Krishna please acceptances of praadrishna pronounce Okay. So, we'll begin with our invocation prayers. Literally speaking, I don't have one thing on my to-do list. I'm just writing this book. I'm chanting classes. Yeah, lazy and implicit. lazy until it I don't know lazy internet it's what am I going to do if if you don't have you don't have that's why and I'm excited about it too because of my nature to get into raanooi more that's a good topic rai let's hear about [clears throat] Thank you all for joining. So timely. Let's begin recording already. See this
already recording. So, thank you again for joining so timely and please uh mute yourself unless you want to ask a question and please allow me about 30 minutes to take you through this last assignment of our planning session for the action learning project. This is last of the planning session and then begins the execution part. Okay. So, you have come a long way. uh you have done uh many of these uh wonderful things collected so much information and today we're going to churn that information and come up with some strategic objectives goals and action plans
that we will subsequently implement. Okay PU so let's begin sharing Anand prauji. Har Krishna. J. Wow. You are in that beautiful part of the world with those palm trees and beach. Wow. Amazing. Okay. Prau, what do you see on the screen? Let me say uh one minute. I have to increase this. Uh here we are saying bookmark this page purpose. Yeah. Mhm. One minute pro. I have to uh feed uh uh purpose Feeding the outcome of assignment 3 4 5 and six. Okay. This uh assignment is identify the strength, weakness, opportunities and threats in your
zone temple project. Okay. Okay. Okay. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Babu. So, you're seeing this overview of assignment number seven, right? On the left side, assignment. Yes. Yes. Yes. Thank you. Thank you very much, Bab. Okay. So, as I said, you have already done uh the foundation part. You have developed your mission and vision in assignment three. You have analyzed your audience and competitors. That was the environmental analysis part of the environmental analysis starting with audience and competition. And then you scanned the external environment using the pest analysis. From that you identified opportunities and
threats. And you identified many opportunities, many threats. From that we're going to pick two top opportunities, two top threats most important. And in the last assignment number six, you did the uh Organizational assessment which is internal analysis and that is uh to identify our strengths and limitations. And from that again you identified in 10 different areas your strengths and weaknesses a lot of them and now your job is to pick the top two strengths and top two weaknesses. So with this information and keep our audience in mind and our competition in mind, keeping the mission
why we exist in mind, keeping the vision where we want to be and keeping the purpose of our existence which is based on the second assignment identifying the purpose u and how it is aligned with the purposes of Iscon our values etc that we did in assignment two. We are going to now feed this information into AI using any artificial intelligence tool such as chat GPT. We are going to ask what should be our strategy. Now generally if we don't use AI then it has to be done by ourselves and that's a wonderful assignment too
when you are working with your team and I'll show you how it is done but we will take help from AI. you will still have to review the uh strategic options that it gives you, the objectives that it gives you because it has to make sense to you. Uh so that will still need to be done but u we'll take help from AI in this particular assignment. Okay. So Let's proceed. So this is the overview pu. How is how is the fundraising going pu? Prau. Yes prabu. How is the fundraising going? The fundraising you know
it's a struggle. Oh, it is a struggle because a lot of a lot of Yeah, because in Iscon most of our donors are not Gujarati are not business people. These are mostly workingclass people and with the IT and artificial intelligence. Most of this has been IT people in the US and the IT people are losing jobs because of artificial intelligence. So there is and then with the visa problems. So it has become a very uphill task. Oh, sorry. Sorry to hear that. Prau, I think you have to maybe tap some other knocks knock at some
other doors. I know you're very intelligent. You'll figure it out. Krishna is on your side. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for joining. Okay. Is it okay if we mute you, Puhu? Yes. Yes. Thank you. Okay. So the next step is teach to learn and there are these two files two sample files. I will share with you both and using these two files you will teach what needs to be done and after that we will live the lesson as I have already described using the artificial intelligence. So and after that the next step will be
learning journal and sharing your commitments. So that's the overview of this whole assignment. Now when you click on this first uh file Maharaj you will get with teacher notes samples what you will get this file. Okay my friend Anand Prabhuj now what do you see on the screen please unmute please unmute sample ALP assignments from sort to strategic objectives will New Zealand uh New Zealand yes here is the data from Ambre Maharaj Willington turn temple temple project. Thank you. Thank you Babu. So this is our assignment Sundaral Prabhu. Uh we take these strengths and weaknesses
from assignment number six and as I said we'll take top two. So for his project The strength was they have a new temple building which is in progress. Their second strength that they identified was good training based on Shilapra's books and strong service attitude. Okay. Their weaknesses, limitations that they identified were newcomers were not integrated into the congregation. Nobody was looking after them. They were feeling left out. And the second weakness they identified was there were sort of two groups. One was the temple congregation based group. The other one was the journey of self-discovery group
and there was lack of shared understanding between them. They were operating separately. So these are two weaknesses. We saw two strengths. They came from assignment number six. So you will have to pick these two for your assignment. Then two opportunities and two threats from assignment number five which is the best analysis. Their opportunity was there is growing Indian population plus also more immigrants not only Indians but immigrant population and as you know immigrants when they go to a foreign country they have no no group to relate with they are looking for things and many people
