one how many are young people here you're between the age of um 15 to let's say uh 30. let me show your hands up high stand up please all those between 15 and 30. wow lots of you Take take your seats i'm talking to all of you but i want the young people to pay attention my friend reinhard monkey and i were having dinner in israel recently and i began to talk to the gentleman who who was working with him about the price of the ministry very few people realized the price we have to pay
for the ministry and the price The people with us have to pay if they do not know that they'll betray you one day be careful you tell them what the price is before they start moving in the ministry is not a game because we've had many casualties in the ministry if i knew you listen to me well i am not just preaching i gotta get this through to you if i knew the price i would pay i Would never have accepted the call of god you listen good to what i'm telling you it's too late
for me now it's too late because i've tasted too much glory it's not turning back when you're in it no man puts his answer to the plan looks back is worthy many will come in that day to say lord lord have we not i never knew you because of Of the fact they broke trust so don't start in the ministry thinking it's all glory and wonderful things forget it the devil will aim at you to destroy you if you think it's a joke wake up but without paying the price there's no power on your life
either it comes with a price i'm going to give you the i'm going to give you the real deal tonight First of all every one of you is called but not every one of you is chosen the bible is very clear on what this means god will call you and watch how faithful you are and only then will he choose you for service many are called few are chosen because along the way the called blow it and are dismissed from service Disqualified but the moment he chooses you he will guard that anointing on you a
lot of people have come and gone in the ministry who were called and used but dismissed from service for disloyalty unfaithfulness and foolishness foolish They were foolish in the way they lived foolish in the way they treated the anointing they thought it was all a game are anybody listening here now what i'm going to teach you is what i will start as a young christian what i'm going to give you is the real thing if you want it do you want it lon cunningham came to to the catacombs And taught on total death to self

you second timothy 1 verse 9 says we're all called please go ahead who hath saved us and called us within holy calling and then ii peter 1 10. what does it say james wherefore the Rather brethren give dylan's diligence to make your calling and election sure everybody is called every christian is called but then you gotta stick with the call you can be faithful to the call the bible clearly states that god will put you through a test in fact a series of tests before you can ever qualify the first thing you must understand is
proverbs 23 26 Please read that for me will you this is the first step into the ministry the first step into the ministry is proverbs 23 26 my son give me thine heart stop give me what yeah god wants your heart to be his you gotta give him your heart you start serving him by giving him your heart that means you that means your emotions that means your Being that means your desires that means your will that means everything give it to him right your heart once given to jesus becomes his property it's no longer
yours my son gives me your heart and what does that say then and let thine eyes observe my ways that's it the first thing you do give him your Heart and then listen to him pay close attention to what his word says people don't really want to listen to the bible they don't listen to the portion where it says for example when elijah chose elijah elisha was required to destroy his business to qualify he was a farmer he destroyed the instruments that he was Using to farm with nobody today wants to leave their business for
jesus they want to have a business on the side he destroyed his farming instruments to prove how loyal he is to the call he burnt all the oxen to say i am through with my old life and elijah got angry at him for even wanting to say hello and well bye to his parents he said what have i got to do With you there is no mention in first kings 19 that elisha ever went home to say goodbye a man comes to jesus and says i'll follow you and the lord says foxes have holes and
birds have nests i can know to lay my head and i got no place for you because some people are rejected from the call but when the son of god says to a man follow me and the guy says let me go bury my father God says all right go let the dead bury the dead i don't need you god has no tolerance for such things if we refuse to call we will never be accepted the second time he he does not play games with that the call of god is a serious serious matter people
join ministries believing it's All glory it's not the call of god is a serious serious matter people join ministries believing it's all glory it's not right but when when you find somebody that is a potential chosen vessel you train them you start to train them i'm doing that now with one of our young people I'm training him preparing him for his tomorrow you you pour into these people i had a talk with my own son-in-law about that the the demands of the minister the price michael will have to pay he'll have no choice if he's
getting in you cannot change your mind halfway and say well i i i didn't know it's so hard no no once You're in you're stuck and god and i mean once you say yes to the call that's before the tests even begin and then the test begins and and and here's here's uh something that god will do with you the minute you say yes he'll try your heart in fact the bible says in deuteronomy 8 2 god tries the heart in jeremiah 17 10 god searches the heart In proverbs 21 2 god ponders the heart
jesus tested his disciples before he ever chose them ever you say how can i give you an example he's walking on the sea of galilee and wants to see if they want him in the boat or not so he makes it look like he gonna pass by Till they cried out he's on the road to emmaus there's a parting of the ways he tests them by wanting to go one way while they're going another and wait still till they see how demanding they become to keep him with them god wants to be forced into position
he loves a wrestling match with you He wants you to push him he wants you to urge him he's not easily convinced by your decision you can say yes to the lord and and he will he will he will pull away from you to see if you're going to come after him the bible has a an amazing statement about hezekiah in second chronicles it says god withdrew himself from him to see what was in his heart God pulled away from hezekiah to see what's in the heart of hezekiah god will pull away from you and
