Rajasthan Police went to arrest Aman Chopra. But the UP Police intervened and Aman Chopra somehow managed to evade this issue. Arnab Goswami is in the same situation.
You must have heard the news that in Maharashtra's Palghar two sadhus and their companion were l! nched. This was because of a rumour on social media that they were child kidn@ppers.
Because of this, the police arrested 101 people. But right after this, a f@ke message was circulated on WhatsApp University. It was claimed that these sadhus were k!
lled by Ms. The then Home Minister Anil Deshmukh clarified that of the 101 people who were arrested, none of them were Ms. But this lie was shamelessly spread by Republic TV's anchor, Arnab Goswami, on his channel.
"Of the k! lling of two Hindu sadhus, wearing saffron clothes, easily identifiable, she insists this is not c0mmunal at all. Does it make any sense to you?
" As a result, an FIR was filed against Arnab. It's the same for Amish Devgan, another anchor on News18. He used vile language against Sufi saint Khawaja Moinuddin.
Later, he tweeted an apology that he meant to talk about Alauddin Khilji, but by a slip of the tongue, he mentioned Khawaja Moinuddin. But an FIR was filed against him for this. And the Supreme Court said that he will have to face trial.
Another example is Sudhir Chaudhary. When he used to work on Zee News, a nonsensical flowchart was going viral on WhatsApp. It showed a false theory of different types of 'Jih@d.

But here, because the government and the police took action, 25 people, who were a part of that mob, were arrested and the source of the message could be found.
The WhatsApp group in which this message was spread, the admin of that group was also arrested. So if the government wants, it can shut down this factory of lies. But do you know what the problem is?

32,000 was a made-up number and the real figure was just 3. The Supreme Court directed the film's producer to play a disclaimer before the film that this is only a fictionalised account. That the story is not real.
But PM Modi promoted this false, hateful pr0paganda in his election speech. "The film based on t*rr*rist conspiracy, nowadays, The Kerala Story is a hot topic. " I repeatedly tell PM Modi to have some decency, because we feel second-hand embarrassment because of his actions.
But now this film was screened even on Doordarshan. In his speech, Home Minister Amit Shah praised himself for how his BJP IT cell has the ability to spread any lie all over the country. "The message that we want can be circulated among the people whether it's sour or sweet, whether it's true or not, we can do it.
And it could be possible because we had made WhatsApp groups for 3. 2 million people. Only then could we send these messages.