they join some some group pursuing some form of spirituality their aim initially maybe to just socialize but they get serious because they have nothing else going on except for their work rellated commitments and their family. So that's They're seeing that as an opportunity to bring these new immigrants into Krishna consciousness and they are also seeing that there is a movement towards veganism and vegetarianism. More and more people are supporting the social causes. So they see this as opportunity and they see two threats. One is this economic recession as you heard from Brajpati Prabhu people are
losing jobs so there is less disposable income there is inflation economic downturn etc. So if this happens then donations to Iscon may go down and cost of living is rising so how can we um take care of this threat so that it does not impact our donations and our the participation of people in our events. And the second threat that they see is competition from other religious organizations uh which is growing. So this has come the t they have come from assignment number five which was pest analysis. Now the SWAT sometimes it is also spel
spelled backwards to o ws then it becomes to we are going to derive strategic objectives. So as I said in this strategic objectives and let me bring in one extra page here. Please allow me to insert a page a blank page. Okay. And if you now Please allow me to draw which we did when we started assignment number five. So prau this is what we are doing in this assignment that I showed you when we started before we started assignment number five and this AI will do it for us but conceptually we need to understand
what is happening. Okay. So if we put a strength here and we put our weaknesses here, if we put opportunities here and threats here and you can list the opportunity one here, opportunity two here on the outside border. Same thing with threats. You can list one threat here, one threat here. Just in a summary form, you can list two strengths, one here and one here. And then you can list two weaknesses. One here and one here. And if I may number this, if I call this S1, I call this W1, my topmost weakness. I call
this 01, my topmost opportunity. And I call this T1, topmost threat. So you heard what the uh Wellington temple has. So now by combining my first strength with first opportunity, I will get one strategic initiative. Meaning their strength is they have this new temple building and the opportunities that they are seeing is there is inflow of immigrants. So if you consider these two then how should we utilize our strength of new temple and how should we tap into this opportunity of new immigrants that are coming into the temple. So in other words, what what programs
can we offer? What strategic objectives can we have so we can bring this new people into our fold. So likewise you look at the same opportunity 01 and the meeting questions. Somebody is requesting to start meeting questions. Okay. Disappeared from my screen. Let's bring this back. Anraji, I need your help again. What do you see on the screen? Please unmute and let us know is in the uh this four box. Four box S O WT right? Yes. And in first box written S1 and D uh 01. Okay. Thank you Babu. Thank you. Okay. All right.
So then we are looking at this first weakness and their weakness was anybody remembers what their weakness was? They did not actually have uh a good plan in place for newcomers. Okay. Not not taking care of the newcomers. Thank you. Not taking care of the newcomers. And the opportunity you know from here the opportunity is these immigrants coming. So how can we combine these two things and come up with a nice strategy or strategic objective to tap into that opportunity? and overcome our weakness. So if we have new immigrants coming and our weakness is that
we don't even take care of new people, then we're going to waste this opportunity. So now we got to come up with a strategy. This gives us an opportunity to improve that system of taking care of our guests, taking care of new people that come into our fold. And so instead of losing out on this opportunity, we will do something positive here and that will be the strategic objective. So like This you look at the first threat which is people losing jobs and you look at the strength their new temple building. How can that give
us some uh strategic options as to how we can overcome this threat where people are losing jobs and we are new u new new temple coming up. How can we combine those two and come up with a situation that will be helpful to them as well as to us so we can benefit from that situation. And over here you will do the same thing. You will do W1 and T1. Their weakness being that newcomers are not being taken care of and at the same time people are losing jobs. How can these two things which are
both negative how can they give us some positive goal or a positive objective? So typically before the advent of AI this thing will be done through brainstorming with our team members and ideas will come forth and this is we're only looking at the first first first and then there is the second one too. So now we going to ask artificial intelligence. Hey these are our two opportunities. These are our two threats, two strengths, two weaknesses. Give us this box. You make this box for us. So in other words, they will give you strategic options in
this box right here in this box. They may not create a box. If you tell it might but this is what has been done now. So for this particular project they did SN O. So, S1 and there are other combinations possible also. You can also use both S1 and S2 combine and use one opportunity. You can do only S1 and both opportunity one and opportunity two. So, different combinations it'll figure out. So, by doing that it has given us all these different ideas. It has given us three different ideas. Okay. And let's go through one
idea here. You already know what S1 was, S2 was, what 01 was. The objective they gave was to launch a standardized newcomer assimilation pipeline. So what should we do? They say you should have an introductory course, have some mentor assignments and service integration house in the new temple. How will this be done? Use your strong SP bookbased training systemat bookbased training system to create tiered entry points for beginners, intermediate and Committed. So in other words, you are now going to first put your team together, identify, that's what they're suggesting. So you position your new temple.
