PSALMS FOR PROSPERITY AND PROTECTION - PRAYER FOR FAMILY PROTECTION

I have a word from God for your life a prayer for your life let's praise Psalm 91 which is the psalm of divine protection and may God protect guard and deliver our lives follow this prayer until the end because God will bless you abundantly and powerfully protecting prospering and blessing you in all areas of your life Psalm 91 is one of the most well-known Psalms in the Bible and through this Psalm we can find God's answers for our lives relief for our souls Deliverance for us and our families Psalm 91 has 16 verses and we

their soul and strengthen their spirit because blessings need to be shared among brothers and Sisters so let us pray Psalm 91 verse one says he who dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty this first verse shows us a Divine promise for you and me a spiritual promise for our lives the text is very clear in saying he who dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty in this verse we see some mysteries of God and important things

For our lives in protection notice that the text says he who dwells in the secret place of the most high who is the most high being referred to here it is God himself the almighty God and who is this person who dwells in the secret place of the most high this person is me and it's you and it's you this person who hides in the secret place is us we are guarded in the secret place of the most high this means that our adversaries cannot see us Cannot perceive us because we are hidden in God

we are protected in God God is protecting your home your family your work your business your children everything is under Divine protection that's why the text also says shall abide under the shadow of the almighty in other words I you we who are hidden in the secret place of the most high can rest in the shadow of the almighty and in that shadow we find rest the Bible Says that the people of Israel walked through the desert and the Desert Sun was scorching extremely hot so to prevent them people from dying in the middle of

the desert God would send a shadow where the people of Israel could rest peacefully this Shadow represents the rest of God for our lives for our souls therefore rest in the Lord don't be anxious about anything in this life Simply rest because God Is Watching Over You God is protecting you you are in the safest place in the universe you are in the secret place of them most high verse 2 says I will say of the Lord he is my God my refuge and my Fortress in him I will trust look at this beautiful and

impactful verse two it says I will say of the Lord you can say to God you know what you can say to God you can say that he is your god that he is your Refuge that he is your Fortress and you will trust in him notice that the psalmist says that God is a refuge in Fortress in other words you can take refuge in him he is a fortress because he guards you the prophet Isaiah asked can a mother forget her nursing child those who are listening to me whether you are a mother or

a daughter you know very well how a mother protects her child when someone wants to harm them see this mother guards she Protects I am sure that as a mother if someone tries to harm your child you become Fierce you don't let anyone touch your children it's the same with God in the book of Isaiah he says that even if a mother even if a mother who has an almost Divine love even if this mother were to forget her child the Lord your God will never forget you and the text also says that we are

in the palm of God's hand and the walls surround us and What are these walls these walls are the Fortress the protection the angels of the Lord guarding our lives hey you are in The Refuge you are in The Fortress in the shadow of the almighty no harm no plague no curse can come against your life because you are secure you are safe in the shadow of Gods omnipotence verse three tells us I am Reading verse by verse and explaining each verse of Psalm 91 and verse three says surely he shall deliver You From The

Snare of the Fowler and from the perilous pestilence look this verse is beautiful God is assuring us that he will Deliver Us From The Snare of the Fowler have you ever hunted Birds it may sound ironic but it's true the text says he shall deliver You From The Snare of the Fowler those who have hunted Birds know very well how it works to catch a bird you need to set a snare a trap to capture that bird to end snare it and the helpless bird usually falls into these traps these snares God is saying that

we are like helpless Birds but when the enemy sets the traps the snare of the Fowler who is the helpless bird it is us the enemy sets bird snares to catch us that's why Peter Says that Satan walks around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour so the enemy sets the snares of the Fowler but in verse 3 of Psalm 91 God makes us a promise and the promise is that he will deliver You From The Snare of the Fowler and from the perilous pestilence perilous pestilence refers to the forces of evil the

harmful plagues God will Deliver Us from these harmful plagues and From The Snare of The Fowler in the name of Jesus I prophesy that every snare of the Fowler and every trap the enemy has set against your life at this moment is now broken in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth God undoes every snare of the Fowler a against your home your family your spouse your children your relatives brothers and friends every snare of the Fowler that brings sickness every snare of the Fowler that hinders your business that Hinders your financial life now at

this moment we rebuke in the name of Jesus every snare and declare it broken against your life your home your family in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth receive receive God's Deliverance in your life you can say Amen verse 4 of Psalm 91 says he shall cover you with his feathers and under his wings you shall take refuge his truth shall be your shield and buckler in this verse 4 God is assuring us that He will cover us with his feathers how can that be God does he have feathers because here in Psalm 91

