let's talk about motivation some days you feel like it and some days you don't so guys that's what motivation is it's feeling like doing something but you won't get anywhere in life if you only do what needs to be done when you feel like it you're working off emotion so instead of trying to find ways to stay motivated try and find ways to build a great work ethic cuz that's how you get places and on that note let's start this vlog [Music] hey guys so I woke up pretty late this morning by late I mean
9:00 um usually I wake up at 7:00 and go do my workout and then get about the rest of my day I like to work out in the morning because I don't know I just feel as though when there's something that you're passionate about whether it be making music um reading or going to the gym whatever it is um we all have our sort of therapy and I like to do that first thing in the morning get it out of the way otherwise I just I'm looking forward to Too Much the rest of the day
and it's hard to stay focused but today I woke up at 9:00 um decid I'll go to the gym in the afternoon with a friend so uh let me give you guys a little bit of advice if you guys don't some of you guys are probably trying to lose a bit of weight and one thing that that I did I mean I was never even chubby I've always been skinny um back in the past uh but one thing that I tried and it worked very very well was intermitted fasting um obviously I'm not back on
it right now because on a bulk it's not that beneficial I mean I'm just on like a constant bulk now because just trying to get bigger I don't at a young age you really don't need to be cutting unless you're you know over like 13 14 15% body fat but one tip guys um the main reason I I I have an I in this morning and the reason why is because I have some work that I really want to get done uh because I'm going to the gym later in the afternoon eating does make you
tired and eating will lessen your mental capacity it's your body actually uses up 6 to 10% of its daily caloric expenditure um that goes towards the breakdown and digestion of food it's called the thermic response I think um or thermogenic response something like that but point is if you eat it will make you tired um that's why I skipped breakfast and uh just drinking a lot of water and also let's try and bring bring this up without coffee um just straight black coffee nothing in it uh and that'll keep me in a fasted State and
in a fasted State you're just honestly so much more alert um you have way more motivation to do things uh cuz when you eat you know you're just you just feel a bit sluggish a bit tired so um even if you're trying to get bigger um if you're not trying to cut down one day just give it a shot because Inter minute fasting is actually really great or if you don't want to do intermittent fasting completely just try pushing back your lunch or pushing forward your uh breakfast uh 2 3 hours so you have 2
3 hours in the morning where you're very very focused and alert [Music] guys I've said this a few times before but honestly the weather in London is just so weird it was pouring 3 days ago Amazing 2 days ago pouring yesterday and then once again today it's amazing does anyone else get weather like this if you do like let me know below I mean one sec just look at this guys it's amazing right and then it just changes like that so weird all right guys so we're in the gym today should be an active rest
day which means like I'm resting up I'm getting a little bit like light to moderate exercise um obviously I have to cuz I have squat every day and pull-ups every day my problem isn't so much with like ego lifting with ego lifting or like um you know not lifting the weight properly like I've learned my leverages and I know how to do everything properly the main problem is [Music] okay take two all right guys just got to shouted out by a lovely lady um anyways I'm in the gym today I have squat every day um
I'm going for a low bar PR so yeah let's see what I get [Music] n [Music] [Music] [Applause] hour all right guys so got my 140 um I'm not so much happy that like physically I was able to do it it's more mentally because that really threw me off um just that woman because afterwards she went and you know complained and whatnot like about videoing um so yeah that really threw me off but I was still able to get the 140 very happy um so now alol 80% and go for a 3X3 then do the
pull-ups I have to do for today and then get out of here by the way remember what I told you about London weather being was so weird look look outside [Music] [Music] honestly guys what is up this weather [Music] cinnamon cereal yes don't be an idiot like me I keep most of my stuff at my gym so my tripod my DSLR my powerlifting shoes my my knee sleeves my belt chalk Etc I just keep that in my in a locker at my gym just keep it there so today I forgot my key like I basically
uh put the lock in and my key was inside luckily I have a spare key which I keep at home long story short my wonderful mother had to come to the gym and give me the spare key so what I'm doing now is I'm putting the key on Theo Shaker because that's whenever I work out I always have a water bottle and an Amoro Shaker well the mor Shaker as my water bottle cuz well first of all if you're not drinking like at least 500 M to liter of water during your workout you're doing something
wrong um to me in my opinion that's why most people fatigue so quickly or they can't deal with longer workouts drink more water so yeah I'll show you guys my setup so guys this is my key here's my water bottle today won't happen again