This is the strategic objective statement. Position the new temple as a structured onboarding hub, meaning bringing new people on board for the growing they say Indian diaspora, but it can be growing immigrant population. So we are now going to brand ourselves come up as a temple who really takes care of the new people that come into the country and we help them with various things including uh this spiritual goals and how are we going to uh ensure this? How are we going to make uh assessments of whether we are successful or not? And this is
just a summary. The details will come later on. This is just a summary of what needs to be done. So how will we measure that we have been uh doing this successfully? We should look at the newcomer retention at 90 days. So each week, each day when newcomers are coming, somebody's uh engaging them, taking their email ids, phone numbers, etc. integrating them into the new temple, into the congregation, etc. And the evaluation is after 90 days how many of these newcomers that have come they are still coming. And another KPI which is called key performance
index or key performance indicator. Uh percent of newcomers that are engaged in service within 60 days. they come and as we all know that if we engage people in service then there is a higher probability of their continuing coming back and the third uh KPI that we will use is has our weekly attendance grown or not okay so the solution that AI has given is that you use this opportunity new immigrants coming and use your new temple to create a system to create this culture create a team that will bring these people on board. The
details of this will be figured out later how this will be done but this is one thing that they have given. The second thing AI is given is build a dharmic lifestyle platform aligned with vegan vegetarian movements. So that was the second strength. I'm sorry that was the second opportunity the vegan vegetarian movements and the second strength was um SP based shilap praupad based uh uh Let's go back to the exact definition shell praupad based good training system okay so now we are using this training system the books that we have AI is suggesting that
you use that to create a dharmic lifestyle. So based on those books, you bring in these vegan vegetarian people and introduce them to that lifestyle that praupad talks about in his books simple living highing. Okay. So what will be done? How will this be done? So we are going to create a publicf facing outreach vertical to tap into these people are not coming to our temples. We have to reach out to them. So what do we do? You can conduct some classes. You can advertise cooking classes, workshops through social media. You obser you you advertise
and we link prashadam aimsa nonviolence and vegan ethics and we are bringing these people into our fold by creating this new program which is more like a platform to so the f to to bring these vegan vegetarian people into our fold. So the first one was to bring in the immigrants into our fold and for that they suggested a strategy and now this is a an outreach uh program where we will have to develop some classes, Some um cooking classes, some workshops and we have to uh approach through social media. We can also post some
videos to reach out to this particular uh audience and to tap into this second opportunity. So how will this be done? Translate scriptural strength into accessible lifestyle narratives. How can we use praupa's teaching into modifying the lifestyle or supporting the lifestyle that these people already have vegan and vegetarian but our goal is to eventually bring them over to Krishna consciousness. So how will we measure success of this outreach event participation? So when we do these outreach events, how many people are participating? If we are doing through social media, how is our engagement on social media
growing? You [snorts] are doing that course right now on social media. So you understand this terminology and firsttime visitor conversion rate when they start coming to our temple. what percentage of these vegan vegetarian people we are able to um make them into devotees. So these are the performance indicators. So like this prau you see artificial intelligence has given us uh how we can utilize our strengths and opportunities how we can combine these to come up with strategies. So these are the strategies. They are called strategic objectives, strategic options. But they are the way to tap
the opportunities using our strengths. Tap the opportunities by overcoming our Weaknesses. And so like this each one is here. So this is the second one. Tap the opportunities by overcoming our weaknesses. As you see, use opportunities to overcome weakness. Whatever we are weak in we uh we we bring in some reinforcement to overcome that weakness. So like this when we go through this step by step and I can maybe go through this one more but I just want to give you an overview. So this is the second thing that was done. The third one the
third box was combining strengths and threats. So they are called the ST strategies. And the fourth one is so within that there are strategies. The fourth one is W and T which is both negative. There are weaknesses and there are threats. But to avoid these threats we have to minimize weaknesses or overcome weaknesses. So this is more of an awareness awareness u approach an awareness mechanism and at the same time not only simply being aware but making some concrete plans to tap into the opportunities to tap the opportunities and to overcome threats. Otherwise we would
be blindsided by these threats and we can lose out on many things. For example the As I mentioned that people are losing jobs the economy there's a downturn in the economy how can we overlook that because it's going to impact us. You just heard from Rajpati prahu how it's impacting his fundraising efforts. So if we can think ahead and consciously make some choices and make some decisions then we can convert these um negative things into positives. So all of this is given here. So you share this with your team. This is part of teaching. As
you're teaching you're also learning. Um if we may since we are here at WT let's look at one example. Um the threat was there are more religious organizations coming up as competitors and uh the weakness was we were not taking care of newcomers. the first weakness and the second threat. They combine these two and they are suggesting that we should prevent newcomer attrition meaning they come but then they don't return. So we should and also sometimes they may come they may come for a week or two and then they stop coming to we should prevent
that and by doing that we are also averting or avoiding the competition from organizations because if these People we are not able to retain then they will go to some competing organization. So in other words, what what is so what is our strategy here? Ensure first three visits create belonging, clarity and engagement. So once again this is a kind of a similar strategic objective that we saw earlier when we were tapping this opportunity but now we are overcoming our weakness which was to uh the weakness was not taking care of the newcomers. We are overcoming
that through a system. So what is a system? What's the mechanism? Have a standardized welcome experience. There should be an immediate followup within 48 hours of their landing at our temple or visiting our temple. How will we measure success? First to third visit conversion rate. How many people who came the first time, they also came the third time. And if you want to go a step further, you can also look at how many of these you were able to make into sort of permanent. It will not be possible for us to judge permanency. But if
we can give them some service and they become committed by the third visit, that is a success. And we can also do some kind of u uh surveys or assessments of satisfaction newcomer satisfaction score. So they came first week then they come the third week or any subsequent week you ask them how satisfied they are what is it that we are lacking. So we will have to create some kind of service. So when we do this, when we deal with newcomers like this, they will definitely begin to feel that they belong to our organization. There
is clarity of purpose. They are coming. They're not simply coming. Many times the newcomers come, they don't even know the different kind of prayers that we do. But when we bring them into our fold into our community into our um into our congregation then they somebody is explaining to them. So as I said the details have to be figured out how this system will work but right now the system AI has given us some strategic options that we need to do. So this is the first step using two of each strengths opportunity strengths weaknesses opportunities