see how will will you run after him or say well i just won't bother when god calls he'll test he'll check your heart often he'll search it he'll look at it he'll test you every day he'll test your Times you're not even looking for it he'll pull away from you to see what you'll do with it he'll take his presence away from you to see what you'll do with it he'll send troubles your way to see what you'll do with that so here are the tests god will put you through write them down come on
i'm i'm going to save your life tonight you really want this right the first test is called a time test He'll just put you on the shelf he will shut every door in your face but see you just said to god i'm here use me here am i jesus calls you say yes lord gladly and you cry at the altar and lord thank you for your mercy and thank you for calling me and i'll give you my life and i'll do This and i'll do this and i'll do this and all of this and actually
you know he puts you on the shelf and ignores you that's test number one why does he do that come on very simple he's looking at your motives he's checking your motives the minute you go through this time test that's the time that god begins to purify the motives Inside of you sometimes we say to the lord i'm here but we our hearts are not our hearts are not pure so he'll he'll search our hearts by just shoving us off to some place some corner some shelf and just forgetting about us then you wait you
may have to wait a long time and now if you stick with it you'll discover that Your faith will grow god ignores you to build and grow your faith abraham and and i'm not going to give you every uh or read every scripture but i'm going to give it to you god called abraham when abraham was 75 years old by the time he had isaac he was a hundred that's 25 years of waiting In the meantime he almost messed up when he had ishmael because people sometimes don't want to wait 25 years is a long
time god gives him a promise and 25 years later he fulfills it during those 25 years abraham's faith grew abraham's faith was purified everything by abraham began to change And he became pleasing to god so god puts you through a time a season when you will not be called you will not be recognized you'll be ignored so what i'm called right but the first thing will be a season of silence so he calls abraham genesis 12 verse 4 he's 75 years old genesis 16 1-4 he makes a blunder and ends up taking hagar for a
wife and has ishmael by which time this is 10 years later it says it was 10 years later you can read it for yourself in uh genesis 16 it says after he had lived in the land 10 years then hagar comes along and Becomes his wife and so now he's 85 years old and then he's a hundred when isaac comes along by which time [Music] and it's amazing he almost gave up halfway remember he said to to god he said that let ishmael satisfy you in other words don't don't worry about isaac i'm fine with
him i'm fine with this man that's found in In genesis 17 where he says don't don't basically he said to god he said don't worry about giving me another son no he said thy seed shall be called in isaac meaning the messiah will come through isaac acknowledgement everybody goes through that i went through that everybody wants to rush into the Ministry you must understand god will put you through a season of waiting now at the same time as you're waiting these other tests come in god doesn't wait for the time test before he begins another
test he may begin that at the same time these tests all happen together are you listening so while while abraham was waiting 25 Years during that season god began to test him in other areas as you do god will test your knowledge of scripture the word will test you why you will face trials and tribulations and difficulties where you will have to rely on the promises things will hit you hard and there'll be nowhere else to go about the bible that's called the word test In other words suddenly uh disastrous things happen suddenly you are
persecuted or you are tried by your family or neglected by your parents or uh accused uh falsely and what you gotta do and this only place to go god will see where will they go when these troubles begin will they go away from me or will They come closer to me that's what happened to me god called me god called me ladies and gentlemen when i was 11 years of age nothing happened till i was 19. and then i got saved and my parents rejected me my own father sent me to a psychiatrist because he
said he thought i lost my mind my family persecuted me and my sister rose will Tell you that's what happened but in those painful three years that i went through with my family i had no place to go to but the word i had to see what the bible said about my condition situation troubles trials that's called the word test suddenly you dig into the word because there's no place else to dig You look to the scriptures because there's no place else to look i started reading this word when i got saved i began to
study it god is my witness i have diaries that i can show you that michael saw what i was i would write what god taught me when i was 19 years old i still have them Rich material you don't think all this preaching adam becomes because i read books dear god in heaven i've read the bible many times i go through this book at least at least twice a year when i read the bible it's it's it's the simplest thing for me now because i've read and re-read and re-read and re-read and re-read and i
don't believe in jumping to places I just read right through once i'm done i go right back and start all over again what else is there to go to but the bible but i started when i was a young man the church that was built in orlando ten thousand people why do you think they came because i sang hallelujah they came because of the word god will put you through a season where the word is the only place you can turn To now the bible tells me in psalm 105 verse 17 and through please would
you read that for me that joseph when he was sitting in that prison the word of god tested him in other words he had to rely on the promises that god gave verse 17 someone 105 please he sent a man before them even joseph who was a Was sold for a sermon in other words he had trials troubles keep going whose feet they hurt with fetters he was laid in iron until the time that his word came his word the word of god had to come to him he had to rely upon the promises keep
going the word of the lord tried him that's it in other words the word of god became His only source he had to lean only on the bible so god watches and says all right will they lean on the word or lean upon other things now the bible tells me and i'm going to say something here this is not easy to say but i'm going to say it god gives adam the office but eve the influence over the office So god says to him don't touch the fruit and she says eat and he obeys her