God is representing himself as a mother eagle and the mother eagle takes her eaglets and places them under her feathers are you an eaglet God is the mother Eagle who guards the eaglets and the mother Eagle spreads her wings and places her eaglets beneath her wings that's why verse 4 is saying that He God will cover you with his feathers and under his wings the wings of this eagle called God you will be safe and God's truth is your shield and buckler your protection that blocks the attacks of the enemy that's why Jesus said You

shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free God's truth is a shield for our lives verse 5 says ye shall not be afraid of them Terror by night nor of the arrow that flies by day notice that The text says we will not fear the terror By Night generally the forces of evil entities notice that in maob rituals the forces of evil usually ask for sacrifices to be made at night at midnight however midnight is not the devil's hour the devil doesn't have a specific hour all hours belong to God the day

the afternoon the night belong to God Satan simply likes to imitate the things of God he likes to transgress the Things of God and notice that evil entities usually ask for offerings sacrifices during the night at midnight but we can see in the Bible that many miracles happened at midnight the Red Sea parted at midnight Paul and Silas prayed and sang at midnight and there was an earthquake and they were set free the Bible says that at midnight the bridegroom called and The Virgins the brides responded to the Bridegroom in other words several Bible verses

talk about miracles happening at midnight so midnight is not the devil's hour however the enemy likes to imitate God that's why he asks for Wicked Deeds to be done at midnight but in verse 5 God is showing us the following you shall not be afraid of the terror by night God is telling us here not to fear not to be afraid of the works of evil I often receive messages from people who Are terrified of wicked Deeds that have been done against them and I always present this Psalm because we don't need to fear the

works of evil why because the one who is with us is greater than the Army greater than the Navy greater than the air force greater than hell greater than the angel angs greater than the universe the one who is with us is the almighty there one who dwells in The Hiding Place of the most high of the Omnipotent you can rest assured so do not be afraid because you are protected by God take hold of this Protection keep this word in your heart you shall not fear for I will not fear the terror by night

I will not fear the terror by night because I dwell in The Hiding Place of the most high and in the shadow of the omnipotent I can rest because he is our Fortress and we have him as our refuge for this reason we do not fear The terror by night or the arrow that flies by day because the enemy does not only work at night verse 5 clearly shows us that we will not fear the terror by night or the arrow that flies by day what does it represent what does the arrow that flies by

day mean the arrow that flies by day represents the wicked attacks that happened during the day however we do not need to fear why because God is our refuge and Fortress when you experience fear it means you are not trusting in Divine protection because the text clearly shows us that he is our shield and stronghold that he guards us under the shadow of his wings so why fear what is the purpose of fear do not be afraid the Bible says in the book of Isaiah that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue

that rises against you in judgment you shall Condemn this is the heritage of the Servants of the Lord in other words you have 24/7 protection Jesus made us a promise saying behold I Am With You Always even to the end of the age you have Divine protection in your life do not be afraid let's continue verse six nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness nor of the destruction that lays waste at Noonday here the psalmist is still talking about the works of evil the forces of Darkness verses 5 and six are closely related you

shall not fear the terror by night nor them arrow that flies by day nor the pestilence that walks in darkness these are demons that roam in the darkness nor the destruction that lays waste at Noonday in other words God is telling us not to fear the forces of evil I don't Understand how a Christian can fear the forces of evil you cannot fear the forces of evil because greater is he who is with us than he who is in the world Amen verse 7 is a well known verse and it says a thousand may fall