and threats combining them we call it juxtaposing them as you saw in the box and then coming up with these strategies then your team will go through all of these like we are doing and see if it makes Sense because it's AI it may not fully understand you know what we want to do and whether it's practical or not it's doable or So next one for example you can say it's suggesting that you eliminate visible fragmentation between these two groups because that will help you avoid your reputational and operational inefficiency. We are also facing this
threat. The threat is the competition is growing. They're competing organization and if they if people see or even if the competition sees that we are we have an internal rift there are two groups and we're not getting along then they can take advantage of that you know you have seen this happen over and over again within uh between Iskcon and other uh organizations that come and kind of take your devotees over to theirs. So this is how we can use this analysis to come up with these strategies. And so this is the first part of
it. And so as I said your team has to now evaluate these strategies and from these strategies you will let me let me see what here you see what I want to introduce you to Next. This is all the things that the AI gave me. These are teacher notes. Okay. Okay. So the next thing is when you look at all these different things that uh all these different strategies that are uh given by AI and there it seems there are about 10 or 12 different strategies we have to now prioritize which one we want to
um execute. Okay. So now so the next step is from these 10 or 12 that we have how do we identify the most important one. So once again, you can as a team go through all of those and identify a few that are important to you. Or in this case, we can also tell AI based on who we are, you feed your mission statement, your vision statement, your audience analysis, your comparative analysis. Um you feed the two strengths, two weaknesses, two opportunities, two threats. you give all this information to AI and then tell hey give
me uh some prioritization of this what should I focus on first what are the most important things so one thing It will do is it will synthesize because as I showed you in these strategic options that we looked at when we're combining strength strengths and opportunities and also when we're looking at weaknesses um and and opportunities there was some similarity in the strategic objective. The idea is to create a system that will uh that will uh system to welcome newcomers and to engage them and to give them a sense of belonging give them some clarity
of what we do etc. So those two things they sound similar. So now AI can synthesize it. It it can combine those things. For example, the W1 which is weakness and opportunity one weakness one opportunity one and weakness and threat strategy. It's going to combine into a newcomer integration system. So this is what it's suggesting that we do. And this these are highest leverage moves meaning they will give us the most value for our effort. So they will give us the most returns for our efforts. So a newcomer integration system is what is suggesting. Um
then it is suggesting a unified culture and alignment. I mean you have to dig deeper into that. We will dig deeper into that. not so obvious from what it's saying. then Commitmentbased engagement model and so let's say this sounds interesting too and then the fourth one lifestylebased outreach I think that's pretty obvious so the first and fourth they are fairly easy to understand what they are the third and second we not exactly sure what AI is talking about so we can then look at the details here what is it saying so here is a strategy
map. So learning and growth perspective the foundation layer build capabilities build a culture of cooperation build a culture of welcoming newcomers and align there are two groups we should align ourselves with the mission. So in this category now it is this is another way of synthesizing things. You will have unified culture and shared values. You will have a structured devotey training system tiered system. You will have a leadership and mentorship development program. And you will have a community engagement mindset. They all kind of sound familiar, right? So what enables this the internal process perspective? What
do we need to do? What must the organization excel at operationally? We must have a really good newcomer Integration system, a unified governance and decision-m system because as you know there are two groups JOSD and temple leadership. There should be high quality program delivery. these classes that we are planning to offer um for the vegan, vegetarians also for the newcomers etc. And there should be an outreach platform which is lifestyle based outreach platform for vegans and vegetarians. And since you have a new temple, we should utilize your new temple as a hub for doing programs,
for conducting outreach activities and for building community. So now these are the synthesized five strategic objectives that it has come up with very solid and concrete and these strategic objectives they will drive. What will this do? This will help us create value for our stakeholders, our uh congregation members, our you know the when you did the audience analysis, you looked at your uh potential audience and current audience, they are in a way our customers. So when we do this, this will help us create value for our people. And what will that do? It will create
a strong newcomer retention and inclusion U culture and programs. It will lead to deep devotey engagement and commitment. When you are trying to engage newcomers, you also need to engage your current devotees. Make them into teams. They will feel more engaged because they are now uh you they are not they are now engaged in the service of bringing new people in. They are engaged in service of outreach. So there is more engagement for our existing audience as well our current audience as well. So deep devotey engagement and commitment. They'll feel more committed. They'll feel more
included. expanded outreach to the immigrant population not only the Indian diaspora but in immigrant population. So that is also uh a good thing that that we're doing. It'll create a goodwill for us that you know this temple takes care of immigrants. Then broader appeal via lifestyle alignment. It will give us again it it will give us u it it will create a reputation for us amongst these communities of vegans and vegetarians that you know these guys these har krishnas they have really good programs and and they do these social welfare programs where they're educating us
they're training us how to live ethically further I mean they were Already committed to that lifestyle but through conducting these cooking classes you know sharing with them these higher taste u recipes etc and giving them the spiritual uh well-being experience it's not only just about the food but giving them philosophy that praupad talks about in shriad introduction and many other places that just by being vegan or vegetarian that's not enough. There are rabbits, there are other animals that are also vegetarian. So unless there is change of consciousness, just being vegan, vegetarian is not enough. So
through our outreach programs, we are helping them advance, helping them advance in their in their life. And then distinctive spiritual positioning. It will help us create a brand because we will be known for our depth, our authenticity that we care about people and a systematic philosophy. So this is what it will create for us. These are the advantages that will come to us and then this will lead to this financial impact and it will help us continue pursuing our mission. So these are the ultimate outcomes. You will have stable and growing donation base. Even though
there is economic volatility, even though people may be losing their jobs, but we are tapping into various um various pockets, vegan, vegetarians who are most likely the locals, the new immigrants who are coming into the country, etc. So, it'll give us a stable and growing donation base. It will give us financial sustainability for the new temple. It's still being built. It needs more funding. It will grow our congregation. Not only grow in size but also grow participation from our congregation. It will have increased outreach impact and it will give us long-term institutional strength and unity.
