there are a trillion tools out there that people suggest that you use for outbound sales but honestly there are only a few that I think are absolutely necessary so in this video I wanted to name the 10 sales tools that are the most valuable for doing outbound why you should use them and why you should be paying the money to integrate them into your sales system all right so the first tool I would highly recommend you use is smart lead smart lead is an email sequencing tool meaning a tool that sends out emails at scale
for you when you're running cold outbound campaigns it's great because it allows you to connect several different domains up to dozens if not hundreds if not thousands emails to your smart lead account and send out a ridiculously high volume of emails without compromising deliverability very much the reason I like it so much is it has such a great inbox it's super reliable for deliverability and overall just has a great UI that allows you to track all of your cold email campaigns in one Consolidated space it's also very connectable with tools like clay which I'll go
through later in this video the second tool I would highly recommend you use is heyre heyre is an incredible LinkedIn automation tool that allows you to pretty much send out LinkedIn messages at scale instead of having to do each one individually one by one it allows you to input variables so you can create custom messages it has a really cool feature that allows you to stay under the radar of linkedin's automation detector which helps you not get banned on LinkedIn and overall just a really great automation tool for sending out LinkedIn messages so I've talked
about email tools I've talked about LinkedIn tools the third tool is a tool called log growth machine which does both the reason my growth machine is so great is because it allows you to send out lower volume but super targeted campaigns across several channels you can do LinkedIn you can do email you can do Twitter it's also connectable with external tools that allow you to update variables create custom first lines and you can even do a I generated voice messaging the fourth one is clay clay is an incredible data intermediary that allows you to pretty
much consolidate all of your outbound Tech into one tool it connects to tools like smart lead heyre and L growth machine to do outbound messaging it does enrichment so it's able to find more data on your prospects and your companies it even allows you to find people to reach out to here's an example of a clay table you can see it works just like a spreadsheet but with these really cool enrichments where you can find things like emails addresses e-commerce data employee count pretty much any data point you want to find on a company it's
in clay it's a great way to find more data on people as well as write personalized first lines which you can then use to reach out to the exact same people that I'm mentioning here the next one is zero bounce this one's a lot more simple frankly it just validates emails for you it makes sure that the emails you're sending to aren't going to bounce it makes sure you're not going to go to spam and eventually that your email sending accounts are not going to crash it's an incredible email validation tool it's one of my
favorites the next one is rb2 be it's free essentially it Imports around 20% of the people who visit your website and tells you who they are so you're actually able to identify exactly who's visiting your website what they're doing on the website where they work their email and even their LinkedIn profile it's able to identify all of this information in a very clean way it feeds it into a slack chn and you can even feed it into tools like clay the next one is open Ai and you might be thinking this is kind of a
surprise cuz it's not technically a sales tool but I've just found chat gbt is so useful for so many reasons it can help with generating campaign ideas it can help for writing copy Snippets I would really lean on chat gbg to do a lot of your sales heavy lifting it can find competitors it can find lookalikes for your companies it has so much that it can do and now that it has web scraping capabilities letting it do your research for you sometimes the next tool I want to talk about is Twain Twain is a tool
that allows you to write emails using AI I wouldn't say with 100% ccy that writing emails completely with AI is there yet but Twain is easily the closest tool to doing so I've seen better copy come out of Twain than I've seen come out of real copywriters or real salespeople at massive companies TW is quite good if you don't have an incredible copywriter on your team already and if you can't find one that you think is good enough go try Twain with all the context that you can feed it it's honestly really really solid I
highly recommend giving it a number nine is ocean. there's two reasons why I think ocean. is great the first one is that you can Source a huge variety of leads from the tool and it finds it with really solid accuracy and the second reason is that it has an incredible lookalikes feature so you can actually find companies that look similar to your favorite clients or your favorite Prospect and reach out to them as well so you can input a company like clay.com and find all the companies similar to Clay and then reach out to them
as well and finally the last tool I want to talk about is zapier zapier is again not exclusively a sales tool but you can use it to set up so many great automations from sending positive responses from Smart lead into a slack channel from setting up awesome sales automations for when somebody signs up for your product being able to send them a congratulatory email it connects to pretty much every tool on the planet and there's really no reason not to learn zapier to some extent in your Tech stack it's just a great overall General automation
