Why do people use crystals in the first place? Now, what does the Bible say? Do we read anything about crystals?
Now, why would you want to use crystals or occultic things to try and get help, good luck or blessings from unclean spirits? They can give you some good luck or healing at first, but then it comes at a great cost. Hey guys, welcome back to DLM Christian Lifestyle.
If you're new here, my name is Daniel Maritz and today I want to talk about crystals. I just want to pray because this is so important so before we get into it. .
. Father you are God Almighty. No one and nothing is above you.
But Father you know when we start to deal with the occult - Satanism - the devil and the demons - then we also need to pray for protection as your Word says we have to. Resist the devil - submit to God - that's what we have to do and then he will flee from us. So I ask Father for protection for the viewers and also for me and that you will use this video for your glory to bring knowledge to those who lack it and so it can prevent so much unnecessary pain and suffering.
Use this video for your kingdom God. You're amazing and we love you. Amen.
Alright, now why do people use crystals in the first place? Well, people use it because they believe it will scare off evil spirits or absorb bad energy and bring good luck and then some also believe that it stimulates the body's chakras and helps people to heal themselves and then some use it to even try and connect to God . Now there are even Christians who lack the knowledge of this, who do use crystals, and they do not realize that they are giving the enemy, the devil and demons, a foothold into their lives.
Now what does the Bible say? Do we read anything about crystals? Well, let's start here.
The Bible does explain crystals and beautiful stones. For example the New Jerusalem that we will see one day when we are with God. Revelation 21:11: Having the glory of God, its radiance like a most rare jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal.
Now if you're saved, if you received eternal life, then you will see this not just the new heaven, the new earth, but also the new Jerusalem coming down from God, from heaven. All its glory and then even the walls of it with the most precious jewels. Verse 19 says: The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every kind of jewel.
The first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleveth jacinth, the twelfth amethyst and the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates made of a single pearl and the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. Wow. You know, we did a really terrible job in history when we humans try to portray what heaven is like, and God in heaven.
This old person with a beard sitting on the clouds. That's not what heaven will be like and it's not described that way so why are we portraying it like that? We need to show people and that's what I tried with this video to show people, what it might look like.
We need to start thinking about heaven - what it will be like when we go there. Now, what is interesting is when we look at God's throne, we also see this description of glass that looks like crystal and that's probably why some people believe that if they have crystal now they can connect to God for some reason. Revelation 4:6 says: And before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass like crystal.
Now, when we go back to the Old Testament, we also see this description of beautiful stones like for example the high priest. He had his beautiful breastplate on with these twelve stones representing what(? ).
. . the twelve tribes of Israel.
Exodus 39:10: And they set in it four rows of stones. A row of sardius, topaz, and carbunkle was the first row. And a second row - an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.
And a third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst. And the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx and a jasper. They were enclosed in settings of gold filigree.
There were twelve stones with their names according to the names of the sons of Israel. Now, a lot of people don't know that Satan, before he fell down from heaven, before he rebelled, he was a beautiful angel. What angel?
A beautiful cherub angel and he had precious stones on him. Ezekiel 28:12: You were the signet of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God, every precious stone was your covering.
Sardius, topaz, and diamond. Beryl, onyx, and jasper. Sapphire, emerald and carbunkle.
And crafted in gold were your settings and your engravings. On the day that you were created, they were prepared. You were an anointed guardian cherub.
I placed you. You are on the Holy Mountain of God, in the midst of the stones of fire you walked. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till unrighteousness was found in you.
Alright, so you get it. There are examples of precious stones in the Bible. But here's the thing.
It was never ever described or used to have supernatural or spiritual mystic powers. Witches use crystals and Satanists use them today, but none of their beliefs about crystals come from the Bible. It comes from Satan and his fallen spirits - angels - and they have power.
And some of you who are listening to this video you might say, well I don't really believe in God, I believe in the spirits. Well, the spirits are the fallen angels. You can either call them gods like so many other people do or you can also call them aliens, right?
These spiritual beings, they are there . Good ones and bad ones. Spirits are angels, those of the light and those of the dark.
Hebrews 1:13 says: And to which of the angels has he ever said sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a foot stool for your feet. Now here it comes. Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?
The spirits, the angels, are just ministering spirits. . .
they're servants of God. God is so much bigger. He's all knowing.