So prau this is the benefit of doing this analysis that we just did and step by step AI has shown us as to what you do what it will enable what value it will create what impact it will have on your organization. So it's a win-win situation. There is further it uh it's sharing with you how it came up with this uh uh these recommendations that it made. How it came up with the analysis. So this is a cause and effect flow. So pathway one. So what should we do? We should fix the critical weakness.
The critical weakness was we are not taking care of newcomers. And then it's you know telling you the logic how this is done. Then pathway two, resolve internal misalignment between JOSD and the temple congregation and group. Create a unified culture. Then the pathway three is capture external growth opportunities. There are people out there, there are immigrants, there are vegan vegetarians. So capture that external growth opportunity. And the pathway four is protect against financial threat, people losing jobs, downturn in the economy etc. The fifth pathway is leverage the new temple asset by utilizing the building that
we have to um to create to to offer programs to offer classes and to to utilize this new building to attract the newcomers. Okay. All right. So, there is more here. There are key insight strategic diagnosis. I don't know if you really want to do this. These are teacher notes. But AI is telling its logic how it came up with these recommendations that it did for our for us. This is let's go up here. Oops. Okay. So these are these are the moves that we have to Make. Uh you saw different strategies within each uh
quadrant within each box. I walked you through that. Uh so we are now clear as to how we come up with these strategic options what we need to do. Now the next step which is part of the same assignment is to convert these strategic options which are broad statements. They're broad statements. We want to convert them into very specific goals which are called smart goals. specific, measurable, um, accountable or assignable and realistic and time bound. So, SM R that's what we are going to do. Um, so it is already 45 minutes. I thought I'll be
able to cover both in lesser time. So, I don't want to open it up for questions yet because this is only half of the assignment. The other half of the assignment is this second document which says AI smart goals and actions for the same temple project. And let me see if I can pull that up here. There you go. Okay. All right, Robus. Hope I got this. Yes. All right. Let's just make shoes from somebody Krishna. What do you see on the screen? We can't hear you. Pro I can't hear you. Let's ask somebody else.
Shastra prahu harrishna this is prauji iscon tumble/jd executive strategy sheet 2628 object objective uh smart goals key actions gives Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you very much. Babu. Okay. Perfect. Har Krishna. So now the strategic objectives that we had from the first part of the assignment we want to make them. So those objectives we want to convert them into smart goals. And then each goal has to be converted into key action items. Who will do what when. because that strategy has to be now uh it has to be converted into some action steps.
So this will be the end of the planning session. So the the end result of this will be we will identify Vishal Goranga Pu will do this particular action by this date. Okay. So let's look at some of these things how this is done. One of our critical priorities was to create a newcomer integration system. So the objective is to ensure that every newcomer is welcomed, connected and engaged into the community. So the smart goals for this are we want to achieve 70% retention of firsttime visitors and this retention is that after 90 days 70%
of those who visited us they are still with us and we want to achieve this by December 2027. We are in August 2026. So this goal I we can analyze this is time bound. It is clear what we want to do. It is specific. It's measurable 70%. So specific measurable we have not assigned it to a person yet. So that is still lacking. So the a part is lacking. Um is it realistic that we have to assess is it realistic to expect that in one one year and about 3 4 months we should have this
system and we should achieve 70% retention rate of first time visitor so that you have to judge but the SMT I went over this with you it is specific it's measurable 70% The A part is missing for now but realistic I leave it to you to decide but it seems realistic to me there's plenty of time to do this and it's time bound there is a deadline to do it so like this the next one is ensure 80% of newcomers they are assigned a mentor within 7 days by the second quarter of 2027 so we
should have this system in place that a mentor is assigned to 80% of newcomers so once Again to me it sounds realistic. There's plenty of time. We are in 2026. Um it's specific. The mentor has to be assigned to newcomers. It has to be done within 7 days of their um entering the temple, the entering the facility. So to me it sounds like a smart goal. Again what is missing is the A part assigned. Who is this assigned to? And so likewise you can see 60% newcomer participation in at least one service activity within 60
days. And this has to be achieved by December 2027. And once again that sounds pretty reasonable, realistic, time bound, it's specific, it's measurable. There's a goal here 60%. Okay. So now these are the smart goals. So as I said the assigned part is missing who it is assigned to and now let's see what AI is suggesting in terms of key actions. It's saying implement a formal onboarding pipeline visit one there should be a follow-up after that person should be assigned to a mentor they should become a part of a small group and they should be
assigned a service. So this is the formal onboarding onboarding process. Then create small group cohorts batch new new batches five to eight new people put them into one small group and they are led by trained mentors. Then develop a tracking system. A simple CRM is customer relationship management in this case guest relationship management or some spreadsheet dashboard for follow-ups. Okay. So this is what needs to be done if we want to take it to the next level of implementing this goal. So again right now we are still in the planning phase but we are breaking
everything down into these smaller steps that can be then very easily executed. Okay the execution will start in two weeks but this is the culmination of planning. Culmination meaning it is the final step in planning. Okay. So like this each objective is broken down into or converted into smart goals and smart goals are further broken Down into key action items. And as I said one thing that's missing from here is because AI does not know who our team members are. If you feed that information that this these are our team members, these are their strengths,
this is their expertise, it will even be able to assign a person to each of these key action items. Okay, Prau, I'm going to stop here. So, this is your teaching session. What we just did is the teaching session with your teams. And after you have done the teaching then you have to actually do the assignment. So let me pause here stop sharing. Let's look at your comments in the chat. Okay. Lot of lot of here. I think this chat is from that. Let me go to the newest one. Please excuse me. Mic not working.