rather than god because what god gave women is the most powerful weapon for the kingdom or against the kingdom it's called influence the greatest preachers have wives that support them but the minute they lose the support of the wife They'll fall apart the price is paid by the one who travels and the one at home when billy graham traveled ruth said i'll pay the price to raise the children to back you up if you're gone for months at a time i asked oral roberts only days ago i said how often did you see evelyn he
said when i had my crusades i'd be gone at times for three weeks He said evelyn had to raise the children he said she would come for a day or two and go back he said without evelyn i would not have survived i said now doc and i asked him this i said i want you to tell me did she ever complain he said never did she ever make your life difficult never for she said to him before they were Married i'll pay the price with you wow that's why oral roberts is older roberts but
you gotta understand your position as a wife is support helpmate means you support and use your weapon of influence to glorify jesus to promote the gospel of jesus christ to support your husband's office god will reward you tremendously for that But today you've got you've got men who are called but the wives are not so i tell you young people who are not married before you find your wife find your call and then find your wife who fits the call not the other way around if you find a wife and then you're called the wife
may not fit the call make sure you find your call and then Find the woman who can fit in your call i'm just i just saved your marriage i just saved your future don't rush into marriage because of emotions don't rush into marriage because of beauty don't rush into marriage because she's nice to you don't rush into marriage because you want to get married Before a guy buys a car he checks the car to make sure it's the right car they never rush buying expensive things people make sure it's going to work and this and
this and that but into marriage they rush blindly and end up in trouble with god and their family why i think there's so many divorces Today nobody thinks about the price they have to pay to marry that lady or the price she has to pay to marry why i think there's so many divorces today nobody thinks about the price they have to pay to marry that lady or the price she has to pay to marry him what kind of marriage is she getting into what kind of call is on his life so you gotta understand
that it's a Serious decision so i advise the young people don't marry till you are absolutely sure you have found your call in god and the people said and by that time you've gone through that time test and you've gone through the word test Let me give you another test you will be tested on your ability to serve i call that the servant's test god will put you in a place to see are you willing to serve another man everybody wants to serve god we have to serve another pastor another ministry before we can be
Chosen by god god watches how do you treat his servants before he can even choose you elisha served elijah he served him in second kings 3 11 it says he became his servant he was called the servant of elijah i don't think anybody today in a ministry says i'm a servant they all want to be bosses not servants he was called the servant of elijah you have to serve a man of god and if The man of god says i need you and your wife says i need you you choose the man of god so
well i don't like that well then you don't belong in the ministry the call comes first i know that's raw that's hard that's tough stuff but it's the call of god never question the call of god or you're Called or it's a game now how many of you believe with all your heart that god really wants to use you put your hands up high are you willing to pay that kind of price the price that says the call comes first i am not turning back from the call of god on my life i won't let
family interfere That's the kind of call that very few are willing to get into the bible says that elisha served elijah possibly for years not days and elijah made life tough for elisha not only did god test elisha even elijah tested elisha by firing him three times In one day he's in gilgal he said stay here he said no i'm not he goes to bed and he says stay at oh no i'm not he goes to jericho and i'm not staying if you're going i'm with you if you're willing to serve god will test your
serving ability he'll see how much of a servant you'll be to a man of god oh we all want to serve god you know when i hire a few people now i say you You've got to know there's a man and the man of god i said it's very easy to serve them that man of god with the white suit out there because all you do is stand up and watch them but serving the man is a different story because it's the man who's very very difficult i said i want you to know i'm a
very unpredictable man I'm demanding and complex because men of god are strange you don't know when they're happy or they're mad you they can go up one morning all is well and they can get one phone call they can master day so i said hey listen you gotta tell the difference between the man of god and the man and only then you'll be safe so but never forget that man is still the man of god without the white suit if you cross that line and disrespect His office you're out right it's the office that matters
the office god gives that man an office you respect it brother you gotta pour this and you're gonna keep reminding him every day keep hitting him every day because people don't learn fast now another test are you ready for it the wilderness test oh yeah This is all happening in the same season god will put you through the most difficult period of your life the wilderness test means oh listen listen listen when moses went to the wilderness mikey god stripped egypt out of his being 40 years he was in that wilderness so the world that
he knew can be taken out of him in exodus 2 he leaves egypt Acts 7 29 30 says he stay he he was in the wilderness 40 years 40 years later egypt is out of him he said well how long will my test last as long as it takes to get the world out of you god will get the world out of your system i have no interest in this world i promise you i don't enjoy a thing about it we have to be lights in this world yes But have no fellowship with it god
