In the fifth part of the series about the millennial Kingdom, we went to the New Testament in order to better understand Yahusha and what the Yahudim (the Jews) were waiting for and expecting. After getting this far within the series, when we go back and read the New Testament, now that we have a stronger understanding of the Old Testament, we should have more clarity, and much more understanding should be brought together when understanding our Father and His will for us. The reason why people are so confused about the last days is that they don't go back and study the scriptures in full, but many of them, sadly and proudly, feel that they understand.
In the end, they are only deceiving themselves. As we continue on with the series, what we're going to do is continue to discuss the end times as we make our way to understand the millennial Kingdom. When we discuss this topic about the end times, the Great Tribulation, and particularly the millennial Kingdom, it's easy for people to just go back to the Book of Revelation, read the last two or three chapters, and feel that they have an understanding of what is to come.
But if you understood the information from the first four parts in this series, this understanding of Yah's Kingdom is not just something that is spoken of at the end of the Bible; it is something that is a consistent theme in the scriptures throughout the many different books and accounts of Yasharel. Those that were descendants of Yasharel have had nothing but expectations of Yah's coming Kingdom, and they were living in expectation of it. They anticipated it, but their understanding of the Kingdom was not fully understood at that time because when the Messiah came unto them, they were expecting Him to come and immediately take the throne.
But this was not what Yahweh intended yet. So from the last part, part five, you hopefully now understand how Yasharel expected the Kingdom of Yahweh to come and what their expectations were. But we now need to review how Yahusha, the Messiah, the Redeemer, the Savior of the world, through whom all who come to Him in sincerity and truth are now able to be partakers in the promises of Abraham.
We now must understand the Kingdom through His ministry, both by His words and by what His disciples and the others that interacted with Him have said. We are handling this subject with care so that everyone that sincerely seeks Yahweh in these last days has a proper biblical understanding, away from the mainstream view that tells people that they are just waiting to go to heaven. I want everyone to have a resource that they can always go back to and study from when trying to understand the last days and our promises.
We are going to continue to understand Yah's Kingdom, and in this part of the series, we're going to do this through understanding it from the perspective of the Messiah who was sent and from the people who interacted with Him and expected the fulfillment of these Kingdom prophecies to be fulfilled. Let's begin. Okay, so when we last left off, we left the Messiah in the beginning of His ministry, speaking with the Samaritans.
This group of people were the descendants of Yasharel that were hated by the Yahudim because they intermingled with the other nations, but they still were of the lost sheep of Israel. The Messiah came to them, and these people were excited about meeting the Messiah. The Messiah, of course, understood the importance of Yah's Kingdom.
This is why, in His Sermon on the Mount, He told us that when we pray to Yahweh, we are to always pray for His Kingdom to come. Listen to how He told us to start: "In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your Name; Your Kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. " (Matthew 6:9-10).
He says, "Your Kingdom come. " You see, this is what we're all waiting for. When you pray to Yahweh, are you praying for His Kingdom to come?
If not, align yourself to His true will. We are His servants preparing His Kingdom in prayer. After you acknowledge and call out to Him, make sure you put His will and His Kingdom first.
In this part, Yahusha is showing us submission. We are preparing His Kingdom, and we submit to His will. Now, let's look at it again from the perspective of the Yahudim.
They were not expecting the Messiah to be Ha-Yahusha, one who spoke in parables and did not walk with a physical sword. They expected Him to be the next king of Yasharel who was going to fulfill all the prophecies that they had been foretold by the prophets. This is why what we call the Old Testament is so important.
The full viewpoint and expectation that the Yahudim had was not yet fulfilled, but they all lived during that time with excitement and expectation because they knew and understood the prophecy. Most people today do not understand the Kingdom because they ignore the Old Testament, and so their view of the end times is skewed. They don't even truly understand what it is they have a desire and expectation for.
If you don't realize how much the children of Yasharel expected a king, read it for yourself. It's a detail that you might gloss over when reading the Gospels. When you add this knowledge that you now have about the expectation for the Kingdom of Yah and the prophecies given, you can understand better what you're reading.
After these things, Yahusha went over the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias. Then a great multitude followed Him because they saw His signs which He. .
