so you want to form an LLC in Florida there are two ways to do it you can form an LLC directly with the state or you can pay a third party to do it for you for an easier faster and simpler process I recommend Inc file you can follow along with me by clicking the link in the description below if you choose not to use ink file don't worry I will leave a link to Florida's Secretary of State website as well the questions are exactly the same so please choose one of them to follow along
this is the inquire website we're going to start here because it's the easiest fastest and best way to form an LLC in my opinion let's go ahead and click on start my business the first thing we're going to do is choose the entity type and in our case it's going to be LLC please ignore the rest of them for now we're going to scroll down to the State of Florida that's what we're working on today as you can see the state fee for filing an LLC in Florida is 125 which is the same cost as
the silver package so even if you choose not to get anything extra the minimum price you're going to have to pay no matter where you go is 125 dollars in the State of Florida however I really like the gold package let me tell you why the first thing I really like about ink file is the free year of registered agent Services you're going to have to put a registered agent anyway and if you want to stay Anonymous you might as well hire someone to do it ink file is a great option for this second they
will go ahead and get your EIN for you it saves you a bunch of time and headache of having to go to the IRS website and doing it on your own plus all the data is stored in a beautiful dashboard that you can log into on the ink file website and have everything right there ready to go that right there is worth it in and of itself let me tell you why the most important thing about this gold package is the online access dashboard when you're done filling out all of the information for your LLC
and your EIN all you have to do is log in Inc file and all of the data is right there you can literally come grab your articles of organization your EIN whenever you need to and you don't have to worry about losing it or misplacing it the peace of mind that comes from this is huge another reason I like the gold package is because of the Ein tax number they'll go ahead and get an EIN for your LLC for you so you can open up a business bank account immediately and not have to wait the
third reason is a free year of registered agent Services a registered agent is somebody that's there to accept mail on your behalf and you're gonna have to pay someone or you yourself as that person anyway so to have the opportunity to use Inc file as that person is incredible the last and final reason is Inc file will give you a mailing address if you need it I like to stay Anonymous and I use ink file's address every time I form an LLC this way I can move and I don't have to worry about changing my
company address all of these reasons right here make the gold package incredibly compelling you can upgrade to the Platinum package if you want to but the main difference there is just going to be speed when it comes to the filing time let's click the gold package and move forward the first thing that we need to do is fill out the information for the contact person now this is not the information for the business at all so feel free to put your address in here because this is for ink files record so they can send you
paperwork if they need to Great once your information is filled out let's scroll down and hit next we now get to choose our filing time honestly the state's pretty slow and it can take a while up to five weeks if you want this done faster and you are in a time crunch go ahead and pay the extra 50 bucks to get it done I'm not in a rush so I'm gonna hit the five week filing time and hit next we now need to input the information for the company itself where do you want the name
of the LLC to be we're going to start by typing vaniter Enterprise that's all we're going to put for now then we need to choose the designator you have a bunch of different options here you can choose limited liability company LLC or L.L dot C dot I personally like the shortest easiest and simplest one because there's less characters and it's easier to spell I'm going to choose loc pick whatever you want now we need to choose the number of members in my case it's just going to be a single member LLC it's just me if
there's more than one person you can select that option here and you'll get the opportunity to fill out their information as well but because it's just me we're only going to be putting information about myself the next box is the business purpose we're going to keep it short and sweet that's the secret type in something about your business that makes sense we're going to choose Educational Services and Consulting we're going to scroll down and get to the next box this is your naics code which is a numeric identifier for the industry that this LLC operates
in we're going to type in the word Consulting and see what kind of options we get we're going to scroll down to business management consulting services good enough for us please write down this naics code you're going to need it later when you go to open up a business bank let's scroll down to the company address information this is literally one of my favorite things about ink file and it's what has me hooked on using them almost every single time you can use your own address to open up an LLC there's nothing wrong with that
but you're not going to be anonymous anytime someone looks up your business in the State of Florida they're going to be able to see who owns the company and where the company is located that means they're going to have a direct line to your house one bad customer interaction and it's over that's why I really like anonymity so every single time I form an LLC I pay Inc file 29 a month to give me a business address this way I can move I can live anywhere in the world or the country and I know whenever
they get Mail they'll open it scan it email it to me and I won't miss a beat this is so totally worth it we're going to choose to use ink file as a virtual private mailing address and move on to the next screen the option here is for premium Business Services if any of these things interest you go ahead and opt in we're gonna pass on this opportunity for now on this next screen we need to input information about the members of the LLC obviously there's only one person in here so we're going to check
the box and have me now we have the op opportunity to use my address or the company address assigned by incfi we're going to use the company address assigned by ink file because I do not want my address to be public we're going to scroll down and make sure that I own 100 of the company and then we are going to hit next now we're at the registered agent information our registered agent is a person or business that can accept mail on your behalf during business hours Monday through Friday occasionally the government will need to
send you important stuff and they don't want to go hunt you down if you're on a beach in Bora Bora they want to be able to get you this mail and make sure that it gets to you so businesses especially LLCs are required to have registered agents you can be your own registered agent there's nothing wrong with that but if you are your own registered agent it will be displayed on your company information with the state of Florida so people will be able to figure out where you live and where to find you I personally
love anonymity in case you haven't already been able to tell so we're going to pay Inc file to be our registered agent for us they're going to pay for the first year that's part of the perk of this package but after that it's about 119 a year so it's not a ton of money we're going to choose Inc file and hit next we now have to fill fill in the information for the Ein and the taxpayer identification number if you chose the silver package you won't have this option you have to get your EIN on
your own but in our case ink file is going to get it for us so we're going to fill out our social security number and our personal information now last but not least we're going to use the physical address assigned by Inc file so we can stay Anonymous let's hit next wonderful setting up a small business banking I personally like to bank with local credit unions or online banks so I'm going to choose no but if Bank of America is your thing feel free to opt in on the next screen they're asking you if you
want a tax and strategy consultation this is my wheelhouse it's what I teach inside my accelerator so I'm going to opt out of this if you need help with that you can either DM me on Instagram join my accelerator I'm going to choose not interested and move on wonderful ink file has identified two business licenses that our business type will need in order to operate in California you have two choices you can get them on your own or you can pay ink file 100 bucks to gather them and send them to you totally up to
you choose whatever option you like I know exactly how to do this and I teach it inside my accelerator so I'm going to hit no and get them on my own wonderful we're at the last screen let's make make sure all of our information is correct very important that the state of formation is Florida and the entity type is LLC make sure your contact info is correct and then when we look at agent info make sure you've selected Inc file here on the company info make sure the company name is spelled exactly how you want
it to appear legally for the business purpose we have Educational Services and Consulting and ink file is going to provide us with a company address our naics code is 54 as well as 541611 write those down you're going to need them later make sure the member info is correct and the Ein info is correct as well then hit next you made it to the last screen all the payments are going to be broken down on the right as you can see 125 goes directly to the state that's non-negotiable anything extra is what you're paying Inc
file in my opinion it's totally worth it they deserve it they've made the process incredibly easy once you've paid and everything is complete you will be able to log into ink files dashboard once you log in on the left hand side you will see a place where you can look at your articles of organization as well as your EIN these are the two most important parts of forming an LLC those are the two things that you're going to need in order to go open up a business bank account which you can do by watching this