Capturing our notes and recording. Maha prau chaitananya prahu. Let me know if you would like me to share them. You prefer I turn it off. Okay. All right. Thank you. Okay. So any any questions based on what we have covered so far Or any comments my friend Mhavi Pu how is it going middle of the night in Australia? Thank you very much for going through this prau um I was just reflecting on u my own project and situations. One [clears throat] of the things that I thought was that we may need to like in for
our case I'm thinking that to go through [clears throat] for example even the basics of what a mission and visions statements that we did and and and and try and map them properly across to what we identified and and and then make sure that we have covered everything of I know that we did everything and at those points we were thinking back and looking back at things but whether we did all that uh that I thought was an important aspect to do before I draw out the actual strategic objectives that I want to achieve and
that was just something point that I had in my mind. Very good point. Very good point. Yes definitely. Um as I said in the overview that you have already identified your foundation your values you have already identified which purposes of ISCON uh you are pursuing or supporting through the initiatives that you have your mission and vision statement your audience analysis your competitors all That information is available And the last two assignments you identified your opportunities, threats and strengths and weaknesses. But if we feed all of this into AI, our mission and vision. Uh what I
showed you was just a partial feed. We only feeding the two opportunities, two threats, two strengths, two weaknesses. I think your your comment is that when before I feed it into AI or before I go further, I should basically revisit am I still being consistent with my mission and vision or not? Did I understand you correctly prau? Yes prau. Yes. Yes. Absolutely. Absolutely. Yeah. We don't have to lose sight of what we have done. We have to also in addition to that we should also keep in mind our audience. the audience that we are trying
to reach out to and that we are currently reaching both current audience and potential audience and we should also keep in mind our competition. So the more information we feed into AI also if you're doing it manually the more we um keep that in mind when we are moving forward the better aligned our strategies will be with our mission and vision. Thank you prau for bringing that up. That's that's very very important. And at every step even when the AI turns out this for you, you still have to look at it. Does this make sense?
Is it consistent with our mission and vision? Very good, very good point. Thank you. Okay. I had one comment here in the chat. Rajpati pu can your AI recommendation be shared for us to have as a guideline prau this is there in edx both files are there in the teachtolearn part so that's answer to branchpati pu and har krishna pu what prompt was used for generating these outcomes from from the AI okay I it Simple simple promptu I only did the strengths and weaknesses opportunities and so I said please create and I'll go back and
show you it's there at the top of the document the it was please create a SWAT matrix or do SWAT analysis given these strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. So very simple prompt conduct SWAT S Swot SWAT analysis. So it was done in two parts right. So one was to first create SWAT analysis. It gave strategic objectives. In the second part I asked to generate smart Goals and action plan action items. So first prompt is to generate strategic objectives using S swot analysis. The information that I fed was two strengths, two weaknesses, two opportunities, two threats.
The second part after it did that I added another prompt. Please provide smart goals and action items for the above strategic options. And so that was the second part. While you when you do the first part, it will give you various options. Do you want me to do this? Do you want me to do that? And you can decide. For example, it created a synthesis of all the findings and then it provided a logical flow because I wanted to understand how you are doing it. It it will prompt you. It will automatically give you that
option. You say do you want me to give the logic as to how I came up with this? And you say yes. Okay. Okay. All right. So Satashaandanda Pu is saying should we take into consideration the time we have for execution as far as the ALP course time schedule is concerned in deciding these smart goals. Yes pu that part we will start in two weeks the implementation part and once again this is the as I said this is the End of planning part we want to save all of this output with us when we come
to implementation we will take only one of the smart goals one maybe two that we will implement that we'll execute okay Sadashu I hope it answers your question. Okay. All right. Anything else? Prau Mavi Pu. Hi Gishnabu. So in this case really um the second part of our work that obviously first is we explain all this to the team members everything but because we are putting all this into AI and it generates actually the outputs. So the discussion part is is it just to go through the relevant answers that are there with the team or
what is it that we are expected to do in that part in in live the lesson part? Yes. Exactly. Okay. Yeah. In live the lesson part I mean you can have fun with your team and do it on the spot with them. feed this information to AI, let it come or you can do it ahead of time maybe over Zoom or maybe one or two other members and then bring the output to the team. Bring the output to the team. Okay. And then say let's go through this and let's see if it makes sense or
not. Okay. Okay. Thank you. Yes. Har Krishna Rajpati Pu should we also be realistic in our resources when feeding into AI especially with manpower um prau that is a brpati prabhu to answer your question that's a practical decision that a practical constraint that we can consider at the time of implementation while planning I generally do not want to constrain our brain power, our creativity in coming up with solutions because if we are constrained to begin with and we say we only have this much and then the re the solutions that will come that may not
be optimal solutions rather I would find the best solutions optimal solutions and then decide whether I can do it or not because in some cases you may be able to, you know, borrow some resources. If you show this to a potential donor, you know, the outcome that we had, if you show this to a potential donor, hey, this is what we want to do. create a new uh newcomer welcome system, newcomer integration system and you know all these other wonderful things. they will feel excited and I have I have proof from previous Batches where when
