i'm jordan belfort and this is sales school you can't take for granted if your sales force is performing well and for those who are just sales people that you're members of a the beauty of the straight line system guys is uniformity there's many ways to go about closing a sale seriously the straight line is not the only way you have the same elements have to line up no matter what that's with the straight line of the abstract what the straight line is about it kind of gave me this this this kind of revelation it's about
the path of least resistance to closing anyone who's closable when i lay out the slit the straight line syntax for you take control gather intelligence use that intelligence gathering to get into deep rapport transition make a presence it sets you up for the easiest possible time of it to close the deal you don't say if it's not broken don't fix it i'm going to ask you to please please please follow the straight line syntax just trust me follow the syntax first things first second things second right just take it in order you have to line
up that that first ten second third time you get a lower action special right do it in the right order and it makes things so much easier at stratton you could have heard the fanny pitch me pitch or my top five guys and then went down 300 levels down 300 people down and it would sound exactly the same maybe not quite as critical and not as naturally talented maybe maybe not but once it was the exact same flow they sounded almost identical the key to growth as a business owner as an entrepreneur and you being
part of a team uniformity don't try to reinvent the wheel you get it that's number one another thing is remember the most powerful thing you could say to someone is you know what would you change or what don't you like about the current product using you know very often they're using a product that you're trying to sell them you're selling them an improved version a better deal so to speak right and that question of what would you shake what don't you like what's bothering you about you know the current product right now you can't ask
that question first it's too on the nose you never say so tell me what's what's what you're frustrated so what do you like with the current product you start with the box so what are you crazy using xyz tell me what what's working with you there find out what they like and as they s they tell you uh-huh oh yeah of course good uh very smart agree with the bill report and on the flip side what is it that you know that kind of bar what's really not exactly right that's the second one number three
and then if you could design it yourself but you know what would you change what would tell me what the perfect mouse trap would look like what would it have what features how would you essentially be able to you know easily use it you know what would the price structure like what would the payment schedule find out what that perfect structure looks like and then when you actually give the presentation they're giving you a road map to close now again obviously you have to ask more than those questions but within the rest of your intelligence
gathering questions don't forget the big picture ones what do you like about the current product using what the dislike what's real what's not really working if you know what would you change what's kind of tripping you up and if you could just design the perfect solution tell me what it would look like they'll give you the road map to closing them those questions along with the rest of the straight line and so that's part of your intelligence guy remember the rest taking control building massive rapport it won't just work by asking a couple of questions
and there's other intelligence you need to know as well but at the end of the day taking a step-by-step move by move down the line the beauty is duplicatable amongst an entire sales force everyone should sound the same way pretty much and when they don't what happens is the results because they're uneven slows down growth and also it doesn't help you as the individual is part of a team a cohesive team you want to be that sort of that that you know another not a card in the wheel but a point of light you know
a perfectly running system get what i'm saying here hard work strategy vision should be selling a great product as well you gotta believe in what you're selling do the right thing build long-term relationships but the key is i'm just telling you flat out is use the straight line the way it was intended to be used you have to be elegant you have to adapt it to your company to your industry but please stay on the line move forward get your best lines your best way of explaining what the company does the best way to explain
how to prosper your best lines write them down memorize them and use them again and again and again don't reinvent the wheel every single time you make a that's the problem you do that you know top closes me natural born clothes yeah they can do that easy no big deal that's how their brain is wiped most people can't so by making it uniform along the whole line having these crisp airtight language pads that are easy to say they sound great they make perfect sense bam you set yourself up for not just you but for an
entire company to be able to close anyone who's closeable and being part of a winning team like that it just behooves everyone all right i love you guys take care guys god bless [Music] you
