There were only supposed to be 12 Zodiac Saints, each one chosen by the gods. But one day, a 13th Zodiac Saint appeared. This 13th Zodiac Saint was the strongest among them. But when the time finally came for the 13 saints to face the final boss, they stabbed him in the back, leaving him to die in a trap they set up. Now that he was gone, they stole everything from him. From his divine artifacts to even the will he left for The orphanage. While they were living their best lives, knowing that nobody could defeat them, he
made it out by defeating the impossible boss. And after 20 years, he was finally back outside in the world. But before he gets his revenge, we have to go back to the beginning. When monsters suddenly appeared on Earth, a disaster suddenly falls upon the world, pushing humanity right to the edge of extinction. These unknown creatures that appeared out of Nowhere become known as calamities. Humanity throws everything they have at them, even nuclear weapons. But to these monsters, that might as well be a scratch. Entire cities are destroyed while humans can do absolutely nothing but watch.
Just when all hope seems lost, a certain group of people finally appears. the 13 zodiacs. Humanity calls the 12 people blessed by the so-called divine gods the saints. But there is one more person among them, a 13th human who Awakened without receiving the blessing of any divine god. And of course, that person is our boy Lie Jan. To defeat one of the strongest calamities, the Crimson Eye. Lie Jan and the other Zodiacs enter the demon tower where the monster is hiding. But sometime later, reporters notice something strange. Only 12 of the 13 Zodiacs came back.
So naturally, everyone has one question. What the hell happened to Lie Gian? With tears in his eyes, one of the saints announces that Lie Jian sacrificed himself for humanity. Yeah, complete nonsense because this is what actually happened. When things got dangerous inside the tower, those bastards ran off and left our boy alone against the Crimson Eye. Somehow, Lee Gion still manages to defeat that monster by himself and barely survives. But before he can even catch his breath, someone stabs him in the back. Literally, our boy falls through a hole and that's when he Realizes one
of the Zodiacs has betrayed him and thrown him into a place that should be impossible to escape. And waiting below are millions of calamities. But if those traitors expected Lie Gian to lie down and accept his fate, they clearly forgot who they were dealing with. Looking like Zoro, our boy even puts a sword in his mouth and throws himself straight at the endless swarm of monsters. At this point, there is only one thing keeping This man alive. He needs to find the bastards who betrayed him. How much time has passed? What's happening outside? Does time
even flow the same way inside this tower? Lie has no answers. All he knows is that he has to keep fighting because this cursed place is basically a trap that summons an infinite number of calamities. But our boy refuses to die. His hatred for those traitors is simply way too strong. And somehow 20 whole years pass. After two decades of Non-stop fighting, there's finally only one calamity left. Lieon takes it down. And just like that, after 20 years, he can finally escape this cursed place. The only problem is that our boy is completely exhausted. And
right as freedom is within reach, his body finally gives out. We now cut back to the present where a couple of dudes are desperately running from several high-rank calamities. These guys already know they're cooked. One of them even Says that if Lie Gian had survived the Demon Tower 20 years ago, monsters like these would probably be nothing to him. And right on Q, the gates of the Demon Tower suddenly open. A blinding light erupts from inside, followed by a massive crash. The two men stare in disbelief. Wait a second. Is that a human standing there?
Of course it is. It's our boy. Lieon cracks his knuckles. And after 20 years of being trapped in that hell hole, this man is itching to Find the traitor bastards who left him there. But first, he has some warm-up mobs to deal with. Moments later, Liian is clearing these high-rank calamities, like they're random insects. The two men are speechless. Monsters that were about to end their lives are getting swatted around like bugs. Then, Liian suddenly disappears from their sight and destroys their hideout, but right behind him appears an enormous wolf. The two dudes instantly panic.
That's not some random Monster. That's the boss. The giant wolf gathers energy inside its mouth before firing a massive blast directly at them. The entire surrounding area is destroyed by the attack. Well, almost the entire area because the ground around Ligion hasn't moved an inch. Before the wolf can even understand what happened, our boy launches himself into the air and smashes it straight into the ground with one punch. Afterwards, Lieon turns toward the two men and tells them to go. They're confused. Go where? Our boy gives them a smile. Go buy him some food and
clothes. A little while later, these two look more defeated than they did against the calamities. Why? Because this mysterious bastard just ate what looks like an entire bank account worth of food in a few minutes. While eating, Lie asks the younger guy what exactly he is. He can sense some kind of magic power coming from him. The older man looks confused. Isn't it obvious? The Kid is a disciple. He then asks whether Liian is also a disciple who awakened through the blessing of a god. Our boy immediately tells him absolutely not. Why the hell would
he serve those shitty gods, but right as he says this, Liian catches his reflection in his spoon and freezes. He instantly jumps up and asks where the nearest mirror is. After finding one, our boy takes off his shirt and can't believe what he's seeing. His entire body has recovered. The last time He remembers seeing himself, his body was completely wrecked from 20 years of fighting. Even his missing left arm is back. But while examining his hand, Lie Jian notices something else, a strange mark. Suddenly, the mark glows in the shape of a snake and a
wave of pain shoots through his body. Then, notifications begin appearing in front of him. They explain that he has experienced death. His existing abilities will be transferred into a new Body. All achievements earned inside the demon tower will be converted into experience. Zodiac skills have been generated. His previous unique skills and traits will also be transferred and evolved. And finally, Lie Jian is informed that he can now use the power of O ofus. Before our boy can even process what any of this means, he's suddenly transported into some unknown space. Standing directly in front of
him is a gigantic snake. Lie Jian slowly Reaches toward its face. A bright light flashes and just like that, he's back in reality. What the hell just happened? The younger man asks if he's okay and Li Jian immediately asks whether they saw that gigantic snake. They stare at him like he's insane. According to them, this dude randomly took off his clothes, sprinted toward a mirror, grabbed his wrist, and started screaming. That's it. Hearing this, Lieon realizes other people probably can't see what's Happening to him. Then another mountain of notifications appears. One of them reads, "Super
regeneration, so that's why his body is completely restored." Still, something doesn't add up. Ligion doesn't remember the other Zodiacs ever seeing weird pop-ups like these. Not only that, he can't sense the presence of any divine god connected to his power. But honestly, our boy doesn't really care right now. He's alive, and that means those traitor bastards are About to have a very bad day. Meanwhile, news of the demon tower collapsing starts spreading across the world. Reporters immediately surround one of the saints, asking what he thinks about the tower's destruction and whether there's any possibility that
Lie Jian survived. This man is Yang Wei, the Aries Saint. Weey tells the reporters he has nothing to say, and walks away. But the second he's somewhere private, this dude crushes his glasses in anger. How Many more times does he have to hear that bastard's name? Lie Gayon surviving inside the demon tower for 20 years. That's ridiculous. There were tens of thousands of demonic beasts in there, including black rank monsters. Nobody could survive that, especially Lie Gian, who didn't even receive a blessing from the divine gods like the rest of them. Still, one thought makes
Weii nervous. If that bastard somehow really survived, everything could be over. Meanwhile, our Boy sees Yang Wei on the news and already makes his decision. This bastard is first. The scene then shifts to an airport where a group of guards are excited about meeting another one of the 12 saints. This man is Hugo Otter, the Sagittarius saint. The guards inform Hugo that the prime minister is waiting at his residence and that they've already prepared transportation. As they escort him away, these dudes are amazed by Hugo's presence. Now they understand Why everyone calls him the chosen
one. Moments later, Hugo gets another phone call. He assumes it's reporters bothering him about those ridiculous rumors of Lie Gian being alive. Frustrated, he puts the phone away. It's already been 20 years. We then flash back to the demon tower raid. While Lieon entered the tower, Hugo stayed outside dealing with the calamities exactly like Gian asked him to. The entire time Hugo prayed that his Prophecy was wrong and that his friend would return safely. But instead, the other saints eventually emerged, carrying only the head of the Crimson Eye. Lie was nowhere to be found. The
