so recently I actually deleted all of my tech videos various coding tutorials web tutorials full stack database maintenance how to make coding apps iOS apps I just deleted all of them because they're essentially worthless they just don't get any views anymore nobody cares about tech you know many of these videos used to get hundreds of thousands or even millions of views but the trend is clear when I look at the analytics nobody's interested in this anymore nobody's learning programming software engineering the views drop to essentially zero and so I just thought okay well if I'm
not getting paid for these Tech videos then there's just no point in leaving them around might as well just delete them and so when somebody ask me why don't you just go back to making Tech videos instead of doing Finance videos or whatever my response is well why don't you go make some Java tutorial and let's see how many views you get let's see how many people care about that stuff so this channel is going to Pivot away from Tech altogether although more on that a little bit later I wanted to give you an update
on the day of the tech industry though and saw this interesting post on X about a homeless programmer who is too depressed to work and so here he kind of goes through his whole entire coding Journey where he began learning basic Q basic and went to Visual Basic making games and then learning JavaScript and then he got into human computer interface user interfaces he was homeless actually at this time but you know here he is with his laptop and he got into tensor flow JavaScript and he started building these user interfaces for augmented reality with
facial tracking eye tracking and it's just totally useless less nobody cares right he can't get investors for this the investor says he just doesn't see any of this as lucrative at all but this guy continues grinding on his code relentlessly oh he just can't stop he loves coding so much and he's adding hand tring voices poses and then he becomes homeless yet again because there's just no money nobody's willing to pay for any of this stuff sure it's NE technology when the nft craze came up well he got into that too and so we've had
the string of failures of Technology right there was web 3 that failed and the nfts came along and that failed too and all of the developers who came with these ecosystem who invested time effort and resources to learning the languages and the technology I mean these are lost Investments of effort then came the metaverse AR VR the VR goggles Apple Vision Pro the chat GPT App Store and all of the developers who committ their resources into learning any of this are just sitting ducks in the water now because these Technologies didn't go anywhere they did
not reach mainstream and the only thing Apple has to offer now to developers is well there's AI Apple intelligence but AI may just be a complete failure as well we'll get to that in a second and for all of the AI sdks and Frameworks that were announced during WWDC that addresses the how how to develop an AI app but it doesn't address why why would anyone make any of this because there's simply no exposure on the App Store and that's really the problem this guy has too as well he's making all of these really fancy
little apps and nobody even cares he just can't get exposure maybe he should have gotten into the med media game which I've suggested over and over again but then after that he got into stable diffusion generative art he started making some cat gbt gen AI games and again nobody even cares about any of this stuff he started doing llms with agent uis and you the problem with llms and these chat gbt clones is that sure AI can replace certain Technologies like let's say translation the Dual lingo app can be replaced with your little app but
the thing is this is a commodity now why would anyone pay anything for your app when they can get this for free with their own chat GPT agent they just go chat GPT right why do they need to use your app and so finally this guy this developer who's gone through the entire Tech stack is tired now feeling utterly hopeless and he's going to be admitting himself to a mental hospital because he needs a hard reset and this can be you as well this is the state of the tech industry let's take a look at
Apple Apple announced they won't be able to roll out AI Tech in the European markets over regulatory concerns because the US is just going to ban Apple from releasing any AI Tech to any other country really this is going to be siloed off and so this is De globalization in action where tech companies are no longer global companies they're only going to have local domestic reach and all of their technology is going to be limited and so when you contrast that to the prior decade where companies like Google Facebook Apple had Global International reach selling
their products and services to the entire world and connecting the entire world like Facebook's mission statement was to connect the world I mean this is a ludicrous idea by today's standards they're going to be banned in half the countries Apple's becoming a domestic company the future of tech is it no longer has Global reach you does have Global reach Bitcoin that's a global asset that's something the whole entire world is going to have demand for media as well actually may have Global reach as well because many countries they're going to allow some media into their
countries right but they're certainly going to be banning the technology and in fact the US government also just announced a ban of kerski software antivirus noting that hey kerski is run by some Russian software people and it could be a national security threat and pretty soon we're going to have entirely local domestic tech companies and I just find it hilarious that even though this guy cannot find a job like we have Americans who graduate from American universities who cannot get a job we are saying hey we need more H1B immigrant workers and really the reason
is why hire an American right why pay more for an American who's going to be self-entitled who wants additional pay and rights and who's going to be some social activist and so we're actually trying to hire the non-americans for our Tech labor workforce bringing in from other countries like India China because hey they're working cheaper they work harder they're probably better educated now if you happen to be an American well why would you want to compete in this oversaturated area massive competition and compete with the whole entire world in which we're going to throw open
our doors for right you don't want to stand in that path now regarding AI which is really the only last thing left to save Tech AI is fake guys I mean there's absolutely no proof that AI works at all and there's many people who are claiming that this whole entire AI thing chat GPD is going to set real AI back by decades open basically setback progress towards higi by probably like 5 to 10 years they cause this complete closing down of Frontier research publishing and for all of the AI hype that we've had we continue
to have Vapor where most people don't use chat gbt even daily maybe once a week or something like that everything continues to be just demos Tech demos hype demos when you look at Apple's WWDC Apple intelligence demo it's all just promotional videos and I think it's telling that Apple identified three primary use cases for AI and all of them seem to be pretty useless right number one is your writing so you can reformat your emails I mean this is basically chat gbt all over again and I don't know many people in real life who actually
pay for chat gbt or are are willing to pay for this stuff there's also priority notifications so you can sort your notifications how much value is there to this and then we also have generative images and then ser and so you might ask Siri something as simple as order me a pizza it should be tasty reasonable quality good reviews and Siri is going to say I have no idea how to do that or then you might say I need a pair of shoes can you find me a good deal for them no still can't help
