oky doie you are now in the speaking section of PT academic the whole speaking section will take about 30 minutes the first task is called read aloud and it looks like this so if you look below the timer there you'll see a paragraph of text your job is to read that paragraph aloud as clearly and as naturally as you possibly can okay you'll have between 30 and 40 seconds to prepare to read aloud and then when the microphone opens you'll read it again while it records you this task is pretty straightforward right you just have

to read a paragraph of text aloud but there's a certain way that you need to read it in order to maximize your scores also just bear in mind that this task contributes points not just to your speaking score but also to your reading score as well so it is pretty important okay you have a go for yourself and then I'm going to meet you in the classroom and I'll give you an example of how I do it
