in the early hours of the 29th of June 2017 a woman was found dead in her apartment in Palm Beach County she was shot when an unknown masked gunman forced his way into the home and threatened the family but shot only the mother of three at 2: a. m. 911 received a call that would bring law enforcement and emergency services to the home of mcha Jenkins the color was her brother who had been home that fateful day along with her h husband and another friend the police arrived soon after but unfortunately Maka died in the hospital what was odd about this murder was how nothing seemed to add up why was only Maka unived she was a rich woman making a six- figure income so why was nothing stolen from her the criminal had also encountered maka's husband and brother so why didn't he end all of them as well what you would learn about the killer in this case will shock you this is the story of Maka Jenkins a pregnant mother of three whose death led to more questions than answers before we go further into covering the mysteries of this case we would like to offer our condolences to maka's loved ones especially her children who must now face a life without their mother let maka's story remind us of the importance of recognizing warning signs and relationships that could turn dangerous this story will take us to Palm Beach County Florida home to over one .
5 million residents it's a pretty safe place to live the chances of becoming a victim of violent crime are low because there are only 12 crimes per 1,000 residents unfortunately for Maka she would be one of the 12 Maka Harold Jenkins was raised in belglade Palm Beach county in a modest home her path was one of resilience marked by challenges hard work and determination she was not born to riches but after overcoming a series of failed Ventures she achieved financial success she earned her ba in criminology from the University of South Florida in 2005 and later completed her master's degree in social work at Barry University in 2009 despite all of these qualifications Maka would later become an entrepreneur with many business ventures on her LinkedIn profile she called herself a business strategist coincidentally mcka attended a church event in 2009 where she met Yuri Jenkins who had later become her husband in the year 2011 my wife yes I'll be they were both actively involved in their church choir so that was something they could bond over he decided to follow his dream of becoming a barber Maka on the other hand not only launched her small businesses but also motivated Yuri to pursue his passions in in the beginning she drafted business plans for friends and family without considering it a formal Venture she did not even ask for money while she was searching for her Niche and what she truly wanted to do her husband encouraged her to launch a Consulting business however she felt hesitant believing they did not have the funds for that while she was focused on getting her boutique off the ground while juggling event planning and managing her nonprofit Maka felt pulled in multiple directions striving to earn enough to support her husband and pay the bills she acknowledged that unlike in the past when men were the sole Breadwinners women today are stepping up and hustling to contribute mcka emphasized that she and her husband have embraced a partnership where they meet each other halfway unfortunately in 2012 maka's party design business along with her nonprofit organization aimed at providing support services to the local community faced failure she decided not to be defeated by setback so in 2013 she went on to establish the prime Enterprise Group a consulting firm dedicated to assisting entrepreneurial clients with business planning coaching mentorship and educational webinars she frequently organized online Live Events where she shared her journey and provided valuable insights for those ready to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams so today um I want to talk really quickly about business planning and the importance of business planning she would always tell people not to give up on their dreams and add that they should remember why they became entrepreneurs or business owners in the first place and make it a great day her Newfound success was enjoyed by everyone around her especially her husband and kids from the outside and just like most marriages mcka and Yuri seemed like a great pair together they formed a nice small family they had two children aged 7even and one mcka Harold Jenkins was a mother who loved her children so much she worked hard to provide for them she had her first child of 13-year-old from when she was with another man before she met Yuri but he treated her like his own daughter Yuri and Maka loved and supported each other through thick and thin but mcka was the bread winner Yuri always supported however he could and she didn't complain of the financial burden because she was doing quite well that was until was murdered on the 29th of June 2017 after a long day 2 hours before going to bed she shared a post on Facebook about her struggles and how she never allowed her setbacks to Define her defeat mcka would go to bed leaving her husband and younger brother marquavius awake barely into the morning as at 2: a. m.