you and my point is people are just going to learn not to rely on these voice assistants when it's unpredictable and unreliable that boundary of what AI can and cannot do is il defined then people are going to learn to just do things themselves rather than relying on The Voice Assistant messing around with that and it just wastes more time than it saves for a lot of people and so it makes for a nice Tech demo though and my view is AI full self-driving is never going to become a reality it cannot work because the
moment an AI hallucinates and it randomly runs somebody over well we're not going to know how to fix this the problem is nobody has any clue how this AI thing is working it's just randomly Computing all these random numbers and ideas and it's like it's unpredictable that's the problem and so what we're really going to have I think what real self-driving is going to and what's going to actually be the next big thing in Tech maybe it's just remote outsourced workers like real human beings like mechanical Turks on the other end with cameras and audio
just watching things observing things like for example the weo self-driving car I believe is actually manned by a human operator on the other side so even though they call it self driving that doesn't necessarily imply that it is AI doing any of the driving the same applies for checkout machines and cashiers Amazon's so-called AI powered cashier free shops just walk out stores actually relied on a thousand people in India watching and not AI so much and the same goes for personal assistance rather than relying on say Siri people might just get virtual assistance real people
manned by Outsource labor and say the Philippines or something and one interesting Trend I've noticed these days is people are obsessed with news and politics these days and it's not so much your individual work or actions that people are focused on anymore but rather it's that bigger picture because people are helpless now and they're looking to the governments and the wi picture the macroeconomics and politicians to try to save them because they're just incapable and useless now the control is out of the hands of people there's nothing we can really do we're just watching and
waiting for the waves to hopefully Lift us all higher and so what's happened is we have this overc consumption of news nowadays where everyone's just reading news blogs social media posts all day long watching videos and that's because there's simply no more opportunity at the individual level now and really it's the bigger forces at play that are going to determine Our Fate and future you know now is not the time to be learning JavaScript tutorials and Java web development when you're preparing for a journey right the Bitcoin Journey you know every era has its moment
its opportunity whether you live through the railroad era well then you wanted to be developing railroads or you live through the real estate era the do era or the mobile app development era and today we are in the Bitcoin era and you need to be getting your bags packed and getting prepared for your journey for the Bitcoin age and if you're just doing anything else like you're trying to develop some web app thing that was the last era and you need to get on board the current ERA it's going to be gradually and then suddenly
and you're not going to have time to prepare real estate is done there are insurance and HOA scams all over that place running rampant they're going to siphon off all of that because that is one of the last stores of wealth and as people start going broke like insurance companies and HOAs and contractors and developers they're going to tax you out raise property taxes special assessments Insurance fees and and they're going to get you to pay until you've got nothing left and especially in the age of AI with Bitcoin there's going to be a competition
for energy resources AI takes massive energy resources as well the price for Energy will Skyrocket in a bidding war for resources between Bitcoin and AI Washington Post reports that AI is exhausting the power grid as Tech firms are seeking a Miracle Solution AI has an insatiable need for energy what Bitcoin does too now rant aside people are losing interest in the 9 to5 you know when I began this channel the idea of working an office job at a fan company in Silicon Valley Facebook or Google was actually coveted people wanted that 9 to-5 office lifestyle
in a cubicle staring at the screen all day long but today in comparison nobody really wants to put in the hard long 30 years of work just to make some money people want the money now they want it fast they want their Lambos they want the travel lifestyle people see that stuff on social media everybody's living that stuff that's what it takes to be competitive these days and that 90 5 slow olded way of making money is just not going to cut it anymore nobody wants that it's not interesting it's not appealing and especially after
Co giving people a taste of freedom and that remote work lifestyle once you taste that freedom it's really hard to go back and people become unemployable and so the tech job died or it just became extremely boring to the mainstream masses who lost fascination with that Silicon Valley Tech bro culture you know they just ridicule these people these days you see a programmer on the streets some tech bro avoid them at all costs but but back in the day the programmer used to be regarded as a magical wizard of their craft a stem genius who
could fix any printer you would go to the Apple Store at the Genius Bar see these people in blue shirts nowadays if you see some tech bro on the streets with their laptop Java tutorials grinding leite code it's just like get away from this person now regarding this YouTube channel one thing I noticed is this world is becoming increasingly more polarized and angry there's this concept of the Dark Forest of social media where you don't actually know who's out there watching you social media could be a Wonderland full of your friends and you can just
post anything you like to your heart's content and everyone's going to support you or it could be full of aggressive hostile haters it's kind of like how divers when they first go underwater they imagine it to be some magical underwater fairy land and then divers realize the ocean is actually a cemetery you know when I began my YouTube Journey it was just fun stuff out here nobody talked about news and politics actually we just talked about coding self-improvement lifestyle but what happened was The Meta of YouTube changed into Finance where people started needing to talk
about money how much money they make on YouTube how to make money how to become productive and that's because money topics get views and it has the higher advertising rates which shifted the dialogue into following World News and stocks as well and then stock YouTuber took place then crypto came along and more and more people began focusing away from their own personal individual activities into world world news politics stock news because these were the things that would affect their stocks their finances their crypto Investments and with politics came the rise of figures like Andrew Tate
popularizing topics on really controversial subjects then we got into the geopolitical wars with Ukraine Russia and Israel Palestine and so the whole social media landscape changed from what used to be fun Tech topics and that's what I had signed up for into today's topics on politics controversy societal issues and there's a lot of angry heated people out there now as for this channel some people are going to say hey this Channel's fallen off it used to have high quality they're unsubscribing now and that's cool you know that's totally fine we're going to just be doing