Saints were praised as heroes for defeating the monster. And with that achievement came enormous power and authority. But Hugo never believed Liian was actually dead. He repeatedly asked the others to search for him. Every single time, his requests were refused. One of the saints even told Hugo that believing Lie Gian was still alive was ridiculous. If he was that worried, he could go search for Lie Jian himself. Back in the present, even Hugo has started accepting the truth. 20 years have passed. There's no way Lie Gian is still alive. And that hurts because to Hugo,
Gian wasn't just another saint. He was basically a brother. Right then, one of the guards informs Hugo that the prime minister is calling. The moment Hugo answers, the prime minister asks if he's heard about the Demon Tower collapsing. Hugo size, seriously, even the prime minister is talking about this. Now, Hugo immediately says that if he's calling to ask him to search for Lie Jian, the answer is no. The Demon Tower incident was probably caused by some of Gian's followers. But that's not what the prime minister wanted to say. According to information from the Korean government,
Lie Jian's exclusive phone Line received a call. Hugo's entire expression changes. He demands that the driver stop the car. Then something clicks in his head. What if all those calls he's been ignoring were actually from Gian? Hugo checks his phone and notices a voicemail. He cautiously plays it. The voice says he's going to find Hugo and deal with him. Hugo instantly recognizes that voice. No way. Could it actually be Gian? Without wasting another second, Hugo orders the driver To turn around and heads straight back to the airport. Meanwhile, our boy is sitting inside a restaurant,
annoyed that Tyu keeps ignoring his calls. On the bright side, Lie Jian has discovered something incredible after being isolated for 20 years. Smartphones. This thing is amazing. The younger man explains that he can use it to access the internet, read articles, and watch the news. Lie immediately asks the important question. Can he search Articles about Lie Jian? The young man pulls up Google, and our boy does not like what he sees. Most of the comments are straight up hate comments. Lie Jian slowly begins crushing the poor guy's phone. How dare these idiots say the 12
saints defeated the Crimson Eye. Those bastards got scared and ran away. Our boy manages to calm himself down for about 5 seconds because then he notices an article discussing the will Lee Jian supposedly left behind. Now our boy Clearly remembers his will. If he died, everything he owned was supposed to be donated to orphanages and scholarship foundations. So why the hell does this article say Lie Jian left all his possessions to the 12 saints and there goes the phone completely destroyed. Still, Lie realizes he has another problem. He wants to announce his return to the
world, but he looks completely different from 20 years ago. If some random handsome dude suddenly starts Screaming that he's Lie Jian, people will probably assume he's crazy. So, our boy decides to stay quiet for now. Instead, he'll handle those bastard saints one by one. Moments later, Liian suddenly receives a warning. Someone is watching him. He immediately senses the presence and steps outside. Floating nearby are strange goat-like spirits. Lie recognizes them as household gods and wonders whether they're Yangwe's underlings. Household gods are basically Godly entities controlled directly by the divine gods. Notifications suddenly appear, informing Lieon
that these household gods are creating a barrier and demanding a tribute that immediately pisses him off. These things are nothing but servants of the divine gods. Yet, they're walking around acting like they own the entire area. Before our boy can do anything, he overhars a couple nearby complaining that Liian's name is all anybody talks about nowadays. Basically, These two are professional Liian haters. The younger man recognizes their clothing. They're members of the Gemini Divine Cadre. The pair eventually comes face tof face with our boy. The younger man immediately tells Lieon to come back inside. Picking
a fight with these people is a terrible idea. Meanwhile, the Gemini dude tells Ligon to screw off. He even blows cigarette smoke directly into our boy's face and tells him to do something if he's angry. The Woman laughs and says they should leave the poor guy alone because he looks like he's about to piss himself. As they walk away, they add that losers like him are exactly the kind of people who worship Lie Jian. Somehow, our boy controls his anger. For a few seconds, he asks why people love these weak saints so much. The younger
man congratulates Lieon for controlling himself and explains that those two are Gemini members above a rank. Right then, Lieon turns around and Calls them roaches. The pair stops. Are you talking to us? Of course he is. Are they dumb? The man walks right into Liian's face and tells him to say it again, so our boy flicks him with one finger. The dude goes flying straight into the woman. Lieon then calls out to her, asking if she seriously thought he wouldn't notice what she was doing behind his back. Another flick. Bam. The two men traveling with
Liian panic and tell him he shouldn't use abilities in The middle of the street. Our boy calmly explains that he didn't use any ability because if he did, those two wouldn't be getting back up. While looking at the Gemini guy, Liian notices a necklace and snatches it. Now things make sense. He knew punching that bastard felt weird. This necklace is a divine artifact, but that creates another question. Why does a random guy have one? Back in Lion's day, divine artifacts were something only saints carried. The men are shocked That Lie Jian knows absolutely nothing about
modern society. So, they explain what changed during the 20 years he disappeared. After humanity was nearly wiped out by the calamities, they survived thanks to the divine gods and the saints they selected. But 12 people obviously can't protect an entire planet. So, the saints gathered followers and created divine cadres. People who receive power through the saints are called disciples and these Disciples are ranked based on strength. At the top are the saints chosen by the gods. Below them are the 10 stars who are basically candidates capable of becoming saints. Then there are divine cadre captains,
powerful disciples who command everyone below them. And finally, normal disciples. The power of a divine god also comes from the faith of their disciples, which is why the divine cadres constantly compete for followers. Selected disciples can even Receive gifts and divine artifacts from their gods. Lie Gian can't believe humanity built this entire system while he was trapped inside the tower. Right then, the older man points towards something. The household gods are sending Lie Jian another notification. They're ordering him to finish off the Gemini man and woman. In exchange, they'll give him a useful gift. The
older man immediately panics. Household gods are basically direct shadows of the Divine gods themselves. Opposing one is like opposing the god controlling it. He desperately tells Lie Gon to do whatever they're asking, but our boy has had enough. Seeing Yangwe's underlings walk around like they own the place, reminds him that bastard clearly hasn't changed one bit. Lie Jian lifts his foot, then stomps. A massive shock wave erupts across the area and every household god instantly disappears. The two men stare at him in disbelief. How the hell did This random dude just scare away the household
gods of Aries? This man is definitely not normal. Lie Jian then calls over the younger guy whose name is Jimn. He points at the unconscious Gemini dude and asks whether he really belongs to the Gemini divine cadre. Jimn confirms it. In fact, Gemini has the most influence in this entire country. Lie Jian pauses. So basically, they're rich. Jimn says yes. Our boy looks at the expensive clothes on the unconscious Dude. A terrible idea immediately enters his head. Before long, Jimn and the older man finally make it home safely. They thank Lie Jian for bringing them
back and tell him he can leave now. But our boy has a different question. Can he come inside? He's sleepy. A little while later, Lie Jian even gets himself a fresh haircut. Bro finally looks like a proper mana MC again. But right then, our boy notices something strange inside Jimn's house. A calamity. Li Jian Crushes it and asks why the hell there's a monster inside his house. Then another one appears and another. Jimn assumes so many calamities might be appearing because Lijian is giving off some kind of scent they like. Our boy immediately says that's
nonsense. When this many monsters are gathering in one place, it normally means something inside the house is attracting them. Lie looks around then notices all the artifacts Jimn has lying around. There's the Problem. These things are evil. Jimn immediately objects. He received these items directly from Gemini. They technically don't belong to him, but every single one was blessed by the Gemini Saint. Lie Jian destroys one without hesitation. He tells Jimn to listen carefully. This mask, it's a divine artifact that monitors the person who buys it. That musical box, it's stealing personal information. Our boy's anger
instantly shoots through the roof. Those bastards didn't just steal his money and belongings. Now they're selling shady divine artifacts to civilians and making money from it, too. Lie Gian starts crashing out, but right then, somebody opens the door. Our boy turns around and asks who the hell this dude is. The guy stares back. Him? He's the owner of the house. Well, this is awkward. We then cut to Yang Wei's residence. Weey can't believe what his guard is telling him. The household gods Stationed in Korea disappeared. The guard confirms it. The entire Korean branch is panicking.
