These Ancient Relics Are So Advanced They Really Shouldn't Exist

technology is something that has literally driven Humanity forward since its most basic of times Greek Cosmos geocentric cover plate in the middle as representing the Earth and everything goes around it with each advancement in technology whether it was Weaponry agriculture city building medicine or the arrival of the computer age things have gotten overall better and the perception is that this is not going to change however a misconception is that because our technological age people of historic periods of the past can't match what we have now but is that really accurate some would disagree as various

pieces of ancient technology have become Unearthed over the years and they may be far more impressive than you realize or even want to admit with that in mind here now are 20 ancient relics that are so Advanced they shouldn't exist [Applause] number 20 the salsberg cube I'm going to begin this video with something that has baffled people for quite a long time I'm starting with something that's known as an out ofpl artifact it's called that because where people find it doesn't exactly match up with what's around it or the people who live there or the

tools that they would have used to make it this is the salsburg cube and you may also know it as the wolf's egg iron we start this taale with where it was found a Tria in a coal seam that was apparently 20 million years old what makes this object so strange to a lot of people is really for a whole lot of reasons if you look at it it looks like a heap of iron which it technically is and yet it was clearly designed in a certain way it has both flat sides and convex sides

and there's also a cut that goes inward from the top to the bottom now at first some thought that it was actually a meteorite fragment which would explain a lot except that it was later definitively proven to not be that there were also people who claimed for one reason or another that it was made by a machine but that was also easily debunked that brings us to where the salsberg cube is right now nobody has any idea now seriously it was on display in a museum and then it kind of just simply vanished before it

vanished they made a cast of the item and now that cast is what's being studied so what can be made out of all of this well first off we do know that the salsberg cube is real there's no debating that but outside of that and certain analysis that prove that it is from this planet we have absolutely no idea about its history why it was formed what it was potentially made to be used for or represent and everything in between it's a basic possibility that somehow the planet itself had made the artifact which would not

be unheard of given what the Earth has formed over the centuries and Millennia but until we can find the salsburg cube once again and do a deeper analysis nobody can say for certain and thus the mystery and the conspiracy around the cube just continues to grow now it's time for the fancy topic for today's fancy topic the point is to show you how these ancient relics are so Advanced they really shouldn't exist but I'm also going to show you ones that both could and likely didn't exist at times like with this picture right here as

you can see this is a picture showing off a curiously blurred diver next to what could only be described as a really weird looking statue head and it's needless to say that I don't think that the picture is real but the story behind it might not be as false as the image here's the thing the ocean has swallowed up a whole lot of things over the course of history and that's why people try to go down into the waters all over the place be it big or small to try and find things that may have

ended up sunken or submerged below the depths to that end we do know that things like statues and even entire cities have been lost beneath the waters as we found them all over the the course of many years but do I think that something like this monstrous statue could have lived down in the waters of the world somewhere honestly maybe if you think about it Humanity has built statues of impressive Heights weights and shapes all over the world look at places like Egypt and China and even America to a lesser extent and when it comes

to craftsmanship cultures of all types will go all out in order to make a peace stand out from the rest I grant you that this one is much more creepy than some of the other ones that you've seen but that doesn't make it any less plausible it just means that we don't know why they decided to Fashion something in this way plus if we were to scour the entire ocean and see whether something like this existed down there it would be hard to write off as always you can comment down below by using the #

was somehow inside the stone and The Rock looked really really old eventually they or their son or someone else depending on how the Stories being told had cracked That Rock open and that's when they found what looked like a modern tool inside of this so-called ancient rock that created quite the contradiction because how could a rather young looking Hammer end up in a piece of old rock naturally it led to some making wild conclusions including one creationist who had tried to say that this would prove that Evolution was false while we don't touch that claim

I will say that this wasn't a weird instance of time travel or even proof of an ancient civilization based on the looks and the makeup of the hammer it was from the 19th century and somehow it just got dropped into some rock that enveloped it rather quickly now admittedly it's a weird artifact but it just stays that being a weird thing and sometimes weird is fine number 18 the Eline antenna how about another tale of people seeing what they want to see after all it's a popular thing that can happen especially when you're not really

sure what you're looking at in the first place and you're trying to make sense of something that seems almost to be senseless this all begins with a ship called the alanan it was an icebreaker ship for the United States before it got recommissioned as a research vessel that was dedicated to going to Antarctica a reason for this matters and it was equipped with various equipment to help monitor things collect samples and photograph the ocean floor by 1964 it was doing a mission off the coast of Cape Horn South Africa when it took a picture of

