedience was a victory he Didn't have to lift a sword because he followed the Lord's instructions sometimes God might want you to step back from certain battles as he did with David at other times he might ask you to pursue overtake and recover this is why you must be sensitive to hear what he says about each battle you face you can be sure that as you keep his instructions you'll be on The Winning Side you must do what he tells you to ensure victory victory Over the

and that is exactly what fear makes you do your human instincts whenever you face difficulty or fear or anxiety but God wants your reaction to be different He wants you to face your battles headon with the identity of whom you are which is an image bearer of the one true Living God God's word is an indispensable weapon against the enemy you can use it to raise a standard against him this is why you must keep meditating on the word allow it to saturate your spirit so you can resist the enemy with what you know from

God's word his word is a two-edged sword and it is fierce in battle in the same way Faith is a weapon this is why you must have faith in God you cannot receive God's help if you don't believe in his ability to defeat the enemy God's word says that you must put all your trust in God when dealing with God you can hold on to him because he is never lost a battle but if you don't trust him you stand no chance against the enemy you'll be like a house built upon sand such a house

against me if I have God what is it that can bring me down if I have God on my side what is it that can overwhelm me beat me up make me feel defeated hopess and despairing in life simply there is nothing that can be against you when God is involved you see that pain sorrow rough relationship the struggle with sin and Drug addiction the reason it is overwhelming you is that you want to do it all on your own you are just there lamenting over unfortunate situations feeling sad about yourself but unwilling to let

God intervene Hard Times persist when we refuse to let God work them out for us before God created man he said let us make Mankind in our image and likeness this is because he wanted you to be in fellowship with him he wanted us to live according to his plan for us He wanted us to involve him in every single aspect of Our Lives whether social academic financi Cal family life or anything but more times than not we set out on a single sale we decide to do life on our own we refuse to accept

the help and company that God has freely given to us no wonder we end up giving up on dreams and feeling like the worst of failures being on your own was never the intention of God just take a keen study of your life look at the ventures That you set out to do alone with without involving God how successful were they I bet many times if not all you ended up achieving nothing again study the things that you involve God from the start look at the things that you did under the guidance of the Holy

Spirit notice how different they all turned out when you involved God in the situation things that you thought to be impossible become possible the obstacles you encountered before are now stepping Stones that help help you climb to the top and if right now you're in that situation where you're feeling nothing is moving it's like you're trapped and you're suffocating and you just can't see a way out it's time to invite God into the battle and this is for you as well as myself we were never created to be like orphans out in the world without

help or anything God is always more than ready to help us as long as we invite him into our struggles he's always Waiting for are Cry for Help the Bible says that he is an everpresent help in times of need Proverbs 18:10 says the name of the Lord is a fortified Tower the righteous run to it and are safe the name of the Lord is a wonder and Miracle working name at its mention even demons tremble God is Almighty and powerful and as long as we let him into the battles we Face we will always

emerge Victorious let's look at David from the Bible he was only a young man who was Very inexperienced at War and small in stature yet very bold in the god of Israel when Goliath the Philistine came up against the Israelites causing them to tremble in fear David as young and inexperienced as he was stood up to fight the giant this must have appeared to be a very ridiculous move it was obvious that David was no match for the Giant Goliath many people must have thought he was certain going to die 1st Samuel 17:37 says the

Lord who rescued me from the Paw of The Lion and the Paw of the bear will rescue me from the hands of this Philistine David first acknowledged God and how he had been faithful to him in the past anytime we're caught in a situation that frightens us or makes us feel very inferior we should recount the things God has done for us before how he delivered us out of situations ations that threatened to kill us we should call to mind that time when we had lost All hope of living yet God came through for us

when we do this we replenish our faith stores and feel more confident in God we are assured that if he did that for us in the past then nothing can stop him from doing it for us again in verse 45 David said to the Philistine you come against me with sword and Spear and Javelin but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty Mighty the god of the armies of Israel whom you have defied verses 49 and 50 say reaching Into his bag and taking out a stone he slung it and struck

the Philistine on the forehead the stone sank into his forehead and he fell face down on the ground so David triumphed over the Philistine and with a sling and a stone without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him the Philistine Army was very large Goliath himself was a sight to behold he was very huge and terrifying and no man could even dare face him yet David by The faith he had in God's power did he was not even armed he only depended on God and this made all the difference

David didn't need a large army he didn't need to be physically as huge as Israel's enemy he didn't need the protective gear that Saul had offered him he didn't need a weapon like the ones Goliath carried he only needed God many times we think that we're in difficult moments because we are this way or we lack this we think it's Because of a particular thing that our lives are the way they are we think to ourselves if only I could get this amount of money if only I had grown up in a well-functioning family if

only someone could love me if only I was more muscular or attractive if only I had connections with people in top positions if only this could happen then all my troubles would be over then I could defeat this giant in my life then I could be happy once again so many Wishes yet we refuse to acknowledge the one person who has all we need and that is God God has everything you have always wanted he has the victory you so much long for he has the power and the means to get you out of that

situation he has connections with people who will help you he has the riches and wealth that you tire so much to get this is why the Bible tells us to First seek the kingdom of God and all other things will be added to us let God into your life Let him into your battles invite God to those dark areas of your life that you feel so embarrassed of invite God into your struggles when God gets into the game Everything Changes when he takes over he turns all things around he says in Isaiah 43: 19 behold

I am doing a new thing do you not perceive it when you invite God into your battle that thing that has been troubling you for months or years is well taken care of God will transform Our Lives as long As we let him in our sale he takes care of all things working them out for our good if we choose to believe in him God doesn't want us to struggle alone he wants to give us life and life in abundance that's why he says in Matthew 11: 28-30 come to me all who are weary and

burdened and I will give you rest take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls for my Yoke is easy and my burden is light God wants us to have rest in him he may not make the battle end immediately he may not give us Victory right away he may not even make it end completely at any point in our lives but he will do this one thing he will give us peace amidst our problems he will give us rest

when the battle is ongoing for he takes it over he will make sure that our minds and hearts are not troubled by anything but that we have peace that's why he Says in John 14: 27 peace I leave with you my peace I give you I do not give to you as the world gives do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid the moment we invite God into our battles he frees our minds from worry he makes us peaceful and calm he lets us rest in him because he's got everything in

check God takes takes away our worries and replaces them with faith you see worry is an absence of Faith it's an anticipation of something negative when You're worried you can't say you have faith the two work inversely proportionally to affect how we respond to challenges and trying moments of life when we have faith worry diminishes and when worry flourishes Faith diminishes inviting God into our battles helps us let go of worry and linked to Faith we have hope and believe that in our own time God will make our circumstances beautiful even when the difficulties endure

we're not worried Because nothing shall harm us as long as God is on our side besides it won't be long before he unveils his master plan to us and we get to see how all the pieces fit together if you are listening to the sound of my voice right now I want to tell you that it's time to inv invite God into that battle people might have told you that your problem or difficulty has no solution but God is saying something different it's time to let go And let God in it's high time you let

go of that worry that anxiety about the future that stress of your marriage that it's falling apart whatever it is that's keeping you awake at night it's time you let God handle it that thing that is constantly ringing in your mind it's time time you let God take care of it he promises that he'll work all things out in your favor if you only believe in him don't forget God is the Mighty Man in [Music] Battle many of us are at the point where we are just waiting for the year to end it's been a

tough one at least a number of people around me have told me so it was filled with ups and downs so many struggles and at this point very few people are optimistic that something can happen before the year ends and transform their lives for the better so we try again next year that is what we have resolved to perhaps you relate to this it has been such a long time trying To put your life in order but everything has just been heading south your plans never materialize and every time you end up in a worse

state you feel so downtrodden and helpless like there's just no more fight in you this is why I have come in to tell you that you do not need to fight the reason you are feeling so exhausted is you have been trying to plan your life on your own you left God out of the picture and As his child this should not be the case God doesn't want to be a third wheel in our lives he should be the priority the kind of friend who when they say they are not going to an event you

don't either and when they pass by your house and tell you to hop in the car you do not ask where you're going however in our spirit of self-sufficiency and Independence we tend to sideline God we take over his place in our lives we start to fight Battles that were none of our business in the first place we push God farther and farther further away until he has no choice but to let us stray as far as we will this never ends well life is not yours to do alone God wants to be with you

each and every step he wants to be your companion friend comforter and a shoulder to lean on he wants to be the one fighting your battles for you it's his work not yours your only duty is to trust him and let him do his thing there Is no way to avoid the Troubles of life as long as we are here they will always be there the Bible says in John 16:33 that in this world we will face troubles this means that challenges of all kinds will find their way into your life however as a child

of God you should not despair or feel helpless God will always fight your battles he always has and always will he has proven to be faithful throughout scripture through several men like Joshua Elijah King David and King Josiah there is one who has a particularly fascinating narrative about choosing to trust and worship in the face of overwhelming odds that is King Jehoshaphat King of the Southern side of Judah this particular story about Jehoshaphat is told in 2 Chronicles 20 King Jehoshaphat is surrounded by three vast armies and a war is looming the impending Invasion and

destruction of his kingdom threatens him but his Response to this is very fascinating instead of gathering together all his army men and getting ready for war this King gathers all his people people together to pray and Worship the Lord he humbles himself in prayer and cries out to God telling him about the difficulty they are about to endure from the surrounding Nations and then he says this in verse 12 Oh Our God will you not execute judgment on them for we are powerless against this great horde that Is coming against us we do not know

what to do but our eyes are on you ESV what faith in God how many times do you acknowledge that you do not know what to do but your eyes are on the Lord how many times when you're in difficulty do you look up to the Lord to help you many times we are so intent on saving ourselves that we forget about the existence of God in our lives we are so filled with the me myself and I mentality that God no longer has the Opportunity to reveal his power through us this is not what

Jehoshaphat does he could have gathered his men for war or even looked for help from the Allies he had among the surrounding Nations but instead he chose to seek the help of God God responds to Jehoshaphat by speaking through one of the Levites present in the Gathering saying thus says the Lord to you do not be afraid and do not be dismayed at this great horde for the battle is not yours but God's verse 15 ESV what a relief to know that God is fighting for us we need not gather our armies we need not

seek the help of our friends train endlessly getting ready for the upcoming war or even fight it because because it's not our battle but the Lord's the people of Judah devoted their energy to worshiping the Lord and in return he fought the Battle for them when they went to the Battleground they were met by an incredible sight verse 24 says when Judah came to the Watchtower Of the Wilderness they looked toward the horde and behold there were dead bodies lying on the ground none had escaped while the people of God were worshiping him he set

out against the three armies turning them against one another so that they fought and killed each other by the time the people of God arrived there was no battle left to fight it was finished God had won we will find ourselves in many Battlegrounds in this life perhaps when You became born again you hoped that it was the end of your suffering perhaps you thought thought that now that you were a child of God no one would touch you you had suffered so much in the hands of the world and now you could not wait

to relax and rest in the Lord this had to be the mentality that the Israelites had when Moses rescued them from bondage in Egypt that the end to their painful existence had come and now it was the time to rest and lavish in The land of milk and honey but when we read the books that tell the history history of the Israelites you will notice that promise was far from near it was now time for the real war in fact the first thing they had to do was gather their army and go to war against

the city of Jericho then the city of I and then one by one they fought all the other cities of Canaan this happens to us as well we come into the Lord to rest but sooner or later we realize that the Christian life is not a playground but a Battleground we are attacked endlessly from all fronts we do not fight each other or our fellow Believers but against Satan the grip he has on the people all around us and his attempts to try to defeat us and our efforts to build God's Kingdom in Ephesians 612