. Performed on those who were diseased, Yahusha went up on the mountain, and there he sat with his disciples. Now the Passover, a feast of the Jews, was near.
Then Yahusha lifted up his eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward him, he said to Philip, "Where shall we buy bread that these may eat? " But this he said to test him, for he himself knew what he would do. Philip answered him, "200 dinari worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.
" One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to him, "There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many? " Then Yahusha said, "Make the people sit down. " Now there was much grass in the place, so the men sat down in number about 5,000.
Yahusha took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down, and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. So when they were filled, he said to his disciples, "Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost. " Therefore, they gathered them up and filled 12 baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten.
Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Yah did, said, "This is truly the Prophet who has come into the world. " Yahusha perceived that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king; he departed again to the mountain by himself alone. This is John 6:1-15.
You see, after Yahusha performed this miracle, the multitude was convinced that he was the one sent into the world to fulfill the prophecy. If you read verse 15, it said Yahusha perceived their intentions of making him king, so he withdrew from everyone and went to the mountain. In the other gospel accounts of this event, it says he went to the mountains to pray.
Matthew 14:23 says, "And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up on the mountain by himself to pray. " You see, the people were looking to him to be their next leader; they wanted him to be the next Moses or the next King David. They wanted him to redeem them in the way they expected the prophecy to be fulfilled, but this was not yet the Father's plan.
With the love Yahusha had for his people, the temptation must have been great for him to take the kingdom now and redeem the people; this is what the people were looking for. He perceived that they wanted to make him king, and because of this, we see him withdrawing from everyone and going to pray privately. People were looking for him to move outside of the purpose he was intended for at that time.
He went, and then he prayed. After he withdrew, he came back with more power. He walked on water; he was walking in power, proving without a shadow of a doubt who he was.
If you also remember in John chapter 7, when Yahusha went to the Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem and was speaking in the temple, there was much inquiry of him. When he spoke, the people marveled. The Scriptures say, "Therefore many from the crowd, when they heard this saying, said, 'Truly, this is the Prophet.
' Others said, 'This is the Messiah,' but some said, 'Will the Messiah come out of Galilee? Has not the Scripture said that the Messiah comes from the seed of David and from the town of Bethlehem where David was? '" So there was a division among the people because of him.
Now some of them wanted to take him, but no one laid hands on him. Then the officers came to the chief priests and Pharisees, who said to them, "Why have you not brought him? " The officers answered, "No man ever spoke like this man!
" Then the Pharisees answered them, "Are you also deceived? Have any of the rulers or the Pharisees believed in him? But this crowd that does not know the law is accursed.
" Nicodemus, he who came to Yahusha by night, being one of them, said to them, "Does our law judge a man before it hears him and knows what he is doing? " They answered and said to him, "Are you also from Galilee? Search and look, for no prophet has arisen out of Galilee.
" And everyone went to his own house, but Yahusha went to the Mount of Olives. John 7:40 through John 8:1. Again, I use this to show that this was what was going through the minds of the Yahudim in Jerusalem.
You see, when we understand our Messiah, we sometimes understand him from how we have heard about him over time—through religious doctrine, through the stories told in church. But a problem that we have is that we do not learn about him through how he was foretold of through the word. Our perspectives are off, and therefore our understanding and expectations of him can be skewed and centered around what we want him to be for us and not who he truly is and what he came to do.
When the Yahudim were expecting the Messiah, what they received, they were not ready for, and many did not understand, and therefore they missed him. Some even participated in having him crucified. Today, as we are told about the Messiah, many people still are not ready to receive him because they do not tie their will to his, and they wrongly look for him to fulfill what they desire and not to do what Yah has truly prophesied to do.
Let's keep going. Matthew 2 is a very big point in Scripture that speaks on Yah's coming Kingdom. The disciples.
. . Sat with Yahusha and wanted to know what would be the sign of His coming and the reign of the Kingdom.
What many do with this chapter is just attach it to the end times prophecy and review it from the bad that He warned of and spoke of. But when we understand it from the point of view of those He was speaking to, we can gather more clarity on what Yahusha is truly saying. I hope the main thing that is being clarified to all watching this is the point of view from which you must read and understand the scriptures.
