[Peter] Drgon Ball Super took the level of power to another level, but we still haven't forgotten everything that happened in Drgon Ball Z, the classic, the classic for us is Drgon Ball Z. Who doesn't remember the Genki Dama, the epic fights against Frieza, Cell, Majin Buu? Just cool stuff.
At that time, everyone was always outdoing themselves in demonstrations of strength and today we're going to talk about these and other absurd feats! Let's go! Hey Nerd, what's up?
Peter here! Damn, guys, now it's strength, strength huh! It gets to be bizarre when we stop to analyze how the characters became more powerful between the end of the classic Drgon Ball and the arrival of Drgon Ball Z, it's an absurd power up, right.
When aliens, saiyans, all kinds of strange people started to appear, the powers were completely out of line with what was expected and you always had someone giving an absurd display of strength. This always happened, it was normal. There were several throughout the anime, it's even hard to remember, but I separated for you some that really impressed me when I saw it.
Boy, and my eyesight is good, huh! Come on. [Vegeta Training] Nowadays, with Drgon Ball Super, where we literally have gods teaching guys how to fight, a lot of people don't remember how things were back then.
You might be: "wow, what was it like? " and such, because you got used to what it is today, you know, only epic, gigantic things. There was a time when a very effective form of training was to do everything with an increased level of gravity!
You wanted to train the guy, for the guy to have a nice training, increase gravity, but put gravity on the guy, the guy will lift his leg, you have to do tons on the leg. But why do they do it? Because some planets, like King Kai's, gravity is stronger than on Earth, so you end up exerting more effort and getting stronger as a result.
Soon this gravity thing also got a lot more absurd, with Goku even training in a Capsule Corporation machine that increased Earth's gravity by 100 times. Except that, incredible as it may seem, the champion in this style of training is Vegeta, who has always had access to Capsule Corporation's cutting-edge technology because he is married to Bulma. Bulma is Tony Stark from Drgon Ball!
He even trained with gravity up to 500 times, but ended up getting injured. Fuck, 500 times, boy, boy. .
. So he rarely went above 400, 450 times, which is insane. Imagine that his weight under these conditions is 450 times greater than normal.
There was a time when Yamcha tried to train in 300 gravity and he couldn't even stand up, it's really absurd. I'm going to tell you, if I pick you up now, I put a 100 gravity, man, you won't even open your eye, the eyelid gets heavy, you won't lift anything, not even a fingernail. Well, although the nail we don't lift, but it's complicated!
The planet with the highest gravity is usually there in 10 times Earth's gravity, so the guys really pushed beyond any limits, it was impressive. [Piccolo and the Moon] Right at the beginning of Drgon Ball Z, a long time ago, we have Goku's first death, in the fight against Raditz, and everyone has a year to prepare for the arrival of the Saiyans. At that time, little Gohan, who was very strong, but very spoiled, is trained by Piccolo, who throws him to survive alone in the middle of the jungle.
"Piccolo, Mister Piccolo", he felt sorry for him with that little voice, right? While the kid is there, eating the bread that the devil kneaded, a full moon rolls around, and then you've seen it, right? Gohan, who still had a tail, looks at that moon and turns into Oozaru, and then it's up to Piccolo to fix it before Gohan destroys everything.
Gee, he turns into a Bijuu with 10 tails, 10 tails, hell, a Bijuu with 100 tails. He blows up the moon. Piccolo does what I told you, the Moon explodes, no more Moon.
That simple. The guy is here on Earth, he fires a blast of energy, and the Moon just pulverizes like a balloon full of air. This is also enough for Gohan to return to normal form, unconscious, and Piccolo also takes the opportunity to rip off Gohan's tail, to make sure this problem doesn't happen again.
So far, beauty, Goku himself no longer had a tail, but did he need to destroy the Moon? Boy, how is our moonless night? And seriously, was it that simple?
That was the height of ignorance and we're talking about Piccolo, who was surpassed in power a long time ago. Destroying the Moon is complicated, hey boy, I've tried it and it doesn't work. Even after a redemption arc, Vegeta is consumed by his own pride in the Majin Buu saga and lets himself be manipulated by Babidi, in what many people call Majin Vegeta.
He did that to be able to fight Goku again and it is precisely this fight that ends up allowing Majin Buu to be revived. When that happens, the situation becomes too critical and Vegeta realizes he made a mistake. As a way of repairing this, he sacrifices himself to try to kill Majin Buu before he does even more damage, and the solution he finds for this is a suicide attack where he releases all the ki at once, pulverizing his own body.
it and everything else around it. This scene is nothing short of impressive, it sweeps the entire place where the battle is taking place, there's nothing left standing, and even then that's not enough to kill Majin Buu. Except that the explosion caused by Vegeta with all his ki remains one of the most spectacular in the entire series, counting up to Drgon Ball Super.
Seriously, that's absurd. Before that, we also have another epic explosion, which happened in the final fight against Cell. Everyone remembers that he was a villain who was getting more powerful and perfecting his own form as he absorbed the androids, and he was already in his most perfect form, but Gohan managed to defeat Cell.
But before that, it goes back to a more primitive phase and swells up, turning into a huge acorn, which will self-destruct. And if it explodes, it could take the entire Earth with it. Yes, our planet.
To save the planet, Goku manages to think very quickly and teleports himself and Cell out of the Earth, so that the explosion does not cause any damage. The problem is that they end up on the small planet where Mr Kaio lives, where Mr Kaio is calm, along with Bubbles the monkey and Gregory the cricket. Sure enough, Cell explodes and pulverizes Kaio's planet, just as he would Earth if he were still there.