Weey can't understand who would be insane enough to do something like that. Household gods are direct subordinates of divine gods. No awakened human would dare chase them away. He immediately orders his guard to contact the other saints and find out whether any of them know what's happening. The guard agrees, but mentions that Sagittarius is still Impossible to contact as usual. Weey tells him to forget Hugo. He's probably somewhere in England anyway, except he isn't. The guard explains that Hugo left England almost immediately after arriving and his destination was Korea. That gets Wei thinking, "Everybody knows
Hugo was Lie Gon's closest friend. So why would Hugo suddenly rush to Korea right after rumors start spreading about Lie Gian's survival? Did that bastard actually come back?" Weii angrily throws Something across the room. Impossible. He orders his men to properly investigate the possibility that Lie Jian survived and asks for updates on everything else happening in Korea. The guard nervously provides one more piece of information. At the exact location where the household gods disappeared, a Gemini disciple was found unconscious. And this poor bastard was lying in the street wearing nothing but his underwear. According to
witnesses, the Culprit was also an extremely handsome man. Weey pauses. Handsome. Never mind. Definitely not Lee Gizison. Still, this entire situation is terrible. Rumors are spreading that Lie Gizison returned. The Aries household gods mysteriously disappeared. And to make matters worse, they already failed to subjugate the spider queen. If this continues, Weii's position could actually be threatened. He orders his men to prepare a private jet. Looks like he'll have to go to Korea and see what's happening himself. Moments later, we're inside a Gemini affiliated hospital in Korea. Lying on one of the beds is the fat
dude Lie Jian knocked out earlier. His grandfather is furious and demands to know who did this to his grandson. A doctor tells the chairman not to worry. Gemini has already sent someone to handle the situation. This man is Minung Hun, an S-rank Gemini disciple. Meanwhile, back at the house, the actual owner is Furious. Jimn is trying to explain that Lee Gon literally appeared from the demon tower, defeated high rank calamities, and even destroyed an A-rank disciple. Yeah, right. As far as the homeowner is concerned, this random dude broke into his house and started stealing artifacts.
Then he asks the stranger's name, Lee Gian. Now, this dude completely loses it. So, this bastard trespasses inside his house, breaks his divine artifacts, and has the Audacity to introduce himself as Lee Gian. How dare he impersonate humanity's greatest hero. Jimn desperately tells Sunj to calm down, but our boy suddenly receives a notification. The mana coming from this Gemini disciple is rapidly increasing. Lie Jian activates a new ability, Gaze of a God. He immediately sees Sunj's information. A rank, one S-rank skill, one A rank skill, and four traits. Our boy has to admit it. For
someone this young, the kid is pretty Impressive. Jimn tells Lieon he should probably run. Sunj isn't just an A-rank Gemini disciple. He's also a massive Liion fan. But before Sunj can even launch his attack, our boy appears behind him and flicks him across the entire house. Lie calls him crazy. Was this idiot seriously about to burn the whole building down? Jimn nervously asks whether Sanjay is dead. Lieon tells him not to worry. He's fine. Although looking at him, he does not look fine. Our boy announces that he's going to sleep, but the moment he enters
Sunj's room, he freezes. There are li figures everywhere. Our boy slowly turns toward Jimn. What the hell are those? Sunj instantly tells him not to touch them. So naturally, Liian grabs one and rips its head off. Then he announces that he's destroying every single one. Bro is devastated. Meanwhile, inside a coffee shop, Hugo watches the news about two Gemini disciples getting humiliated by a Mysterious man. He sigh. That's definitely Gian. What the hell is that bastard doing already? A waiter suddenly approaches Hugo and asks whether he'd like to order, but Hugo sees right through the
disguise. He tells Yang Wei to stop messing around and show himself. The waiter smiles. It's been a while. Weii mentions that Hugo has been difficult to contact and assumes he's in Korea because of the rumors surrounding Lieon. So if Hugo knows something, it Would probably be smart to share. Hugo snaps his fingers. The waiter looks confused about what just happened. Hugo curses under his breath. Forget way. He needs to find Lie Jian before that man causes another disaster. We now cut to a supermarket where Jimn asks Sunj whether he seriously thinks the stranger is Lie
Jian. Sunj instantly gets angry. Lie Jian is the hero who saved humanity, not some psychotic thug who breaks into people's houses. But Jimn keeps Insisting he personally watched that man come out of the demon tower, and his strength is ridiculous. Sunj still refuses to believe it. Besides, his father told him Lie was dead, and Sunj's father happens to be Sagittarius. Right then, somebody screams that there's a thief. A man races past them toward the exit. Judging from his speed, Jimn assumes he's a Scorpio disciple. This idiot is literally using supernatural abilities to shoplift. At this
rate, Every wallet and valuable item inside the store will disappear. The thief celebrates to himself. He's already collected enough money. Time to hit the next place or not because something smashes into his face before he can escape. Another man nearby admits that was impressive. Scorpio disciples are ridiculously difficult to catch because of their speed. Judging by the thief's energy, however, he's only a regular disciple. Still, next time they should Probably call the police. Lie Jian stares at this weird bald dude, wondering what his problem is. Then the entire supermarket begins shaking. People panic, thinking it's
an earthquake. The thief, meanwhile, believes God just handed him a second chance. He only got caught because of some strange bastard. But with everybody distracted by the earthquake, he can finally escape, except the floor directly in front of him suddenly breaks Apart. A gigantic centipede-like calamity rises from below. The thief can't believe a monster appeared inside a green zone. Still, he thinks he can outrun it. He cannot. An emergency announcement immediately echoes throughout the supermarket. A calamity has appeared inside the building. All ordinary civilians must evacuate immediately. And with the appearance of the spider queen,
the danger level of the supermarket has officially risen to Red. Nearby, a child is about to get attacked by one of the monsters. But in a flash, Lie Jian destroys it. Our boy tells the kid to watch where he's going and asks whether he's all right. The child takes one look at Lie Jian and runs away. Looks like our boy is scarier than the actual monster. It's been a while since he's gotten proper exercise. Might as well warm up. At the same time, Yang Wei receives a report that a calamity outbreak has occurred at a
Nearby supermarket. Then he hears the name Spider Queen. Weii's expression immediately changes. They failed to subjugate that monster before. The best they could do was seal it. Did it somehow escape? This is bad. Even Yang Wei can't handle a red level calamity by himself. We then get an explanation of the six danger levels. Blue represents the pure sanctuary of the gods. Green is safe. Yellow means caution. Orange means danger and evacuation. Red means an area Ruled by calamities. And black human extinction. The guard asks what they should do about the supermarket. Weii coldly gives the
order. Bury it. Nobody can learn that Aries failed to control the spider queen. Just announced that everyone inside died and send disciples to bury the entire building. Meanwhile, inside the supermarket, an S-rank disciple is desperately trying to hold the calamities back with ice magic. For a moment, it works. Then, cracks spread Through the ice. The monsters break free. The S-rank can't believe it. How are these things overpowering his magic so easily? Right then, Lie Gian casually walks past him carrying an armful of cola. Our boy tells the snowflake bastard to move. The S-rank didn't even
notice when Lie Jian appeared in front of him. Lie Jian turns toward the monsters. Since they're here, they might as well try his new favorite drink. He generously tosses the cans toward them, Then moves. A second later, the monsters start dropping one after another. Sunj and Jimn watch in complete disbelief. As Lie Jian tears through the entire group, a notification appears. He has successfully handled a calamity. His Zodiac experience has increased. New production materials have been acquired, and he can now create new skills and divine artifacts using these materials. Li Jian likes the sound of
that. At this rate, he might become even stronger than He was during his prime, and that's while suffering from a 50% movement penalty. The S-rank can't process what he's seeing. His S-rank ice magic barely slowed those monsters down, yet this random dude handled them like nothing. Where the hell did someone this strong come from? Then he notices Lie Gian's clothing. Wait, you're the bastard who attacked our disciples. Lie Gian thinks for a second, "Oh yeah, that was him." Then he punches the bald dude and tells Him to shut up. Our boy is more interested in
