in this dragons augment 2 video I'm going to be talking about the best augments for each vocation people really liked my augments video for information but they wanted recommendations on which to use for each vocation so that's what I'm going to get into in this video so first up we have metal this increases your physical defense by a good amount it's about 30% if I'm not mistaken this is a significant amount of physical protection Fighters are typically in a thick of combat you do make mistakes with blocking so this is a good one to have
on a fighter provocation makes you much more likely to be targeted in your job as a fighter is a tank so you absolutely want to have provocation on your fighter if you're playing a warrior you want the same thing for the same reasons you want enemies coming after you because you're going to take less damage than your squishies endurance gives you a significant increase to your stamina and Fighters have stamina management issues usually because of the amount they need to block blocking consumes a lot of stamina so increasing the amount of stamina they have can
really help them with that and on the other side of that is exaltation this increases your stamina recovery speed this is important because you need to get your stamina back if you're constantly going through it while blocking and attacking I have constancy here to further give you knockdown resistance Fighters are like right up on enemies and they tend to get knocked down more easily if they're not positioned correctly or if an attack hits them incorrectly so giving them knockdown resistance is not a bad idea athleticism is also really good as it reduces the amount of
stamina you consume while sprinting this means that you're not going to use as much stamina while you're running around on the landscape but also in combat from Target to Target if you're not using your skills to get there and then if you're going to replace a skill to add detection if like you're playing a fighter I would recommend either getting rid of athleticism or constancy in order to have detection obviously if this is a pawn setup for you then you don't need to add detection and the setup you have is fine so moving to Archer
the first augment is ambuscade this increases your damage to enemies that are not in Battle Stance so if you attack them before you engage in combat effectively you do the a lot as an Archer and a magic Archer as well you're constantly attacking enemies before they're in combat so definitely get this one it's a good way to boost your damage as an Archer additionally lethality increases your damage when you're attacking the weak point of an enemy so like if you're hitting them in their head or something you tend to use steady shot a lot as
an Archer and free Aim so this is a good way to increase your damage more exaltation is not a bad addition to increase your stamina recovery archers don't typically have huge stamina problems but it can also help you outside of combat as well um to further increase your stamina recovery when you're like running around on the landscape subtley is there to reduce the amount of threat generation you have as a DPS character I find when I play Archer a lot I tend to pull aggro a lot of times reducing that can really help keep big
enemies off you so you can focus on shooting them and less running away I have as sparity here because it increases the likelihood of inflicting debilitations with your attacks you tend to be buffed a lot by your Mage when you're using an Archer so I'm assuming that applies to that but it's also one you can replace and then I also have constant see for knockdown resistance knockdown resistance is good on just about any character you can also add athleticism archers don't really have a great way of dodging so they tend to Sprint around to avoid
attack so athleticism can help reduce stamina cost when doing that so that's nice you can replace either constancy or asperity with that and then detection you can also replace one of these or you can replace subtlety if you find that you're not having trouble managing aggro and you're not constantly being attacked so then we move to Mage the first thing here is beatitude this increases your healing with consumables and spells you do a lot of healing as a mage so this can really augment the amount of healing that you're doing perpetuation increases the duration of
the weapon Buffs that Mage cast so if you're Mage has a weapon buff which they usually do like either ice or fire is usually what they have this will increase the duration of that so you don't have to cast it as much or your Pawn doesn't have to cast it as much so it's good to have exaltation is good for stamina recovery Mages don't have galvanized like Sorcerers do so they don't have a way to just regain stamina quickly so you definitely want exaltation on Mage metal is there to increase physical protection you don't necessarily
have to have this but Mages tend to be squishy so getting extra physical protection can be good on them endurance further boost the stamina of Mages Mages don't again like Sorcerers don't have a way of recovering stamina very easily so going into combat with more stamina makes it take longer for them to run out of stamina which is nice constancy is also a good option for knockdown resistance sometimes they can get knocked down it's always good on like a pawn too cuz pawns tend to be out of position a lot more often than you will
be when you're playing athleticism is also not a bad choice if you want to reduce the cost of sprinting Mages tend to Sprint a lot obviously this is good outside of combat too if you're playing a mage so consider adding that one there as well and then if you want to add detection on yourself obviously you wouldn't do this on your Pawn you could get rid of be itude um because the healing increase I think is like 10% so it's not a huge amount but if you really need detection then that's the one I would
