hey y'all it's betsy and today we have a fun video we are going to be dye supplementing one of the skinny tumblers from condi now if you're not familiar with who condi is they are a dye sublimation company i buy lots of dye sublimation blanks from them and i will take and link them in the description now that part is not affiliated it's just who i use now and as far as graphics goes for our skinny tumbler we are going to be using some files from creative fabrica now if you've never heard of creative fabrica
they have a ton of different files that you can download on their website and they have a couple of different options as far as subscriptions go or you can buy them individually i will have it linked down in the description box now that link will be an affiliate link so if you sign up for it i do earn a small commission but y'all should know i definitely definitely don't like to promote things unless i know what i'm getting into now before we jump over and show how to do this i did want to let you

cannot use the files commercially how it works what changes and things like that you can make which i definitely think is important so like i'll show you this is the subscription license portion if it wants to sit there and go but see it tells you everything that is involved what you are allowed and allowed not to do um so it's pretty cool so it definitely makes it easy so we're gonna go look um because i wanted to see they have a ton of pre-made designs for the 20-ounce skinny tumbler so i wanted to kind of
look and see if there's anything that appealed to me that i wanted to turn in to a tumbler so let's take a look and see there's so many cute designs too on here that you can take and choose to use i mean as you can see there's like i don't even know how many different designs there are i mean you can kind of see what we're talking about let's take a look at this one because i think that one's kind of cool i wonder if they have a butterfly tumbler let's look up there we go
see they do have options for butterfly tumblers that makes me excited now which one do i like should i do like a whole butterfly wrap or should i do something else that one's kind of cool let's take a look at you and see if you click on other ones that will kind of show you what you are looking at so i like you but i think i want something a little bit different i want something maybe a little bit grungier and it's as you can see it's just kind of going through and seeing what they
have that's a hummingbird i mean you can see just by looking up butterfly tumbler how many different designs are on here i mean and there are cuttable files as well as full printable files the amount of fonts and then you know what you have you can always show your customer let's see what they have on skull skinny tumbler all right because i've really been into that kind of thing right now oh let's see what this is summer skull and flowers that might be kind of cool yeah i like it but i don't love the cow
skull or the bull skull however you would consider that but i mean you can see there's so so many different designs and trust me this is not me trying to sell it you want it you'll either purchase it or you won't i love things like this because it saves me time on designing because you know if you're not an illustrator you know doing designs like this can be very difficult i think that one's kind of cool let's download that okay now what i'm going to go over here is i'm going to go to my finder
folder and i want to go to my downloads and as you can see we've got the 20 ounce halloween floral skull okay we've got the straight one let's go ahead and open her up perfect now if i want to print this to sawgrass i have to go up to the top of my and go to file print we're going to go to open in preview because i have a mac machine it's a little bit different to do this okay now let me remember what else i need to do then i'm going to click file print
okay hold on oh did the wrong thing let's see hold on print oh hold on that's what i needed to do sawgrass print manager let's see if it wants to come up perfect okay so there's our design sometimes things don't always want to work so we got it on white metal paper i'm using koala brand but we'll just use true picks layout we want to make sure it's mirrored jobs okay it's at the correct pixels the size is all correct so now i'm going to send it to print okay if you'll give me a moment
to change the camera angle i will show you how to apply this to our so you can see i have my heat press sitting here and you can't see the temperature gauge but it is set on 375 degrees we're gonna heat this for twice at two minutes one on the top side one on the bottom side so here's my design now i should take and trim down the edges now one thing i'm gonna do is i'm gonna take this is just like some this is made for screen printing but you could use really any adhesive
mist i'm going to spray this off camera but so you can kind of see what i'm doing is i'm just saturating this so it makes a little bit easier to stick the tumbler on to stick the design onto the tumbler i guess is the best way to put it okay so now i want there to be a tiny bit of overlap on the top and the bottom okay so now that's on there and wrapping it that way does make it a whole lot easier i'm walking over and grabbing some of my teflon tape and making
sure to tape over those seamed edges okay there we go make sure it kind of wraps around because i don't want this to move at all okay so now that that's on i'm going to insert my tumbler into my mug press there we go okay so we're going to let this heat for two minutes we'll speed this part up and then we'll flip it over so we can heat it for another two minutes okey dokey so we've got the first part set so i have a towel so i can grab the hot part of the
mug okay now we're going to flip it over and do the same thing again for two more minutes oh so oh [Music] okie dokie so we're back and we're gonna remove that from the mug press now this thing is not as hot up here at the top but it is pretty hot down here at the bottom because again we just took it out of the heat press so i'm gonna try to grab from the inside my tape there we go and remove the tape all the way down the mug or the tumbler now while this
is kind of cooling before i remove everything i did want to remind you that the weekly wow sell for this week is 20 off your entire purchase now that sale does end on october the 3rd of 2021 um so it's a great deal at 12 a.m central standard time so let's remove the paper and anywhere the paper's stuck you don't really have to worry about because we will be washing that off but look how good this looks i think it looks absolutely amazing and it's colored all the way through and the way that dye sublimation