how he figured that out. The S-rank asks if he's stupid. Lie is literally wearing the same clothes and badge taken from the Gemini disciple he beat earlier. That badge is also an S-rank divine artifact given exclusively to Gemini disciples. In fact, the S-rank assumes that's probably the only reason this mystery man is so powerful. Lie Jian looks at the badge. When the hell did this get on him, then crushes it. The Srank nearly loses his mind. What the hell are you doing? Our boy doesn't care. These divine artifacts are purely elemental anyway. That Gemini witch
clearly hasn't changed either. But before they can continue arguing, the floor shakes again. Jimn instantly recognizes what's coming. The spider queen. The enormous monster begins chasing civilians through the supermarket. Lie Jian immediately charges forward. He calls out to the Spider queen. Hey, look over here. Then tells it to screw off and sends it crashing into the floor with a single punch. Everyone nearby freezes, but the S-rank is the most shocked of all. That dude just charged directly at the spider queen without using a divine artifact. Suddenly, a telepathic message reaches every Gemini disciple inside the
supermarket. Sunj and the S-rank instantly recognize the voice of Divine Cadre, Captain Choi Seung Yuk. He orders Them to evacuate immediately. Aries is planning to bury the entire building. Yongi is personally heading there and Gemini doesn't have the power to stop him. More importantly, the spider queen is a monster. Even Yongi failed to subjugate. That's exactly why Aries is desperate to hide what happened. The captain reminds the S-rank that he has a borrowed teleportation skill. He orders him to grab Sunj and escape. The S-rank hesitates. Should they seriously abandon Everyone else? The captain simply asks
whether there's a problem. The S-rank instantly changes his answer. No problem at all. But Sunungj refuses. There are still innocent people trapped inside. They should help them. The Srank stares at him, then asks Sunungj what would be worse. Abandoning civilians here or allowing the spider queen to escape into the middle of the city. On top of that, if civilians learn the divine cadres abandon them, their faith will weaken. And if their faith weakens, so does the power of the divine gods. So Sunj needs to stop arguing and teleport out. But Sunj still refuses. Jimn is
here. There are injured civilians everywhere. He can't just leave them. The S-rank asks if this kid is stupid. This isn't the time to play hero. He's not getting buried alive because Sunj hesitated over a few random people. And since he technically can't ignore the captain's orders, maybe he'll simply remove those Burdens himself. Sunj immediately calls him a worthless piece of trash. The S-rank turns toward him. Does this brat seriously think he can fight him? The difference between their strength is bam. Something hits the S-rank from behind and sends him flying. Of course, it's our boy.
Lie Jian asks Jimn and Sunj why they're still standing around. Jimn is relieved to see him. Sunj explains that calamities are blocking the exits. Their only options are Teleportation or defeating every monster. There are also injured civilians everywhere and Aries members are preventing people from escaping outside. Ligion size. What a pain. Behind him, the S-rank starts yelling because our boy accidentally stepped on him without even noticing. Lieon tells his bald-headed ass to be quiet. The S-rank has had enough. Forget everybody else. He's teleporting out alone. But right before the skill activates, a Strand of web
shoots across the room. The spider queen catches him and just like that, the S-rank is gone. Lie Gion turns towards Sanjay and Jimn. He'll handle the spider queen. They should focus on helping the injured civilians and preparing everyone to evacuate and they shouldn't worry. This won't take long. Outside, the massive seal surrounding the supermarket is slowly weakening. Yangi arrives and asks for the situation. His men explain that the Entire supermarket has been blocked off and sealed, but something's wrong. The seal isn't behaving properly. It almost feels like something inside is resisting it. Then an enormous
snake-like creature erupts from the supermarket and shatters the seal. Weeyi nearly loses it. What the hell is that? Civilians immediately begin escaping from inside. Some of them desperately tell the guards that people are still trapped in there. Then they mention that some random guy killed all The spiders. Yang Wei freezes. What do you mean some random guy killed them? Even he couldn't defeat the spider queen. Weii decides he has to see this for himself. He launches toward the third floor. The moment he arrives, his eyes widen. The spider queen is lying there defeated. How? Who
could have taken this monster down? Weey examines the destruction around him. Someone genuinely fought and defeated the spider queen. But who? Then he senses a Familiar presence. He rushes toward the window. Hugo otter. Why is that bastard here? For a moment, Weey wonders whether Hugo is responsible for all this. Oh boy, he could not be more wrong because Lie Gian suddenly appears behind him like something out of a horror movie. Our boy casually asks how Weey has been. They haven't seen each other in 20 years. Why does his expression look so rotten? Weey turns around
and screams Lie Jian's name. Meanwhile, police Officers and ambulances are helping injured civilians outside. Sunj starts questioning whether that mysterious man really could be Lie Gon. His appearance is completely different, but his movements, they're exactly like the Lie Guon he's studied his entire life. Right then, Hugo calls out to Sanjay and asks why he's here. Sunj rudely asks why Hugo came back to Korea. Hugo immediately tells him not to speak to his father like that. Still, Hugo is mainly Relieved that the boys aren't seriously injured. They should be fine after some treatment, but there's something
more important. Did they see who defeated the calamity? Sunj refuses to answer. Hugo gets annoyed. Then Jimn casually turns towards Sunj and says, "Gon should probably be fine, right?" Hugo's head snaps toward him. "Did you just say Gian? Where is he? How do you know him?" Jimn explains that he's still inside the supermarket. He's also the person who Defeated the spider queen, and the man introduced himself as Lie Jian. Hugo demands every detail, but before Jimn can explain, a massive crash shakes the building above them. Back upstairs, Yongi is breathing heavily. Lie Jian calls him
dramatic. It's been 20 years since they last saw each other, and this bastard attacks him immediately. Weey still can't accept what he's seeing. The man's presence definitely feels like Liian. His movements feel familiar, too, But the scars are gone. Even his voice sounds different. Weey suddenly realizes something. Of course, this bastard is a fake. He almost got scared for nothing. Lie asks what the hell he's talking about. Weey confidently walks toward him. Then, our boy asks whether he's seriously an idiot. Punch. Weey goes flying, but Lieon isn't finished. He appears behind Weey in midair and
slams him straight back down. Our boy slowly approaches him. So, did their lives Improve after getting rid of him inside the tower? They stole his divine artifacts, stole his possessions, even forged his will. Lie Jian cracks his fingers. He's going to deal with every single one of them. First, he'll teach Wei a lesson. Then, he'll take his house, his divine cadre, his divine artifacts, and after that, he'll move on to the rest of those bastard saints. Weey knows from the way this man speaks that he isn't bluffing. Even worse, Those movements earlier were exactly like
Lieons's. Could this actually be him? Did this monster seriously survive 20 years inside the demon tower? Weii still refuses to believe it. If he's really Lie Gayon, then prove it. Weey begins releasing his power. Behind him appears the owner of Aries, the divine god Jade Emperor. Weey flicks his fingers. Chains instantly wrap around Lieon. He asks whether he still looks like the weakling from 20 years ago. Then millions of blades appear around them. Royal skill, divine god's weapon. Every blade launches toward our boy. Lieon sarcastically admits that this is pretty insane. Then everything crashes into
him. A gigantic mountain of weapons completely covers the area. Weii smiles. That should do it. He walks toward the pile, admitting that seeing Lieon return from the demon tower surprised him. But in the end, this bastard is still as stupid as ever. During those 20 years, Weii became stronger using experience gathered by his disciples. Did Lieon seriously think the saints sat around doing nothing while he was trapped? Then a bright green light appears inside the mountain of blades. Weii's confidence disappears instantly. Li Jian bursts through and punches him across the room. Weeyi can't believe it.