Paul writes for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against the rulers against the authorities against the cosmic Powers over this present Darkness against the spiritual forces of evil in the Heavenly places the Contemporary English version says we are not fighting against humans we are fighting against forces and authorities and against rulers of darkness and powers in the spiritual world when you study the scripture you will realize that this is is a war that has been ongoing for Generations the opposition between good and evil it is been there from the beginning of time

Even though sometimes we will ultimately be drawn into this fight we must not forget that the battles belong to the lord it's his to fight and the Victory is already his Jesus Christ triumphed over sin and the powers of darkness when he died and Rose conquering Satan and all his Works God has your back in all battles whether they manifest in your job or family or whether it's battles against Temptation thoughts of worry and depression mental or physical health or Spiritual ones he is on the Battleground not as a spectator but as the one on

the front line he is fighting for you this battle is his to fight and win whatever difficulty or struggle you are experiencing in life you have a choice at all times to react in fear or run you can choose to do everything within your own power to take care of your situation and try to keep it under your control or you can pack up and leave running away and staying far ahead Of the danger you can freeze up and be overrun by by the evil that sits before you or you could lift your eyes and

hands to heaven in the battle and worship God knowing that he is fighting for you you can rest in the assurance that he has overcome the world and all its evil you can choose to keep your hope in the Lord knowing that he is greater than anything you can ever face in this life there is no challenge in your life that is too big or too small For him to handle he has a way out for each and everything that could be troubling you Jesus Christ has already decisively won the battle on the cross however

we must still continue to resist the enemy and all his schemes even though we do so we must always remember that we are fighting an enemy who has already been defeated as soon as Christ's nail-pierced resurrected feet touched the Earth outside the tomb he secured a victory Over sin and death for all of us and we are assured of a day when he will come again and put an end to all of this he will put our enemies under his feet overcoming them forever and the dust of this battle will settle and we will be

welcomed to a renewed and peaceful world until then we must strive to flee from all evil even though this battle is not our own we are involved in it by virtue of being the children of the light we are greatly impacted but are not to feel Defeated because God will never send us to battle alone he is always with us fighting for and with us God is the Lord of heavenly armies who fights for his people he is a warrior who fought for his people in the days of King Jehoshaphat and he still fights for

his people because his faithful love endures forever he is enthroned Upon Our praises and his power and wisdom are as close as our prayers all the battles in our lives belong to Him you feel secure when you know someone better stronger and wealthier than you is watching out for you that sense of security is what every child of God should have because God is looking after you he is fighting your battles for you sometimes you may see the enemies and God's hand fighting for you at other times you may only see the enemies raging against

you either way your Victory is not because of your power or anything you possess your Victory solely lies in God Elijah woke up one morning to a panic call from his servant his servant saw the enemies come up against his master and he was afraid Elijah on the other hand was calm he prayed that God would open his servants eyes to see the reality of the situation the servant's eyes opened and he saw fire surrounding them they were more than the enemies that had come against them the Bible says greater is he who is in

you than he That is in the world that is your reality as a child of God in every battle you face God is right before you fighting your battles for you yours is not to fight when the Bible says we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and Powers it was a way of making Believers realize who their enemies were and not a way of endorsing them to fight Jesus has won the victory for you already and you can enjoy that victory in Christ Joshua was fighting a battle when his eyes were opened

he saw the commander of the host of Heaven himself and he asked are you for us or against us the answer was and will always be I am for you God is for you and not against you he is your trustworthy Ally he is a winner a champion that has never lost any battle and will never lose any battle even even when you cannot see it God fights on your behalf all you have to do is to trust him the Bible says There is a friend that sticks closer than a brother the friend is Jesus

he can do for you what your friends relatives and loved ones cannot do you may feel you are alone you might be truly alone friends and family may have left you trusted friends might have betrayed you but you should know that Jesus will not leave you he is fighting for you he loves you so much that he goes all out for your sake the least you can give him is your trust trust that he Is fighting for you trust his abilities to see you through whatever you are going through you know that all power in

heaven and on Earth has been given unto him the power is still with him he has not lost his power when the one who holds all the power in the universe is there fighting for you why are you then afraid the devil's aim is to beloud you so that you do not see God fighting for you just like Elijah's servant whenever you do not see God's power working in Your life you tend to be afraid but when God opens your eyes to see your faith will be strengthened there are some signs you will see in

your life to know that God is truly fighting for you don't forget that it is always is the darkest before Dawn the fact that everything suddenly turns bad confusing and Tangled doesn't mean God has left you in fact that is an indication that he is on your case Victory is near and the devil is Angry you do not have to see a cloud day by day or a pillar of Fire by night for you to know that God is with you you don't have to see the host of angels with Chariots of Fire before you

believe that you are ever alone Matthew 28:20 and surely I Am With You Always to the very end of the age those were Jesus's words to the disciples before he ascended into heaven it is also his words to you today no matter what you Are going through he is with you fighting for you he said he would build a wall of fire around you he reproves Kings for your sake saying t touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm are you a child of God are you a follower of Christ then he is

with you fighting your battles if he takes care of the animals who are not Redeemed by his blood do you think he will leave you to face the onslaught of the enemy alone the Bible Says when the enemy comes against you like a flood the Lord will raise a standard against them he said to Call on Me on the day of trouble do you think he will show up and fold his hands of course not he will be present to fight for you Exodus 14:14 the Lord will fight for you you need only to be

still when you feel an inward calm despite the outward noise and storm around that is an indication that God is Fighting your battles for you the calm you feel despite the storm nor is to make you know that the Prince of Peace has stepped in when you take refuge in God's words you will often have peace during the storm another sign that God is fighting your battles is that he reveals the secrets of the enemies to you don't forget that God knows every secret when he begins to expose the plans of the wicked to you

you victory over your enemies that is one one of his strategies for ensuring that you remain Victorious always when everything the enemy thought hidden gets exposed to you don't think that it is because you are wise or smart or intelligent when you avoid the Trap of the enemy it is not because you are wise but because God is fighting for you you cannot know the secret of the enemy on your own you need the Divine help of God For that when you see it forthcoming it is a sign that God is fighting for you Herod

planned to kill baby Jesus he wanted to stop the Redemption plan but God stopped the wise men from going back to him to give him an update and he became angry so he planned to kill all the children below two years in the land yet God revealed the plan to Joseph and told him to escape with Mary and Jesus God is looking out for you he deliberately makes you a minute late to Avoid falling into the Trap Of The Devil sometimes he hides things from you so you don't make wrong decisions he exposes cunning business

make it even worse these are not easy times we experience days of looming sadness Despair and hopelessness things that steal our joy and make us feel alienated from the world around us events that wipe the smile from our faces in situations and days we can't even feel the presence and love of God In our lives during these times God seems like a distant idea or some fictional being who doesn't care about us answer our prayers or at least keep us from getting into bad situations we feel angry betrayed or hurt by his refusal to act

while our lives are falling apart does he see does he hear our cries does he ever care the truth is God does hear our cries he sees our tears he listens and answers our prayers and even more he Fights our battles whatever the challenge we Face be it physical emotional or mental we must never forget that God fights for us always the Bible says that he is our protector he never Slumbers nor sleeps but watches over us he doesn't let his eyes close even for a micr second he's always keeping you safe you must realize

that in the desperation that comes along with hard times the enemy will try all he can to Feed you lies he will tell you that God doesn't love you and that is why he let you into the mess you are in he will tell you that God doesn't listen to you and that is why your prayers have gone unanswered for a long time he will tell you that if God cared about you he'd have shown up for you already that is what the enemy does he tries to use every opportunity to shake your faith in

a dark world you are a nuisance to the Prince of Darkness and because of this you won't go for long without encountering obstacles and attacks he'll hurl in your direction however we have this hope in God our Father that he is always with us in every situation we find ourselves in every circumstance every dark scenario Or dark hole that life's difficulties have thrown us our hope is in the Lord Jesus and his promise that he will always be there with us our God is greater than any battle we face he fights for us always giving

god of the armies of israels whom you have defied 1st Samuel 17:45 and in verse 47 the Bible says for the battle is the Lord's King Jehoshaphat was a good king of Judah whom the Bible says was devoted to the ways of the Lord 2 Chronicles 20 tells the story of three vast armies who descended on Jehoshaphat with intentions to go to war alarmed Jehosaphat resolved to inquire of the Lord And he proclaimed a fast for all Judah the people of Judah came together to seek help from the Lord verses 3- 4 he led his

people in prayer and worship to the Lord and in his fear of the armies and looming War he confessed that he didn't know what to do but our eyes are on you such a beautiful expression of trust and faith in God God answered Jehoshaphat through a prophet telling himo not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast Army for the battle Is not yours but God's verse 15 when we Face battles it is normal to feel afraid or scared that our enemy will overpower us and destroy us we might even doubt the presence of the

Lord in our lives or his active intervention and the struggles we Face however we must never forget that the Lord is always on our side with him we are not just trying our luck or fighting with slim odds of winning we are assured of his active and loving presence in our Lives even on the days when we can't feel his power divinely moving in us we should trust that he is working behind the scenes fighting battles that we know and others that we do not he never leaves us to fight on our own he is

always there constantly working on our behalf shielding protecting strengthening exposing Deeds of Darkness covering us from the cruel attacks we Face even when we're unaware in the mysterious detours that our lives may Take as the Lord Works in our lives sometimes we may not understand what is happening however even during those times we can trust in the assurance that God has the best plan for us and that he is working daily to actualize that plan his will for us is good and perfect so we can entirely Place Our Hope in him the enemy might attack

us from all sides but he will never win Victory will always be the Lord's and ours as his sons and daughters if we pray for wisdom Of the Lord and the power to discern the schemes of the evil one in ways to avoid them he the enemy will have no control over us may the Lord help us as the Salt and Light of the World to remain steadfast in him and unyielding to sin that is the calling we have been given as Believers in Christ even in the midst of tragedies pain due to different reasons

loss and Devastation the Lord promises to give us peace and to be our Pillar of Strength when we feel weak When the world treats us unfairly wrongly or persecutes us we have a fair judge in the High Heavens who will bring us Justice we should not be afraid but turn to him with all that trouble us no weapon formed that is formed against you will prosper Isaiah 54:17 that is our heritage in the Lord our inherited blessing possession and gift straight from his hand no matter what comes your way you have been called to live

a life of boldness and Trust In Our Father in Heaven he is with you wherever you are no matter how dark it gets and how slim your chances of survival appear to be you've got to trust that the Lord is with you he is working away out for you you do not have to see the way but you only need to have faith absolutely trust in our god he has never lied not even once and so when he says he will deliver you out of that hard phase of your life he will he sees your

pain he knows how hard you are Trying he knows how deep you have fallen into that pit but he is getting you out the Lord will bring you the victory you so much desire but in the meantime just hold on and keep your Hope on him there is one common mistake that most Believers make and that is trying to live their lives how they know best without involving God it doesn't mean that it's wrong to have your life planned out but as a Believer your every step should be Directed by God for people who haven't

yet discovered how amazing it is to have the guidance of God in their lives it is understandable and we pray that one day they'll realize how easily manageable life gets when we receive salvation but for everyone else who has been born again who carries the mark of the lamb and has received the spirit of God you're no longer the one in charge the moment you receive Jesus into your life you surrender your life to Him to Guide you to show you the way to direct your steps he leads and you follow now many of us

are still caught up in the Maze that life can be sometimes where will I get my next job who will I marry Which business is more profitable where should I build my home we worry about all these things forgetting that as children of God we are now our father's responsibility it is his job to take care of you to know what you will eat where you'll work who will be the Mother or father of your kids where your eldest child will go to college and all that the moment we receive Jesus and surrender Our Lives

to God God takes over the responsibility of driving and planning our lives we are not on our own anymore God has control over our lives and he is willing to help us in every aspect we need help God is more than willing and more than ready to help you with anything you may need be it your school life your finances your workplace Or even your family he is ready to help you in addition he has given you the gift of the Holy Spirit as a helper the job of the holy spirit is to be with

you always everywhere you go and in everything you do so that he may help you the chief role of the holy spirit in your life is to help in anything and everything so you don't have to try and figure everything out by yourself you don't have to look for a job all by yourself don't spend sleepless nights Worrying about what your family will eat what they will wear that is the work of God and his spirit in you your only duty is to cultivate your relationship with him your duty in all this is to grow

your faith in God what you really need to do is to ground yourself in your own personal walk with the Lord now that you're walking in God's perfect will for your life God will be the one to fully guide you into whatever he wants for your life the choice is no longer yours God has a perfect divine plan and Destiny set up for your life and he will be the one to guide you every step of the way into the Fulfillment of that divine plan in Jeremiah 29:11 he says for I know the plans that