the floor and every everyone who looked at this picture saw something rather out of place about 4,000 M below the surface was a device that many had interpreted to be like an antenna it wasn't like the ones from civilization at the time though and it had a similar shape naturally when people saw it they all began freaking out as that kind of antenna would not have been lost at sea or would have likely been used on various sea vessels so how exactly did it get there the answer is that it wasn't an antenna at all

in 1971 it was revealed that this so-called antenna was actually a unique kind of carnivorous sea sponge yes apparently those do exist and so the thought that it was an antenna was debunked by people who actually heard the information it wasn't until 2003 that the debate would finally be put to bed for good as the information became more widespread what it all goes to prove is that just because something looks like something familiar doesn't mean that you know what it is you have to look at all of your options and not just go with what

seems to be the best for your Notions if you can't take the hint there were some people who thought that this was an alien device and it wasn't so we will just simply move on number 17 the NASA lines now I've shown you a couple of things that aren't as they appear but now I'll show you one that is exactly what it appears to be and that's what makes it all that more mysterious and arguably terrifying this is the tale of the NASA lines these lines are actually geoglyphs that were put into the ground by

the ancient nasca people in Peru you will find them in the aply titled NASA desert and while making geoglyphs in the ground isn't really odd at first it's the size and shape of these glyphs that have puzzled people over the years there are at least 100 of them and they are absolutely huge and if you look at all the lines that were used to make these geoglyphs it would comprise about, 1300 km now admittedly some are just lines or basic shapes but then when you go up into the sky or even the nearby Hills you're

going to see that many of these nascal lines actually form complex shapes and patterns some of them are animals some are humanlike and some are shapes that nobody fully recognizes the true mystery of the nasca lines regards their construction and purpose generally it's accepted that they used basic yet precise building techniques which included digging in certain areas and using ropes in order to ensure that their straight line and such lined up to keep things looking how they wanted them to be however that doesn't cover how they were able to make such large shaped geoglyphs without

advanced technology especially since they wouldn't have been able to see the finished result from the ground not to mention why in the world did they feel the urge to make such a thing some feel that it was a tribute to their gods or Heavenly shapes While others think that they may have been tributes to things that were in their area of the time it's honestly hard to say and that's what makes them even more fascinating this is easily one of the greatest construction projects that the world has ever seen and nobody knows everything there is

to know about it number 16 the okama skeleton now you may be waiting for another possible alien finding and I'm going to give you one it's the okama skeleton this is a real skeleton that was found in Chile with in the otama desert and as you can tell it doesn't look like the skeleton of a real human being it appears to be misshapen deformed and so on and upon first glance when it was analyzed scientists concluded that it was the skeletal remains of a young human fetus that had suffered multiple mutations within itself like dwarfism

scoliosis and more so that's why it doesn't look like it should however as you may have guessed some people were not fine with that explanation and other scientists decreed that it was without mutations and just look like this and that led to all kinds of talk about aliens the subject was so hotly debated that the ocama skeleton was later placed into a movie about aliens and another test by a Stanford geneticist had to be done to clear up any misconceptions and speculation sure enough he found that skeleton to be human and not of alien origin

number 15 Viking Penny if you're looking for a story that has a nice mystery around it that at least tracks in some circles then let's have a look at the Viking Penny which is also known as the main Penny or the garded coin this all begins with a man named guy melgren an amateur archaeologist who was offered a piece of property to look around in the Gard site named after the man who gave him the chance to dig became the home of melgren and his friends adventures and excavation and surely enough on their second summer

of doing the Dig they then found some ancient fire pits knives and a coin that looked very old at first they claimed that it was from the 12th century England which would rewrite history in more ways than one however upon further analysis the coin was found not to be from England but from Norway in fact it was an Olaf cure silver coin and that's important because that coin was made from 1065 to 1080 ad so it points to perhaps early Vikings having roots in Maine for a time or maybe that another person had that coin

and then lost it there it's truly hard to really know without actually going back in time but as you can see even the most simple of coins can get people talking about what really happened in history number 14 the Baghdad battery this is a classic artifact that many people are still debating even to this day the Baghdad battery was a discovery of a ceramic pot a tube of copper a rod of iron all placed together in a way that was both incredibly strange and yet kind of familiar the period that this was made in was