at your side and 10,000 at your right hand but it shall not come near you look the psalmist is saying that even if a battalion even if an army of demons of evil forces Falls at your side fall Falls at your right hand nothing will happen to you why because you are protected this is the protection of God my sister my brother verse 7 let me read it again because this verse is so beautiful a thousand may fall at your side and 10,000 at your right hand but it shall not come near you did you

understand you are protected by God nothing can touch a single hair of yours if you believe with all your heart with all your soul with all your strength in God's promise recorded in this Psalm 91 a thousand may fall at your side and 10,000 at your right hand but you will not you will not be affected because God is with you say Amen say I claim this word for myself verse 8 only with your eyes shall you look and see the reward of the wicked in this text God is telling us through the psalmist that

while we rest while we receive God's protection and deliverance we will witness the reward of the wicked God's judgment upon the wicked we will see with our own eyes God's justice being done verse 9 Psalm 91 says because you have made the Lord who is my refuge even the most high your Dwelling Place look the text reinforces what was said in verse 1 and verse 2 reminding us once again that God is our refuge and in the most high we can dwell amen now verse 10 says no evil shall befall you nor shall any plague

come Near your dwelling let me repeat because this verse is too beautiful [Music] Glory no evil shall befall you what is God saying to you nothing will happen to you because I protect you I guard you I deliver you I defend you God is not saying that two or three or four or five evils will happen in your life God is not saying that all the evils will happen in your life no no no God is saying that no absolutely no evil shall Befall you no evil shall befall you it means that nothing will happen

to you because God protects you but you need to believe with all your heart trust in God with all your so knowing that he guards and defends you that he is your help your Refuge your Fortress no evil shall befall you and no plague shall come near your dwelling hey your dwelling is protected the north of your dwelling is protected there are angels of God spread Around the north of your dwelling in the south of your dwelling in the east in the West in the four corners around your dwelling on the roof of your dwelling

God is sending Mighty Angels now to your dwelling Mighty Angels guardian angels angels of God Mighty in battle are being sent at this very moment to protect to guard to deliver your dwelling because that's what angels are for angels are Divine protectors and they are Surrounding your dwelling to protect your life right now feel peace in your soul feel peace in your heart there are angels of God surrounding your dwelling protecting your life in the name of Jesus no evil shall befall you nor shall any plague come near your dwelling your family the lives of

your children the life of your husband the life of your wife your work your friends your colleagues your classmates no harm will come to you Because God is protecting you amen say Amen comment below amen verse 11 tells us why because he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways this verse 11 is so beautiful God is saying that the angels of the Lord will guard Us in all our ways do you know what this means when you go to the bakery the angels are guarding you when you go to

the bank to the lottery there angels are guarding You when you go to the mall the angels are guarding you when you go to church the angels are guarding you that's why the text says that he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways verse 11 so all your ways are guarded by God Rest trust be at peace now there is a caveat Jesus said You shall not put the Lord your God to the Test of course if you see a deserted Street you're not going to tell test God and

say God is guarding me so I'll pass through here recklessly imprudently and God will protect me God guards us when we are in accordance with his will right Don't Stray From The Lord's will Don't Stray From them father's will stand firm in the will of Jesus and be prudent there are many people who may say since God is guarding me I'll accelerate the car to over 100 km Hour and God will protect me right negative God will protect us but we also have to be prudent we have to be vigilant God protects but we have

are you hearing news of crime in a particular area avoid going through through there because God provides greater Protection we need to be prudent that being said let's move on to the next verse verse 11 for he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways verse 12 says they will bear you up in their hands lest you strike your foot against a stone God is saying here that the angels will provide protection for us in the smallest details yes we have Divine protection when Human Resources run out God's resources arrive

if there is no human alternative then God's Alternatives come into play understand this if there are no other possibilities and you have to pass through that place then God will guard you but if there is a possibility for you to be vigilant and make a better choice than we cannot Test the Lord our God however God is giving us the assurance that he will guard us even in the Smallest details when Now text says that the angels will guard you so that you do not strike your foot against a stone it means that God will

protect you in every aspect of life amen next verse verse 13 says you will Tread On The Lion and the adder the Young Lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot this text helps us understand what Jesus said in Luke 10 when he sent Out the 70 disciples on a mission the story is narrated in Luke 10 Jesus gave them power and authority he said behold I give you the authority to trample on serpent end scorpions and over all the power of the enemy Satan the forces of evil in verse 13 of Psalm 91 The