How did this bastard survive that? He finally asks the question, "Are you really Liian?" Our boy proudly tells him the idiot Finally figured it out. But Liian is more annoyed by something else. Even we's weapons smell terrible. Weey is completely lost. How has this man regenerated so perfectly? Not even the healers of Aquarius can restore somebody to this degree. Meanwhile, more notifications appear in front of our boy because he experienced another near-death situation. Lieon has unlocked a new skill. 13th sense. Lieon smiles. Perfect. There's something he wants to Test. Even the divine god of Aries
is shocked that Lieon is alive. It calls the situation impossible. Then the god simply disappears. Weii turns around. Wait, where are you going? Why did his own god just abandon him and now Yangi has officially become Lie Yan's personal punching bag. A little while later, Hugo and the guards arrive and stare at the defeated monsters scattered throughout the building. Then Hugo senses something familiar. Yongi, and judging by the State he's in, this is definitely Liian's work. Hugo releases his power and tells everyone to stand back. He breaks through the ground and drops down. When he
finds Weii, there's even a note left on him. Yeah, this is 100% Lie Jian. We then cut to our boy inside one of Yang Wei's properties. Lie Jian knows this is where that bastard stored the divine artifacts stolen from him. He looks around. He can practically smell one of his artifacts nearby. After Searching through the collection, Liian finds clothing that looks like his, but most of the weapons fake. Then he finally sees something familiar. A toothpick once used by Liian. Our boy's eyes light up. his precious baby. Alarms immediately begin blaring. Guards rush toward area
B. Liian stands there holding the toothpick while hundreds of guards surround him. They order him to place the item down and surrender peacefully. Our boy considers their Request. No. With one flick of the toothpick, the entire group is sent flying. Lie looks back at his precious artifact. The toothpick suddenly transforms into a strange mudlike creature. Our boy smiles. It's been a long time. He actually missed this little bastard. A notification appears. A divine artifact has been rediscovered. And with it, Lie Jian unlocks the creation workshop skill. Our boy decides it's finally time to leave now
that he's Reunited with his old pal. Then he senses more Aries divine artifacts behind another door. We already know where this is going. Lie opens it. By the time Hugo arrives, the entire place is already in chaos. Hugo desperately hopes Gian hasn't done anything too insane. Then our boy appears carrying a gigantic bag stuffed with divine artifacts. Hugo immediately calls his name and rushes toward him with tears in his eyes. Lie watches his friend Approach. Maybe this bastard really is a good friend after all. Except Hugo runs straight past him and hugs the random guy
standing behind him. Hugo starts crying, saying how much he missed Gion. Lie Jian kicks him. Are you stupid? Hugo falls over completely confused. Then he notices the strange slime-like divine artifact beside the real Liian. Wait a second. He recognizes that artifact. Lie asks whether he needs to beat him a second time before Hugo figures out who He is. It finally clicks. Hugo immediately hugs him. He can't believe Gian is actually alive. Is this seriously him? Lie Jian responds by punching Hugo in the stomach. Never hug him like that again. Hugo smiles through the pain. Yeah,
that's definitely Gian. Suddenly, another notification appears. The divine god of Sagittarius, Apollo, has appeared. Apollo materializes behind Hugo and stares at Lie Gian. Hugo is confused. Why is his god suddenly Showing up? Apollo tells Hugo to test whether this person is truly Lie Jon. Hugo asks how. Simple. Shoot him with a flaming arrow and see what happens. Lie Jian's eyebrow twitches. Why the hell is this bastard suddenly aiming an arrow at him? Hugo desperately tries calming him down. It's fine as long as Gian is actually okay. Lie Jian stops him. Forget that. Hugo owes him.
When Liian returned from the tower, his house had been sold. His will was forged and every Divine artifact he owned disappeared. So, our boy asks Hugo for one small favor. Let him punch him. The next second, Hugo screams. Why did this bastard hit him that hard? Right then, guards announce that they've located the thief who stole the divine artifacts. Lie completely forgot people were chasing him. Hugo asks what exactly he stole. Our boy casually points toward the gigantic sack. Just a few things. One guard asks whether they should Arrest him immediately. The leader refuses. That
man is far beyond anything they can handle, but luckily for them, they also have a monster. A massive creature jumps down from the building and lands in front of Lie Gillion. This is the household god of Aries, the beast of riches, Pishu. The monster lets out a deafening screech. Seeing it, Hugo immediately suggests the smart option. Drop the stolen artifacts and run. Lieon has another idea. He tells his slime to Give him his sword. Bright light erupts from the creature. It spits out a tiny dagger. Hugo stares. That's it. But Lieon knows the weapon has
another form. He tells it to reveal its true shape. A lightning strike crashes down. The tiny dagger transforms into an enormous sword. Hugo can feel the ridiculous amount of energy coming from it. Notifications appear. The divine artifact has awakened through the power ofus. Lie Gian is also reminded about His new 13th sense, a skill that lets him identify an enemy's weak points. Our boy activates it instantly. Every weak point on Pishu becomes visible. Lie Jian decides to attack first. Hugo smiles. That's Gian's fighting style. He always attacks first. Go get him, Gian. Pishu immediately slams
Lie Jian into the ground. Hugo's excitement disappears. Bro, but beneath the monster's foot, Liian casually pushes it away. Our boy complains that its foot smells horrible, Then smiles. His turn. A flash crosses the battlefield. Pishu loses its balance as Li Jian's attack tears through one of its legs. A notification appears. Pishu activates its ability and begins absorbing riches from everything around it. Lie Jon answers with one of his own skills, trade of Fugucus. He tells the bastard to stay still, then swings. A gigantic blade of energy races toward Pishu. Direct hit. The force tears through
the surrounding area and even Cuts into the building behind them. Hugo can't believe what he's seeing. Gian's strength. It's already reaching the level he had during his prime. Another notification appears. Lie Jian's zodiac experience has increased for defeating a household god. Then the system asks something unexpected. Would he like to bring Pishu into his own household? Lie pauses. Wait, he can control household gods? That's supposed to be something only the 12 divine gods can do. Our boy Places his hand on Pishu. Bright green energy surrounds the creature. Its body begins changing. A moment later, another
notification appears. Pishu has officially become a household member of O ofus. Current household members. One. The gigantic monster has also shrunk into something much smaller and honestly kind of cute. Lie Jian couldn't be happier. Pishu is known as the beast of riches, which means our boy finally has somewhere to store all the treasure he Stole. The system asks whether he would like to give Pishu a new name. Lie Jian doesn't hesitate. Piggy bank. Sometime later, Lijian complains that Hugo is a traitor. While his best friend was fighting for his life inside the tower for 20
years, this bastard got married and enjoyed himself. Still, Gian says he won't keep freeloading at Hugo's house forever. Hugo tells him he can stay as long as he wants. He lives alone anyway. Lie Jian immediately assumes the poor Bastard got divorced. Hugo insists he isn't divorced. His wife is then stops. Never mind. Change the subject. Instead, Hugo asks what actually happened inside the demon tower. He was fighting calamities outside like Gian asked. So, he never knew what happened deeper inside. And there's something else that's bothered him for 20 years. Why did the other saints return
carrying the Crimson Eyes head instead of Lie Gian? Our boy tells him it's a sad story. He Was betrayed, then thrown into a trap containing an infinite number of calamities, and things got even worse. The Crimson Eye they defeated came back. Hugo instantly freaks out. What does he mean it came back? Lie Jian explains that the crimson eye they originally fought wasn't even the creature's real body. Its actual body was hidden deep inside the demon tower. Gian eventually managed to defeat it. But even that wasn't the biggest problem. There was an Administrator controlling the tower
and that bastard could revive dead calamities. Lie Gian barely defeated him. After everything was over, our boy collapsed. And from what he remembers, he's pretty sure he actually died. Yet when he eventually woke up, every calamity around him was gone. His body had changed and he possessed the strange abilities he has now. Lie Jian still doesn't know exactly what happened, but there is one thing he's certain about. Whoever stabbed him in the back knew the layout of the demon tower. That person didn't randomly push him into some cave. They specifically trapped him in a location
