[Peter] Guys, the Avengers always fight among themselves, within the team itself, this is happening all the time in the comics. So today's fight is between two founding members of the team, look at this, I'm talking about genius, playboy, millionaire and philanthropist, Iron Man, Tony Stark! Who will face none other than the son of Odin, the mighty Thor!
Yep, that happened in the comics, let's see if Stark had a chance, let's go! Hey Nerd, what's up? Peter here!
Guys, this fight takes place well after the events of Civil War, in the comic called Rebirth of the Gods. This comic brings back Thor, who was missing, after the destruction of Asgard and all other gods in Ragnarok. For you new to the NERD universe, Ragnarok is the apocalypse of the Norse gods, the end of it all.
When you think of apocalypse, in our world it's called apocalypse, from the Norse gods it's Ragnarok. Well, that's what Thor thought, that was the end of it. Because he discovers that Ragnarok is a cycle in which the higher gods, whom Thor knows by the name of Those Who Sit Above in the Shadows, maintained the entire pantheon of Asgard.
With that, after the end of the world, they were always reborn weaker than before and walked again to another Ragnarok, that is: Eternally. It was a cycle, all the time the end of everything happening for the Norse gods. Thor freeds his people by breaking the cycle, and then enters a state of hibernation, basically dying like all the other gods.
He is brought back by his alter ego, Dr Donald Blake, who summons Thor from the void dimension, and convinces him that the world needs him again. Even Blake himself lived in that dimension of the void for years, when he was erased from existence by Odin. But with the death of the All-Father in Ragnarok, the enchantment was broken and he came back to life.
But there's a problem, Thor doesn't want to come back. He has nowhere else to turn, his city has been destroyed and his people killed. Then Blake convinces him that if there is Thor, there is Asgard.
And as for the gods, they kind of live like humans, unaware of their Asgardian nature. So they are living there among humans. Thor then just needs to find, shall we say, the fallen gods, and remind each of them that they really are gods!
Thor is convinced, and after fighting creatures of the void, he returns. Now sharing existence with Donald Blake. Once they get back, they check into a small town near Oklahoma.
At one point, Blake drives a truck as far away from the town as possible, and when he realizes that he is in an area far away from everything, he slams his staff on the ground, and with a bang, lightning strikes and he stands up in the form of Thor! That's where Thor does one of his most incredible feats, carrying the idea that Asgard exists according to his will, he spins his Mjolnir and flies, summoning a storm, and in the middle of the hurricane he screams: "Assgaaard! " .
But it's not that simple, he keeps spinning Mjolnir and keeping the storm going for almost a week, until the weather calms down and Thor finally lands. Then Asgard resurfaces out of nowhere. Speak up, is it or isn't that overpower?
The city is so big, it stretches for miles, and its towers reach into the sky. I didn't exaggerate when I said it's one of Thor's most incredible feats, and it's obvious that something of this magnitude wouldn't go unnoticed by the authorities. Not just locals, but across the country.
A curiosity is that Thor had to buy the land from the owner, because even making the city float on them, he was still violating the laws. The owner leaves there with the truck full of gold from the halls of Asgard, and he, laughing from ear to ear, was happy with that sale, right? You know who else will be laughing from ear to ear?

Thank you from the heart! Well, as I said at the beginning of the video, this story takes place after Civil War, and of course the Government would not allow a hero to do whatever he wants on American soil. For those who don't remember, the Civil War saga divided the entire heroic community of Marvel, on one side you had those who were in favor of the hero registration law, led by Iron Man, and on the other, those who were against the measure, led by Captain America.
So there was team Iron Man and team Captain America. After the saga, the law goes into effect across the US. After having rebuilt his city, Thor leaves in search of the other gods, to wake them up from “sleep”, ok.
In one of these searches, he is surprised by Tony Stark. That presents himself in a friendly way. He tells Thor he needs to talk, and before leaving for the formalities, he says he's glad to see his old friend alive.
But Thor didn't fall for his small talk, because he knows everything that happened in his absence and remains silent. Stark loses his temper, and tell him truth. Before the law, he cannot come and make a city appear in the middle of nowhere.
The Government was not satisfied with Thor's actions. Even though Thor paid for the lands, Stark still has the nerve to threaten him by saying that he either works with the Government or against the Government. There is no middle ground, look what Stark is saying, the registration law is clear, he is threatening Thor.
And on top of that, he still threatens to take Thor's lands. The guy is asking for, huh. That's Tony Stark's problem guys, he thinks he's got everything under control, he's always been like that.
Thor wields his hammer. At that time the sky closes, and lightning begins to fall around him. He reminds Tony of his sins, of the people who were their friends and he arrested, or killed, for simply disagreeing with him.
And that would be offense enough, only Tony went further during the Civil War, and without Thor's permission, made a clone using his genetic material, and presented it to the world as if he were the real Thor. He desecrated Thor's body, and violated everything the Asgardian god stood for. Thor asks, totally enraged, if this is how Tony Stark defines friendship.
At that time the lightning begins to crack the ground, and the fight begins. Iron Man tries to explain that things didn't happen that way, but Thor ignores him and lands the first blow, knocking him away. Stark gets angry, gets possessed, right, and hits Thor with a beam of energy that comes out of his hands.
That attack would be enough to finish off a lot of heroes or villains out there, but Thor didn't even move, didn't suffer any scratches. Look at Thor's level of power, of resistance! So Tony goes on top of him, to fight the old-fashioned way, using the fist, in 1v1.
But he is hit back by Thor, who hits him with Mjolnir, like a baseball, but hit by a lightning. Tony tries to get up, but has difficulty, the pain is absurd. The blow was so strong, his armor took a lot of damage.
He is surprised by Thor's strength and tries to trick him by making jokes, just that, saying that he's been working out, to buy time to repair the suit, the armor. Thor says no, he hasn't been working out. And that there's only one difference now: this time he wasn't holding back!
Before Iron Man finishes getting up, he is hit by a HUGE bolt of lightning, which destroys everything around him. Tony screams, because the pain is unbearable, and his armor is totally destroyed, with total systems failure, total, total loss. Thor approached and lifted him by the neck, ripped his mask off his helmet and said looking into his eyes: “Give your orders and ultimatums to whoever chooses to obey or is too cowardly to fight, not me.
Or learn again the difference between a thunder god and a mortal in a metallic suit. ” Guys. .
. damn, no way, right. "Look at the difference", guys!
With that, he still threatens the Government, saying that if any mortal in the name of the state appears in Asgard uninvited, they will know the full power of the God of Thunder. WOOOO! Damn, too cool!
And this will be just the beginning. About the hero registration law, for the first time Thor reveals his position, that for now he is neutral in relation to the war, which he considers foolish. And tells Tony not to give him reason to reconsider his position in battle.
In the end, Iron Man, all screwed up, tells Thor that there is still a solution, and that he can turn his city into an embassy, and keep it in peace. Thor says that's enough and asks him to leave. But his armor is all damaged, and he asks, how is he going to get back to base in those conditions?
Thor's answer is the best, guys: "Walk. " Guys, so ends another See How it Was, but don't think it's over. Do you want to know what ends up with Asgard, or if Thor gets his friends back?