He's all powerful. He's not limited by time space or matter. He created everything including the angels so that should just give you an idea of how big and amazing He truly is.
But if you use crystals to try and connect to these spirits then you are connecting to unclean spirits - demons - fallen angels. Mark 6:7 says: And He called the twelve and began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over the unclean spirits. Now I know this because I grew up with demon possession.
I saw it happen. It was normal for me. Please watch my testimony about that after this video.
Now you need to understand that if you choose to use crystals or any other occultic practices, things . . .
then you are choosing to do so from your own free determining will. And that means you're trying to use it to influence the spiritual world or to manipulate it or to communicate to the spirits because you want blessings - you want good luck - you want things. And here's the thing: that means you're giving these unclean spirits - demons - a foothold into your life.
And they can influence your life. And it is never ever good. The devil is walking around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour and they can pretend to do good things, but at the end it's always negative.
So they can give you some good luck or healing at first but then it comes at a great cost. For example, let's say you get ill and then you use crystals for healing and suddenly you do get better, quicker than normal. But then you start to get these extreme headaches and nothing you do helps because it is a demon doing it.
Or even worse. After you use the crystals again for awhile, the headaches disappear. But then when you go to the doctor you realize you have just gotten cancer.
Or you can use crystals for your relationships. So you do get the man or the woman you like but then suddenly he or she starts to struggle with temptation - pornography - you see they start to cheat on you and you become extremely jealous. Now why would you want to use crystals or occultic things to try and get help good luck or blessings from unclean spirits?
Who just actually want to destroy you, when you can look to the God of the universe who spoke everything into existence, who has all power and authority when you're going to go directly to Him and ask Him for help? God is against crystals and all kinds of occultic practices because He knows the evil that is behind it and the dangers that is in it for you. In fact, anything occultic that you try to use and manipulate towards the spiritual realm is sorcery and God is against sorcery.
He warns us in Revelation 21:8: But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolators, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur which is the second death. Why would you ignore God when all good things come from God in the first place? And use crystals to try and connect with these spirits, these unclean spirits?
To help you just a little bit in this temporary life and then you experience a lot of problems at the end because they will use it for evil and then you die and you go to the eternal fire for all eternity. It's not smart. There is nothing good in it.
Galatians 5:9 also says: Now the works of the flesh are evident. Sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies and things like these I warn you, as I warned you before that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Now, if you are a Christian and you still believe that you need to trust in worldly materialistic things, crystals and occultic things as well, but if you need to trust in these things - put your trust in it to help you - it means you do not fully trust God.
It means that you think that He is not enough when Scripture says He clearly is and we are already victorious through Jesus Christ because what He did on the cross is final. He said it is finished. And then Scripture says we have already received all spiritual blessings.
You just need to educate, study the Word, to understand what those things are. If you use occultic things, trust in it or even occultic spirits, then that is idolatry and God is against it because you are trusting in God's creation over the Creator, over God. Romans 1:22 says: Claiming to be wise they became fools and exchange the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.
Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator who is blessed forever, amen. And 1 John 5:21 says: Little children keep yourselves from idols. Now on the other side of this, there are also those who are totally against crystals and beautiful stones and certain things that God created.
They even don't want their family or their children to enjoy the beauty that God has created. Listen to me very closely. God created everything to be good and that includes crystals and beautiful stones.
Genesis 1:31: And God saw everything that He had made and behold it was very good. You see, you need to understand this. It is the evil nature within man, the sinful flesh, and also the fallen angels.
We are the ones who use God's beautiful creation that was good and we kind of use it for evil, just like music that can be used for good or evil. You know, I just moved recently to America and I'm surprised that there are so many people who enjoy and listen to rap music that sings about killing each other and it's got swear words everywhere. I mean if you put all of that in your head all the time it is going to change you so music can be used for evil.
Let's take a look at food. If you use it right it will sustain you, but with the sin of gluttony it will destroy your body. Now, we see that God uses stones for Himself as well, for His creation, even the new heaven, the new earth, the new Jerusalem.
We see that. We understand that. And He also used it for the tribes of Israel.
God made everything to be good and so if you want to appreciate God's beautiful creation, there is nothing wrong with that. His creation is there for us to enjoy. But its beauty is also there to point us to the creator - to God who made it all so perfectly.
So I want to to ask you today to move away from crystals and all other occultic things. Instead, focus on God. Grow in Him spiritually.
