life and you do this by learning how to romanticize your life and I'm going to teach you how [Music] do you ever look at influencers or movie characters or celebrities or your favorite TV shows and think their life looks so perfect why doesn't mine look like that well guess what yours can look like that the reason that things look so amazing online and so amazing on TV is because they're so carefully curated and romanticized every single detail is planned out they Implement all of these extra things and decorations and moments to make that life seem

chapter one self-care rituals this is the first step because it's so easy and it always succeeds in making sure you feel special the first step is to add little moments of luxury you do not need a massive budget for this okay I'm talking about wearing satin PJs when you go to bed having satin pillowcases putting on a face mask lighting your favorite candle while you're journaling you get the gist whereas the alternative is you're rushing around at night and you're like oh my God I have so many things on my to-do list tomorrow and you
know what I'm just gonna watch Netflix until really really late barely get any sleep and then I'll rush to work in the morning you want to be living that life the next step to this chapter is all about your morning routine this is truly the thing that introduced me to the process of romanticizing your life I used to wake up with Dread every single day and nobody deserves to experience that like I really struggled with getting out of bed I really struggled with having any motivation whatsoever for the day so when I was trying to
make my mornings more enjoyable and romanticize my life my routine would be to wake up immediately start playing my favorite hype like dancing music on my speaker LeapPad bed have a dance around my room be silly goofy like just start my day with that much energy have a sing-along okay pretend I'm in a concert and do my skincare get ready for the day my first hour of the day is committed to no work whatsoever even if it means I have to wake up one whole hour earlier I will do it because if you wake up
and you know oh my God the second I get out of bed I had to start an entire working day you're gonna start to feel that existential dread whereas if you do that hour earlier and you're like for that entire hour I get to do my favorite things immediately you are a romanticizing your life so what I would do is I would start making my mattress straight away and I would read my favorite book while enjoying it I might even watch a little bit of Gossip Girl do some journaling make her really tasty and pretty
breakfast and just like that the second you wake up your day is already better than it usually would have been and this links into the last step for this chapter your self-care practices your daily habits and chores when that comes to like your oral hygiene your skin care your hair care routine it can be a chore if that's the way you choose to look at it but if you romanticize it you add in a few extra steps to make you feel like you're that girl you're in your like clean girl Wellness era instantly it's so

for the evening we are staying present in this current moment okay it's the morning you've just woken up so now all you have to think about is how fun the next 20 minutes are about to be house satisfying your morning skincare routine is going to be how much fun you're gonna have dancing around your bedroom while you're making your bed make a cup of tea for yourself in the morning and just stare out the window like I said before for me it was drinking a matcha and reading a book just a thought that I would
be able to do that as soon as I woke up got me out of bed so much faster and so excited for my day even if I had like 10 hours of work ahead of me step number two the how can I make this moment as juicy as possible mindset it is 2023 okay we are no longer about this lifestyle of being hung upon never past stressing out about the future no we are appreciating our current moment and that is the key to romanticizing your life so let's say your current moment and your task is
reading a book okay my mindset is how can I make this moment as juicy as fun as enjoyable as possible I'm gonna get a blanket I'm gonna light a candle I'm gonna play some romantic jazz music in the background I'm gonna get myself a cup of tea and read this book instantly that entire moment is like a whole event now it's instantly elevated as opposed to just seeing myself reading that book as just a daily chore like oh I have to read it alternatively let's say that you're out with your friends spending the day with
them take loads of videos of your friends yourself you guys hanging out together and then later on when you go home take all of these videos and edit them into a super cute Montage put one of your favorite Tick Tock audios over it and re-watch it and that is not only creating such a beautiful memory but romanticizing the day and the time that you guys spent together and not taking it for granted or let's say that you're stuck at school all day and you have to study right in this moment to make it as juicy
as possible you're gonna start cosplaying a super smart intelligent student that gets straight A's okay I'm talking Spencer Hastings from Pretty Little Liars Vibe or let's say you're working from home you're going to go to a Starbucks you're going to watch the rain outside of the window you're gonna people watch you're gonna sip on your favorite latte and just change up your environment mindset shift number three you have all of the Power when you experience frustrating things like delays being stuck in traffic being on a long train journey and you're just super bored it is
your responsibility to then change the narrative of that once mundane boring moment because guess what you get to decide whether something ruins your day or not for example let's say you're stuck in traffic it's not moving you're getting really frustrated you're not going to be at the gym on time whatever you're gonna sit in your car you're gonna take a deep breath and calm down instead of engaging in road rage and just complaining about your day because the situation is out of your control instead you're gonna put on an audiobook or you're going to play