reportedly around 200 ad and once it was discovered to potenti have been some kind of ancient battery everyone then lost their minds after all how would the ancient people of Baghdad been able to have come up with such a device during that time and equally as important why would they have had such a device in their civilization nobody really knows what had led to them making it but there have been many speculations and tests about what it might have been used for even MythBusters did an episode on it and found that it could have been

used for acupuncture which was around in that period electroplating or even thinking that you've had a Godly experience sadly the batteries themselves were lost during the Iraqi War and so they cannot be studied any further number 13 the antia mechanism of all the devices that I've shown you so far you could argue that the antia mechanism is the one that is not only ancient but is a relic that shouldn't really exist the reason for that being is that this by all accounts is the world's first analog comp computer that's right analog and not digital which

would be weird for a whole lot of reasons the antia mechanism was found off of an island of Greece via a shipwreck and as they examined that device they found out that people could use this computer to put in dates and get analysis on what would be going on in the skies above such as with finding key constellations knowing about when eclipses were going to take place and more oh and did I mention that they made this in 100 BCE if not older not only does that make the ancient Greeks much smarter than most would

agree that they were it also puts all kinds of things into some kind of crazy question for example how did they figure out how to build such a computer and how did they get it to be so precise with its calculations how many of these did they actually build nobody honestly knows but it definitely makes more modern people look a little bit dumb that the Greeks could do this around 2,000 years ago and actually get it to work number 12 the luris cup I'm showing you a cup right now in fact I'm showing you the

luris cup this is an ancient Roman cup that comes from the 4th century and it's very special for a particular reason and that's because it's glass specifically it's made of a special type of glass that shows a different color depending on whether or not the light is passing through it it's red when lit from behind behind and green when lit from in front and that's a pretty cool trick and by all accounts it's the only glass of its kind in the world today or at least one that's fully made and not shattered equally as important

is that I'm not entirely sure how the glass was made or how the ancient Romans had figured out how to do this impressive color shifting technique but what is known is that things like gold and silver were mixed into the glass to give it that change but how the Romans figured it out nobody really knows some that it may have been by accident but given everything that we know about ancient cultures at this point perhaps they were just smarter than we want to give them credit for number 11 the voyich manuscript now we go from

something that is undeniably beautiful to something that is undeniably strange Meet The Voyage manuscript one of the most perplexing pieces of text in the whole of human history and yes we know that that's saying something but we do mean it the voyage manuscript RP is quite strange because nobody knows who wrote it and nobody knows what it says it's definitely something that wasn't meant to be picked up and simply read but in addition to that it's also not for lack of trying people have actually attempted to decode it over the years but nobody has had

any kind of success it also doesn't help that the drawings were made in this manuscript are weird as well discovered in 192 by Wilfred Voyage who was an Antiques book seller the manuscript is written in an unknown known language and adorned with strange and Fantastical illustrations and even after extensive study everything Still Remains elusive it consists of approximately 240 pages that are full of drawings and diagrams and illustrations of naked women in elaborate tubs that are connected by intricate Plumbing perhaps this is just one of those relics that is best left to be a mystery

number 10 the py Reese map you may not think that a map would be something to cause so much trouble but this one's kind of special the pyr Reese map is a world map compiled in 1513 by the ottoman Admiral and cartographer py Reese the map itself was thought to be lost for a long time and when it was discovered once again it was only onethird of the finished product the map was honestly an accurate thing for its time and the Mystery is that while there are many accurate details there are also ones that make

absolutely no sense including landmarks that don't line up with parts of South America and Beyond what it's depicting some even think that the map shows mythical elements that haven't yet been proven number nine the iron pillar of Deli this iron pillar can be found today in Delhi India is unique because despite it being an over 6 M tall pillar that's made of pure iron it's barely even rusted for those who aren't well-versed in Metallurgy iron is something that rusts rather easily when it's exposed to the elements when something rusts it eventually erod into nothing and

yet, 1600 years after it was first placed in the ground the iron pillar is still there so then how is all of that possible there is some debate to that but one key factor here is the quality of the iron after some examination it was found to be 98% pure which is insane for ancient people and some today can't even get it that pure themselves so that Purity may be well why it's BAS basically rust proof and has been standing for all of this time number eight Damascus steel one of the key differences between what's