filled with endlessly spawning calamities. Meaning whoever betrayed him knew exactly what was waiting down there. Lie Gian immediately gets fired up again. He needs to find that bastard. And to do that, he needs proper equipment. Our boy activates Creation Workshop. A notification asks which Materials he wants to use to create a divine artifact. Several options appear. The corrupted essence of the spider queen, which can provide accumulated magic power, fragments of calamities, which increase the success rate and strength of the completed artifact, and multiple Aries divine artifacts. Lie looks at all these ingredients, then does the
reasonable thing. Throw everything in. The creation process begins. Bright light surrounds a small Wooden horse. When the light disappears, the horse is glowing red. A notification announces that the divine artifact has been completed. An ego has also been created. Its ability is strange. If Lieon writes somebody's name onto the artifact, that person will be able to absorb magic power from whoever they touch. Hugo stares at the wooden horse for a high-grade piece of equipment with an ego. It looks kind of lame. Lie immediately loses it. Does this bastard Have any idea how many materials he
spent making that thing? He was actually planning to make equipment for Hugo, too. Forget it now. Hugo instantly changes his opinion. Actually, that's the coolest wooden horse he has ever seen. He apologizes for disrespecting such a beautiful divine artifact. Lie tells him to shut up. More importantly, they need to start dealing with the Saints. Hugo points out that getting the other saints away from their territories Won't be easy. That's when Lie Jian pulls out a box. This should draw them out. Hugo recognizes it instantly. The Safe of the Golden Fleece, one of the highest ranking
Royal Divine artifacts. It can store practically anything and even multiply the items inside if the user pays the proper price. But that creates one obvious question. Why did Gian steal it? Nobody here can even use the thing. Lie Jian explains that he heard Hugo was broke, so naturally he Brought it to help. The stronger the divine artifact he wants to create, the more materials he'll need. If they use the golden fleece to multiply those materials, Lie Geon can produce enough high-grade artifacts to destroy every bastard standing in his way. Hugo once again reminds him of
the tiny problem. Nobody can activate it. Our boy thinks he might be able to. Hugo immediately tells him not to touch anything until they find another method. Then Lie Jian Casually reveals something else. He already sent a declaration of war to a broadcasting station. Hugo slowly turns around. You sent what? Li Jian isn't even listening anymore. He's too busy thinking about the golden fleece. Hugo starts losing his mind. What the hell did you send them? You crazy bastard. We then cut to the blue house in Korea. One man is mocking the others for failing to
kill a single spider. Not only did they fail, they somehow got humiliated in the Process. This man is Oliver, a Leo divine cadre captain. One of the guards warns Oliver to watch his mouth, but Oliver doesn't care. He heard some unknown guy was the one who actually killed the spider queen. What happened? Did Lie Jian come back from the dead or something? Someone immediately shatters his glass. Don't cross the line. The man confronting Oliver is Cho Sun Seyuk a Gemini divine cadray captain. Oliver jokes that Seunguk seems weirdly Obsessed with Lieon's old hero stories. Seyuk
dismisses Gian's reputation. According to him, Lieon was only powerful because the other saints constantly buffed him and supplied his weapons. With that kind of support, Sunyuk believes he could have performed even better. Oliver raises an eyebrow. Then why couldn't you defeat the spider queen? Sunyuk immediately claims Aries defeated it through the sacrifice of an S-ranked disciple. Oliver doesn't Remember Aries having anybody powerful enough for that. The two stare each other down. Meanwhile, one poor guard wonders when the blue house became a meeting place for thugs. Then another guard rushes inside. Something huge just happened. They
turn on the news. A reporter announces that the broadcasting station received a mysterious package. Inside were photographs believed to show Yang Wei. There was also a short written message. Handwriting analysis showed a 99% match with the supposedly dead Liion. Hugo immediately starts screaming at our boy. What the hell was he thinking sending something like this? Dealing with Yongi is already a massive problem. Why announce it to the entire world? Li Jean calmly explains that Yong Wee isn't dead. Hugo pauses. What? Well, he's technically not alive either. Our boy pulls out a stuffed bunny. This is
Yang Wei. Hugo looks genuinely disturbed. Inside the stuffed toy, Weii Is screaming for Liga Yan to release him, but nobody can hear his voice. Our boy proudly explains that his abilities improved after their battle. He can even restrain Yangwi's soul now. Still, that's not the most important thing. Lieon hands Hugo a knife. This is the exact weapon that was stabbed into his back before he was trapped inside the demon tower. Hugo carefully examines the engraving. This definitely isn't an ordinary weapon, but he's certain about One thing. Yang Wei wasn't the person who stabbed Guon. Lie
already knows. That's why he's heading to the divine artifact store. According to Yang Wei, he remembers seeing that engraving somewhere around there. Our boy steals some of Hugo's clothes on the way out, then points toward Piggy Bank. Slave number two, will guard the house. Slave number one, Lie Jian, will be back later. Elsewhere, guards examine the destroyed Aries building. One reports to Her boss that Yang Wei is nowhere to be found. She can't sense his divine energy either. Her boss is none other than the Aquarius Saint Sophie Marty. The guard wonders whether Weey disappeared with
all his wealth. Sophie thinks that would be troublesome, especially if he secretly made a deal with another saint behind her back. Then the guard cautiously asks another question. Could the supposedly returned Lee Gon have kidnapped Yongi? Sophie laughs, then Turns toward another guard and begins threatening her for even suggesting something so ridiculous. The first guard instantly apologizes for saying anything unnecessary. Sophie announces that she's heading to the divine artifact store. She wants to sell several of her artifacts before the Dramma auction, so everything needs to be prepared. Right then, another guard rushes inside with terrible
news. Other saints have also applied to participate in the Dramma Auction. We then cut to the Lion Gym. Someone tells a man named Steven that rumors are spreading about one of Liian's divine artifacts appearing at the Dramma auction. Steven immediately drops his weights. It finally appeared and that artifact will belong to him. This man is Steven Marker, the Leo Saint. Meanwhile, Lie and Sunj teleport to the divine artifact shopping complex using a teleportation skill Sunj received from Gemini. Our boy thanks Sunj for introducing him to an SS rank appraiser. Sunj isn't exactly doing this out
of kindness. His divine cadre captain ordered him to scout the mysterious man who defeated the spider queen no matter what. He was told to provide whatever support Liian needed. Seeing how much Sunj's boss has been pestering him. Our boy decides to give the kid something. It's the sword Li Jian used against the monsters earlier. Janice desire rank A. Sunj can't believe It, he immediately thanks him. Soon they reach the shop belonging to the SS rank appraiser. Outside, several people are practically frozen by the beauty of one woman walking through the complex. It's Sophie Marty, the
Aquarius saint. She tells her guard that she wants to leave several divine artifacts with the appraiser before the auction, but the guard informs her that the man is currently helping another customer. Inside, Sophie is ready to crash out. How dare an appraiser make the great saints wait. Still, she forces a smile. She can wait for now. Meanwhile, Lieon looks around the appraisal shop. An SS rank runs this place. Makes sense. Even the prices are SS rank. The appraiser is examining Janus desire. He asks Sunj whether he created it. More importantly, does Sanjay have some connection
to Lie? This appraiser is Jynong, an SS rank specialist affiliated with Virgo. Sunj points toward our boy. He's the person Who brought the artifact. Jyn immediately turns toward Lieon. What is his relationship with Liion? Our boy asks why he cares. Jyn explains that most people only remember Lieon for his combat ability, but he was also a legendary producer of divine artifacts. Jyn has examined countless fake artifacts claiming to be Liian's work. This one is different. He can feel Lijian's craftsmanship inside it. Our boy smirks. This dude seems to know a Lot about Liian. Jyn proudly
confirms it. Of course, he does. After all, he's Lie Jian's disciple. Li Jian nearly shortcircuits. What? Since when did he have a disciple? Our boy starts wondering whether he should just punch this scammer. Then Jyn hands him an old notebook. This is the object he received after Lie Jian personally recognized him as a student. Lie Jian's eyes widen. He recognizes it immediately. That's his notebook. Then an old memory clicks. Could Jyn be that annoying newbie who followed him around China? Lie Jian remembers the kid being a massive pain. Turns out he was just a huge
