dear heavenly father so often I find myself growing impatient wanting things to happen in my time on my terms but Lord I know that your ways are higher than my ways and your plans are far greater than anything I can imagine help me to quiet my Restless Heart and wait patiently for your perfect will to unfold in my life teach me to trust in your process and to remember that in the Stillness you are working behind the scenes teach me to be content in the waiting knowing that you are shaping me into the person you
have called me to be let my heart be at peace recognizing that waiting is not a delay but a part of your divine plan for me your word Lord tells me in Psalm 37:7 to be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him fret not yourself over the one who prosp was in his way over the man who carries out evil devices father how often do I look around and feel discouraged when I see others advancing or receiving what I long for in those moments I can feel overwhelmed wondering why it seems that I'm
left behind but your word tells me to be still and wait on you trusting that you see my heart and my needs help me Lord to not compare my journey to others instead let me rest in the assurance that you are a God who sees all things and knows exactly what is best for me as I wait may your Holy Spirit flood my soul with peace replacing every anxious thought with a quiet confidence in you let me trust that in my waiting you are working out every detail and that you are faithful to deliver me
in my time of need may I become a person who Waits not with worry but with a deep unshakable faith in your goodness Lord Jesus your word also says in Psalm 25:3 indeed none who wait for you shall be put to shame they shall be ashamed who are wanly treacherous I take comfort in knowing that those who trust in you those who patiently wait on you will never experience shame you will not fail us you will not let us down no matter how long I have to wait I know that you will come through and
you will be glorified in the end father waiting is hard and sometimes I'm tempted to take matters into my own hands I find myself wanting to force things to happen thinking that maybe I can fix things faster but you remind me that when I do that I'm only delaying the fullness of what you have planned so Lord teach me to let go of my need for control give me a spirit that is patient and long-suffering willing to endure the waiting with Grace help me to understand that when my situation seems to be moving slowly it
may be because you are working Within Me preparing me for the blessings to come let me trust that you are always doing something even in the silence and Stillness help me Lord Jesus to understand that waiting is not wasted time often you use these periods of waiting to refine me to remove from me the things that do not reflect your character sometimes I have have to wait because you want to purge my heart to cleanse me of Pride impatience or doubt sometimes the waiting is a time for growth for learning to rely on you more
deeply for growing in faith you are preparing me Lord for something greater and I trust that what you have in store is worth the wait whatever your will is for me I surrender to it even when it's hard even when I don't understand I choose to trust in your plan and as I wait Lord keep my eyes fixed on you don't let me be distracted by the noise of this world or the discouraging thoughts that try to creep in instead let my heart stay focused on you expecting good things because I know you are a
good God who loves me and has the best in store for me I believe that in your perfect timing you will come through for me in a way that will amaze me Lord Jesus if you have placed me in a season of waiting I ask that you help my heart to be in the right place waiting is hard but I know that the posture of my heart matters during this time I don't want to wait with a spirit of bitterness or frustration I don't want to be someone who complains or doubts your faithfulness instead help
me to trust you fully without murmuring or grumbling let my heart be deeply rooted in your word holding on to the promises you have given me as I wait let my faith grow stronger not weaker may I remember that every day of waiting is another day where you are shaping me preparing me and drawing me closer to you if you have placed me in this season to teach me something about myself or to reveal something that needs to change I open my heart to you Lord do your work in me and let your will be
done and if this wait is meant to grow my faith or my maturity then let it be so I trust that you are growing me into the person you want me to be and I surrender to your process father I ask for your grace to wait with hope and expectation believing that you are at work even when I don't see the full picture give me a heart that is steadfast in faith unwavering in trust so that even when my breakthrough does doesn't come as quickly as I had hoped I will not grow discouraged I know
that your timing is perfect and when you do move it will be at the right time in the right way help me to hold on to that truth even in moments when I feel weary let my faith remain strong knowing that you will never fail me I believe that you are faithful and that you will come through for me in ways that will show your glory and power Micah 7:7 says but as for me I will look to the Lord I will wait for the god of my salvation my God will hear me Lord Give
Me A Heart That is humble faithful and filled with hope let my spirit always believe that you hear me when I call no matter what the world says no matter what lies the enemy tries to whisper I will stand firm in my faith knowing that you are the god of my salvation I declare that I will wait for you Lord because I know that you are listening even when discouragement tries to creep in or when I feel surrounded by doubts I will not be shaken I trust that my God will hear me and answer me