your favorite playlist in your car and rock out sing or most importantly you are going to play a useful podcast it could be mine you're going to listen to this audiobook or podcast and You're Gonna Change The Narrative of that situation now you've actually gained some time to learn something new another great way to do this is make sure you carry a book with you everywhere you go okay I always do this which is why I'm always carrying a tote bag when I'm stuck on a long train I'm staring out the window okay I have
the sun shining on me and I'm reading a book best moment ever I'm not just endlessly scrolling on my phone running out of notifications to read and sitting there bored mindset shift number four pick your Idols when I was in university and I had to study all day long I decided to change the vibe and romanticize it by embodying Rory Gilmore energy Blair Waldorf energy like I said before Spencer Hastings energy okay like oh I'm that girl and I get to go to university and I get to study for these exams I'm so smart and
100 I'm gonna get straight A's because I am that girl look how seriously I take my future that I drag myself to the library every single day and I got my cute stationery out my cute notebooks and I'm writing my notes it's a cute lifestyle to live and lastly mindset shift number five always have something to look forward to your day does not end at 5 p.m and I'm guilty of this okay after school I would come home it would be 3 30 p.m and I'd feel like the whole day was gone and I wasted
it at school or if you're working in nine to five maybe you'll get home at 6 p.m and you're like you know you just puts around you do a few chores you watch for a TV you go to bed no ah you still got a whole evening of possibilities so when you wake up why don't you say to yourself I'm gonna do my nine to five and when I come home I'm gonna make dinner then I'm gonna bake banana bread why not okay I'm gonna have my favorite childhood movie playing in the background as soon
as I leave the office immediately I'm going to meet a friend you deserve to have something fun to do every single day life doesn't have to be miserable and a never-ending cycle of hustling chapter 3 daily editions these are super casual easy things that you can incorporate which won't make you stray away from your regular day-to-day schedule that will help you brighten up your day with minimum effort required step one create the movie soundtrack to your life I am not joking music is about to be your best friend in the process of romanticizing your everyday
life if you need an example or someone to copy my Spotify as always Linked In the description okay I went ham I literally committed a couple of hours to creating a playlist for every single occasion I'm talking billionaire I'm talking main character energy I'm talking just for when I'm cooking an Italian dinner at home one that helps me exude confidence one that makes me work better the list goes on essentially this makes you actually feel like you're the main character of your life and it really helps with what I said before changing The Narrative of
every situation step number two become a tourist in your own City this is all about having an adventure exploring new places exploring those corners or walking routes that you've never been down before you don't need a friend's recommendation to go there you don't need to Google it to find out about it if you are just on a walk and you found a cafe a pub that you've never been to or you see a little pathway that you've never walked down before go down there explore I have a brand new experience reframe how you see the
city that you're living in Step number three fully and completely indulge in the experience and my favorite example to illustrate this is with a bookstore which in itself is a great activity to do if you're trying to romanticize your life but I fully indulge in the experience you know I don't go into a bookstore because oh I like reading books so let me just quickly buy one and get out okay when I walk in first thing I do I take in this smell I'm not even joking the smell of a brand new book unmatched okay
bookstore smell phenomenal I wander through I look through all of the sections and genres that I don't even read just for fun just just to flick through the pages and then when I'm trying to decide on what book to buy I'm feeling all the covers I'm smelling the book pages I'm looking at all the designs and the pictures in the box and I'm fully taking it in okay I'm reading a few pages here or there and I'm trying to make my decision and it's once again a whole event rather than a meaningless little quick errand
step number four the way you dress and determines your energy for the rest of the day I don't make the rules okay it's just the way it is if you have a nine to five you're going to work every day showing up with a bare minimum oh I just have to wear like some plain black trousers and like a white button up or whatever and you're just ticking that box of being formally dressed without actually thinking about your outfit yeah it might take a little bit more time but let's say you have just bought a
new skirt you're buying that skirt and then you're styling it with like a cool trench coat I call bag some sunglasses your energy and your confidence is going to be all the way up here as a result and I get it even picking out an outfit in the morning and attempting to look stylish can be a very difficult task and so my favorite hack for this is to try to dress like your favorite celebrity influencer or movie character for me I always do it with a movie character so my favorite film is The Devil Wears
Prada and I love Miranda priestley's style I love her bougie sunglasses her fur coats her heels her skirts and I literally dressed like that on the days I'm not feeling myself and the way that I step out of my apartment into the city feeling like I'm a whole different person feeling like there are any opportunities that I'm carrying another person's energy and all of a sudden I had this newfound confidence it's so fun it's like playing dress-up and I want to take this moment to note that you don't have to save your new pieces of
clothing your favorite your most expensive pieces for special occasions life itself is the occasion and it's time you started treating it like it I don't care going out for a casual coffee put on a full face of Glam if that's what makes you feel cute okay curl your hair just for that occasion waking up every day and getting to exist getting to experience another day on this Earth is the occasion dress as fancy as you like and this leads me on to Pinterest which is the last step to your daily editions I used to find
