what's up guys got a quick video here had uh two chillers down earlier this one had a bad flow switch uh it wasn't that old I swapping it out got it up and going um right now I've got it off so I'm trying to uh let this one run we had uh lot of oil alarms and cuz our uh condenser it's pretty cold uh this water on the floor is for me purging some water that piece of trunk is leaking at the bottom of this [Music] Barrel sweating like a pig nice and cold so what
I've done just turned off the tower [Music] fans set it down to 40% trying to let it run unloaded here and warm up that condenser barrel uh seems to be helping it's bringing back some oil it would have been shut off by now but we're at uh 88 entering 91 leaving I'll bring it up a little bit more and then I might cyle the fans on a little bit but trying to give this thing some run time bring that oil back so I went ahead and shut this drive off so we don't have any fans
running out there and current temperature on this one 88° get a little go and uh seems to be helping I'm hoping that's all that's wrong uh Chiller was down for days before they even realized it um probably at least a week or so U with the two chillers running here uh it's Overkill so and it's been cold out lately so I think all that combination uh caus that oil to [Music] migrate starting to build some decent [Music] pressure all right so I'm going to go ahead and turn that drive back on for the tower fan
my uh entering was getting over 90 and leaving was like 95 so just let it run I'm just going to sit here and babysit this and then we'll start to bring it slowly back up um I'll bring up that percentage so that it's higher than 40 we'll bring it up to 50 60 G [Music] up all right let's see what we got [Music] [Music] yeah I'm going to kick that fan off again we're getting cold again all right so I went ahead and raised this uh condenser water temp to 84 had it set on 80
um just trying to get that temperature to build up in there and Chiller is staying online now I have a feeling we're definitely getting the oil back I mean that's water on the floor it's not oil so the oil is still in the chiller I look it's just in here so I'm just trying to get it all pushed back through the system um I had this out earlier you can just barely see it trickling through there uh it would run for less than a minute all right so I raised the uh current limit to 50%
it was at 40 so our condenser temp 81 and 85 [Music] all right a little bit I'm going to bring it up to uh 60 and then keep on going up all right so our Approach at the moment's three and 91 uh 90° saturated uh so we're getting [Music] there [Music] all right we're going to bring it up to [Music] 60 all right starting to build some [Music] heat [Music] for all right it's been about 15 minutes we're going to go up to 70 all right we're moving on up 80 [Music] all right I've got
it up to 90 now we're 53 entering 47 leaving uh 75% running [Music] load and we're sitting about 3 3.2 3 just keeps jumping on the approach but it comes back down and ends up [Music] 1.7 all right so that Barrel is definitely feeling better no more [Music] sweating and our Chiller is staying online now so I think it's safe to say got some oil [Music] back and I've gone ahead put it back to 100% 52 entering 45 leaving 86 entering condenser 96 [Music] leaving very darn close all so I'm going to go ahead and
set that back to 82 Drive is running 100% And this one ready this is for our Chiller number two and we'll go ahead and turn this back on leaving waterers 45 entering 53 so the ones carrying the load right [Music] now all right it's going to do it I'm uh going to leave it here I'll follow up probably tomorrow on it and uh see if she's still working uh the weather outside's been getting warmer so I don't think that'll be a factor come tomorrow all right back here a follow-up visit uh next morning and discharge
super Heats 32 uh our water temperature actually 47 entering 43 leaving could see here a little [Music] better does have uh quite a bit of hours on it yeah so we're still running and uh it's like all the oil came back so what happened temperatures got so cold out uh and I think this Chiller had just sat off and that oil migrated out so I said with the two chillers it's a bit Overkill and they also have a production going on right now where they're changing out air handlers throughout the whole campus so it's not