fan. Our boy always assumed he lost the notebook. Looks like this bastard stole it. Jyn proudly mentions that Liian's handwriting was so terrible he could never understand what was written inside. Still, he always assumed it contained valuable production ideas. Liion glances at him. Most of the Notebook is just a list of people he wanted to beat up. But then Jyn unexpectedly hands it over. Something this valuable would be more useful in the hands of a talented young producer like Lie Jian. Our boy gladly accepts it. There actually were some artifact designs inside and he was
annoyed when the book disappeared. The moment Liian touches it, another notification appears. The notebook has detected its owner's magic power. Through Ofucus, it Is evolving into a divine artifact. Jyn's eyes nearly pop out of his head. A memory storage divine artifact. He's never seen anything like this. Right then, one of the workers rushes inside and tells Jyn there's a problem. The Saint is waiting outside. Jyn doesn't understand why everyone is so terrified. Meanwhile, Sunj is standing outside among the crowd. Even he finds Sophie's presence strange. The Aquarius Saint rarely appears anywhere except official Events. Sophie,
on the other hand, is reaching the end of her patience. She needs Jyn to purchase her divine artifacts for a high price so she can gather money for the auction. How much longer does this bastard plan on making her wait? She angrily reaches for the door who could possibly be important enough for Jyn to ignore a saint. The moment she walks inside, she sees our boy and freezes. For some reason, Sophie's body immediately reacts to his Presence. She takes a step closer, then suddenly sees something terrifying. An enormous serpent appears in front of her. The
next second, Sophie drops to the ground. What the hell was that magic power? It felt like hundreds of snakes wrapped around her body at once. Every instinct inside her screams the same thing. Leave immediately. Jyn watches her walk right back out. Didn't she just come inside? A notification appears in front of Lie Jian. Someone affiliated With the Zodiacs approached Ofucas fearlessly. His divine power has been sharpened through Ofucas. Current divine power 35%. The system explains that divine power is the godly energy required to manifest a divine god's authority. Lie Jian can even steal divine power
from other gods or individuals. And if a zodiac's divine power reaches zero, they lose their power entirely. Our boy looks toward Jyn. Was that woman seriously the Saintest? Jyn can't believe this dude doesn't even recognize one of the most famous women in the world. He confirms it. Aquarius saint Sophie Marty Leian suddenly bursts out laughing. Wait, whenever people say the saint, they're talking about her. He barely recognized the woman after 20 years. But even if everything else changed, those evil eyes didn't. Lie Jian puts Sophie firmly inside his personal trash category. As far as he's
concerned, this woman would Value her skincare routine over an actual human life. Jyn quietly agrees. He also doesn't understand why society considers Sophie the pinnacle of compassion and self-sacrifice. Behind the public image, she's cruel and selfish. Lie Jian is happy at least one person knows the truth. Jyn then explains why Sophie became so famous. She used to claim she was Li Jian's personal physician. Using that connection, she attempted to take Control of funds gathered under Lie Jian's name. But because multiple saints wanted the money, the government eventually stepped in and took control of it. Jyn
notices how casually Lie Jian speaks about Sophie. Does he know her personally? Our boy gives him a smile. They're old friends. At the same time, Sophie is outside having a mental breakdown. That cold stare, that overwhelming power. Everything about that mystery man reminded her of Lie Gian. She orders her guard to go back to the appraisal shop and discover his identity. The guard asks what they should do about Jyn. Sophie thinks for a second, then changes her mind. Kill them. The guard hesitates. Jyn is a valuable Virgo affiliate, and they still need somebody to purchase
their artifacts. Sophie doesn't care. Those bastards ruined her mood and brought back an old trauma. She'll even lend the guard one of her divine artifacts and a Portion of her god's power. The guard has no choice. Disobeying the will of one of the 12 saints isn't really an option. Meanwhile, Lieon notices water leaking through the ceiling. We cut to Sanjay walking through the complex. Something is strange. Water is spreading across the floor despite it not raining. Then Sunj notices his reflection. Something about it looks wrong. A hand suddenly reaches out from the water. Before Sunj
can process what's Happening. Screams erupt all around him. It isn't just his reflection. Copies of everyone in the area are emerging from the water. Sophie watches from a distance. This ability is called mirror of replication. The copied people are only a rank disciples, but Sophie doesn't care. Even ants can defeat an elephant if there are enough of them. Sunj sees one of Sophie's guards and demands an explanation. Why is a combat ability being activated inside a neutral Zone? cancel it immediately. The guard calmly explains that everything is happening under the Saints' orders. Sunj has no
authority to interfere. Then she activates a divine artifact. Sunj yells at her to stop. A massive burst of water explodes across the area. Moments later, dozens of people are trapped inside the attack. The guard announces that she's personally handling the man inside the appraisal shop. The replicas will capture Jyn. Sunj barely had time to React. He's now trapped underwater and quickly losing consciousness. If he doesn't escape soon, he's done. Back inside the shop, Lie Gayon continues staring at the water dripping from the ceiling. Jyn can sense the suspicious mana outside too. Then water suddenly wraps
around Jyn. At the exact same moment, a dagger stops beside Lie Gayon's neck. The guard tells him not to move. She claims she doesn't personally have anything against him. The problem Is that he displeased the saintus, so unless he wants trouble, he should cooperate. Then she explains Sophie's offer. The saints ordered her to eliminate both Lie Gian and Jyn. But if they apologize and agree to purchase Sophie's divine artifacts at an extremely high price, the guard might put in a good word. Jyn starts considering his options. Lie Jian looks at the dagger beside his neck,
then asks something completely unrelated. Is it Normal for people to wave knives around in public nowadays? Crack. He breaks the divine artifact with his bare hand. Back in his day, nobody was stupid enough to use weapons in public like this. Lie Jian turns toward Jyn. Make sure they pay for the damages. Jyn isn't even listening. Did this dude seriously break a divine artifact with his bare hands? The guard loses her temper. She already warned him not to move. An enormous water dragon forms behind her and Charges forward. Lie Jian throws one punch. The entire thing
disappears. Our boy looks disappointed. Does she have any more? That actually felt nice to punch. The guard's confidence vanishes. He destroyed an A- rank replication in one strike. The saint was right. This man is dangerous. She needs to eliminate him before he becomes a threat to Sophie. The guard pulls out the necklace Sophie gave her. It's loaded with the Saint's high purity mana. Orange rank Summon water wolf. Several monsters appear. Li Jian casually turns toward Jyn. He's borrowing those swords sitting over there, then disappears. A moment later, our boy tears through the summoned wolves like
they're nothing more than practice targets. The guard stares in disbelief. The Saints' summons destroyed that easily. Lie turns toward her. Is that seriously all Sophie prepared? Even the guard realizes she has zero chance of winning. If she Fights this man directly, she'll lose. So, she runs. As she reaches the door, she shouts that he won't get away with this. Lie Jian shakes his head. People who say stuff like that are never scary. Right then, Sunj rushes into the shop. Aquarius disciples just launched an unprovoked attack on the entire complex. He barely escaped. Lie points toward
the mess around him. Yeah, he noticed. Sunj examines the remaining mana. These were definitely summons created by the Saints. Our boy smiles. With the amount of monsters these people keep sending after him. It's almost like Sophie wants him to turn them into production materials. Still, Sanjay thinks they should leave before reinforcements arrive. But Jyn interrupts them. He's remembering something. 20 years ago when he followed Lie Gayon around and secretly observed his production methods, Jon always used the same process. Fight monsters, defeat them, Take their materials, and that expression Lie Gayon had while fighting earlier. Jyn
knows it. Could this mystery man seriously be Lie Guan? Our boy lifts one finger to his lips. Don't tell anybody. Jyn immediately understands. Lie leaves, telling Jyn that he'll return for those materials later. He also has something he wants to ask him. Jyn bows deeply. Please come again. Once they're outside, Sunungj asks why Aquarius was targeting Lieon in The first place. Our boy genuinely has no idea. But before they worry about that, he wants to show Sunj something amusing. Moments later, Liian is sitting in front of an enormous pile of desserts. This gelato is amazing.