the process of doing my makeup every day it's so boring and such a chore until I saw these images when I saw this I realized how much I can just romanticize that hour of having to do my makeup every day so I look presentable when I saw those images it reignited that passion I once had for makeup years ago which went away because then my perspective turned it into a chore and I was like how fun is it that I just get to sit down and like have my music playing in the background and do
my makeup and make myself look all cute and experiment with new shades and eyeshadows and lipstick colors it proper got me feeling like that song So for this step it's all about downloading Pinterest and making Boards of every boring aspect of your life to help you reignite your passion for it right so when I was in university and studying all the time I had a whole board just dedicated to like dark Academia studying aesthetic University student Vibes and I would look at these pictures of other people doing it and how stylish they made it look
and I was like why can't I do that as well like that is literally also the life I'm living and this goes back to stop comparing what other people have and what they're living recognize okay these are the cards I've been dealt this is the phase I'm in of my life you know I have to be a student I can't get out of that so let me look towards movie characters and other inspiration sources to make this responsibility of mine fun again and that's why people get it wrong okay I know girls who are making
Pinterest vision boards of like their future wedding and planning out every single detail which is fine but girl that might not happen for at least another five years what are you doing make a Pinterest vision board for what's happening right now and reminder says that ish plan that stuff out to every single detail plan out how you're gonna make your day-to-day life more beautiful and chapter four activities consider this your personal bucket list of activities to incorporate every weekend whenever you get a free day to romanticize your life and start living again wake up earlier
than usual to watch the sunrise cosplay is a pink Pilates princess copy The Tick Tock aesthetic and try out a new form of exercise put effort into your dinner stop making it seem like it's a chore like some candles play some music drink your beverage out of a wine glass make it a whole event buy yourself flowers stay in a hotel room all by yourself just to enjoy your Solitude the bedding the spa and all of the amenities it has to offer take yourself on a solid date to do your favorite activity I'm talking reading
in a park a picnic watching a new Barbie movie in cinemas going for dinner have a baking day I'm not joking on a Sunday bake all of your favorite desserts and then store them away for the week and then every day when you come back from Merkel school you have something nice to indulge in go to a farmer's market pick out fresh fruit and veg for all of your meals or pick up a fresh bouquet of flowers for yourself reconnect with your inner child I did this the other day I found my my old Nintendo
DS and I started playing Mario on it again and I had so much fun I was like I'm not too old for this you never are okay play your favorite board game hell you could even build a fort all you need are bed sheets and lastly chapter number five the homework chapter I got our pen and paper because you are about to do these things so you can Implement all of this advice girl number one open your Spotify Apple music whatever you use and start making your playlist as I said before you can use mine
for inspiration come up with your titles okay I really want you to think about this what do you have to do every day that's boring that you can spice up is it your morning commute to work is it your gym workout is it your studying your daily chores homework task number two I challenge you I challenge you to take yourself on a solo date this week okay guys I know it's scary I know it is because I've been there I've seen your messages I know it's an intimidating thing to do but please when you do
this I want you to think of me and how proud I will be of you in fact if you do this I want you to prove it to me I'm going to take a picture of yourself sell it to me to my Instagram through DM at tamcore because I I'm gonna wanna see it you can do anything you can sit alone in a dark Cinema you can go to a cafe just grab a quick latte and then leave that is nothing like a good solo day that will make you feel like the main character homework
task number three do something that sucks and then change The Narrative of it for example let's say that you hate going to the gym you're gonna go and then you're gonna play your favorite music while doing it and then you're gonna reward yourself afterwards or let's say You're Gonna deep clean your entire house but you're going to use one of the new mindset shifts to be said in this video to help you get through it or let's say you have a really long day of work and it's going to be super stressful but you're going
to show up in an outfit that expresses your confidence perfectly homework task number four pick your idol and then embody that energy this is my favorite tip for days where everything does just feel slightly more difficult you're not feeling yourself everything is difficult you have to have that person in your head where you're like what would blank do what would blank say it could be God it could be a movie character it could be your parent helmet task number five make specific Pinterest Boards of your present lifestyle I want you to remind studying I want
you to romanticize passing your driving test I want you to romanticize just hanging out with your friends on the weekends make Pinterest boards for them it will also give you so much inspiration as to how you want those okay Asians to look how you're going to turn them into events helmet task number six pick something from chapter four which was the bucket list of how to romanticize your life you know for example maybe it's waking up earlier to watch the sunrise I really hope that you remember that life is always worth living and there's always