Remembering that Mr Kaio's planet is dozens of times denser than Earth's, so he didn't take just one little planet Earth, he took several planets Earth. In this game, everyone ends up dying, Kaio, Bubbles, Gregory and even Goku, who was right next door when Cell ended up exploding, killing everyone. It would be great if it all ended there, but Cell didn't die in that explosion and because of the memory in his DNA, he still managed to return in perfect shape, the strongest of all.
If in that form he wasn't perfect, how would he be afterwards, and destroyed dozens of Earth planets, because it was the density of Lord Kaio's planet, imagine later, right? Gohan, Vegeta and everyone else left on Earth still had to deal with Cell back on Earth, with the right to kill Future Trunks in front of Vegeta, who goes crazy seeing that. In the end, this turned out to be one of Drgon Ball Z's tightest victories against a villain, with Gohan winning with practically one arm and a good incentive from Goku from the other world.
Even so, Cell gave a huge proof of how powerful he was, even though Lord Kaio's planet wasn't the only one to be blown up. . .
[Freeza] In Drgon Ball Super, we have Moro, the Death Eater. Planets. And I dare say that if this title wasn't his, it would have to be Frieza, the most sadistic villain in Drgon Ball, he's not just from Drgon Ball z, all of Drgon Ball, and also responsible for some of the greatest demonstrations of strength in Drgon Ball.
Yes, Frieza. [Frieza laughs] We have to remember that he was responsible for the destruction of Planet Vegeta, which annihilated practically all Saiyans when Goku and Vegeta were still children. He had the entire army of Saiyans against him, including Bardock, Goku's father, and with just one ball of energy, he managed to blow up the planet, he didn't even need to make an effort, in what became one of the most classic scenes in the entire anime.
And this would not be the only planet destroyed by Frieza, who was also responsible for the destruction of Namek, in the fight against Goku. And that just wasn't any easier because he had already been yelled at by Super Saiyan Goku, he was weakened, all hurt, and the planet ended up taking longer to explode. But seriously, the guy used to destroy planets around, decimate entire races, and had an empire that stretched across almost the entire galaxy.
Can you imagine how absurdly strong this is? [Human extinction] But as it couldn't be otherwise, Earth's turn has also come. We managed to escape destruction by Freeza, by Cell, and later even by Bills, the God of Destruction, but Majin Buu was a successful villain in this task of turning our little house into dust.
He looked at Earth and said "no more Earth", right? And he still did it with refinements of cruelty. When he reaches his second form, the now thinner and totally evil Boo, or Super Boo, he keeps looking for the strongest warriors to face and ends up on the Sky Platform, where Kami-Sama lives.
There, Goten and Trunks are still trying to learn the Fusion dance, but Boo is impatient and wants to kill all of humanity. He even waits a bit, but loses patience, and right there on top of the platform he launches a rain of attacks that simply kill everyone on the planet that is not on the platform, everyone there outside the platform. The guy ended the human race and a little further on, when he becomes Kid Boo, the final and most brutal form yet, he destroys the Earth with a single blow.
There are only those left who Kibitoshin manages to save with teleportation. Fortunately, they manage to use the Drgon Balls from Namek to revive everyone and recreate Earth, but doing what Majin Buu did is one of the most impressive things in terms of power and strength in Drgon Ball Z. harder than destroying a planet?
Destroy Majin Buu. Seriously, many people have tried and even thought they had already succeeded, but Boo can be transformed into particles, literally shattered, and reform his own body. The only way to finish him off is to literally obliterate, pulverizing every particle in Majin Buu's body, and apparently, the only way to do that is to use a classic Drgon Ball Z technique, the Genki Dama.
In this technique, Goku manages to gather a gigantic ball of energy, but it doesn't depend on him alone. In the case of the Genki Dama that was used to kill Majin Buu, it was necessary for Lord Kaio to open a communication channel with Earth via telepathy, where Mr Satan, who everyone knows is Earth's greatest hero, had to ask every living citizen on the planet to raise their hands to donate some of their own energy to Goku's Genki Dama. I even get goosebumps, what a cool moment, what a cool moment!
You raised your hand too. In fact, Goku himself asked, Vegeta, with all that delicacy and politeness of his, also asked, but the people really only trusted Mr Satan. When he asked, everyone raised their hands and Goku gained a lot, a lot of energy.
Boy, I get emotional when I remember that, amazing how it moves me to this day. That was how he managed to really finish off Boo once and for all, without giving him a chance to regenerate. Despite not having destroyed the Kaioshin's planet, where they were, this was probably the largest amount of energy used in Drgon Ball Z at once, literally the energy, the ki, of all the inhabitants of the Earth being thrown at the top of the planet.
Kid Boo. Impressive is not enough to explain the size of this blow they had to use to save the universe. I'll tell you, why do we get emotional when we say this kind of thing?
Because we remember the moment, we remember what it represented. You can say whatever you want about Drgon Ball, but those moments that stir the emotion of each one are few anime that do that, they are few, ok, not all of them. It even has, but Drgon Ball did it in an impressive way, I'm even stuttering, I really got emotional.
But surely you remember more epic demonstrations of strength in Drgon Ball Z, in the classic and even in Drgon Ball Super, will we be back to make another video? I'm looking at the comments here, huh! COMMENNNT!