He tells Sunj to eat as much as he wants. Sunj looks nervous. Is he sure? This restaurant is insanely expensive. Lie casually pulls out the item Sophie's guard dropped while escaping an insignia. It works as an identification Card, a payment method, and can even store skills from divine gods. Sunj looks closely. That's definitely the Aquarius insignia. He warns Lie Gayon that because it functions as an ID card, too. Using it might cause problems later. Our boy tells him not to worry. Just eat the gelato. Right then, somebody approaches the table and asks Sanjay whether he
likes the gelato here too. Sunj recognizes the voice instantly. Divine Cadre Captain Chi Seunguk. The man asks if he can join them. Lie Gayon remembers this is the boss who's been pestering Sunj. Sunyuk introduces himself and asks whether Lieon is the incredible acquaintance Sunj mentioned. He heard this man defeated the spider queen, the same monster even Yang Wei failed to subjugate. Lieon asks what that has to do with him. Sunyuk explains that scouting powerful talent is part of a divine cadre captain's job. Then he Reveals something interesting. One of Lieon's eight famous divine artifacts is
about to go up for auction. Maybe they can discuss business while attending. Lie slowly puts down his spoon. Other people are auctioning his belongings now. Our boy immediately agrees. Is the auction house nearby? Not exactly. An artifact belonging to someone as famous as Lie Jian requires a more appropriate location. The greatest auction house in the world, a fortress city located over 16,000 ft in the sky. Drama. We then cut to the Dramma Grand auction. Sophie Marty is sitting in a corner visibly nervous. Someone nearby gets annoyed if she's just going to sit there shaking. She
should leave. She's ruining the taste of his alcohol. Sophie would love nothing more than to shut this bastard up. But she needs to tolerate him for now because the man sitting beside her is somebody who supposedly rose above even Lie Gian and there are few places Safer than standing next to him. This is Steven Marker, the Leo Saint. Steven stands up. The Lie Gian weapon being auctioned today belongs to him. Sophie shouldn't even think about competing for it. She asks where he's going. Steven tells her it's none of her business. Just sit there and wait.
Sophie nearly explodes, but she forces herself to remain calm. This is Drama, whoever that mysterious man from earlier is. There's no way he can reach her here. Then Sophie notices someone across the hall. Hugo, perfect timing. Meanwhile, Hugo is searching around for Lie Gian, knowing that bastard, a place filled with absurdly expensive divine artifacts, is exactly where he'd appear. Then, Sophie taps Hugo on the shoulder. It's been a long time. Has he been well? Hugo's expression instantly turns dark. Sophie mentions that he's become difficult to contact. He used to be the public face of the
saints, but even Hugo can't Defeat time. He's changed a lot. Maybe it's because he has so few disciples compared to everyone else. Hugo clearly wants nothing to do with her. He tells Sophie to leave. She smiles. Is he seriously going to ignore her? After all, if he keeps behaving this way, he might lose his children just like he lost his wife. Sophie pauses. Actually, has his wife died yet? Even if she hasn't, what can Hugo possibly do when his entire family is falling apart Because of someone as incompetent as him? Flames explode around Hugo? He
gives Sophie one final warning. Leave. She blocks the attack and reminds him about the truce the Saints agreed to 10 years ago. More importantly, shouldn't someone with his current status be more careful? After all, he's barely considered a full saint anymore. Then, somebody speaks from behind her. What an annoying pest. It's our boy. Lee Gon casually flicks Sophie and knocks her Away. Hugo immediately turns around. Gon. Our boy asks what Hugo is doing here. Hugo claims he came because he was worried. In reality, he came because he knew Gian would probably create another disaster, but
he's smart enough not to say that. Lie narrows his eyes. Does this creep like him or something? Then he looks towards Sophie. Seriously, why is this woman everywhere he goes? Does she like him too? Of course, the truth is the complete opposite. Sophie has Always hated Lie Jian or more accurately, she was terrified of him, his scarred face, aggressive personality, and those cold eyes that always looked at her like she was trash. We flash back 20 years. Aquarius guards are desperately yelling at Lijian to stop. One tells him to leave immediately. Our boy tells her
to get lost. Then Sophie walks in. She asks what the hell he's doing. He can't just trespass into her territory. She orders Him to leave. Li Jian slams his fist into the wall beside her. Does she want to die? Sophie demands to know why he's acting like this. Li Jian reminds her that he sent injured civilians here for treatment. So why the hell is she sitting around doing nothing? Some of those people were seriously injured while protecting her. Sophie was the one who promised she'd treat them. Our boy grabs her arm. Get up. Go save
them. But Sophie doesn't care. Why should somebody Like her waste time worrying about random people? They should be grateful they were able to protect a saint for humanity. Then she accuses Lie Jian of looking down on the saints. Public opinion is already turning against them. People keep saying the Saints are useless and she has absolutely no interest in dealing with whatever is happening in that hospital. Lie Jian slowly turns around. What did you just say? Sophie dismisses him. She has an Interview later. She needs to finish getting ready. That was the wrong answer. Lie Jian
teaches her a lesson and personally drags Sophie to the injured civilians, forcing her to treat them until the work is finished. And from that moment onward, Sophie absolutely despised Lie Jian. Back in the present, Sophie slowly wakes up. The first thing she sees is our boy's face. She instantly screams, then realizes she's tied to a chair. Sophie demands to Be released immediately. Do these idiots understand they're restraining the saints? Lie turns toward Hugo. This woman seriously hasn't changed at all in 20 years. Sophie curses him internally. Things aren't like they were 20 years ago. She
begins producing acidic magic around her hands to burn through the restraints. Something this weak can't hold her. All she needs to do is escape and find Steven Marker. Unfortunately, Lie Gian is staring directly at her. Our Boy tells Sophie that every thought she's having is written all over her face. Then he looks at his hand. Why is it burning? Sophie immediately laughs. Idiot. She has an acidic protection skill that automatically activates whenever someone attacks her. Now that the acid touched his hand, it'll continue spreading. Except Lieon's hand regenerates immediately. Sophie stares. What the hell? Our
boy cracks his knuckles. Time to go over everything This woman has done. First, she spent years claiming she was Lie Gon's personal doctor. That's one. Second, she sent those goons after him at the appraisal shop. That's several more and everything she just said to Hugo. Yeah, that's a lot. Sophie immediately tells him to wait. Lie pretends to consider it, then continues teaching her a lesson anyway. Hugo watches from the side. Gian really treats everybody equally. Then Hugo notices something strange. Every Time Liian lands a hit, his divine status seems to increase. But which divine god
is that status connected to? Eventually, Sophie loses consciousness. A notification appears in front of Liian. Divine status has been unlocked. Our boy is confused. Explain that again. The system states that divine status is godly power used to manifest and maintain the abilities of a divine god. Lie Jian can steal divine status from disciples belonging to other gods. And If a god's divine status falls all the way to zero, that zodiac loses its power completely. Lie Jian thinks about it. So basically, he can become stronger by beating the hell out of enemy disciples. Interesting. Maybe the
reason he didn't absorb any from Yangi is because divine status hadn't been unlocked yet. Either way, looks like our boy can still become much stronger. Hugo then asks whether they should question Sophie about the dagger used to betray Lie Gian, but Gian Doesn't think she was the person who stabbed him. Besides, he already found somebody capable of investigating the weapon. Lie Jian checks the phone he took earlier. He's already wasted enough time. He tells Hugo he's heading to the auction house. Hugo can deal with Sophie, throw her in a trash can or something. Our boy
walks toward the door and tells Hugo to contact him once everything is finished. After Lieon leaves, Hugo stares at the unconscious Saintus. Now, what the hell is he supposed to do with her? Then the door suddenly opens. Hugo looks up and immediately realizes this is probably the worst person who could have arrived right now. Steven Marker, the Leo Saint, looks at Sophie tied to the chair, then slowly turns toward Hugo. What exactly does Hugo think he's
