[Music] [Applause] hi welcome to another video so Google has launched their new Gemini 2.0 flash thinking model this is a new model and is now available on Google AI Studio it is basically the 2.0 flash but with Chain of Thought like open AI o1 or other similar models there aren't many details about the benchmarks or anything but it is ranking very high on lmsos across multiple leaderboards which is pretty great to see it can be tested here on Google AI studio and it has the same rate limits in everything the best part is that it's
free and doesn't cost $200 so that's super cool now let's test it out and see how well it performs on my questions these are the 13 questions that I'm going to try it against the first question is tell me the name of a country whose name ends with Leah give me the capital city of that country as well the answer to this could be canara let's send it and see so once we send it you can see that it shows the Chain of Thought inside this box and you can see the exact thought steps that

can be really good at some reasoning tasks plus it's going to be a lot cheaper than 01 and faster as well currently it is free to try out and you can also use it through an API I really liked the butterfly that it created as well because that was really amazing and very good I think that it is also slightly better at coding which is pretty great you can use it as a coder as well although I do think that the Chain of Thought could cause some issues in the coding part it's still great to
see and it can work great as an AI architect or something like that so it should be pretty insane it's just amazing to see Google ship such amazing things that are really fun and don't cost an arm and a leg to use I have been loving using the Gemini 2.0 flash model and this is insane it can also do vision and video understanding as well which is also really very cool for a reasoning model oh one can't do video reasoning but it can which is pretty awesome overall it's pretty cool anyway let me know your