I have for you says the Lord plans to give you peace and not to destroy you to give you a future and a hope he has also made everything beautiful in its time as we are told in Ecclesiastes 3:11 he has also set eternity in the human heart yet No one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end you don't need to see or know how everything will work out all you have to do is have faith in him trust his plan and not only does God have a set plan and a set

future for your life but he also has set a timetable in which all of these plans will manifest in your life all you need now is patience God has a plan for your life and if you trust the planner you will also trust the plan he knows what He is doing with your life he knows where he is taking you and no matter how uncomfortable it is to hit the road without a certain destination just hold on our God works in mysterious ways and his methods are too complex for us to understand but Brethren at

least we will have the assurance that our father's plans will always work in our favor so let him lead even if the journey is through dark valleys and thick forests he knows how you will survive his plans Are always good for you and his intentions are the purest but sometimes following God can seem very ridiculous in fact many times it just looks downright silly or Reckless because trus in God will sometimes mean starting a project without enough funds it's not the wisest or most logical thing to do gauging by our human thoughts we would want

to have a thought out plan and resources from start to end but this would mean we are putting our trust in The resources and our plan rather than God we have a perfect example of a man who had blind faith in God our Father Abraham the Lord told Abraham to relocate to a land he was going to show him I now want you to imagine yourself in Abraham's situation just think of that home that you've built for years or that you inherited from your parents that home you have come to love so much that holds

dear memories of you and your loved ones and then Here Comes our Loving God all of a sudden he wants you to abandon it and all your relatives and as if that is not bad enough he simply says he will show you where to go I mean it would have been better if God had told him where he was going he would have had some comfort but this is not what God did with Abraham the Lord had said to Abram go from your country your people and your father's household to the land I will show

you Genesis 121 and Abraham without even a single Complaint or the slightest feeling of Doubt arises and leaves just as the Lord had commanded him by faith Abraham followed God and the the Bible testifies of Abraham's Act of Faith in Hebrews 11:8 by faith Abraham when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance obeyed and went even though he did not know where he was going that is how trusting God and letting him lead your life is sometimes you never know where you are going you Don't know what will happen

tomorrow now that today is over but you just do it because God has asked you to you just follow him blindly because he knows where he is taking you because he knows what he is doing with your life it takes a lot of faith to surrender your life to God completely a lot of faith to be out there not knowing what you're doing but trusting that the initiator of it all must surely have a plan it is not easy like I said earlier sometimes it looks Very stupid it doesn't make any sense at all but

in the end all the missing Pieces come together and you finally figure out what this jigsaw of your life has been all along there is nothing as rewarding as having faith in God our walk with him is not a walk of sight but one of Faith even when we don't see the entire staircase he wants us to believe him when he says take a step and do exactly that when we believe in God and let him Lead while we follow he takes us to the most beautiful destinations places we have never imagined ourselves being in

we as humans like to be sure about the course of Our Lives because we believe that it is good for us for our career for our families for most things in our lives that may be true but God is the one that always has the best plans in store for us what we are holding on to may be good but we must let go of it and make space for the best that God has for Us most Christians miss the boat with God while trying to run their own lives by taking up what should be

word allow it to saturate your spirit so you can resist the enemy with what you know from God's word his word is a two-edged sword and it is fierce in battle in the same way faith is a weapon this is why you must have faith in God you cannot receive God's help if you don't believe in his ability to defeat the enemy God's word Says that you must put all your trust in God when dealing with God you can hold all on to him because he has never lost a battle but if you don't trust

him you stand no chance against the enemy you'll be like a house built upon sand such a house cannot stand against the flood or wind circumstances will sweep it away because it has no solid foundation this is why you must raise your faith in God as a shield it can quench the fiery darts of the enemy faith is one of the Greatest weapons that you can access in God it will help you stand on the day of battle and it will give you the power to face the enemy headstrong you must also not take the

those who seek God will not delay you will surely experience Victory because your battles are now in God's hands when it's all over you'll be shouting for joy and Singing songs of praise let God handle that battle today and see his mighty hand in your life in the Bible the book of Romans 8:31 says What then shall we say in response to these things if God is with us who can be against us now this is a scripture that carries with it victory in all things that we may face if God is for us then

Out on a single sale we decide to do life on our own we refuse to accept the help and company that God has freely given to us no wonder we end up giving up on dreams and feeling like the worst of failures being on your own was never the intention of God just take a keen study of your life look at the ventures that you set out to do alone without involving God how successful were they I bet many times if not all you ended up achieving nothing again study the things That you involve God

and as long as we let him into the battles we Face we will always emerge Victorious let's look at David from the Bible he was only a young man who was very inexperienced at War and small in stature yet very bold in the god of Israel when Goliath the Philistine came up against the Israelites causing them To tremble in fear David as young and inexperienced as he was stood up to fight the giant this must have appeared to be a very ridiculous move it was obvious that David was no match for the Giant Goliath many

people must have thought he was certainly going to die 1st Samuel 17:37 says the Lord who rescued me from the Paw of The Lion and the Paw of the bear will rescue me from the hands of this Philistine David first acknowledge God and how he had been faithful to him in the past anytime we're caught in a situation that frightens us or makes us feel very inferior we should recount the things God has done for us before how he delivered us out of situations that threatened to kill us we should call to mind that time

when we had lost all hope of living yet God came through for us when we do this we replenish our faith stores and feel more confident in God we are assured that if he did that for us In the past then nothing can stop him from doing it for us again in verse 45 David said to the Philistine you come against me with sword and Spear and Javelin but I come against you in the name name of the Lord Almighty the god of the armies of Israel whom you have defied verses 49 and 50 say

reaching into his bag and taking out a stone he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead the stone sank into his forehead and he fell face down on the Ground so David triumphed over the Philistine and with a sling and a stone without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him the Philistine Army was very large Goliath himself was a sight to behold he was very huge and terrifying and no man could even dare face him yet David by the faith he had in God's power did he was

not even armed he only depended on God and this made all the difference David didn't need a large army he didn't Need to be physically as huge as Israel's enemy he didn't need the protective gear that Saul had offered him he didn't need a weapon like the once iath carried he only needed God many times we think that we're in difficult moments because we are this way or we lack this we think it's because of a particular thing that our lives are the way they are we think to ourselves if only I could get this

amount of money if only I had grown up In a well-functioning family if only someone could love me if only I was more muscular or attractive if only I had connections with people in top positions if only this could happen then all my troubles would be over then I could defeat this giant in my life then I could be happy once again so many wishes yet we refuse to acknowledge the one person who has all we need and that is God God has everything you have always wanted he has the victory you so Much long

for he has the power and the means to get you out of that situation he has connections with people who will help you he has the riches and wealth that you tire so much to get this is why the Bible tells us to First seek the kingdom of God and all other things will be added to us let God into your life let him into your battles invite God to those dark areas of your life that you feel so embarrassed of invite God into your struggles when God gets into the Game everything changes when he

takes over he turns all things around he says in Isaiah chapter 43: 19 behold I am doing a new thing do you not perceive it when you invite God into your battle that thing that has been troubling you for months or years is well taken care of God will transform Our Lives as long as we let him in our sail he takes care of all things working them out for for our good if we choose to believe in him God doesn't want us to struggle alone he Wants to give us life and life in abundance

that's why he says in Matthew 11: 28-30 come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls for my yoke is easy and my my burden is light God wants us to have rest in him he may not make the battle end immediately he may not give us Victory Right away he may not even make it end completely at any point in our lives but he will

do this one thing he will give us peace amidst our problems he will give us rest when the battle is Ong going for he takes it over he will make sure that our minds and hearts are not troubled by anything but that we have peace that's why he says in John 14: 27 peace I leave with you my peace I give you I do not give to you as the world gives do not let your hearts be troubled And do not be afraid the moment we invite God into our battles he frees our minds from

worry he makes us peaceful and calm he lets us rest in him because he's got everything in check God takes away our worries and replaces them with faith you see worry is an absence of Faith it's an anticipation of something negative when you're worried you can't say you have faith the two work inversely proportionally to affect How we respond to challenges and trying moments of life when we have faith worry diminishes and when worry flourishes Faith diminishes inviting God into our battles helps us let go of worry and cling to Faith we have hope and

believe that in our own time God will make our circumstances beautiful even when the difficulties endure we're not worried because nothing shall harm us as long as God is on our side besides it won't be Long before he unveils his master plan to us and we get to see how all the pieces fit together if you are listening to the sound of my voice right now I want to tell you that it's time to invite God into that battle people might have told you that your problem or difficulty has no solution but God is saying

something different it's time to let go and let God in it's high time you let go of that worry that anxiety about the future that Stress of your marriage that it's falling apart whatever it is that's keeping you awake at night it's time you let God handle it that thing that is constantly ringing in your mind it's time you let God take care of it he promises that he'll work all things out in your favor if you only believe in him don't forget God is the Mighty Man in [Music] battle many of us are at

the point where we are just waiting for the year to end It's been a tough one at least a number of people around me have told me so it was filled with ups and downs so many struggles and at this point very few people are optimistic that something can happen before the year ends and transform their lives for the better so we try again next year that is what we have resolved to perhaps you relate to this it has been such a long time trying to put your life in order but everything has just been

heading south your plans Never materialize and every time you end up up in a worse State you feel so downtrodden and helpless like there's just no more fight in you this is why I have come in to tell you that you do not need to fight the reason you are feeling so exhausted is you have been trying to plan your life on your own you left God out of the picture and as his child this should not be the case God doesn't want to be a third wheel in our lives he Should be the priority

the kind of friend who when they say they are not going to an event you don't either and when they pass by your house and tell you to hop in the car you do not ask where you're going however in our spirit of self-sufficiency and Independence we tend to sideline God we take over his place in our lives we start to fight battles that were none of our business in the first place we push God farther And farther away until he has no choice but to let us stray as far as we will this never

ends well life is not yours to do alone God wants to be with you each and every step he wants to be your companion friend comforter and a shoulder to lean on he wants to be the one fighting your battles for you it's his work not yours your only duty is to trust him and let him do his thing there is no way to avoid the Troubles of life as long as we are here they will always Be there the Bible says in John 16:33 that in this world we will face troubles this means that

challenges of all kinds will find their way into your life however as a child of God you should not despair or feel help helpless God will always fight your battles he always has and always will he has proven to be faithful throughout scripture through several men like Joshua Elijah King David and King Josiah there is one who has a Particularly fascinating narrative about choosing to trust and worship in the face of overwhelming odds that is King Jehoshaphat King of the southern side of Judah this particular story about Jehoshaphat is told in 2 Chronicles 20 King

