okay in this video what I want to do is I want to go over some things that we would you know they that are really important about uh starting kind of at the very beginning and that would be your squeeze page slash your landing page you know your first page that somebody sees um I always reference that as a landing page a lot of people close squeeze pages but I'm pretty much saying the very first thing that you're putting putting together for someone to look at now the way you kind of structure one there are
some elements that I'm going to go through uh they're not in any particular order and maybe I'll just kind of tell you where I put them but there's you know there's other people that say they put them here they put them there that kind of thing but I think these are kind of the core things that no matter what from a small scale you want to have on your page and the first one I believe that has to get someone's attention when they get there is the big promise now the big promise is merely something
that is the single biggest solution that you're going to offer me or whoever visits your site to take a look to opt in to do whatever the call to action would be okay you're making me a big promise when when I go there okay and you've seen plenty of these and if you you know if you need ideas there's lots of downloads you can get out there there's plenty of pages you've probably seen where they're guaranteeing something and so on okay it's the big promise the other kind of important thing to have on your site
and if you don't have any you can always accumulate it as it goes as you as you get some success is what we call social proof now social proof could be your own personal social proof of hey I did this and this happened that kind of that kind of social proof as well as the best type of social proof are testimonies uh images you know testimonies from people whether it's text video images you know before and afters that kind of thing um you know posts on your blogs post on your Facebook page and so on
that you can show that other people are are backing up what your big promise is really what you what you who you are what you are you know what you're going to deliver the next thing you want to have on there is a section or a couple sections that lend or add to your credibility basically putting you in a position to be the authority of this big promise okay that's really what you're doing is you're trying to build credibility you're letting me know that hey you're the person I want to listen to and you're the
person that's promising to give me something really significant if I watch your info if I download this form and so on okay now the other thing that I think is very important especially on your your One landing page in my opinion is I like to have a clear call to action and it's typically only one call to action now I'm not saying only one button that opts in for your call to action so I might have you know a form or a page that's a little longer and I might have you know talk talk talk
talk talk and then have a button to opt in and talk talk talk talk and then another button which is the same button just right you know replicated but my call to action I typically am only on my big promise you know delivering everything here is I'm I really am actually asking for one action and that's actually actually you know a little bonus here is how I structure almost all of my marketing you know if I send somebody if I run a Facebook ad I don't try to sell them on five different things in the
one ad I saw I give them the big promise in the ad with a simple call to action to go check out you know go Download a pdf or go watch this video I want I want I'm you know kind of just doing everything I can to get that one single action it's the same thing on the call to action on your page you want them to opt in as an example you know let's say it's a webinar my clear call to action is that I'm I'm giving you a huge promise using my back my
credibility the social proof of people who have seen me the social proof of the stuff I have to get you to opt in so that you can watch a webinar okay that's that's really what the call to action is when it's there now another thing that you should have any time that you think it's a relevant thing or applies is um sense of urgency slash scarcity that could be anything where you add maybe on your page you add some elements like a countdown timer you pull it you know like download now uh you know download
now won't be free for long uh things like that so it's you know the you know this this this offer goes away in 60 days that kind of thing you know only five spots left anything you can put on your page that adds urgency to take that call to action helps it's just a mental psychological you know thing okay and when I structure my pages this last part here of this element and we could go on and on and on um is I like to call out my specific and correct audience from the get-go okay
I want uh if I'm running an ad to a Target Network marketers as soon as they land on that page it's going to say somewhere on there or multiple times on there Network marketers or network marketing or multi-level or MLM whatever it might be so that they have a uh I think you call it congruent congruency uh of of going from the ad to the pages to the you know to the the contact or the the text the copy on the page what it looks like all kind of uh they correlate they get they're the