probably get rid of so first up on Thief is subtlety this reduces the likelihood of them being targeted you tend to be in the thick of it as a thief so going to be targeted a little bit more as a Melee character than one of the range characters will be if you're like getting around zipping around attacking everything so having that is you know not bad you can take Vigor if you like to climb enemies I find that I do like to climb a lot on my Thief so this reduces the stamina cost while you're
like hanging on to a monster so you can stay on them longer one of the kind of things that sucks about know climbing is that you run out of stamina eventually this can help manage that so if you find you're climbing a lot as your Thief bigger is good if you don't then you don't need this one endurance is there to further increase your stamina you go through a lot of stamina as a thief particularly if you just Spam Helm splitter like a lot of people do so having extra stamina will allow you to do
that before you know having to regen your stamina lethality is there to increase your damage when you attack weak points you tend to be able to aim for weak points pretty good with Helm splitter and obviously if an enem is on the ground you can attack them this isn't probably the most important one on a thief and you can probably Swap this out but it's also not bad to have exaltation is good for stamina recovery thieves are stamina Hogs most mostly again because of Helm splitter spam so having stamina recovery is fantastic athleticism is good
for reducing the stamina cost of sprinting just a way to further have better stamina Management on your Thief I also like veracity on a thief you tend to kill a lot of small targets quickly on Thief and this can give you stamina back when you kill an enemy which allows you to keep going as it gives you 10% of your max stamina when you kill an enemy that's really really good in my opinion definitely worth considering putting on your feet and then if you want detection on your Thief you could probably replace something like athleticism
in order to that okay next we come to Warrior the first one on Warrior you'll want is dominance this increases your knockdown power Warriors have a huge focus on knocking down enemies so increasing their knockdown power is going to make that more likely to happen which is just good for your party in general metal is there for more physical protection you tend to get more chip damage as a warrior than you do as a fighter because you're not blocking as much and provocation is there in order to attract enemies too you tend to do a
lot of charge attacks when you're playing a warrior and sometimes you're just standing there in a stance waiting for enemies to get near you so provocation can help make that happen more frequently so that you know you don't just stand there and hold your weapon and nothing happens endurance is good for increased stamina Warriors tend to Sprint around in combat a lot in order to get position they have long wind ups which means they need to be correctly positioned which means they need to spend their stamina to get in that position by sprinting so having
more stamina allows them to you know do a bit more of that before running out and in that same vein exaltation is really good for giving them stamina recovery so they can you know continue to expend their stamina and not have to worry about running out constancy is also another really good option on a warrior because of knockdowns can be a problem for them until unless they have a specific skill slotted they won't be able to block attacks and this allows them to kind of absorb those attacks without getting knocked down a lot more easily
so moving on to sorcerer first one I have here is asperity this increases the likelihood of inflicting debilitations with your attacks this isn't such a huge thing on sorcerer in my opinion you're typically just going for outright damage and a status effects but it's not a bad one to have early constancy is good for knockdown resistance again especially on pawns who tend to be out of position more than you but anytime you can get knockdown resistance is worth having catalysis increases your damage when exploting a hostile Target's Elemental weakness so if you do like fire
damage to an enemy that's weak to fire you're going to do more damage this is one of the few ways Sorcerers have of increasing their damage that's why I recommend doing it you're always trying to Target the the elemental weakness of an enemy anyway endurance is there for increased stamina a lot of sorcerer spells consume a lot of stamina so it's nice to have a huge pool of it because you can use Galvanize to top yourself off before casting spells that way you don't accidentally wind yourself and you're just standing there vulnerable and athleticism is
good for reducing stamina cost when sprinting just like other classes that need to avoid damage without using some ability you're going to Sprint to get out of the way so that can save you a lot of stamina and veracity is good for recovering stamina when you kill a Target and since you have a lot of AOE as a sorcerer you tend to kill like groups of enemies this can get you a lot of stamina back so you don't have to worry about using galvanizes as much and you can keep casting moving on to Mystic spear
hand first one is athleticism again this reduces your Sprint cost this is really good for outside of combat in combat highly recommend it on your M experience metal is there to give you more physical protection you do tend to get hit sometimes when you're playing you can bubble yourself constantly but unless you literally bubbling yourself like every 5 Seconds you will probably get hit sometimes and it's just good to have extra physical protection when that happens endurance is good for extra stamina Mist experience can be stamina Hogs because they just can fly around and do
