Some of the biggest investment funds are freezing withdrawals right now. But the question is, should investors be worried? Well, they should be worried.
Like, this is a I mean, this is not Silicon Valley Bank, but uh if you think about what happened to Silicon Valley Bank, that that was a bunch of withdrawals. They didn't have the cash. So, this is a this is a this is a a way to control liquidity because let let's just be clear, redemptions force liquidity.
So that's what that's what it does. And the problem with that, of course, is this isn't necessarily a bad thing. Uh unless you're an investor, of course, but um these these these these funds are in assets that aren't liquid, right?
And so this is the liquidity problem. Yeah. So let's discuss that because I think that gets overlooked.