they shared the outcome of the planning session with their board members with their stakeholders. There are instances live I can put you in contact with that person in there is one person here in North America. The person wrote him a check on the spot when they saw their outcome, the the presentation, when they saw the suggestions as to what the strategic options, the strategic objectives that they wanted to do. They were so impressed by this. So there are prabuati prabhu as you know there are so many donors out there that you are tapping into. So
they are there all over the world and if we have a good u a good uh project or a good plan a good strategy that resonates with them. It has to resonate with them and there are different type of people they have different they want to support different type type of things but we have a list of various things and when we present it to them one of them may resonate with them. Somebody may like this newcomer idea. Somebody may like the uh the outreach idea for the vegan vegetarian type of congregation. So somebody may
like the idea you know the other idea of collaboration and doing something like that. So they will different people support different ideas. So to answer your question prau, I would not limit myself by the Resources but first come up with the detailed plan that I can and then then look at my resources and either try to um you know bring in more resources or pick those items that I can implement right now. Har Krishna a challenge that we are facing that the team members are getting busy with Janashmi services we knew this pu so the
ALP work may get a bit slower due to nonavailability for the meetings and the work involved understandable prau that is why we wanted to finish this planning which is assignment number seven before the janmashmi rush that's why we started when we started and you are getting some break after to the 18th but I understand Jan Mashmi is a big festival so you you you work with what you got prau we understand your limitation okay vu I don't see your initiated name sorry I'm on my boy pu we've been missing you. Oh no I yeah one
I was I was traveling so prau just to uh you know just to add to the small point said uh what I've seen is when you use the AI Uh before using the AI we should put our inputs more so maybe when you do live the lesson it's a good thing to do a brainstorming session more you know what we think is the solution sometimes you know when you use an AI you need to actually give them right kind of prompts to get the data out and you to challenge the AI because I've seen that
it kind of throws up something and then put it more more detailed. So if you do a you know what a brainstorming session on these strategic objectives which is there and that data if you put in then then the result comes much better. This is what I've seen. Thank you. Thank you. Very useful suggestion. Yes, prau. So this can be part of your living the lesson deciding what we want to feed the AI feed into the AI. Very good suggestion. And yes, the more precise your commands are, prompts are to AI, the better the outcome.
Also what it happens is prau it also motivates the team because sometime you know just the data comes out and people think that they become part of the project and they get involved they you know everybody wants to give inputs so the input becomes you know their involvement becomes much more higher that's what I've always seen yes thank you thank you prau and as you also both of you mentioned that when the output comes out. The output comes out in seconds. And then You have to basically sift through, you have to filter it. You have
to go through each one of these and you either um refine your prompts to get a more aligned output, more relevant output or you go through this output step by step and then see you know what what is what makes sense, what doesn't make sense. So this will be part of the live the lesson. So this time this will take time even though it will churn the output in seconds but you may have to go through many iterations. Okay. Yes. You're right. Absolutely right. Okay. Thank you pra. So with that now let me if there
are no more questions let me I think we have a little bit of time here. So now I'm not sharing my screen. Okay. Madan Gopal Prabhu from Mauritius Harrishna Krishna. What What are you seeing on the screen where my cursor is? and assignment seven strategic objectives goals and actions choose SWAT analysis. Okay, thank you Babu. Thank you. So this was a teachlearn part and when we go to As it says at the bottom here next using AI work with your team to identify strategic objectives smart goals and actions for your project. So next is This
is living the lesson. Work with your team and feed the following information into your AI tool. Mavi prau. In living the lesson, we are feeding our vision and mission statements. From assignment three, we are feeding our direct and indirect competitors as well as our target audience. From assignment four, we are feeding top two opportunities and threats from the best analysis and we are feeding top two strengths and weaknesses. So this is the input into the AI and ask AI to first identify strategic objectives based on the above information and then the second part ask it
to develop smart goals and actions for your project. Then review the AI output for accuracy and relevance. And please record this session as you're doing it. And then upload the edited AI generated final output at the bottom of the screen by clicking select file. Okay PU. So this is the step 2 A. Submitting the audio file is 2B and then after that don't forget to write share your experiences. Okay. And lastly you will do the sharing your commitments. That's the last part that you have actually done all of this. Okay. All right. So with this
now I end this here and I am going to look at the report. Okay. Traveling connectivity issues. Okay. There is a report from Vipen Bihari Prabhu. Let's see who is. Wow. Congratulations to these wonderful devotees. Acha moan prabhu Krishna. Acha moan prabhu where are you? We miss your contributions. Did we discourage you from participating? He posted a message in the group saying that he had very poor connectivity today that he could not manage to connect. Okay. Thank you. Thank you for reading that for me. Okay. Anand Prabhuj you're doing amazing. You are on track. Congratulations