If you learn these things from the point of view of the Gentiles who hijack the scriptures and the authority of them, you may be led down the wrong path. You must understand the scriptures from the point of view of Yasharel, because this is the only people that Yahua and Yahusha dealt with and prophesied to. Now that we understand what the Israelites were expecting, we can gain more clarity and understanding of what Yahusha is prophesying—not just giving a view in reference to the end times.
It’s time that we are now Kingdom-minded. Let’s read now: as Yahusha sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age? ” And Yahusha answered and said to them, “Take heed that no one deceives you, for many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.
And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled, for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, and betray one another, and will hate one another.
Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
And this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Therefore, when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing in the holy place—whoever reads, let him understand—then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house, and let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes.
But woe to those who are pregnant, and to those who are nursing babies in those days! And pray that your flight may not be in the winter or on the Sabbath, for then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake, those days will be shortened.
Then, if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah! ’ or ‘There! ’ do not believe it.
For false messiahs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand. Therefore, if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!
’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms! ’ do not believe it. ” (Matthew 24:3-26) You see, now the first thing Yahusha tells them is to not be deceived: “Take heed that no one deceives you.
” This is something that, as believers, we all must have in our awareness. The unfortunate thing is that much of the churchgoing public today does not walk in an awareness of not being deceived. We are still trusting many that are actually deceiving us.
This was Yahusha’s first instruction, and we ignore it. He breaks down the times into three parts. In verse 6, He says the end is not yet, so just because these things happen doesn’t mean His kingdom has come.
Then the second part is that all these things are the beginning of sorrows, found in verse 8. See, sorrows mean birth pangs. Birth pangs are like labor pains.
Yahusha is so wonderful because when you really understand what He’s trying to say, things become much clearer. As a woman is in labor, her labor pains start a few in between, but as the baby gets closer to being delivered, the labor pains increase in intensity. As the Messiah’s Kingdom gets closer to coming to pass, the sorrows or labor pains will increase in intensity and frequency until Yahusha returns in His glory.
The last part is found in verse 14, which is, “Then the end will come. ” In the first part, He tells us that we will hear of wars and rumors of wars. Many like to use this to explain the current times that we’re in, but that’s not necessarily true.
Over time, since the destruction of Jerusalem, there have been wars and rumors of wars. This is just something that He has told us would happen. He has told us to see that we’re not troubled, because though these things have come to pass, the end is not yet.
The labor pains of His coming Kingdom include nation rising against nation, kingdom rising against kingdom, and there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. Again, because so many of these things are. .
. Happening right now, people believe that we're in the end times, and of course rightfully so. But what's important to understand is that it's not that these things are happening right now that makes it the end times; it's the frequency and the intensity.
These things have been happening for a long time in history. This is one reason why people reject that we're in the end times today—because many people thought that when these wars and nations and kingdoms were rising against each other throughout history, that all this happened in the past. People like to say that because those events happened, many also thought it was the end of the age, but they were wrong.
So it's probably the same with us today. That's why His full words are so important to understand, because it's not just that these things are happening, but it's the frequency and intensity with which they are occurring. It's about the labor pains.
You see, if your wife is in labor, she will have contractions. What the doctor won't tell you is delivery time until those birth pains and contractions are more frequent and more intense. So this is the reason why we understand that we're in the end times—because of the intensity of the labor pains.
Again, understand that what is being delivered is the Kingdom of Elohim: Messiah's one-thousand-year reign on Earth. Messiah said the end will not come until the gospel is preached in all the world and witnessed to all nations. We see this happening more clearly now because of the Internet; this ministry, among many others, is having a real reach around the world.
The good news is being delivered and will continue to be delivered until the end has come, and the devil cannot stop it. So don't give Satan too much credit and allow him to block your ministry. If the Father has a word for you to deliver to the world, it has to be given, and the devil cannot stop it.
Let's keep reading: "For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For wherever the carcass is, there the vultures will be gathered together. Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light.
The stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn; and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
" That's Matthew 24:27–31. You see, this whole chapter is dealing with what the times will look like when His prophecy is being fulfilled. This is the time right before the Millennial Kingdom.
He says this is immediately after the tribulation; He will gather His elect from heaven, and they will come down with Him. You see, when we read the Book of Revelation, we should know that this refers to the Tribulation Saints—those that die during the tribulation. Let's keep reading, though.
