a feat not seen since Cleveland's terms in the late 19th century and with this Victory the Republicans have also regained control of the Senate flipping it back from the Democrats for the first time since 2021 and they appear to be on to retain the house the implications of this political shift are vast for those who voted for Trump there may be a sense of hope and a belief that things might improve for those who hoped for kamla Harris there may be disappointment or fear for the future but let us remember that the Bible provides us
with a different perspective one that goes beyond the highs and lows of political outcomes while the world often often sees hope or despair through the lens of leadership changes power shifts or policy swings the Bible reveals a much deeper unwavering Foundation our hope is grounded in the unchanging Promises of God not in the temporary leaders of this world Earthly rulers come and go nations rise and fall but God's kingdom is Everlasting and his rule is secure this perspective helps us to rise above the fleeting Joys or Sorrows attached to political wins or losses anchoring our
souls in the certainty of God's sovereignty and his ultimate victory in 2 Timothy 3:1 Paul warns this know also that in the last days perilous times shall come as Believers we are not called to read these prophecies in fear if prophecy troubles us it means we are interpreting it incorrectly and we do not understand just how in control God is these words are meant to prepare us not scare us Paul's words in 2 Timothy 3:1 reveal that difficult days are ahead this know also that in the last days perilous times shall come this has nothing
to do with Donald Trump's election rather it has everything to do with the nature of the last days The Last Days by their very nature are perilous times if Kamala Harris had won the word of God would remain exactly the same perilous times are ahead in the last days consider how the Bible describes the people of these times 2 Timothy 3: 2 and 5 people will be lovers of themselves lovers of money boastful proud abusive disobedient to their parents ungrateful Unholy Without Love unforgiving slanderous Without self-control brutal not lovers of the good treacherous rash conceited
lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God having a form of godliness but denying its power have nothing to do with such people we must look Beyond human events the Bible clearly states that in these last days challenges will come but we should not allow these times to disturb our peace Paul reminds Believers in 2 Thessalonians 2:2 that ye be not soon shaken in mind or be troubled neither by Spirit nor by word nor by letter as from us as that the day of Christ is at hand even as signs of the end begin to
unfold Paul tells us to remain steady and not to be what not to be troubled Jesus himself speaking of future tribulations warned in Matthew 24:6 see that you are not troubled his words reveal God's heart we are living in a broken world and even if you wanted Trump to win and are over the moon about it there are still deep problems in this world that only the return of the Lord Jesus Christ can fix this is a fallen world and it will never be heaven on Earth the ible makes it clear that this Fallen world
is not our ultimate home when we see Wars earthquakes rumors of wars and famines we are witnessing what scripture calls the beginning of Sorrows these Sorrows are reminders of the end times and the Brokenness of a world plagued by sin Jesus outlined many signs in Matthew 24 and we have witnessed some of these wars natural disasters and moral decline line God's plan is unfolding and it doesn't change with political elections regardless of who occupies the White House God's Divine purposes are constant he's been working his plan from the beginning it's crucial to remember that God
is ultimately the one who appoints rulers and authorities from Ethan the first West Saxon King to effectively rule over all of England and the great grandson of King Alfred the Great to King Charles III today God appoints Kings and removes them from George Washington the first American President to Donald J Trump the 45th and now the 47th president God's hand guides the rise and fall of leaders Daniel 2:21 tells us and he changeth the times and the seasons he removeth Kings and sth up Kings similarly Romans 13:1 declares for there is no power but of
god the powers that be are ordained of God and in Daniel 4:17 we read the most high ruleth in the Kingdom of men and giveth it to whomsoever he will God's sovereignty extends to all rulers presidents Kings and leaders whether they're good or evil each has been placed by God to fulfill his purposes his authority over history is absolute every president every ruler in every corner of the world has been allowed to Reign under God's permission from Joe Biden president of the United States to Xi Jinping president of the People's Republic of China from Narendra

sees all things as they truly are all the time in the Book of Daniel we read he does according to his will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth no one can restrain his hand or say to him what have you done [Music] let us look forward to the culmination of time trusting in God's plan whether you hoped for Trump to win or wished for another outcome remember this God is in control whether you are a democrat or a republican this is the one message I have for you God is
in control nothing happens outside his will let us shift our Focus away from politics and toward what truly matters heaven Heaven finally all of this leads us to a crucial realization our ultimate hope is not in any Earthly leader or political outcome but in our Eternal home as Paul says Philippians 3:20 for our conversation is in heaven from whence also we look for the Savior the Lord Jesus Christ as Christians we look to Eternity our true Homeland this world with all its challenges is temporary I want us to turn our eyes away from politics and
focus on what truly matters heaven heaven let me show you why I always attempt to point your eyes away from politics world events and the distractions of this world toward eternity it's because I care I care about your soul I care about where you will go when you die I care about where you will spend your eternity because in eternity it won't matter who won an election 100 years from now you won't be thrilled that Trump won the election nor will you be disappointed if he lost the things of this world will fade away but
Heaven and the Eternal state of your soul are what truly matter to grasp the depth of Eternity consider this thought-provoking illustration imagine a massive mountain made of solid Granite towering above the clouds seemingly indestructible now picture a small bird that visits this mountain once every million years each time it simply brushes its beak against the Mountain's surface wearing away only a tiny Speck of rock then the bird flies away and won't return for another million years even if through this slow and steady process the bird were to eventually wear the entire Mountain down to dust
that would be only the beginning of eternity the very beginning of Eternity after countless Cycles when that mountain has completely vanished eternity will still stretch infinitely onward it's a concept beyond our full comprehension but it reminds us of the vast unending nature of Eternity where will your soul be for eternity eternity is where each of us is headed and because of that I must ask do do you know where you're going are you saved are you born again do you know Christ and more importantly does he know you brothers and sisters eternity is an incomprehensibly
