CALIFORNIA'S BEST BEACH - Laguna Beach

[Music] so today is my last full day here in Los Angeles and I woke up and we just found myself I needed an adventure I really don't have any plans for today I've been spending most of my time in Los Angeles and going to Venice Beach Santa Monica and the beaches over here but I have this rental car I said screw it why don't I Drive down south and just have an adventure not really know what I'm gonna do so I'm just gonna drive down south go along the Pacific Coast Highway and see what this

day goes it's a beautiful day it's like 75 degrees so I want to take full advantage of it so next stop I have no idea but somewhere south of here let's go [Music] oh hey what's up guys we just made it to the Kuna Beach I drove for about 100 miles and has an exit for Laguna Beach always wanted to go so I figured why not now and driving in it was so beautiful so many cliffs so many mountains that you drive through and so many Hills like right now I'm just bombing down this crazy

street heading to the beach super fun to explore Laguna and not get hit by cars so you guys remember that show on MTV called Laguna Beach well I do I mean I've never seen it but from what I know about it it was an MTV show based around people that lives here in this beautiful city of Laguna Beach and if I would have known that it was this beautiful I apply want to watch because this place is just truly paradise I just cruised on over to the beach decided to take a take a quick dip

sorry it's all my people back in New York where it's 30 degrees in freezing I'm jumping in the ocean 70 degrees today it is still the beginning of March so the water is probably freezing so we gotta yolo it oh oh it's freezing I gotta commit I gotta commit all right [Music] I believe how clear the water is I've never been anywhere in America where you can actually see your feet usually the water and the East Coast where I live it's gray and you can't see one inch but here it actually see fish and your

toes very salty though so all these seagulls just still a cookie from these girls I would have made a move if they didn't already go to town on it help them out yeah there you got it sorry about your cookie shy go try and make friends with those girls my strategy when approaching strangers is always to seem as least as a creep as possible do one of you mind taking a photo of me no I didn't really want a photo what are your names Kaylee Kaylee I'm Brett hi Brett nice to meet ya nice to

meet ya right nice to meet you are you guys from here oh no way I'm from New York oh yeah do you mind if I hang out do you mind if I thank you in my video quick awesome so I just met Kaylee and Mia who are from Boston thank you guys for being so outgoing and friendly I literally just came up to them like hey can I sit with you guys and they were super down then we've been hanging out for the past half-hour and we might meet up later you guys are going to

get a drink absolutely all right I'm gonna go explore Laguna for a little bit and then I want to meet up with you guys a little bit yeah I'll send you guys a message later okay bye guys well that couldn't Owen any better my technique I asked people for a small favor something like taking a photo and then that breaks the ice and they don't think you're a creep and then from there you can go in start a conversation as to sit with them and it's a great way to meet new friends so Mia and

Kaylee you guys are awesome thank you for letting me hang out with you guys for like that past hour really cool girls and now I just kept walking along the beach made it to this interesting Cove looks like a great location to send up the drone [Music] [Music] as you can tell the city is very beautiful which means it's very expensive like I just got this tiny little sandwich a normal cup of coffee from this French cafe and it's $15 better be good it's not bad but for 15 bucks and nobody got money for that

but when you are traveling as the price you got to pay because your own and a camera is almost fully dead so here in the recharge station it is funny when you're traveling that coffee shops are pretty much your recharge station like even though this was about 6 bucks it was totally worth it because I was getting a little tired being in a place to just rest for a second so now after my $6 cup of coffee feeling great and the Sun is setting and it looks beautiful that sunset looks awesome I'm making movies whoa

from New York yeah yeah big city the big city are you from southern Massachusetts 38 years ago where you're just visiting yeah get up to the fake carrots what's your name Michael Michael you're the man I'm Bret take care guys awesome he's just there dancing the plastic can you could have fun and make enjoyment out of the littlest things just like dancing on a Canada a big shout out to Michael it's like you wait all day for the Sun to set so you have that golden hour to get the awesome videos and photos that you

want for that great lighting but then the Sun sets so fast and you miss it and I'm currently now running back towards the Laguna Canyon where I was before just because I want to do this drone boomerang a lot of my New York City creative friends like Craig Adams does a great job with this where he does a boomerang with his drone and it looks so sick and I've never done it before never tried it so I figured this would be the perfect place to do so okay so I am gonna be filming this for

Instagram so I'm gonna be filming it in portrait mode which is amazing with the DJI Matic that you can film in that portrait mode since I don't think the Phantom or the other drones can do that and the secret to getting the cool like up and away shot is you just go like this it was a little tough to show you guys how I did it exactly so this is all I did the up control layer going up and then this makes it go backwards and if you do those simultaneously it does that cool up

and away shot for your drone enthusiasts give it a try and there goes the Suns it's been a good day son see you tomorrow oh I just spent the past three hours inside this Starbucks not just because I needed to do a lot of editing which I did but also just because la traffic is horrible and I have about a hundred miles back to LA so I just wanted to wait out until 8:00 p.m. so now hope for the traffic isn't as bad a little bit of an issue remember when I got here and how

I was bobbing down the hill from my car where I parked to the beach well I didn't pay close attention to where I parked and I actually have no idea where the car is doing some exploring right now aka looking for the car Oh Laguna Beach it's getting chilly out this is the five minute later update still no sign of the car but good signs of the gonna be she had to see a different part of the town while while looking for the wind not giving up I can't give up 20 minutes later found the

car Old Faithful hot rod right here I've never been so happy since I don't drive so this rarely ever happens I didn't have much of a plan when I drove down here to Laguna Beach I just woke up I was like I need an adventure and today definitely satisfied that need it was such an awesome time meeting those girls going to the beach and just exploring the city of Laguna after I was gonna come to Laguna Beach House planning on maybe going to San Diego and just keep driving down the south but now it's a

little too late and by the time I get there just wouldn't be worth it so I think right now can I head back to Los Angeles and enjoy my last day of tomorrow in Los Angeles so next stop Los Angeles California not exactly sure I know what happened to the footage from when I ended this vlog in California but I'm back home at the apartment in New York City ends before I end this video I just wanted to say how this is gonna be my last video of my California vlog series since the next one
