welcome to IBJJF tutorials in this video we will be discussing back control back control points will be received when controlling your opponent's back with your heels placed inside opponents inner thighs passing through each side top control with your hands is not necessary if you keep your hooks in for three seconds you will receive four points it makes no difference if your opponent has one arm under the leg you will still receive four points without losing control of your it's back you end up losing your hooks and then managed to regain them you do not score
a new set of points for this now we will be showing you how advantages are scored the referee may only award advantage points once there is no longer a chance for the athlete to reach a point scoring position when your opponent has both arms underneath your legs when you have your opponent's back and keep your feet crossed instead of placing hooks when you have your opponent's back and keep the body triangle when you have your opponent's back but are only able to place one hook when you have your opponent's back but do not stabilize the
position for three seconds have any questions or concerns regarding back control please visit IBJJF comm forward slash rules thank you