will put you through the wilderness to get the world out of you to get egypt out of you to strip you out of the things you enjoyed that this world gave you and it means a time of difficulty a time when god will purify your very being and in those times you'll have no choice But to seek god and i believe the wilderness test is what will force prayer on your life i don't really know what kind of wilderness you may go through i know what i've what happened to me my wilderness test started when
my family pulled away from me because like i said to you it happens at The same season god will test you with time and test you with wordle but he also tests you with the wilderness i had no one to talk to but god god almighty even took away my friends from me they they they could no longer i could no longer have nothing in common any more and i began to pull away and and let me tell you something that wilderness test Is the most important test you'll go through because during that season it's
like it's like everything around you shuts out just like people pull pull away from you you begin to lose your friends you begin to lose people that you enjoy being with god will take him will take him away from i promise you he'll take them away From you things you you you were comfortable with you become very uncomfortable with and suddenly you're by yourself and prayer is now forced on your life that is the most important test you'll go through the bible tells us in proverbs 24 27 we must prepare To be used of god
24 27 of problems mr barack please you gotta prepare you gotta make ready you become a you adapt to the ministry you you train yourself and that's what i did as a young man if you want god to use you start preparing now don't wait till it's too late i began feeding upon the word of god i would listen to catherine crewman every night on radio from wheeling west Virginia up in toronto and you can almost hardly hear the the radio signal but i'd sit there and i would take notes and everything she said i
would write down i still have those notes i would go and listen to lauren come to lauren cunningham and i listened to koritam boom and i listened to ern baxter and i listened to bob mumford and i listened to the eric prince thank god In those days there was such wonderful bible teachers so you can learn a lot i attended a great church maxwell white was my pastor wow i mean to have natural light as a pastor was something tremendous now i know it's harder today because we don't have these mighty giants anymore but still
you can get their books you can listen to their tapes i still do and the thing is you gotta prepare yourself for ministry That's what the bible says in proverbs 24 27 please sir prepare thy work without and make it fit for thyself in the field yeah and afterwards build thine house exactly you prepare and then you build you you can't build the ministry till you prepare for it now let me also deal with something else that is extremely extremely important god almighty once god calls you he will he will he will allow you to
go Through tests these tests will prove if you are worthy to be chosen just that simple i went through those same tests in my life i can give it to you from the word and i can give it to you from what happened to me the first test when god calls you and if he really calls you and like we just read all are called say after me i am called say it again Okay now called doesn't mean you're going to end up in the ministry called belongs to all and then god will take you
through a process before he'll ever begin to use you and the process begins by a test that is called time time god puts you on the shelf for a long Time abraham was called when he was 75 but isaac came when he was 100. 25 years is a long time to wait for the promise now most of us will not have to wait that long but there is a season where god puts you on the shelf and the reason he does is to produce faith in your life Because time gives birth to faith as you
wait for god to use you you're still believing god has caused you faith begins to bubble in your soul and yes it's tough it will be very tough i'm not by any means saying it will be easier and and this is something that we just don't understand we say well why why must god put me through that to develop Faith why does god put you on the shelf to develop your faith because you hang on to the call now the call of god also demands another test this other test and i dealt with the first
one last night so i'm not gonna rehearse it this other test is where the word of god becomes your only Source you can call that the word test the word of god begins to be your only supply and now this all happens at the same time you are waiting it may be three years five years 10 years 20 years of waiting we never know how we you'll never know How long you have to wait until it's time and god will tell you when now here's what happened to me and this is i can take it
from the bible too because what happened to abraham why did he have to wait there was too much flesh in the way did you hear that the flesh had to die and submit before god can even move you cannot god cannot break through to you If there's too much of you in the way abram had to become abraham he had to die to the flesh as long as he was strong god said i won't touch him but when abraham became a hundred years old and could not produce a child god said now it's my time
so god has to wait till the flesh is out because no flesh shall glory in his presence because if if god begins to use you while your flesh is still strong Then you'll say i did it but when the flesh is dead god says now no flesh can glory because god receives all the glory and the people said so that's why we wait i had to wait and while you wait god begins to deal with you on things that are dear dearer to you that's what happened to abram he wanted to keep ishmael as the
one through whom the messiah would come And god said no in isaac shall thy seed be called thy seed means the messiah because he came together well you know let let ishmael be the man why worry about another son god says my choice is isaac not ishmael we always want to hang on to an ishmael when god wants to give us an isaac you gotta give up ishmael and i hate to tell you it's a tough thing to do hey andrew come here a second come here This young man works for reinhardt monkey last night
we sat up and talked for a long time get a microphone andrew ronald bunker said to me said would you talk to my guys about the ministry so he came and i asked him some questions last night how old are you 25 25 what did i tell you last last night about the price you have to pay tell them the price i have to pay is the fact that I give up i die to myself to take on the call of god yeah to help rahul banky go around the world you have not been home