Jehoshaphat is surrounded by three vast armies and a war is looming the impending Invasion and destruction of his kingdom threatens him but his response to this is very fascinating instead of gathering Together all his army men and getting ready for war this King gathers all his people together to pray and Worship the Lord he humbles himself in prayer and cries out to God telling him about the difficulty they are about to endure from the surrounding Nations and then he says this in verse 12 Oh Our God will you not execute judgment on them for we

are powerless against this great horde that is coming against us we do not not know what to do but our eyes are on you ESV what faith in God how many times do you acknowledge that you do not know what to do but your eyes are on the Lord how many times when you're in difficulty do you look up to the Lord to help you many times we are so intent on saving ourselves that we forget about the existence of God in our lives we are so filled with the me myself and I mentality that

God no longer has the opportunity to reveal his power through us this is not what Jehoshaphat does he Could have gathered his men for war or even looked for help from the Allies he had among the surrounding Nations but instead he chose to seek the help of God God responds to Jehoshaphat by speaking through one of the Levites president in the Gathering saying thus says the Lord to you do not be afraid and do not be dismayed at this great horde for the battle is not yours but God's verse 15 ESV what a relief to

know that God is Fighting for us we need not gather our armies we need not seek the help of our friends train endlessly getting ready for the upcoming war or even fight it because it's not our battle but the Lord's the people of Judah devoted their energy to worshiping the Lord and in return he fought the Battle for them when they went to the Battleground they were met by an incredible sight verse 24 says when Judah came to the Watchtower of the Wilderness they looked toward the Horde and behold there were dead bodies lying on

the ground none had escaped while the people of God were worshiping him he set out against the three armies turning them against one another so that they fought and killed each other by the time the people of God arrived there was no battle left to fight it was finished God had won we will find ourselves in many Battlegrounds in this life perhaps when you became born again you hoped that it Was the end of your suffering perhaps you thought that now that you were a child of God no one would touch you you had suffered

so much in the hands of the world and now you could not wait to relax and rest in the Lord this had to be the mentality that the Israelites had when Moses rescued them from bondage in Egypt that the end to their painful existence had come and now it was the time to rest and lavish in the land of milk and honey but when we Read the books that tell the history of the Israelites you will notice that promise was far from near it was now time for the real war in fact the first thing

they had to do was gather their army and go to war against the city of Jericho then the city of I and then one by one they fought all the other cities of Canaan this happens to us as well we come into the Lord to rest but sooner or later we realize that the Christian life is not a playground but a Battleground we are attacked endlessly from all fronts we do not fight each other or our fellow Believers but against Satan the grip he has on the people all around us and his attempts to try

to defeat us and our efforts to build God's Kingdom in Ephesians 6:12 Paul writes for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against the rulers against the authorities against the cosmic Powers over this present Darkness against the Spiritual forces of evil in the Heavenly places the Contemporary English version says we are not fighting against humans we are fighting against forces and authorities and against rulers of darkness and powers in the spiritual world when you study the scripture you will realize that this is a war that has been ongoing for Generations the opposition between

good and evil it has been there from the beginning of time even though sometimes We will ultimately be drawn into this fight we must not forget that the battles belong to the lord it's his to fight and the Victory is already his Jesus Christ triumphed over sin and the powers of darkness when he died and Rose conquering Satan and all his Works God has your back in all battles whether they manifest in your job or family or whether it's battles against Temptation thoughts of worry and depression mental or physical health or spiritual ones he Is

on the Battleground not as a spectator but as the one on the front line he is fighting for you this battle is his to fight and win whatever difficulty or struggle you are experiencing in life you have a choice at all times to react in fear or run you can choose to do everything within your own power to take care of your situation and try to keep it under your control or you can pack up and leave running away and staying far ahead Of the danger you can freeze up and be overrun by the evil

that sits before you or you could lift your eyes and hands to heaven in the battle and worship God knowing that he is fighting for you you can rest in the assurance that he has overcome the world and all its evil you can choose to keep your hope in the Lord knowing that he is greater than anything you can ever face in this life there is no challenge in your life that is too big or too small for him to handle he Has a way out for each and everything that could be troubling you Jesus

Christ has already decisively won the battle on the cross however we must still continue to resist the enemy and all his schemes even though we do so we must always remember that we are fighting an enemy who has already been defeated as soon as Christ's nail-pierced resurrected feet touched the Earth outside the tomb he secured a victory over sin and death for all of us and we Are assured of a day when he will come again and put an end to all of this he will put our enemies under his feet overcoming them forever and

the dust of this battle will settle and we will be welcomed to a renewed and peaceful world until then we must strive to flee from all evil even though this battle is not our own we are involved in it by virtue of being the children of the light we are greatly impacted but are not to feel defeated because God will never send us To battle alone he is always with us fighting for and with us God is the Lord of heavenly armies who fights for his people he is a warrior who fought for his people

in the days of King Jehoshaphat and he still fights for his people because his faithful love endures forever he is enthroned Upon Our praises and his power and wisdom are as close as our prayers all the battles in our lives belong to him you feel secure when you know Someone someone better stronger and wealthier than you is watching out for you that sense of security is what every child of God should have because God is looking after you he is fighting your battles for you sometimes you may see the enemies and God's hand fighting for

you at other times you may only see the enemies raging against you either way your Victory is not because of your power or anything you possess your victory solely lies in God Elijah woke up one morning to a panick call from his servant his servant saw the enemies come up against his master and he was afraid Elijah on the other hand was calm he prayed that God would open his servants eyes to see the reality of the situation the servant's eyes opened and he saw fire surrounding them they were more than the enemies that had

come against them the Bible says greater Is He Who is in you than he that is in the world that is your Reality as a child of God in every battle you face God is right before you fighting your battles for you yours is not to fight when the Bible says we wrestled not against flesh and blood but against principalities and Powers it was a way of making Believers realize who their enemies were and not a way of endorsing them to fight Jesus has won the victory for you already and you can enjoy that victory

in Christ Joshua was fighting a battle when His eyes were opened he saw the commander of the host of Heaven himself and he asked are you for us or against us the answer was and will always be I am for you God is for you and not against you he is your trustworthy Ally he is a winner a champion that has never lost any battle and will never lose any battle even when you cannot see it God fights on your behalf all you have to do is to trust him the Bible says there is a

friend that sticks closer than a Brother the friend is Jesus he can do for you what your friends relatives and loved ones cannot do you may feel you are alone you might be truly alone friends and family may have left you trusted friends might have betrayed you but you should know that Jesus will not leave you he is fighting for you he loves you so much that he goes all out for your sake the least you can give him is your trust trust that he is fighting for you trust his abilities to see you Through

whatever you are going through you know that all power in heaven and on Earth has been given unto him the power is still with him he has not lost his power when the one who holds all the power in the universe is there fighting for you why are you then afraid the devil's aim is to beloud you so that you do not see God fighting for you just like Elijah's servant whenever you do not see God's power working in your life you tend to be afraid but when God opens your eyes to see your faith

will be strengthened there are some signs you will see in your life to know that God is truly fighting for you don't forget get that it is always the darkest before Dawn the fact that everything suddenly turns bad confusing and Tangled doesn't mean God has left you in fact that is an indication that he is on your case Victory is near and the devil is angry you do not have to see a cloud day By day or a pillar of Fire by night for you to know that God is with you you don't have to

see the host of angels with Chariots of Fire before you believe that you are never alone Matthew 28:20 and surely I Am With You Always to the very end of the age those were Jesus's words to the disciples before he ascended into heaven it is also his words to you today no matter what you are going through he is with you Fighting for you he said he would build a wall of fire around you he reproves Kings for your sake saying touch not my anointed and do my profits no harm are you a child of

God are you a follower of Christ then he is with you fighting your battles if he takes care of the animals who are not Redeemed by his blood do you think he will leave you to face the onslaught of the enemy alone the Bible says when the enemy comes against you Like a flood the Lord will raise a standard against them him he said to call on me on the day of trouble do you think he will show up and fold his hands of course not he will be present to fight for you Exodus 14:14

the Lord will fight for you you need only to be still when you feel an inward calm despite the outward noise and storm around that is an indication that God is fighting your battles for you the Cal You feel despite the storm is to make you know that the Prince of Peace has stepped in when you take refuge in God's words you will often have peace during the storm another sign that God is fighting your battles is that he reveals the secrets of the enemies to you don't forget that God knows every secret when he

begins to expose the plans of the wicked to you open your eyes to see the counsel of the enemy against you he is Trying to SA save you from falling victim to the enemy's plans there was a time when the king of Syria became confused and livid he was sure that there was a spy among the armies because the children of Israel always knew his plan and they escaped his traps many times one of his Warriors told him they were all loyal to him but there was a prophet in Israel who heard even the plans

he made in his chambers that is how God gives you Victory over your enemies that is one of his strategies for ensuring that you remain Victorious always when everything the enemy thought hidden gets exposed to you don't think that it is because you're wise or smart or intelligent when you avoid the Trap of the enemy it is not because you are wise but because God is fighting for you you cannot know the secret of the enemy on your own you need the Divine help of God for that when you see it forthcoming It is a

sign that God is fighting for you Herod planned to kill baby Jesus he wanted to stop the Redemption plan but God stopped the wise men from going back to him to give him an update and he became angry so he planned to kill all the children below two years in the land yet God revealed the plan to Joseph and told him to escape with Mary and Jesus God is looking out for you he deliberately makes you a minute late to avoid falling into the Trap Of The Devil Sometimes he hides things from you so you

don't make wrong decisions he exposes cunning business partners he reveals the plot of your jealous co-workers that is all God fighting for you making sure that you don't fall like a pack of cards before your enemies don't forget that the chief enemy is the devil he is the one who moves your co-workers to plot evil against you you he is the one who Alters the normaly of life to cause an accident For you God in his mercies is a step ahead of the devil and sometimes he makes you see the devil's plans as an act

of his mercies when some people bound themselves with a curse that they would not eat or drink until they killed Paul God made his relative overhear their conversation and warn Paul once you see the plans of the enemies exposed before you it is a sign that God is fighting for you the Revelation should not make You afraid or Restless rather you should praise God for revealing them to you Romans 8:31 What then shall we say in response to these things if God is for us who can be against us no one no one is strong

enough to withstand the mighty hand of God no power on Earth is strong enough to defeat you you need to face life with a confidence that as long as you remain true to God you are undefeatable when you feel alone or down Don't forget that God gives his angels a charge over you in the temptation of Jesus the devil also acknowledge the fact that God will send his angels to protect his children so that no harm will come to them God is maticulous in his dealings with men he loves you so much to leave what

has to do with you to chance as long as you are a child of God you have the Seal of God over you that seal is what will make you Untouchable from the enemies and even when the Enemies try they end up failing woefully cheer up beloved of God God is fighting for you he is moving things just for your sake he is making massive plans for you to take you to where you ought to be the plan of the devil is to discourage you to make you doubt the plans of God for you when

you notice intense attacks God is fighting for you when the devil tries to discourage you or make you give up on God that is when you need to hold on as if your life Depends on it because that is a sign that your Victory is near when the opposition persecution and hatred against you becomes intense you should Rejoice because Victory is at the door that is a sign that you have gotten to the verge of Victory and the devil is trying his last attempt to get you down just as he lost his battle when Jesus

was resurrected he will lose concerning your case when the devil introduces an Alternative to make you shift away from God's plan that is a sign that God's victory for you is coming close don't turn aside on the day of battle don't take off your armor because salvation is nearer than you think let it register in your subconscious that God is always fighting for you for as long as you leave the battle to him he is before you don't allow fear or Panic to get a place in your heart because you are more than a [Music]

