welcome to this guided meditation to this exploration of the final archetypal Arc of the life cycle so as we just settle in I invite you to take a moment to fully arrive in presence in your body just leaving behind whatever distractions or thoughts from your D so far if it feels right you might close your eyes and just drop your awareness into the center of your being wherever that feels intuitively right to you for many people they find their Center in their solar plexus or their chest or maybe the belly but trust whatever feels most
right to you here and once you're there I invite you to join me in taking three deep breaths one [Music] two and three [Music] foreign a little deeper yet dropping dropping deeper into your body feeling your awareness your weight dropping down through your body like sand through a sand timer sinking all the way to your root starting with your head then dropping your awareness through your face your throat and neck your chest Your Heart Center down through your abdomen and belly feel it filling your pelvic Bowl waiting you down then draining into your hips your
thighs calves feet and grounding fully down into your root into the Earth beneath you and once you're here just take one more deep breath fully arriving in this space and this moment in time foreign [Music] all right now if you've chosen to join me in working with a candle or a fire then you may just blink your eyes open here and focus Softly on the flame and if not you may find it most helpful to just sit quietly with your eyes closed whatever puts you most in touch with your imagination and your ability to visualize
and now just allowing whatever wants to arise to arise watching with your inner eye your imagination and letting your subconscious tell you the story today perhaps what you see here at first is just darkness or perhaps there is a white mist and emerging from this Mist there is character perhaps this is someone who is already very familiar to you or perhaps it is someone brand new who you are getting to meet for the first time either way just take this moment to notice what you see what they look like how they come to you foreign
what do you see what does this character look like face their body their build what's their clothing [Music] how does it move on their body in response to their movements their body language maybe there's a breeze and how old is your sense of this person within the chronology of the life arcs the Mage as the final archetype maybe a very old character indeed but this archetype more than any other also offers a sort of timelessness and so this character may be represented as someone of literally any age [Music] and of course they may be any
gender or even represented by something that isn't human what do you see how does your character arrive here for you [Music] and now allow any perceptions of the setting to arise around your character