since last christmas correct you're a single man correct with your kind of schedule if you get married you will probably destroy your marriage correct that's what i told you now they take off and go for like 41 days at a time they were on a trip 41 days no marriage can survive that It's impossible unless your wife is just as cold as you that's the thing that happens today the man is called his wife is not and then they have a problem i said to him last night i said if you want to have a
successful marriage with this kind of schedule that you keep i said yo i'd better be called as much as you are and as committed to monkey as much as you are or otherwise it will not work now he's doing it right He found his call before he found his wife the problem is many people get married and then they find the call forget it brother it's not gonna work don't find the wife and then hope she'll fit in the call find the call and make sure she fits with the call that's the way it works
and the people said i'm saving your life kid saving your life So i said to andre i said andrew with this kind of schedule he's gone from home he's with ronald monkey every single day seven days a week he takes care of the man of god and i was really rough on him last night but he was handling it well but the thing is this god is going to honor you now you probably went through some of this stuff i'm talking about the time test where You said oh my god what am i here for
what am i supposed to do and then the word of god began to test you don't you tell me that you didn't have to rely on god's promises absolutely yeah a whole lot of time now here's the third thing now here's the third thing that's going to happen to which i'm about to talk talk about they used to stick around because you are a mighty example of what i'm teaching about The word of god will test us in such a way where god will allow us to experience what joseph experienced we will be betrayed accused
forgotten ignored and possibly end up in some horrible pit he was he had his spit we we will have ours the minute that happens to you there's only one place to Go to call the word of god what is it called so you have had to rely on the bible yes sir there's been times i am very sure when things got really rough and tough in nigeria absolutely yeah now you've been like give us give them just one trip where you were where you were 41 days you were going to what countries the uk germany
denmark Johannesburg durban hong kong singapore and taiwan all in one trip all one trip you didn't go home no sir you slept in all kinds of places all different places you're in nigeria every month for 10 days absolutely you've been to one of some of the worst locations in the world with a man of god who is very demanding on you who's a driver just like me yeah if you want to work with a man of god Make sure make sure to understand one thing about him he's unpredictable and he'll drive you you better be
ready for it too now this man has experienced this but the word of god is the test that he's gone through and you'll go through because god will look at you and say i'm wondering now how well will they handle trials he'll watch how you handled your time on The shelf when you were ignored while your faith was growing while the flesh was dying and then are you listening glad just wanted to make sure and then he'll watch the way you handle trials and brother he's had his trials but the thing is he has had
to rely on the word of god now here's the third thing i'll put you Through he'll watch how well you serve that man before he'll ever use you one of these days you're going to end up in your own ministry you know that right yes sir how well you know that i know 110 okay now you're not chosen yet bonkey is chosen you're not you're called to serve him but if you stay faithful god will choose you one day to Follow in his footsteps god did not choose gershom he chose joshua to be moses's assistant
and then led the people of israel into egypt it's amazing sometimes the children don't really make it are you listening we all want our children to follow in our footsteps don't count on it it depends on will they be as faithful as a joshua so Here you are you're not bonky's son you're not his flesh and blood but you're the guy with him 24 hours a day seven days a week yeah now you're not chosen yet just remember that he's the chosen vessel you're not you're the cold vessel but along the way be careful you
know what i told them last night i know this is not something you want to tell a young man I said how long have you been with bunky he said two years i said if you should leave him now god will destroy you did i not say that to you yes sir yeah that's in the bible if you forsake a man of god after giving him your your commitment god will destroy you you say where is it in the bible oh i'll give it to you if you want [Applause] i gave him the scriptures I

elisha's servant who betrayed his master what happened to him leprosy struck him god doesn't play games with that stuff you forsake a man of god god will come after you god is gets very angry more angry than His servants god became more angry than moses against miriam and aaron it took moses to save aaron it took moses to save miriam jesus made an amazing statement about judas it would be better to have that he was not born that's what he said about him you almost wonder why did jesus say that i mean judas is in
hell like everybody Else who's in hell how come he's got it worse because jesus said it would have been better for him to have for him to have not been born brother you betray the son of god you're going to suffer a whole lot worse than anybody else that's that's serious stuff the ministry is not a game you'll go through a time test where god will destroy your flesh Build your faith you'll go through the word test where to see how reliable you are will you rely on the word of god or rely on your
own strength will you receive the promises or just go for counseling because when trials and troubles hit the word is your only source and god will watch and say let me see if they if they rely on the word of god but here's Something else the third thing that god will put you through that is it happens every single time he will see are you a servant in your heart or is it all a bunch of baloney do you really mean it when you say i'm here to serve oh he'll test you all right here
to serve doesn't mean well let me just carry your briefcase on your suit And look good behind you to serve means literally serve and when you serve andrew you have to give up a whole lot of things you got to give up friends you got to give up time for yourself you have to give up time with your mom and dad because the bible says when men were called they didn't even have a chance to go home and say bye sir I know it's rough i'm sorry it's it's the bible the lord calls a man