conqueror truth be told life does get hard sometimes for every one of us different struggles show up daily in our lives we struggle with family challenges finances mean employers job loss exam failures Etc others happen on the inside such as mental health disorders depression sorrow and loneliness we fail so hard that we begin to wonder what the point of life is if it is all just a miserable existence what is the point of These struggles if we are going to die in the end I mean most of us have gotten to a point where we

don't see the value of life to make it even worse these are not easy times we experience days of looming sadness Despair and hopelessness things that steal our joy and make us feel alienated from the world around us events that wipe the smile from our faces in situations and days we can't even feel the presence and love of God in our Lives during these times God seems like a distant idea or some fictional being who doesn't care about us answer our prayers or at least keep us from getting into bad situations we feel angry betrayed

or are hurt by his refusal to act while our lives are falling apart does he see does he hear our cries does he ever care the truth is God does hear our cries he sees our tears he listens and answers our prayers and even more he fights our Battles whatever the challenge we Face be it physical emotional or mental we must never forget that God fights for us always the Bible says that he is our protector he never never Slumbers nor sleeps but watches over us he doesn't let his eyes close even for a micr

second he's always keeping you safe you must realize that in the desperation that comes along with hard times the enemy will try all he can to feed you lies he will tell you that God Doesn't love you and that is why he let you into the mess you are in he will tell you that God doesn't listen to you and that is why your prayers have gone unanswered for a long time he will tell you that if God cared about about you he'd have shown up for you already that is what the enemy does he

tries to use every opportunity to shake your faith in the Lord he is always on the lookout waiting for you to expose your vulnerable points so he can attack we Must know that this enemy is greater than the problem itself he's more than what we can see someone who has wronged us our struggles and weaknesses and the negative thoughts we fight daily because he is The Mastermind behind our challenge es he masks himself as a financial problem an illness relationship struggles or misunderstandings between you and your spouse disguised as a problem he tries to make

you forget your identity in Christ fall victim to his trick and fall off your salvation this is how he works and as a Believer standing firm in your faith in Christ you can be assured that this will keep happening challenges and problems will always be present in your life this is not to indicate that God is Not there but that whatever you're doing is disturbing the kingdom of darkness your Firm Stance on the truth of the Gospel is not settling well with the Enemy and that is why he will do Anything to make you backslide

as a Believer who is living like salt and light in a dark world you are a nuisance to the Prince of Darkness and because of this you won't go for long without encountering obstacles and attacks he'll hurl in your direction however we have this hope in God our father that he is always with us in every situation we find ourselves in every circumstance every dark scenario or dark hole that life's difficulties Have thrown us our hope is in the Lord Jesus in his promise that he will always be there with us our God is greater

than any battle we face he fights for us always giving us the victory that Christ has already won for us on the cross If You're In the Heat of the battle right now or if the enemy is hot on your Trail please know that you're not alone never neither are you left to fight on your own God is with you fighting for you he has given us this great Assurance in Isaiah 41:10 fear not for I am with you be not dismayed for I am your God I will strengthen you I will help you I

will uphold you with my righteous right hand Isaiah 43:2 when you pass through the waters I will be with you and when you pass through the rivers they will not sweep over you when you walk through the fire you will not be burned the Flames will not set you Ablaze it may seem like God is so far away or that he has abandoned or forsaken you but that will never be the case child God is always with you he is not blind to your tears neither is he deaf to your cries surely the arm of

the Lord is not too short to save nor his ear too dull to hear Isaiah 591 God God is right there in the middle of your troubles worry sorrow or depression he doesn't just sit and watch as you battle the enemy alone he fights For you the Bible has so many stories that we can read and feel encouraged in the Lord when the Israelites were rescued from Egypt through Moses they came up to the shores of the Red Sea and behind them the Egyptian horses were in Hot Pursuit they felt trapped and hopeless crying out

to Moses and blaming him for bringing them into the Wilderness where they die this is the message that the lord gave to Moses to pass to the people do not be afraid Stand firm and you will see the Deliverance the Lord will bring you today the Lord will fight for you you need only to be still Exodus 14:13-14 when David was going to fight the Philistine Giant Goliath who was advantaged in both physical stature and weaponry this is what he said to him you come against me with sword and Spear and Jab but I come

against you in the name of the Lord Almighty the god of the armies Of israels whom you have defied 1st Samuel 1745 and in verse 47 the Bible says for the battle is the Lord's King Jehoshaphat was a good king of Judah whom the Bible says was devoted to the ways of the Lord 2 Chronicles 20 tells the story of three vast armies who descended on Jehoshaphat with intentions to go to war alarmed Jehoshaphat resed to inquire of the Lord and He proclaimed a fast for all Judah the people of Judah Came together to seek

help from the Lord verses 3- 4 he led his people in prayer and worship to the Lord and in his fear of the armies and looming War he confess that he didn't know what to do but our eyes are on you such a beautiful expression of trust and faith in God God answered Jehoshaphat through a prophet telling himo not be afraid or discouraged because of of this vast Army for the battle is not yours but God's verse 15 when we Face battles it is normal to feel afraid or scared that our enemy will overpower us

and destroy us we might even doubt the presence of the Lord in our lives or his active intervention in the struggles we Face however we must never forget that the Lord is always on our side with him we are not just trying our luck or fighting with slim odds of winning we are assured of his active and loving presence in our lives even on the days when we can't Feel his power divinely moving in us we should trust that he is working behind the scenes fighting battles that we know and others that we do not

he never leaves us to fight on our own he is always there constantly working on our behalf shielding protecting strengthening exposing Deeds of Darkness covering us from the cruel attacks we Face even when we're unaware in the mysterious detours that our lives may take as the Lord Works in our lives Sometimes we may not understand what is happening however even during those times we can trust in the assurance that God has the best plan for us and that he is working daily to actualize that plan his will for us is good and perfect so we

can entirely Place Our Hope in him the enemy might attack us from all sides but he will never win Victory will always be the Lord's and ours as his sons and daughters if we pray for wisdom of the Lord and the power to discern the Schemes of the evil one in ways to avoid them he the enemy will have no control over us may the Lord help us as the Salt and Light of the World to remain steadfast in him and unyielding to sin that is the calling we have been given as Believers in Christ

even in the midst of tragedies pain due to different reasons loss and Devastation the Lord promises to give us peace and to be our Pillar of Strength when we feel weak when the world treats us unfairly Wrongly or persecutes us we have a fair judge in the High Heavens who will bring us Justice we should not be afraid but turn to him with all that trouble us no weapon formed that is formed against you will prosper Isaiah 54:17 that is our heritage in the Lord our inherited blessing possession and gift straight from his hand no

matter what comes your way you have been called to live a life of boldness and Trust In Our Father in Heaven he is with you Wherever you are no matter how dark it gets and how slim your chances of survival appear to be you've got to trust that the Lord is with you he is working a way out for you you do not have to see the way but you only need to have faith absolutely trust in our god he has never lied not even once and so when he says he will deliver you out

of that hard phase of your life he will he sees your pain he knows how hard you are trying he knows how deep you have fallen Into that pit of but he is getting you out the Lord will bring you the victory you so much desire but in the meantime just hold on and keep your Hope on him there is one common mistake that most Believers make and that is trying to live their lives how they know best without involving God it doesn't mean that it's wrong to have your life planned out but as a

Believer your every step should be directed by God for people who haven't Yet discovered how amazing it is to have the guidance of God in their lives it is understandable and we pray that one day they'll realize how easily manageable life gets when we receive salvation but for everyone else who has been born again who carries the mark of the lamb and has received the spirit of God you're no longer the one in charge the moment you receive Jesus into your life you surrender your life to Him to guide you to show you the way

to direct Your steps he leads and you follow now many of us are still caught up in the Maze that life can be sometimes where will I get my next job who will I marry Which business is more profitable where should I build my home we worry about all these things forgetting that as children of God we are now our father's responsibility it is his job to take care of you to know what you will eat where you'll work who will be the mother or father of your kids where your eldest Child will go to

college and all that the moment we receive Jesus and surrender Our Lives to God God takes over the responsibility of driving and planning our lives we are not on our own anymore God has control over our lives and he is willing to help us in every aspect we need help God is more than willing and more than ready to help you with anything you may need be it your school life your finances your workplace or even your family he is ready to help You in addition he has given you the gift of the Holy Spirit

as a helper the job of the holy spirit is to be with you always everywhere you go and in everything you do so that he may help you the chief role of the holy spirit in your life is to help in anything and everything so you don't have to try and figure everything out by yourself you don't have to look for a job all by yourself don't spend sleepless nights worrying about what your family will eat What they will wear that is the work of God and his spirit in you your only duty is to

cultivate your relationship with him your duty in all this is to grow your faith in God what you really need to do is to ground yourself in your own personal walk with the Lord now that you're walking in God's perfect will for your life God will be the one to fully guide you into whatever he wants for your life the choice is no longer yours God has a perfect divine plan and Destiny set up for your life and he will be the one to guide you every step of the way into the Fulfillment of that

divine plan in Jeremiah 29:11 he says for I know the plans that I have for you says the Lord plans to give you peace and not to destroy you to give you a future and a hope he has also made everything beautiful in its time as we are told in Ecclesiastes 3:11 he has also set eternity in the human heart yet no one can fathom what God has done from Beginning to end you don't need to see or know how everything will work out all you have to do is have faith in him trust his

plan and not only does God have a set plan and a set future for your life but he also has set a timetable in which all of these plans will manifest in your life all you need now is patience God has a plan for your life and if you trust the planner you will also trust the plan he knows what he is doing with your life he knows Where he is taking you and no matter how uncomfortable it is to hit the road without a certain destination just hold on our God works in mysterious ways

and his methods are too complex for us to understand but Brethren at least we will have the assurance that our father's plans will always work in our favor so let him lead even if the journey is through dark valleys and thick forests he knows how you will survive his plans are always good for you and his Intentions are the purest but sometimes following ing God can seem very ridiculous in fact many times it just looks downright silly or Reckless because trust in God will sometimes mean starting a project without enough funds it's not the wisest

or most logical thing to do gauging by our human thoughts we would want to have a thought o plan and resources from start to end but this would mean we are putting our trust in the resources and our plan Rather than God we have a perfect example of a man who had blind faith in God Our Father Abraham the Lord told Abraham to relocate to a land he was going to show him I now want you to imagine yourself in Abraham's situation just think of that home that you've built for years or that you inherited

from your parents that home you have come to love so much that holds dear memories of you and your loved ones and then Here Comes our loving God all of a Sudden he wants you to abandon it and all your relatives and as if that is not bad enough he simply says he will show you where to go I mean it would have been better if God had told him where he was going he would have had some comfort but this is not what God did with Abraham the Lord had said to Abram go from

your country your people and your father's household to the land I will show you Genesis 121 and Abraham without even a single Complaint or the slightest feeling of Doubt arises and leaves just as the Lord had commanded him by faith Abraham followed God and the Bible testifies of Abraham's Act of Faith in Hebrews 11:8 by faith Abraham when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance obeyed and went even though he did not know where he was going that is how trusting God and letting him lead your life is sometimes