same okay the correct audience is by by me calling them out I am niching I am also niching it down now you could say you could even go as far as if you created a landing page that's was specific to a company maybe you were targeting like you know um attention Doterra reps are you doing these three things you know that kind of thing you're calling out Doterra reps that's as specific as you could possibly get if I said Network marketers I'm more broad-based right but it's still the target market that I'm looking for and
that's that's kind of the thing so it's important to have that a couple examples and this one this I would recommend that you uh you pause this video and write this down um this was something that I thought was really cool it's called the one one sentence persuasion I can't remember off top my head it was the guy that wrote this but it says that people will do anything for those who encourage their dreams justify their failures Ally their fears confirm their suspicions and help them throw rocks at their enemies so if you're uh decent
at writing like I'm not a super good writer but I don't mind talking in videos and things like that so I can kind of convey these same things better in a video and then maybe I'll get them transcribed but on your copy in a lot of cases you know you would write like if I had this is my structure of my uh you know kind of my bullet paragraph let's say I would say um you know something along the lines of encourage their dreams have you uh are you this are you still the type of
person who believes in residual income and living on the beach Counting Clouds and drinking pina coladas and then I would go into justifying your failure their failures but maybe you've been you've been taught you have been taught so I'm uh uh you know I you've been taught outdated uh training things or something like that that uh has has eluded your success because in this you know so you're justifying your ability I'm sorry I apologize for how I'm babbling that one out there but you justify their failure by agreeing with them I I understand it wasn't
your fault it's not your fault okay Ally they're fears um I I have felt the same way okay it's not you you know it's not you it's me kind of thing confirm their suspicion and then here's the thing is you know and a lot of times you'll see some of these ads for especially network marketing you know like the 10 Secrets your network your upline is not giving you so you're holding you down kind of thing and people people that are struggling will go oh you know that's definitely why I'm bailing so if they use
this psychology to kind of pull them on board okay let me show you just a couple examples now in one of the one of the landing pages I use to you know to get people um to opt in for my webinars is a very top one is I call out my audience right I give I make a big promise 10 to 20 leads for Network marketers I mean I just it's blatant right there the very very top where it says attention again Network marketers Next Level right my call to action is very clear on the
right there yes I want access now and then in the bottom there you'll see underneath the video I say stop them at us I said do you really think you make big money network marketing by just making a list of friends and family that's something that we've all been taught since the birth of network marketing and that's true and you can and I have but at some point you run out of that small circle of influence okay so I basically use that psychology in the previous thing I've said to call them out in something they're
already doing but by putting a question mark at the end I made them doubt that that that issue and reasonably so because you know for good reason because you have to be able to figure out ways to generate leads as far as social proof goes I personally love pictures I'm just I myself I'm a visual guy and I'm you know you'll notice that on this one page this is kind of the second section of that page that I have I added some social proof images things where I'm doing lifestyle things I'm tapping into the dream
machine cruises trips Awards credibility influence things like that all in the same these images do that right and then credibility a lot of times I go here and about me very short very you know simple straight to the point that kind of thing another image with you know the kind of the dream machine car and the bottom Circle you're going to notice that I also put down here um a lot of times I've noticed that when I run ads or I drive traffic to specific Pages if there are people that don't know who I am
I try to make it as easy as possible to go search me out that's why I have hyperlinks like the Facebook and YouTube thing right there at the bottom if they click on it takes them right to my Facebook page if they click on the YouTube takes them right to the YouTube channel and by doing that it allows them to go learn more about me you know I build up my YouTube channel which is what I recommend you know that you do I built these things up so that they're they're assets that kind of back
up what I'm saying that I have credibility there's people that have commented on my stuff you know and so that's kind of adds to the kind of the nutshell of what I'm doing okay so anyhow all that being said I just thought it was you know I needed to get a little bit out there there's lots of like if you you know like I I offer a lot of the um uh the things that I've got the funnels that I'm offering for free that you can download a lot of them are already pre-structured so you'll
know exactly where your big headline goes you know where your tagline goes where your head you know you're uh your about you page goes and stuff like that so it's really easy you just kind of tweak what your you know what your offer is put that information in there and you're up and running in no time so anyhow see you on any other videos thanks