mean that submission means i submit your authority to protect me it's for protection when a woman says to her husband i submit your authority she submits because he adores her she submits because he loves her and she submits that he might protect her not destroy her i'm gonna understand Put your hands up high how many ladies how many of you ladies would love to submit to a man who adores you or protect you day and night and take care of you 24 hours a day and never once say anything mean to you gladly you'll submit
because you'll submit not that he can rule you you'll submit so he might protect you you become his baby his girlfriend that the best friend he has got in the World is his wife come on that's the way it is it's confident exactly that's what the bible teaches but in some cases today you you don't see that i'm talking to this kid about the call of god and i said make sure your wife comes from godly soil dolly mother godly heritage on both sides then you'll have no trouble but at the same time i said
make sure she is as called as you are to Serve monkey or otherwise you're gonna have trouble now the servant's test is is god it's and you're going through it now god is gonna test your limit in serving a man of god men of god are unpredictable number one Number two write this down if you're gonna work with him with a preacher you might as well know that number two man of god sometimes will pull away from you they pull away because of pressure on their life they pull away because god is calling them to
pull away like elijah pulled Away from his servant he left him in beersheba to go down to horeb and and so you got to be a support your your job is to support that man of god no matter what is going through with him you're to support him that's what the servants here sit down here this is what the servant's test is all about god is honestly he's going to put you in a place to see How will he serve is he willing to serve the man when the man is not pleasant to serve i
tell my guys there is a man of god and there's the man the man of god is very easy to serve because he's the guy who's on the platform singing hallelujah wearing a white suit that's marvelous but the man Who's not the white suit who's not on the platform who takes a walk on the beach like you sometimes walk with bunkie because he lives in florida uh that man can be extremely difficult at times when we're in the crowds we're okay when we're alone we're in trouble because the most difficult thing for a man of
god is when he's not with the with with his people when he's not with His family he's by himself and and and there are there are troubles struggles in his own heart and mind i woke up just recently i prayed had a marvelous time i was singing in the spirit loving the lord and the phone rang and when the phone rang i was given news that destroyed nearly destroyed everything that happened that morning In prayer and and thank god that prayer can keep you but when these things hit you from nowhere it's very difficult to
know how to handle it i'm in cyprus ready for a crusade when i get the news i'm being investigated by the u.s senate now you tell me can prayer help of course but I needed at that time someone to say i believe in god with you you need support when when you hear that the senate of the u.s is is investigating your life and you're going to wonder if you're going to survive this thing that these things hit you out of nowhere so what do you do not only can you look it's important to know
jesus but it's important to also have people like uh caleb and joshua That hold your hand in battle i'm gonna understand put your hands way up way up high moses knew god but he needed the calebs and the joshuas jesus in his moment needed peter james john in the garden come on even the son of god had to go through that so that's what what what he'll go through he may go through go through a gethsemane he may go through a battle with amalek he may go through battles he'll never talk to you about Because

his weakness his weaknesses his strength on the day anointing you missed what i said shall i say that again what makes you surrender to god your Sensitivity to god allows the anointing to come on you that same sensitivity is a liability outside the anointing did you hear that because that same sensitivity that brings them the anointing on you can literally destroy you away from the anointing because suddenly you're you you're open to other things besides the anointing because you're see god uses the same person the same personality So your sensitivity is your asset under the
anointing and liability away from it this is where you need to protect the man of god from that liability that's i just gave you a key don't miss it don't miss it don't miss it because that sensitivity makes him very vulnerable makes him he can be attacked very easily he can turn against himself very easily Paul the apostle made an amazing statement andrew and it was one of the one of the most painful cries in the bible all men have forsaken me he said boy that's that's to tear your heart if you really look at
it because he's in prison with no support and then he makes this statement he said in philippians he said no man like timothy Is like-minded that word like-minded is like sold in other words he and i have the same soul timothy was his only strength in times of difficulty you're a timothy to monkey sometimes people walk away from you when you're going through a problem this is the time they gotta have someone right there so god will put you through the servant's test and test your limit he will the man of god will pull on
Every ounce of strength in you to stay strong in in in such times so i'm in the car in cyprus i'm on the cell phone when i hear i'm under investigation by the u.s senate the next day i have a miracle service i'm thinking my god how can i minister tomorrow with this news thank god my brother henry was right there you know what henry did He grabbed my hand like this he said benny i'm with you you talk about strength all you need is that guy to say i'm here it's instant strength and then
he looked at me he said tomorrow will be a glorious service don't let these things bother you you gotta hear it from somebody what if henry wasn't there what if my own brother didn't grab my hand to say Hold on we're not gonna fail with this one brother it gives you energy it gives you strength god will test that in you that's what a servant is supposed to do are you listening god is going to test your servant's ability because most people don't want to serve all right number four i gave it to you last
night Wilderness you'll go through the wilderness why what is the wilderness the wilderness is the place of temptation you'll be you'll be tempted god will test you to the limit with temptation temptations develop our sensitivity to the spirit of god So what i'll say it again when you are tempted i'll use andrew again i hope i'm not embarrassing you god will allow you to be tempted in in in in areas you've not been to being tempted in before because when you are called like this the devil will target you and and there'll be there'll be