You never know where you are going you don't know what will happen tomorrow now that today is over but you just do it because God has asked you to you just follow him blindly because he knows where he is taking you because he knows what he is doing with your life it takes a lot of faith to surrender your life to God completely a lot of faith to be out there not knowing what you're doing but trusting that the initiator of it all must surely have a plan it is not easy Like I said earlier

sometimes it looks very stupid it doesn't make any sense at all but in the end all the missing pieces come together and you finally figure out what this jigsaw of your life has been all along there is nothing as rewarding as having faith in God our walk with him is not a walk of sight but one of Faith even when we don't see the entire staircase he wants us to believe him when he says take a step and do exactly That when we believe in God and let him lead while we follow he takes us

to the most beautiful destinations places we have never imagined ourselves being in we as humans like to be sure about the course of Our Lives because we believe that it is good for us for our career for our families for most things in our lives that may be true but God is the one that always has the best plans in store for us what we are holding on to may be good but we must let go of it and Make space for the best that God has for us most Christians miss the boat with God

when while trying to run their own lives by taking up what should be God's position in their lives you need to know that it is God who created you he knows you better than you know yourself He Knows Your Potential your capabilities your strengths as well as your weaknesses and he has formulated a plan on how to utilize all of them to make the best out of it your heavenly father Has a plan that will make use of your weaknesses and strengths your good and bad side simultaneously to mold them into a breathtakingly beautiful outcome

all you have to do is have faith in him let him lead you let him be your guide and live each day for him quit trying to live on your own trying to figure out everything for yourself let go of your numerous attempts to make your life look a certain way and let him guide you let go and let God he is the maker of your Life the author and finisher of your faith Trust trust in him with everything you have Proverbs 169 says that a man's heart plans his way but the Lord directs his

steps I know it can get rather stressful while waiting on God to bring the next job to you or a baby or to Simply direct you but this is where you really have to give yourself pep talks from time to time when you start to get discouraged do just like a professional athlete does when he starts to go into a Slump motivate yourself back into the game in this game with God we have to give ourselves pep talks from time to time telling ourselves that God has complete control of our entire situation that the ship

is not going to sink and that our breakthrough is around the corner until that happens rest in the Lord and follow while he leads otherwise you will drive yourself crazy with all the nervous energy that will start to eat away at you rob you of your peace And joy when it is all said and done you will look back on all this and see that you had wasted a tremendous amount of energy being negative trust me I have seen God come through for people in the depths of Despair time and time again without fail there

where you can establish your authority over the enemy you have to change your Battleground because in certain atmospheres the enemy schemes and tactics hold no water when a snake challenges an eagle in a fight the eagle doesn't worry because it knows what to Do the eagle understands that there are certain Heights the snake is powerless against even with its venom the eagle picks up the snake with its beak and travels to a great height dropping the snake from that height you must also learn the Eagle's way of fighting in the presence of God the enemy

cannot stand so every time you raise the consciousness of God above whatever is standing to challenge you you are changing your Battleground you are Taking the enemy enemy to a place where he loses power against you what happens when you let God fight your battles the first thing is that you enjoy lasting Victory can you imagine God losing a fight exactly he can never lose which is why Victory becomes your status quo when God is in the fight you also experience recovery of whatever the enemy took from you God doesn't only defeat the enemy he

only makes you busy without providing you a solution you must learn how to find your way to God he can help you if you allow him you must Listen and Obey God's instructions God will also need you to partner with him to defeat that enemy this is why he gives you responsibilities there in his instructions and you must heed them whenever God speaks to you in times of challenges he has a plan now your Openness to his instructions will determine your Victory God gave Jehoshaphat an instruction that didn't seem logical in a battle he told

him there was a better strategy 2 Chronicles 20:1 17 says you will not have to fight this battle take up your positions stand firm and see the Deliverance the Lord will give you Judah and Jerusalem King Jehoshaphat obeyed and the result of that obedience was a victory he didn't have to lift a sword because he followed The Lord's instructions sometimes God might want you to step back from certain battles as he did with David at other times he might ask you to pursue overtake and recover this is why you must be sensitive to hear what

he says about each battle you face you can be sure that as you keep his instructions you'll be on The Winning Side you must do what he tells you to ensure victory over the enemy you also have to show that you Need God's help God is always Swift to help those who seek his assistance the times when you refuse to ask God for help mostly show that you're still trying to do it all by yourself and until you get to the point where you see that only God can show you the way out you will

keep struggling God will let you go until you ask for his help you can learn to save time and energy by going right ahead and seeking him whenever you face battles every time you Run to God for help he steps right in to defend you because he knows that you are truly dependent upon him this was David's strategy in every battle he fought David fought a lot and he won all of them what do you think could have been David's secret for winning he never thought he could do it alone God always asked for help

before he took any step toward the enemy he was solely reliant on God's ability to deliver him David would never step Out in battle with the Enemy until God gave him approval Psalms 121: 1-3 I lift up my eyes to the mountains where does my help come from my help comes from the Lord the maker of heaven and Earth he will not let your foot slip He Who Watches Over you will not Slumber why do you think David was so keen on asking God God's help it was because he knew that God was his only

way out his strength armies and armories were insignificant without God's help You too must not think you can handle these situations alone what you're up against is far more than you can handle alone against the enemy you might be little but with God you are more than a conqueror you must let go of what you think you know you have to understand that the weapons the enemy comes against you with are not natural and as such your natural efforts can also not keep him away you must come in battle against him with your spiritual weapons

yes God Gave You tools that you can use to hold off the enemy schemes and enforce Victory Ephesians 6:1 says put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil schemes these weapons are power powerful and Superior to your enemy's best strategies you must learn to use them to your advantage because you need them throughout your life the enemy never stops scheming ways to bring you down he is always looking for what to kill steal Or destroy in your life this is why you must always stand guard and

prepare for when he comes you must refuse the spirit of fear there's a reason that God didn't give any weapon for your back back side he doesn't expect you to run away from the enemy and that is exactly what fear makes you do your human instincts whenever you face difficulty or fear or anxiety but God wants your reaction to be different he wants you to face your Battles headon with the identity of whom you are which is an image bearer of the one true Living God God's word is an indispensable weapon against the enemy you

can use it to raise a stand Ed against him this is why you must keep meditating on the word allow it to saturate your spirit so you can resist the enemy with what you know from God's word his word is a two-edged sword and it is fierce in battle in the same way faith is a weapon this is why you must Have faith in God you cannot receive God's help if you don't believe in his ability to defeat the enemy God's word says that you must put all your trust in God when dealing with God

you can hold on to him because he has never lost a battle but if you don't trust him you stand no chance against the enemy you'll be like a house built upon sand such a house cannot stand against the flood or wind circumstances will sweep it away because it has no solid foundation this Is why you must raise your faith in God as a shield it can quench the fiery darts of the enemy faith is one of the greatest weapons that you can access in God God it will help you stand on the day of

battle and it will give you the power to face the enemy headstrong you must also not take the place of prayer for granted it is essential in this ongoing warfare prayers keep the enemy away it also helps you to be desensitized to his Attacks prayer makes you a Watchman and nothing goes past the eye of a Watchman he is always prepared to strike a threat against his territory this is how you can keep ensuring your Victory you must also keep in mind that there will be an end to these battles you'll not always have to

face health concerns or financial challenges spiritual warfare has an end and the Bible says that the exceptions of those who seek God will not delay you will Surely experience Victory because your battles are now in God's hands when it's all over you'll be shouting for joy and singing songs of praise let God handle that battle today and see his Mighty hand in your life in the Bible the book of Romans 8:31 says What then shall we say in response to these things if God is with us who can be against us now this is a

scripture that carries with it victory in all things that we may face if God is For us then who can be against us we can reconstruct it and ask if I have God then what can be against me if I have God what is it that can bring me down if I have God on my side what is it that can overwhelm me beat me up make me feel defeated hopeless and despairing in life simply there is nothing that can be against you when God is involved you see that pain sorrow rough relationship the struggle

with sin and drug addiction the reason it is Overwhelming you is that you want to do it all on your own you are just there lamenting over unfortunate situations feeling sad about yourself but unwilling to let God intervene Hard Times persist when we refuse to let God work them out for us before God created man he said let us make Mankind in our image and likeness this is because he wanted you to be in fellowship with him he wanted us to live according to his plan for us he wanted us to involve him in every

Single aspect of Our Lives whether social academic Financial family life or anything but more times than not we set out on a single sale we decide to do life on our own we refuse to accept the help and company that God has freely given to us no wonder we end up giving up on dreams and feeling like the worst of failures being on your own was never the intention of God just take a keen study of your life look at the Ventures that you set out to do alone without Involving God how successful were they

I bet many times if not all you ended up achieving nothing again study the things that you involve God from the start look at the things that you did under the guidance of the Holy Spirit notice how different they all turned out when you involved God in the situation things that you thought to be impossible become possible the obstacles you encountered before are now stepping stones that help you climb to the top and if right now You're in that situation where you're feeling nothing is moving it's like you're trapped and you're suffocating and you just

can't see a way out it's time to invite God into the battle and this is for you as well as myself we were never created to be like orphans out in the world without help or anything God is always more than ready to help us as long as we invite him into our struggles he's always waiting for our Cry for Help the Bible says that he Is an everpresent help in times of need Proverbs 18:10 says the name of the Lord is a fortified Tower the righteous run to it and are safe the name of

the Lord is a wonder and Miracle workking name at its mention even demons tremble God is Almighty and powerful and as long as we let him into the battles we Face we will always emerge victory torious let's look at David from the Bible he was only a young man who was very inexperienced at War and small in Stature yet very bold in the god of Israel when Goliath the Philistine came up against the Israelites causing them to tremble in fear David as young and inexperienced as he was stood up to fight the giant this must

have appeared to be a very ridiculous move it was obvious that David was no match for the Giant Goliath many people must have thought he was certainly going to die 1st Samuel 17:37 says the Lord who rescued me from The Paw of The Lion and the Paw of the bear will rescue me from the hands of this Philistine David first acknowledged God and how he had been faithful to him in the past anytime we're caught in a situation that frightens us or makes us feel very inferior we should recount the things God has done for

us before how he delivered us out of situations that threatened to kill us we should call to mind that time when we had lost All hope of living yet God came through for us when we do this we replenish our faith stores and feel more confident in God we are assured that if he did that for us in the past then nothing can stop him from doing it for us again in verse 45 David said to the Philistine you come against me with sword and Spear and Javelin but I come come against you in the

name of the Lord Almighty the god of the armies of Israel whom you have defied verses 49 and 50 say reaching Into his bag and taking out a stone he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead the stone sank into his forehead and he fell face down on the ground so David triumphed over the Philistine and with a sling and a stone without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him the Philistine Army was very large Goliath himself was a sight to behold he was very huge and terrifying

and no man could even dare face him yet David by The faith he had in God's power did he was not even armed he only depended on God and this made all the difference David didn't need a large army he didn't need to be physically as huge as Israel's enemy he didn't need the protective gear that Saul had offered him he didn't need weapon like the ones Goliath carried he only needed God many times we think that we're in difficult moments because we are this way or we lack this we think it's because of a

Particular thing that our lives are the way they are we think to ourselves if only I could get this amount of money if only I had grown up in a well-functioning family if only someone could love me if only I was more muscular or attractive if only I had had connections with people in top positions if only this could happen then all my troubles would be over then I could defeat this giant in my life then I could be happy once again so many Wishes yet we refuse to acknowledge the one person who has all

we need and that is God God has everything you have always wanted he has the victory you so much long for he has the power and the means to get you out of that situation he has connections with people who will help you he has the riches and wealth that you tire so much to get this is why the Bible tells us to First seek the kingdom of God and all other things will be added to us let God into your life Let him into your battles invite God to those dark areas of your life

that you feel so embarrassed of invite God into your struggles when God gets into the game everything changes when he takes over he turns all things around he says in Isaiah 43: 19 behold I am doing a new thing do you not perceive it when you invite God into your battle that thing that has been troubling you for months or years is well taken care of God will transform Our Lives as long as we let Him in our sail he takes care of all things things working them out for our good if we choose to

believe in him God doesn't want us to struggle alone he wants to give us life and life in abundance that's why he says in Matthew 11: 28-30 come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls for my Yoke is easy and my burden is light God wants us to have rest in him he may not make the battle end immediately he may not give us Victory

right away he may not even make it end completely at any point in our lives but he will do this one thing he will give us peace amidst our problems he will give us rest when the battle is ongoing for he takes it over he will make sure that our minds and hearts are not troubled by anything but that we have Peace that's why he says in John 14: 27 peace I leave with you my peace I give you I do not give to you as the world gives do not let your hearts be troubled

and do not be afraid the moment we invite God into our battles he frees our minds from worry he makes us peaceful and calm he lets us rest in him because he's got everything in check God takes away our worries and replaces them with faith you see worry is an absence of Faith it's an Anticipation of something negative when you're worried you can't say you have faith the two worked inversely proportionally to affect how we respond to challenges and trying moments of life when we have faith worry diminishes and when worry flourishes Faith diminishes inviting