While He was gone, Yahusha continued teaching, saying, "Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in Yahweh; believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know. " Thomas said to Him, "Adonai, we do not know where You're going; how can we know the way?
" Yahusha said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. " This is John 14:1–6.
So let's cover that right there. Yahusha told us to believe in Him. He's going to prepare a place for us.
First off, this is extremely comforting to know. He didn't leave us wondering if He would be coming back to take care of us; He told us He was preparing a place for us. So I'm happy and excited for it.
Also, when reading this, don't mistake "mansions" for the multi-million-dollar mansions of the elite today. A proper translation from "mansion" would be "a dwelling place," a permanent secure place for us to dwell when we are with Him. Could they be huge mansions?
Maybe, or maybe not. I know many of us like to say, "I may not have a mansion on Earth, but I will get a mansion in heaven. " The problem with this is that the mansion is not in heaven.
I bring this scripture up because it brings confusion for people. Understand that when this part is fulfilled, it is the same time when we see Yah bring down a new heaven and a new earth. This is what Yahusha is preparing for us, and this does not come at the Millennial Kingdom according to Revelation 20 and 21, but right after the Millennial reign—after Judgment Day.
It's important to understand this and not get confused by it. Many people skip the Millennial reign and jump to the new heaven and new earth. When this is done, you are missing a great deal of prophecy and events most people just skip, saying, "Everything that's happening— we're waiting for the new heaven and new earth.
" But you’re skipping a thousand-year reign of Messiah. But let's keep going in regards to what Messiah. .
. Is saying, "What's important is that he is preparing a place for us to all dwell with him. He says he will come again and receive us.
It's important you never forget he is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through him. So if someone presents another way to make it to our Father without him, they are taking you to Satan.
" I'm going to go over two more situations and then close this portion. Let's continue. Then they led Yahusha from Caiaphas to Praetorium.
It was early morning, but they themselves did not go into Praetorium, lest they should be defiled but that they may eat the Passover. Pilate then went out to them and said, "What accusation do you bring against this man? " They answered and said to him, "If he were not an evildoer, we would not have delivered him up to you.
" Then Pilate said to them, "You take him and judge him according to your law. " Therefore the Jews said to him, "It is not lawful for us to put anyone to death," that the saying of Yahusha might be fulfilled, which he spoke, signifying by what death he would die. Then Pilate entered the Praetorium again, called Yahusha, and said to him, "Are you the King of the Jews?
" Yahusha answered him, "Are you speaking for yourself about this, or did others tell you this concerning me? " Pilate answered, "Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered you to me.
What have you done? " Yahusha answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would fight so that I should not be delivered to the Jews.
But now my kingdom is not from here. " Pilate therefore said to him, "Are you a king then? " Yahusha answered, "You say rightly that I am a king.
For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears my voice. " (That's John 18:28-38).
Let's continue. When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Yahusha out and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the pavement, but in Hebrew, Gabbatha. Now it was the preparation day of the Passover, and about the sixth hour.
He said to the Yahudim, "Behold your king! " But they cried out, "Away with him! Away with him!
Crucify him! " Pilate said to them, "Shall I crucify your king? " The chief priests answered, "We have no king but Caesar!
" Then he delivered him to them to be crucified. So they took Yahusha and led him away. (John 19:5-16).
That statement by the Yahudim really showed how far Yasharel strayed away from Yahweh, and I think it should be noted. Pilate said, "Shall I crucify your king? " The chief priests answered, "We have no king but Caesar.
" They proclaimed a heathen emperor over the king that the Most High sent for them, and this is why the Yahudim were cursed so severely. So at this point, Yahusha was crucified, but three days later he resurrected and presented himself to his followers. Let's see now.
Behold, two of them were traveling that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was seven miles from Jerusalem, and they talked together of all these things which had happened. So it was, while they conversed and reasoned, that Yahusha himself drew near and went with them. But their eyes were restrained, so they did not know him.
He said to them, "What kind of conversation is this that you have with one another as you walk and are sad? " Then the one whose name was Cleopas answered and said to him, "Are you the only stranger in Jerusalem, and have you not known the things which happened there in these days? " He said to them, "What things?