to you and your team. Jagadish Pu. Congratulations Mavi Prabhu. Wonderful. Dash Shiman Nitai Prau, Sadashananda Pu, Shastra Prahu and Sri Chaitananya Pu. All of you have zero pending assignments for ALP. And for many of you, your assignments have been graded with the exception of Jagadish Prabhu and Sadashia Prabhu. your assignments have not been graded which may be that you submitted it recently but I will follow up with the grader and then we have Vishaka Dvi Mata only one remaining to submit congratulations to you and your team Sachinandan Prem prau only two remaining Vishal Gorang Prabhu
only two remaining congratulations prau it's wonderful and then we have Andra Prabhu, Bakti, Charueshan Swami and Bakti Prari, Pari Rajaka Swami it's and one more Madan Gopal Prabhu I think you all have perhaps one assignment remaining to submit one ALP there are three assignments which means maybe the last one ALP six we have not submitted and then we have Chhatanya Bhagat Prabhu Also kind of significant ificant progress but you have five assignments out of 15 I believe or out of 18 that are not submitted out of 18 not submitted so that's pretty good nilar prau
five out of 18 not submitted and now ash krishna pu punishan prabuar raman prabhu you have six out of 18 not submitted which means the last two five and Six. Ojasani, Radha, Mata, Radhapati Prahu and Sundar Lal Prahu. You are kind of in the same ballpark. 7 8 and then this is another category. Krishna Kitan Prabhu, Maha Prabhu, Chatanya Pu, Sankara, Gora Pu, you have nine assignments. You are about 50% half the way there, which means you have done up to ALP3. And then Ojasri Prabhu, Priya Gopinat Prabhu, you are kind of pretty close to
that one. And Koshalya Nandanda Pu, Madavanta Pu. Okay. All right. Now starts the group which is a little bit concerning. Koshalaandha Pu, you haven't done you have only done ALP1 it seems. Maya Chandra Pu it seems you have done only LP1. Vashnap Pran Pu only ALP1. Amish Prabhu you haven't even done full ALP1. Har Krishna Pu thank you for starting. We see it there. And now these are the great Solvarts who are very busy with their services. They have not started yet. They have not started submitting yet. Brajpati prabhu thank you for joining the call.
I know you have situation. Jagat Guru Prau we need to talk. You have no submissions. Krishna Balaram Prabhu I know you mentioned Jagat Guru Prabhu your team is international team very hard to put it together but we want to start seeing your submissions because planning has come to an end. We have finished the seven ALP7 today and the next one we are going to start executing implementing things and if you have not done your planning we will not be able to do the execution. Krishna from the bottom of their hearts very good. Krishna Balaram Pu.
Yes, I understand your situation. You texted me privately. And Madan Gopal Pu, we need to talk again. Prau, this is the other Madan Gopal. Prau from Nigeria if I'm not wrong. And Nam Prem Prabhu. Okay, you are also busy with Ratiatras I believe. But we need to get going on this sanatan gorchandra prau we need to talk we haven't heard from you and okay shoulas govinda pu is going to he has a different strategy different plan okay pu so it seems I'm very encouraged by the progress that you have been making with some exceptions and
you have reasons those who are exceptions thank you very much for giving your time to this endeavor and I hope you and your team are enjoying this because of of course this is very uh enjoyable for me. That's why I teach this. I've been teaching it for so long and I hope you are able to also gain some joy out of doing this. I understand it's a lot of work. All right. Thank you, Pragus. Are there any final thoughts or questions? Acha moan prauji, thank you very much for joining. Har Krishna, I'm sorry. Today somehow
unexpectedly my situation became like that. No, no, no problem. Prau, you are you are doing amazing. You are um right on. You are staying current with all your assignments. I was just concerned because I have not seen you contribute Lately. I was wondering if we said something that discouraged you from No, no, absolutely not. Nothing like that. I just today I I happened to be in a place and I didn't get the network properly. So, thank you. I I'll share the recording project tomorrow morning first thing. But yes, that that's not my worry. I know
you are an amazing participant, amazing leader. So you are you are one of our best. Thank you. Okay. So if there are no more questions or comments then I think we should end the call here with heartfelt gratitude. Oh there is another one here. Is there a standard template for submitting the assignment for ALP7? Sashan pu is asking again prau there is no standard let me see if I can provide a standard template but yeah let let me answer that question probably give me some time to answer that question but if you don't hear from
me then what I showed you is what we looking at but I I do have a template From before and I'll I will answer that question. Thank you very very helpful question. So thank you all for joining the call. Thank you for staying on top of everything. Can I share what I have done? Yes pu please share what you have done. You share with me privately first and then oh you want to share here. Okay, perfect. Please do go ahead. Wow, perfect. Amazing. LS scorecard strategy map. Wow. Excellent prau. Excellent. Which AI tool did you
use? Is it claude or chat GPT or Gemini or something else? Gemini. Okay. Thank you Babu. Thank you. Thank you. So since you have already done it pu I then don't want to give you a standard template. I think all of you depending upon which software you're using you can create this but yeah this is the outcome that we are expecting this this this is perfect and u there is one item that I said the chat GPT these Tools don't do is they don't assign an individual I I did not see any names in your
things that you have to do so if you feed in as I said earlier, if you feed the team members their names and their qualifications, their expertise etc. then it might be able to assign a person to a particular strategic objective, a particular action item and that will make it really smart goal with a person assigned to it. Um, you will still have to review the output to make sure that it's the right person. Uh but let me u prau let me uh share with you what we expect from you. I'll I'll give you a
blank template and you can use whatever AI tool but make sure that that information is provided okay in in your out outcomes but excellent work. Thank you Sashaandanda Prabhu. Okay. Okay. So on that note, my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for joining and for giving your time to this endeavor to this training that was so important from Shilap's perspective. He wanted all of us to get trained in these principles. He did not specify what principles but he mentioned in general organization and management principles. So thank you. Thank you. Eddie.