Temptations come at you because you're single you're with the man of god all the time you see his flaws like most people don't you see his ups and downs you see his trials there'll be temptations that may come at you where it happens it's happened before and god will watch what you do with that Temptations will come at you off hmm though he sure needs me doesn't he i am more important to him than his family hmm i can write a book one day about that make money these thoughts may hit your mind you say
well never no no your flesh and blood the devil will throw things at you and he'll watch god will watch how you handle all that Now a true called man will say get behind me devil true man of god will reject these thoughts and temptations people even will come and and and try to get information out of you because you're the closest thing to him that's what god will test but when you submit to the lord you you immediately become and i'm going to say this you develop a radar for the holy ghost Because as
these things die in you because you said no as these things die in you a a an amazing um holy spirit radar comes into your being where you begin to learn the ways of the spirit god puts us through the wilderness to teach us the ways of the spirit and when that happens it's you're gonna go through it for a Time a lot of people fail in that area they can pass the time test the word test the servant's test when it comes to that one test of wilderness they just blow it because it's too
strong and that god will test in your life now i'm i'm showing you the steps to the place where god will choose you for your own ministry Number five god will then allow you to go through another place that i didn't deal with last night you may be in by now three years four years five six seven maybe even ten years by now you're already in that call season you're serving the man of god and such things like that and and you you will begin to question when is my time coming I've served this man
for the last 10 years of my life i've been faithful i've been steady i've been steadfast i've been there for him i've given up family i've given up my time with my children i've given up thanksgivings and i've given up christmases and i've given up and suddenly what hits them is i've given so much up for that man what do i get back for it that season is called Patience you must prove you're a patient man prove it to god you're gonna wait till your time comes this is not your time this is his time
as long as he's ministering it's not you i'm here use me here am i jesus calls you say yes lord gladly and you cry at the altar and lord thank you for your mercy and thank You for calling me and i'll give you my life and i'll do this and i'll do this and i'll do this and all of this and actually you know he puts you on the shelf and ignores you that's test number one why does he do that come on very simple he's looking at your motives he's checking your motives the minute
you go through this time test That's the time that god begins to purify the motives inside of you you will face trials and tribulations and difficulties where you'll have to rely on the promises things will hit you hard and there'll be nowhere else to go about the bible that's called the work test in other words suddenly a Disastrous things happen um suddenly you are persecuted or you are tried by your family or neglected by your parents or uh accused falsely and what you got to do and this only place to go god will see where
will they go when these troubles begin will they go away from me or will they come closer to me god will put you through a season where the word is the Only place you can turn to you will be tested on your ability to serve i call that the servant's test god will put you in a place to see are you willing to serve another man everybody wants to serve god we have to serve another pastor another ministry before we can be Chosen by god god watches how do you treat his servants before he can
even choose you he said well how long will my test last as long as it takes to get the world out of you god will get the world out of your system i have no interest in this world i promise you i don't enjoy a thing about it we have to be light in this world yes But have no fellowship with it god will put you through the wilderness to get the world out of you to get egypt out of you to strip you out of the things you enjoyed that this world gave you and
it means a time of difficulty a time when god will purify your very being and in those times you'll have no choice But to seek god and i believe the wilderness test is what will force prayer on your life that is the most important test you'll go through you're already in that call season you're serving the man of god and such things like that and and you you will begin to question when is my time Coming i've served this man for the last 10 years of my life i've been faithful i've been steady i've been

gives us the answer in second corinthians 4 where he says don't put your eyes on the natural put your eyes on heavenly things number seven there will be times before god will ever Choose you there will be times you will be discouraged to the limit you would want to die discouragement is a part of the season be before god ever will choose a man you'll get to the place where you get so discouraged like elijah you'll say it's better to just quit right now i don't want to go on anymore i can't handle it i
cannot handle the time the the travels the wear and tear on my body I cannot handle the um the unpredictable man that i can figure out one day is this one day is that i i can't handle this i've given up this blah blah blah and you get to the place you get so discouraged that's just a part of the process if i'm discouraging you from the ministry it's because you're not called but if you're called you'll stick with it And the people said so so uh why does god allow discouragement to to to help
you refocus on the call it's the reason you focus back on the call when you're discouraged frustration comes that you might re-examine your priorities Discouragement comes that you might refocus on the call of god did you hear that number eight you were almost there you're almost chosen by now number eight the devil never takes vacations before god ever chooses you that devil will attack you therefore you'll go through a season called War the war test this is where god will test your fighting abilities because if you can't win prior to your being chosen you're going