stuff so fast that having extra stamina kind of prevents them from running out as quickly exaltation is good for stamina recovery for this very same reason it gives you stamina back so you can keep doing the things that you're doing asperity is not bad if you have a weapon type that has like a damage you know effect buff or if you're being buffed by you know your Mage which is typically what's going to be happening if you're playing your magic spe hand so spity can be good on Mystic spe hand as well and then I
find is also nice I tend to kill enemies pretty quickly on my Mystic spear hand this can give me stamina back so I can keep going for magic Archer I like veracity to get stamina back when you kill enemies you don't typically have stamina problems on Magic Archer but if you spam some of the skills which you do sometimes it can be good to just get stamina back ambuscade is good for increasing your damage when you attack enemies outside of combat you do this a lot as an Archer you're typically leading off combat so it's
a good way to boost your damage endurance is good for extra stamina both inside and outside of combat it's just a good allaround one to have lethality is good for hitting the weak points of enemies archers and Magic archers have the easiest time doing this in my opinion and it's a good way to boost your damage when doing that exaltation good for stamina recovery this is good both inside and outside of combat so definitely worth having and also subtlety I like you tend to pull aggro a lot when you're playing a magic Archer so reducing
the amount of threat you generate can be good asperity is also another good option if you're trying to inflict a status with your magic Archer this can happen a lot like you can you know use arrows that inflict fire or whatever in order to try and set burning on particular enemies so this could be a good way to speed that up and catalysis is another good one as well this increases the damage dealt when exploiting a hostile Target's Elemental weakness so for instance if they're weak to Fire and you're using like a fire arrow or
something like that you're going to get more damage and you can kind of change your damage with your skills so this works really well on Magic Archer as well so next we come to trickster and trickster is a bit of a funny one cuz they don't actually deal any damage really so first we have is protection since I figure if you're playing a trickster you're definitely going to want to use that then we have provocation to further increase your threat generation you are the tank if you're playing trickster and that threat generation is then transferred
onto your simac so that's just good to Happ endurance is not bad for extra stamina you can tend to run out of stamina very easily from spamming skills on the trickster so and you know just running around in general by sprinting so I find having extra stamina is good and exaltation is good for the same reason it gives you stamina recovery to help get your Stam back sustainment increases the physical and magical defense of your pawns by 30 each that's like 60 Total Defense between each Pawn that's 180 that's really good for one augment slot
I feel like and since you're not really you know have a way of doing damage boosting their defenses is nice and ascendency boosts their strength and Magic so you're going to make them stronger and harder to kill and besides tanking you usually buff their damage so you need your pawns to kill everything quickly for you and this is a way doing that while also keeping them alive and then we come to Warfare and this one is a bit tougher cuz it's really going to depend on what style of play you're going for on your Warfare
and there's so many different ways you can set it up but I'll just kind of give you a general setup that I think works really well first is Zeal which reduces your skill cost by 5% this is just good for anyone and if you have multiple different classes you know with different setups you skill-wise this can be very helpful in managing your stamina endurance is good for extra stamina again without knowing what skills you have this can help with your stamina management least ality is good for targeting enemy weak points if you have like an
Archer magic Archer you know set up as one of your weapon types this can be really good exaltation is good for stamina recovery this is pretty much good for any class and also affects you outside of combat so it's useful in multiple places catalysis is good if you have a setup for exploiting Elemental weaknesses like if you have sorcerer Mage or maybe magic Archer but if you don't have it I recommend veracity instead to get that stamina when you're killing enemies that can be really good for your stamina management and then lastly is athle iism
to further reduce the cost of your stamina when you're sprinting this is good outside of combat and inside of combat as well so that wraps up our video on best augments for each vocation I probably should have done it this way in the other video but I wanted to explain how some of those augments worked and I thought people might want to know that information in that video but this is kind of how to set up each class I'm going to do a video on best skills for each class and then we're going to get
into our endgame builds with very specific skill setups augments and gear as always if you have tips that I didn't mention about the augments or have questions about them please leave them in the comments and I will try and answer them as soon as I [Music] [Music] can