God into our battles helps us let go of worry and cling to Faith we have hope and believe that in our own time God will make our circumstances beautiful even when the Difficulties endure we're not worried because nothing shall harm us as long as God is on our side besides it won't be long before he unveils his master plan to us and we get to see how all the pieces fit together if you are listening to the sound of my voice right now I want to tell you that it's time to invite God into that

battle people might have told you that your problem or difficulty has no solution but God is saying something Different it's time to let go and let God in it's high time you let go of that worry that anxiety about the future that stress of your marriage that it's falling apart whatever it is that's keeping you awake at night it's time you let God handle it that thing that is constantly ringing in your mind it's time you let God take care of it he promises that he'll work all things out in your favor if you only

believe in him don't forget God is the Mighty Man in [Music] battle many of us are at the point where we are just waiting for the year to end it's been a tough one at least a number of people around me have told me so it was filled with ups and Downs so many struggles and at this point very few people are optimistic that something can happen before the year ends and transform their lives for the better so we try again next year that is what we have resolved to perhaps you relate to This it

has been such a long time trying to put your life in order but everything has just been heading south your plans never materialize and every time you end up in a worse State you feel so downtrodden and helpless like there's just no more fight in you this is why I have come in to tell you that you do not need to fight the reason you are feeling so exhausted is you have been trying to plan your life on your own you left God Out of the picture and as his child this should not be the

case God doesn't want to be a third wheel in our lives lives he should be the priority the kind of friend who when they say they are not going to an event you don't either and when they pass by your house and tell you to hop in the car you do not ask where you're going however in our spirit of self-sufficiency and Independence we tend to sideline God we take over his place in our lives we start to fight Battles that were none of our business in the first place we push God farther and farther

away until he has no choice but to let us stray as far as we will this never ends well life is not yours to do alone God wants to be with you each and every step he wants to be your companion friend comforter and a shoulder to lean on he wants to be the one fighting your battles for you it's his work not yours your only duty is to trust him and let Him do his thing there is no way to avoid the Troubles of life as long as we are here they will always be

there the Bible says in John 16:33 that in this world we will face troubles this means that challenges of all kinds will find their way into your life however as a child of God you should not dis spare or feel helpless God will always fight your battles he always has and always will he has proven to be faithful throughout Scripture through several men like Joshua Elijah King David and King Josiah there is one who has a particularly fascinating narrative about choosing to trust and worship in the face of overwhelming odds that is King Je Jehoshaphat

King of the southern side of Judah this particular story about Jehoshaphat is told in 2 Chronicles 20 King Jehoshaphat is surrounded by three vast armies and a war is looming the impending Invasion and destruction of His kingdom threatens him but his response to this is very fascinating instead of gathering together all his army men and getting ready for war this King gathers all his people together to pray and Worship the Lord he humbles himself in prayer and cries out to God telling him about the difficulty they are about to endure from the surrounding Nations and

then he says this in verse 12 Oh Our God will you not execute judgment on them for we are Powerless against this great horde that is coming against us we do not know what to do but our eyes are on you ESV what faith in God how many times do you acknowledge that you do not know what to do but your eyes are on the Lord how many times when you're in difficulty do you look up to the Lord to help you many times we are so intent on saving ourselves that we forget about the

existence of God in our lives we are so Filled with the me myself and I mentality that God no longer has the opportunity to reveal his power through us this is not what Jehoshaphat does he could have gathered his men for war or even looked for help from the Allies he had among the surrounding Nations but instead he chose to seek the help of God God responds to Jehoshaphat by speaking through one of the Levites present in the Gathering saying thus says the Lord to you do not be afraid and do not be Dismayed at

this great horde for the battle is not yours but God's verse 15 ESV what a relief to know that God is fighting for us we need not gather our armies we need not seek the help of our friends train endlessly getting ready for the upcoming War war or even fight it because it's not our battle but the Lord's the people of Judah devoted their energy to worshiping the Lord and in return he fought the Battle for them when they went to the Battleground they Were met by an incredible sight verse 24 says when Judah came

to the Watchtower of the Wilderness they looked toward the horde and behold there were dead bodies lying on the ground ground none had escaped while the people of God were worshiping him he set out against the three armies turning them against one another so that they fought and killed each other by the time the people of God arrived there was no battle left to fight it was finished God had Won we will find ourselves in many Battlegrounds in this life perhaps when you became born again you hoped that it was the end of your suffering

perhaps you thought that now that you were a child of God no one would touch you you had suffered so much in the hands of the world and now you could not wait to relax and rest in the Lord this had to be the mentality that the Israelites had when Moses rescued them from bondage in Egypt that the end to their painful Existence had come and now it was the time to rest and lavish in the land of milk and honey but when we read the books that tell the history of the Israelites you will

notice that promise was far from near it was now time for the real war in fact the first thing they had to do was gather their army and go to war against the city of Jericho then the city of I and then one by one they fought all the other cities of Canaan this happens to us as well we Come into the Lord to rest but sooner or later we realize that the Christian life is not a playground but a Battleground we are attacked endlessly from all fronts we do not fight each other or our

fellow Believers but against Satan the grip he has on the people all around us and his attempts to try to defeat us and our efforts to build God's Kingdom in Ephesians 6:12 Paul writes for we do not wrestle against against flesh and blood but Against the rulers against the authorities against the cosmic Powers over this present Darkness against the spiritual forces of evil in the Heavenly places the Contemporary English version says we are not fighting against humans we are fighting against forces and authorities and against rulers of darkness and powers in the spiritual world when

you study the scripture you will realize that this is a war that has been ongoing for Generations the Opposition between good and evil it has been there from the beginning of time even though sometimes we will ultimately be drawn into this fight we must not forget that the battles belong to the lord it's his to fight and the Victory is already his Jesus Christ triumphed over sin and the powers of darkness when he died and Rose conquering Satan and all his Works God has your back in all battles whether they manifest in your job or

family or whether it's battles Against Temptation thoughts of worry and depression mental or physical health or spiritual ones he is on the Battleground not as a spectator but as the one on the front line he is fighting for you you this battle is his to fight and win whatever difficulty or struggle you are experiencing in life you have a choice at all times to react in fear or run you can choose to do everything within your own power to take care of your situation and try to keep it under Your control or you can pack

up and leave running away and staying far ahead of the danger you can freeze up and be overrun by the evil that sits before you or you could lift your eyes and hands to heaven in the battle and worship God knowing that he is fighting for you you can rest in the assurance that he has overcome the world and all its evil you can choose to keep your hope in the Lord knowing that he is greater than anything you can ever face in this life there There is no challenge in your life that is too

big or too small for him to handle he has a way out for each and everything that could be troubling you Jesus Christ has already decisively won the battle on the cross however we must still continue to resist the enemy and all his schemes even though we do so we must always remember that we are fighting an enemy who has already been defeated as soon as Christ's nail-pierced resurrected feet Touched the Earth outside the tomb he secured a victory over sin and death for all of us and we are assured of a day when he

will come again and put an end to all of this he will put our enemies under his feet overcoming them forever and the dust of this battle will settle and we will be welcomed to a renewed and peaceful world until then we must strive to flee from all evil even though this battle is not our own we are involved in it by virtue of being the children of The light we are greatly impacted but are not to feel defeated because God will never send us to battle alone he is always with us fighting for and

with us God is the Lord of Heaven Heavenly armies who fights for his people he is a warrior who fought for his people in the days of King Jehoshaphat and he still fights for his people because his faithful love endures forever he is enthroned Upon Our praises and his power and wisdom are as close as Our prayers all the battles in our lives belong to him you feel sec Ure when you know someone better stronger and wealthier than you is watching out for you that sense of security is what every child of God should have

were and not a way of endorsing them to fight Jesus has has Won the victory for you already and you can enjoy that victory in Christ Joshua was fighting a battle when his eyes were opened he saw the commander of the host of Heaven himself and he asked are you for us or against us the answer was and will always be I am for you God is for you and not against you he is your trustworthy Ally he is a winner a champion that has never lost any battle and will never lose any battle even

when you cannot see it God Fights on your behalf all you have to do is to trust him the Bible says there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother the friend is Jesus he can do for you what your friends relatives and loved ones cannot do you may feel you are alone you might be truly alone friends and family may have left you trusted friends might have betrayed you but you should know that Jesus will not leave you he is fighting for you he loves you so much that he goes all out For

your sake the least you can give him is your trust trust that he is fighting for you trust his abilities to see you through whatever you are going through you know that all power in heaven and on Earth has been given unto him the power is still with him he has not lost his power when the one who holds all the power in the universe is there fighting for you why are you then afraid the devil's aim is to beloud you so that you do not see God fighting for You just like Elijah's servant whenever

fire around you he reproves King for your sake saying touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm are you a child of God are you a follower of Christ then he is with you fighting your battles if he takes care of the animals who are not Redeemed by his blood do you think he will leave you to face the Onslaught of the enemy alone the Bible says when the enemy comes against you like a flood the Lord will raise a standard against them he said to call on me on the day of trouble

do you think he will show up and fold his hands of course not he will be present to fight for you Exodus 14:14 the Lord will fight for you you need only to be still when you feel an inward calm despite the outward noise and storm Around that is an indication that God is fighting your battles for you the calm you feel despite the storm is to make you know that the Prince of Peace has stepped in when you take refuge in God's words you will often have peace during the storm another sign that God

point of These struggles if we are going to die in the end I mean most of us have gotten to a point where we don't see the value of life to make it even worse these are not easy times we experience days of looming sadness Despair and hopelessness things that steal our joy and make us feel alienated from the world around us events that wipe the smile from our faces in situations and days we can't even feel the presence and love of God in our Lives during these times God seems like a distant idea or

some fictional being who doesn't care about us answer our prayers or at least keep us from getting into bad situations we feel angry betrayed or hurt by his refusal to act while our lives are falling apart does he see does he hear our cries does he ever care the truth is God does hear our cries he sees our tears he listens and answers our prayers and even more he fights our Battles whatever the challenge we Face be it physical emotional or mental we must never forget that God fights for us always the Bible says that

he is our protector he never Slumbers nor sleeps but watches over us he doesn't let his eyes close even for a micr second he's always keeping you safe you must realize that in the desperation that comes along with hard times the enemy will try all he can to feed you lies he will tell you that God Doesn't love you and that is why he let you into the mess you are in he will tell you that God doesn't listen to you and that is why your prayers have gone unanswered for a long time he will

tell you that if God cared about you he'd have shown up for you already that is what the enemy does he tries to use every opportunity to shake your faith in the Lord he is always on the lookout waiting for you to expose your vulnerable points so he can attack we Must know that this enemy is greater than the problem itself he's more than what we can see someone who has wronged us our struggles and weaknesses in the negative thoughts we fight daily because he is the master Mastermind behind our challenges he masks himself as