to lose on the other end you've got to win the war prior to serving the lord prior to being in your own ministry why the warfare you develop Your spiritual weapons during that season you begin to develop your spiritual weapons you begin to develop your warfare abilities i went through that right prior god i know in my life i can take it to the place to the spot i went through those ten tests in three years three years all it took Before god said all right it's time let's go now i pray that's how long
and i served a man named jim porter i took care of that man and he would say to me benny why are you doing this i said because god is watching and i want to make sure i prove myself faithful to the lord he was a free motherless preacher who took me with him i would go with him everywhere he would preach and i carried That accordion it was heavier than me but i served him and then he had a stroke and and and i even stayed with him then he died and went to be
with with the lord later and he became a father to me in the spirit i serve that man i will tell you i'm i'm standing here and before the god i serve if jim was alive today i would still serve him even though i'm in my own ministry i Still serve him because i don't believe you quit serving no way never so warfare will come at you you'll develop your weapons of war and there's only one way out of warfare walk in the spirit walking in the spirit defeats every enemy number nine i hope you're
learning something Number nine right right before god uses you the last test is your vision god will test your vision he will come back to the vision of your life nehemiah chapter one i'm not going to give you because we're almost out of time nehemiah 1 1-11 nehemiah 2 1-6 we see nehemiah's vision tested his vision was to rebuild the walls His vision was to rebuild the temple his vision was tested michael to the limit enemies arose tried to stop him from rebuilding so he would build with one hand fight with the other your vision
becomes blurred by by girlfriends or friends or people that come in your way that try to steal away what god really wants to do with you And you gotta stick with your vision and your vision will be tested now when you can prove to god that you still hold on to that vision you're almost there your vision will be tested right habakkuk 2 verse 1 through 3 talks about the vision what you must do with the vision in fact can i give it to you quickly i said can i give it to you quickly okay
let's go to habakkuk please mr brock you Turn to habakkuk uh chapter two read for me verse one two and three and i'll tell the people right now what they must do with this vision okay let's have a quick chapter two verse one two and three i will stand upon my watch and set me upon the tower and will watch to see what he will say unto me and what i shall answer when i am reproved And the lord answered me and said write the vision now the first thing you do when when your vision
is retested rewrite it down here's what god has called me to do because god will has has targeted your life for a minister of your own that's the vision for your life in the meantime you've been called to Serve another man you you're walking on that road and the last thing god will do before your own ministry is birth is your vision will be tested you write it down number two make it plain upon a table plain you make it plain means you rehearse it to yourself to make sure you understand the vision for your
life it is not foggy it is plain it is simple You target it number three that he may run that readeth it now the third thing you do to see a vision fulfilled is go after it but these are the things you do when you refocus the vision your vision will be attacked tested that's the last thing that happened before god promotes you the minute you refocus on that vision write it down make it clear go for it now comes the last and final test you Will be tested and here's what i call this test
god will test your ability in promoting you in other words it's a promotion test he'll see can this man handle exaltation can he handle promotion can he handle it when he gets on the platform and people start clapping because the man of god like a monkey may have you minister one day That's the promotion test that's saying to you you've proven yourself faithful to me such come preach a message suddenly god will watch let's see how he handles that will he become proud arrogant will he think to himself um i can replace bunker now just
push him out of the way god will see that in you he'll test your Heart remember i gave you last night god tests the hearts proverbs 23 26 says give him your heart he'll test it he'll ponder the heart he'll search the heart jeremiah 7 17 tells us god searches the hearts now when that time for promotion comes god will see how you handle it my promotion moment came i'll never forget it as long as i live i was in toronto canada at a Little methodist church outside toronto a fellow who was a missionary in
honduras asked me to come with him he was preaching on a sunday morning that was the first time ever i was behind a pulpit i wasn't in the ministry yet i wasn't in a healing ministry yet i had no ministry i was still serving jim pointer and this dear precious missionary said Benny come up and and and and speak first of all i used to stutter so i couldn't talk anyways which was a marvelous blessing at that moment i just stood there and amazingly i was able to pray a very short prayer when i sat
down and he said but i wanted you to minister what i said to him i said this is not my time this is your service i respect your office i cannot take from you what doesn't belong to me And i believe god looked at it and said hmm good boy because if i if i stepped in and pushed him out and began to preach and thought it was my service think i'll just be canceled out of the way be careful how you handle that last uh moment that test if i i'm i'm going to say
something that May not be understood but i'll say it god is very sensitive about that don't dishonor his servant don't dishonor his servant by taking away from him his mantle before he gives it to you remember that elijah's mantle fell from the chariot elisha didn't say to him give it to me before you go he would have lost his office Did you hear what i just said elijah was on his way to heaven and elisha said give me i want a double portion now some people will say wait wait wait elijah don't go yet before
i get the mantle now please had elisha asked elijah for the mantle that was on his body he would have been dismissed from the call but while the chariot was up the mantle was given to him by itself God will give you the mantle you won't have to pull it off the man's shoulder did you hear that that's called the promotion test he'll promote you he'll give you a moment in the light bunkie is a gracious man he'll say come on minister i need i i would love to bless you don't pull the mantle off