taking place in the world today with manufacturing and creation and what happened in the past is that the ancient peoples of the world built things to last they wanted the customer to know that if you bought something that was meant to be durable it would be just that Damascus steel is a prime example of they don't make them like that anymore this unique steel forging method was so good that when they used it to make swords they were apparently impossible to shatter no matter how hard that you would hit it plus they also had unique

patterns on them to further show the craftsmanship and in the end nobody knows exactly how they got these swords to be so good with some even disputing The Legend and yet many of them seeking to make metal work that is as great as this number seven Roman concrete as I just noted the ancient world made things to last and that's why if you go to somewhere like Rome their ancient buildings including one such as the Coliseum are still standing today that's because they had made a special version of Roman concrete that was pretty much better

than anything we've ever had so what separates it well as we found out in 2023 it wasn't only the materials that had made it special it was also how you put it together a from the basic ingredients you would expect the Romans had used volcanic ash in order to help and make the concrete both strong and long lasting they even had a deposit nearby that they could readily take from then by using a special hot mixing technique they apparently created a version of concrete that could actually heal itself so if it could be replicated today

just think about all the possibilities and the things that could be made and what we could fix without having to repair them down the road number six Roman aqueducts I'm quite fond of the Romans they knew how to build things and do them well and the Roman aqueducts many of which are still standing today once again prove how smart they were in the ancient times these aqueducts were marvels of engineering not only because of how big that they are but because they're also massive and how they were able to go from water sources to their

cities and feed their people make no mistake these aqueducts were all over the place and massive in size the capital in Rome alone had 11 Aqueduct systems supplying fresh water from sources as far as 92 km away to be fair it took around 500 years for all of that work to get done but they did get it done and it benefited the city and all of those in it for many years to come number five Chinese earthquake machine this one's actually a little bit surprising that it's taken this long to get to the Chinese especially

since they were masters of creation themselves as their unique Chinese earthquake machine will prove this device came over 2,000 years ago via the scholar Zang hang who was a pretty much a genius in numerous fields of study and that led to him making a device to detect seismic activity long before people truly knew what such activity was like I said he was a genius so much so that nobody's certain of how it actually worked and some debate whether it actually did however he presented it to the emperor of the time time and Legend goes that

one day one of the balls in the dragon's mouth dropped and Days Later an earthquake was reported in that direction number four Astro numerous ancient cultures were obsessed with the Stars as they found them a way to connect with the heavens above the gods who may reside in them or just a way to understand the world they lived in not unlike a certain mechanism I talked about earlier the astrolab was a device that was made to help one guide themselves via only the stars above them you can apparently use it so well that it can

not only tell your place but the time of day and night and also help with certain math equations that a person like the captain of a ship may need to calculate number three the shagar sculpture I talked about a potential sculpture in the fancy topic but now I'm going to show you the oldest one that's known in the world and it's called the shagar sculpture it's something that was apparently made just after the ending of the previous Ice Age that would make it much older than the Great Pyramids of Egypt by about double the pyramid's

age and the sculpture itself was found in Russia as you can see it's a completely wooden artifact yet you can tell that it's a sculpture because a face was carved at one end of it and that's not a natural thing there are other carvings and indentations within the wood that show that someone actually carved into it the debate is about who actually did it what its purpose was and how a piece of wood like this lasted for so long number two the Roman DOA hedrin the Roman DOA hedrin is a 12 cited artifact that was

found in Belgium and apparently dates back about, 1600 years as you can see while it does look like a dice in some of its shape the protrusions at the corners are actually baffling scientists to this day and makes its purpose rather unclear equally as important there are just 120 of them in the world today that have ever been discovered Roman decahedra I've made um if you don't know about these things so that leaves the question of why the Romans needed to make so many of these weird little items usually you'd be able to go to

an ancient text for a purpose like this but no Roman text that we've ever found have mentioned these things number one the clerk's Dorp spheres how about one more ancient artifact for the road once again we have another case of an out ofpl artifact specifically I'm going to be talking about the Clerk's Dorp spheres which are a group of spheres that range in shape and size that were found in South Africa and appear to have been made by human hands and yet they were found in deposits that were stated by scientists to be 3 billion

years old and so how did the Spheres get into something that old and basically stay encased by it for all this time one explanation is that while they do look like their manuf factured some people believe that they were in fact made naturally but some people aren't convinced and so the debate continues on well that's all from the realm of ancient technology and how it's much more advanced than it reasonably should have been compared to what we have now did it blow your mind hearing about these pieces of tech that could outdo what modern devices