a financial problem an illness relationship struggles or misunderstandings between you and your spouse disguised as a problem he tries to make you forget your identity in Christ fall victim to his trick and fall off your salvation this is how he works and as a Believer standing firm in your faith in Christ you can be assured that this will keep happening challenges and problems will always be present in your life this is not to indicate that God is not there but that whatever you're doing is disturbing the kingdom of darkness your Firm Stance on the truth

of the Gospel is not settling well with the Enemy and that is why he will do Anything to make you backslide as a Believer who is living like salt and light in a dark world you are a nuisance to the Prince of Darkness and because of this you won't go for long without encountering obstacles and attacks he'll hurl in your direction however we have this hope in God our Father that he is always with us in every situation we find ourselves in every circumstance every dark scenario or dark hole that life's difficulties Have thrown us

our hope is in the Lord Jesus in his promise that he will always be there with us our God is greater than any battle we face he fights for us always giving us the victory that Christ has already won for us on the cross If You're In the Heat of the battle right now or if the enemy is hot on your Trail please know that you're not alone never neither are you left to fight on your own God is with you fighting for you he has given us this great Assurance in Isaiah 41:10 fear not

for I am with you be not dismayed for I am your God I will strengthen you I will help you I will uphold you with my righteous right hand Isaiah 432 when you pass through the waters I will be with you and when you pass through the rivers they will not sweep over you when you walk through the fire you will not be burned the Flames will not set you Ablaze it may seem like God is so far away or that he has abandoned or forsaken you but that will never be the case child God

is always with you he is not blind to your tears neither is he deaf to your cries surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save nor his ear too dull to hear Isaiah 591 one God is right there in the middle of your troubles worry sorrow or depression he doesn't just sit and watch as you battle the enemy alone he fights for you the Bible has so many stories that we can read and feel encouraged in the Lord when the Israelites were rescued from Egypt through Moses they came up to the

shores of the Red Sea and behind them the Egyptian horses were in Hot Pursuit they felt trapped and hopeless crying out to Moses and blaming him for bringing them into the Wilderness where they die this is the message that the lord gave to Moses to pass to the people do not be afraid stand firm and you will See the Deliverance the Lord will bring you today the Lord will fight for you you need only to be still Exodus 14:13-14 when David was going to fight the Philistine Giant Goliath who was advantaged in both physical stature

and weaponry this is what he said to him you come against me with sword and Spear and Javelin but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty the god of the armies of israels whom you have defied 1st Samuel 17:45 and in verse 47 the Bible says for the battle is the Lord's King Jehoshaphat was a good king of Judah whom the Bible says was devoted to the ways of the Lord 2 Chronicles 20 tells the story of three vast armies who descended on Jehosaphat with intentions to go to war alarm Med

Jehoshaphat resolved to inquire of the Lord and He proclaimed a fast for all Judah the people of Judah came together to seek Help from the Lord verses 3- 4 he led his people in prayer and worship to the Lord and in his fear of the armies and looming War he confessed that he didn't know what to do but our eyes are on you such a beautiful expression of trust in faith in God God answered Jehoshaphat through a prophet telling himo not be afraid are discouraged because of this vast Army for the battle is not yours

but God's verse 15 when we Face battles it is normal to Feel afraid or scared that our enemy will overpower us and destroy us we might even doubt the presence of the Lord in our lives or his active intervention in the struggles we Face however we must never forget that the Lord is always on our side with him we are not just trying our luck or fighting with slim odds of winning we are assured of his active and loving presence in our lives even on the days when we can't feel his power divinely moving in

us we Should trust that he is working behind the scenes fighting battles that we know and others that we do not he never leaves us to fight on our own he is always there constantly working on our behalf shielding protecting strengthening exposing Deeds of Darkness covering us from the cruel attacks we Face even when we're unaware in the mysterious detours that our lives may take is the Lord Works in our lives sometimes we may not understand what is Happening however even during those times we can trust in the assurance that God has the best plan

for us and that he is working daily to actualize that plan his will for us is good and perfect so we can entirely Place Our Hope in him the enemy might attack us from all sides but he will never win Victory will always be the Lord's and ours as his sons and daughters if we pray for wisdom of the Lord and the power to discern the schemes of the evil one in ways to avoid Them he the enemy will have no control over us may the Lord help us as the Salt and Light of the

World to remain steadfast in him and unyielding to sin that is the calling we have been given as Believers in Christ even in the midst of tragedies pain due to different reasons loss and Devastation the Lord promises to give us peace and to be our Pillar of Strength when we feel weak when the world treats us unfairly wrongly or persecutes us we have a fair Judge in the High Heavens who will bring us Justice we should not be afraid but turn to him with all that trouble us no weapon formed that is formed against you

will prosper Isaiah 54:17 that is our heritage in the Lord our inherited blessing possession and gift straight from his hand no matter what comes your way you have been called to live a life of boldness and Trust In Our Father in heaven he is with you wherever you are no Matter how dark it gets and how slim your chances of survival appear to be you've got to trust that the Lord is with you he is working a way out for you you do not have to see the way but you only need to have faith

absolutely trust in our god he has never lied not even once and so when he says he will deliver you out of that hard phase of your life he will he sees your pain he knows how hard you are trying he knows how deep you have fallen into that pit but he is Getting you out the Lord will bring you the victory you so much desire but in the meantime just hold on and keep your Hope on him there is one common mistake that most Believers make and that is trying to live their lives how

they know best without involving God it doesn't mean that it's wrong to have your life planned out but as a Believer your every step should be directed by God for people who haven't Yet discovered how amazing it is to have the guidance of God in their lives it is understandable and we pray that one day they'll realize how easily manageable life gets when we receive salvation but for everyone else who has been born again who carries the mark of the lamb and has received the spirit of God you're no longer the one in charge the

moment you receive Jesus into your life you surrender your life to Him to guide you to show you the way to direct Your steps he leads and you follow now many of us are still caught up in the Maze that life can be sometimes where will I get my next job who will I marry Which business is more profitable where should I build my home we worry about all these things forgetting that as children of God we are now our father's responsibility it is his job to take care of you to know what you will

eat where you'll work who will be the mother or father of your kids where your eldest Child will go to college and all that the moment we receive Jesus and surrender Our Lives to God God takes over the responsibility of driving and planning our lives we are not on our own anymore God has control over our lives and he is willing to help us in every aspect we need help God is more than willing and more than ready to help you with anything you may need be it your school life your finances your workplace or

even your family he is ready to help You in addition he has given you the gift of the Holy Spirit as a helper the job of the holy spirit is to be with you always everywhere you go and in everything you do so that he may help you the chief role of the holy spirit in your life is to help in anything and everything so you don't have to try and figure everything out by yourself you don't have to look for a job all by yourself don't spend sleepless nights worrying about what your family will

eat What they will wear that is the work of God and his spirit in in you your only duty is to cultivate your relationship with him your duty in all this is to grow your faith in God what you really need to do is to ground yourself in your own personal walk with the Lord now that you're walking in God's perfect will for your life God will be the one to fully guide you into whatever he wants for your life the choice is no longer yours God has a perfect divine plan and Destiny set up

for your life and he will be the one to guide you every step of the way into the Fulfillment of that divine plan in Jeremiah 29:11 he says for I know the plans that I have for you says the Lord plans to give you peace and not to destroy you to give you a future and a hope he has also made everything beautiful in its time as we are told in Ecclesiastes 311 he has also set eternity in the human heart yet no one can fathom what God has is done from Beginning to end you

don't need to see or know how everything will work out all you have to do is have faith in him trust his plan and not only does God have a set plan and a set future for your life but he also has set a timetable in which all of these plans will manifest in your life all you need now is patience God has a plan for your life and if you trust the planner you will also trust the plan he knows what he is doing with your life he knows Where he is taking you and

no matter how uncomfortable it is to hit the road without a certain destination just hold on our God works in mysterious ways and his methods are too complex for us to understand but Brethren at least we will have the assurance that our father's plans will always work in our favor so let him lead even if the journey is through dark valleys and thick forests he knows how you will survive his plans are always good for you and his Intentions are the purest but sometimes following God can seem very ridiculous in fact many times it just

looks downright silly or Reckless because trusting God will sometimes mean starting a project without enough funds it's not the wisest or most logical thing to do gauging by our human thoughts we would want to have a thought o plan and resources from start to end but this would mean we are putting our trust in the resources and our plan Rather than God we have a perfect example of a man who had blind faith in God our Father Abraham the Lord told Abraham to relocate to a land he was going to show him I now want

you to imagine yourself in Abraham's situation just think of that home that you've built for years or that you inherited from your parents that home you have come to love so much that holds dear memories of you and your loved ones and then Here Comes our loving God all of a Sudden he wants you to abandon it and all your relatives and as if that is not bad enough he simply say says he will show you where to go I mean it would have been better if God had told him where he was going he

would have had some comfort but this is not what God did with Abraham the Lord had said to Abram go from your country your people and your father's household to the land I will show you Genesis 121 and Abraham without even a single Complaint or the slightest feeling of Doubt arises and leaves just as the Lord had commanded him by faith Abraham followed God and the Bible testifies of Abraham's Act of Faith in Hebrews 11:8 by faith Abraham when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance obeyed and went even

though he did not know where he was going that is how trusting God and letting him lead your life is sometimes you never know where you are going you Don't know what will happen tomorrow now that today is over but you just do it because God has asked you to you just follow him blindly because he knows where he is taking you because he knows what he is doing with your life it takes a lot of faith to surrender your life to God completely a lot of faith to be out there not knowing what you're

doing but trusting that the initiator of it all must surely have a plan it is not easy like I said earlier sometimes it looks Very stupid it doesn't make any sense at all but in the end all the missing pieces come together and you finally figure out what this jigsaw of your life has been all along there is nothing as rewarding as having faith in God our walk with him is not a walk of sight but one of Faith even when we don't see the entire staircase he wants us to believe him when he says

take a step and do exactly That when we believe in God and let him lead while we follow he takes us to the most beautiful destinations places we have never imagined ourselves being in we as humans like to be sure about the course of Our Lives because we believe that it is good for us for our career for our families for most things in our lives that may be true but God is the one that always has the best plans in store for us what we are holding on to may be good but we must

let go of it and Make space for the best that God has for us most Christians Miss the boat with God while trying to run their own lives by taking up what should be God's position in their lives you need to know that it is God who created you he knows you better than you know yourself He Knows Your Potential your capabilities your strengths as well as your weaknesses and he has formulated a plan on how to utilize all of them to make the best out of it your heavenly father Has a plan that will

make use of your weaknesses and strengths your good and bad sides simultaneously to mold them into a breathtakingly beautiful outcome all you have to do is have faith in him let him lead you let him be your guide and live each day for him quit trying to live on your own trying to figure out everything for yourself let go of your numerous attempts to make your life look a certain way and let him guide you let go and let God he is the maker of your Life the author and finisher of your faith trust in

him with everything you have Proverbs 169 says that a man's heart plans his way but the Lord directs his steps I know it can get rather stressful while waiting on God to bring the next job to you or a baby or to Simply direct you but this is where you really have to give yourself pep talks from time to time when you start to get discouraged do just like a professional athlete does when he starts to go into a Slump motivate yourself back into the game in this game with God we have to give ourselves

pep talks from time to time telling ourselves that God has complete control of our entire situation that the ship is not going to sink and that our breakthrough is around the corner until that happens rest in the Lord and follow while he leads otherwise you will drive yourself crazy with all the nervous energy that will start to eat away at you rob you of your peace And joy when it is all said and done you will look back on all this and see that you had wasted a tremendous amount of energy being negative trust me

I have seen God come through for people in the depths of Despair time and time again without fail there is a saying that many have heard God is never late but he is never early this means that God will act according to his time schedule not ours have faith in him and let him lead you