" So they said to him, "The things concerning Yahusha of Nazareth, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before Elohim and all the people, and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death and crucified him. But we were hoping that it was he who was going to redeem Yasharel. " (That's Luke 24:13-49).
Do you see this? If you do not understand the importance of this, you do not understand what awaits us as these end-time prophecies unfold. Today, they were hoping that he was going to redeem Yasharel—all those prophecies that I spoke about earlier, the prophecies of rejoining Judah and Israel and restoring the kingdom.
This was exactly what those who followed the Messiah were expecting for him to do. But do you know that people today who follow modern-day Israel as a nation believe that this prophecy was already fulfilled? So if this part of the prophecy was fulfilled, who do you think the king that will reign over this kingdom will be?
So what preparations are actually being made right now to build the Third Temple? There are actually quite a few, and it just shows that God is giving the Jewish people signs or an expectation that it's time for the soon-coming Messiah. Scholars that I've spoken to talk about how the building of this next temple is really going to bring peace to Israel and to bring safety from all her enemies.
In that way, I can see that maybe any leader who would be raised up or someone who could bring the nations together, especially those who might align with Israel, there might be some agreement that the temple could exist there and that this person could be set up in the temple. You see, it's important to understand who you believe is fulfilling these prophecies. And who you assign to these prophecies?
Because when you follow the mainstream agenda, you are being led right into the arms of the Beast, and this will not end until you have accepted his Mark. But in real prophecy, Yahusha is going to redeem Yasharel and bring them back from where He scattered them in the world. It's important that if you truly love the God of Yasharel, Yahweh, you truly attach to His will and remove these fleshly influences that make you sum this up by skin color.
We are moving to the restoration of Yasharel; this is the prophecy that we are walking into fulfillment of. This is the kingdom come that we are waiting for. Let's keep reading; we will see what happened when Yahusha left and ascended.
And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which He said, "You have heard from me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now. " Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, "Will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel? " And He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority; but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
" Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Yahusha, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.
" (Acts 1:4-11) I showed this earlier; even the apostles who walked with the Messiah directly were expecting Him to restore the kingdom of Yasharel, but it was not at this time. But the angels left them with the promise of what is to come, and we will end with this understanding of the promise to come from the point in time when the Messiah walked the earth. This is what He prepared us for; this is what He taught us.
His ministry contains so much knowledge and understanding of how Yah truly desired us and how we were to be. He brought clarifications in the law and displayed that it's not just about following the commandments, but what's in our hearts as well. But He did not abolish the Torah; He came and fulfilled prophecy foretold of Him in order that we would all know that He was the Messiah sent to Yasharel, so that all can know with assurance that He is our Redeemer.
Yahweh gave all that prophecy before His coming as a huge puzzle that will later be put together so that we all saw His answer to the problem we have had since the sin of Adam. And now that we understand the solution, we believe in Him and accept Him; we can now be redeemed and accepted by Him. That is a wonderful thing.
People of all tribes, tongues, and nations can now be received by Yahweh if they come to Him through Yahusha, and this is the good news. But now that this is understood, being that the birth pangs are so strong and continuous, we know what is coming next. And it's up to us, who desire to be truly found in His kingdom, to understand the promise and be ready to be a part of it and be brought into it.
So in this part, you now understand what the feeling and understanding was of the Yahud who saw Yahusha personally. You understand their mindset and what they were expecting. But Hallelujah!
Do you remember how the Messiah said the first will be last and the last will be first? Praise Yah because you have been born and drawn to Him so that you can enter into this kingdom first. The kingdom that they were all preparing for is being made and prepared for you, and all of us are now being groomed and prepared to receive it.
So let's get rid of the negative thoughts about what is coming and focus on the promises that have been made for us. We will continue on in this series, going into what the future holds according to the Word. If you're a believer, you now should have a stronger understanding of what you believe in.
And next week, Yah willing, more of the understanding will be made clearer as we discuss the Great Tribulation. From this, you should feel ready and prepared; we are being called to our Redeemer to be ready for Him. So please let go of all that religious, man-made doctrine.
We are not following a religion; we are following our Savior, and we are being made ready and prepared for Him. Don't miss out on Him because you are tied to the world and not truly His. Do as He has told you and repent, for the kingdom of Elohim is at hand.
Be ready for it and be blessed! Hallelujah! Praise Yah!