Lion and the venomous serpent are being described and God is saying that we will tread upon the lion and the serpent we will trample them Underfoot but the serpent will be under the feet of the son or the son of the lion God is saying that we will tread upon the lion and the serpent why is the enemy depicted in the Bible as a lion even Peter says Satan walks about like a roaring lion seeking who whom he may devour the word Satan is a Greek word and means serpent in the Garden of Eden the

enemy presented himself to Eve in the form of a Serpent so Satan is the false lion because the true lion is Jesus the lion of the tribe of Judah but God is saying that he will grant us Spiritual Authority to trample upon the works of evil this means that God is say saying I am giving you authority to overcome the forces of evil treading upon the forces of evil represents that you will tread upon the lion the serpent you will put your feet upon The Offspring of the lion the serpent verse 13 is stating that

God Will give us Spiritual Authority to crush tread upon overthrow and undo the forces of evil verse 14 says because he has set his love upon me therefore will I deliver him I will set him on high because he has known my name this verse is God speaking to us saying what because he has set his love upon me meaning because we have loved God because we love the Lord for this reason because of this love we have for God God is saying that because of this love he Will also Deliver Us set us on

high because we know his name the these are the Privileges of loving God of having a friendship relationship with the Creator when we are friends with God we have in him our refuge our strength our spiritual protection 24/7 verse 15 says he shall call upon me and I will answer him I will be with him in trouble I will deliver him and honor him God is guaranteeing to us in verse 15 that when we call upon his name he will answer us he will be with us in times of trouble he will deliver us and

he will honor us God is giving us the assurance that in moments of Anguish we will not be alone even though moments of Anguish may seem dark even though they may seem lonely devastating God is there guarding our lives and what about that story we all know about the footprints in the sand a man walking on the sand saw the scenes of his life in the sky And as he walked on the sand he saw two sets of footprints his own and Jesus Footprints depicting the most beautiful moments of his life and suddenly as the

scenes changed and the saddest moments of his life began to appear only two Footprints were seen in the sand then the man said to God in the moments when I needed you the most Lord you left me alone then God says no those Footprints in the Sand are not yours They are mine so he asks and where are my footprints then God says those Footprints are mine yours didn't appear because at that moment I was carrying you in my arms meaning that in times of distress God is carrying Us in his arms that's why Jesus

said who needs a doctor the saint or the sick so Jesus came for the sick if you are tired and burdened God can Relieve you and receive relief for your distress relief for your soul and peace in your spirit in the name of Jesus at this moment and verse 16 concludes Psalm 91 saying with long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation when the text says with long life will I satisfy him God is giving us the promise that we will have a long life that we will have an abundance of days

long life to those who love the Lord long life to Those who trust in God long life to those who have God as their Refuge to those who have God as their friend long life to those who seek the face of God and God says more I will give you long life abundance of days and I won't stop there I will give even more I will give my salvation to those who love me says the Lord these are the blessings the blessings of Psalm 91 are 16 verses and here we have read verse by Verse

grants me my needs Whatever I require he will supply he is your Shepherd and you will lack nothing absolutely nothing he will supply your needs so you shall not lack anything he makes me lie down in Green Pastures the phrase he makes me lie down means that he makes you rest he gives you rest for your heart in Green Pastures means that this faithful Shepherd carries Us in his arms and places Us in Lush pastures he makes us lie down he makes Us rest in a green and prosperous Place Green Pastures symbolize Prosperity he makes

you like down in prosperity he makes you happy in the arms of this faithful shepherd He leads me beside Quiet Waters this is the care of this shepherd He gently guides me to calm Waters it is the Lord who guides you directing your steps to make the right decisions in life don't worry because the one who Takes care of you is the faithful Shepherd the Good Shepherd who leads you to calm Waters Quiet Waters are a place of refreshment a place of Tranquility this shows God's special care for us the Apostle Peter said cast all

your anxiety on him because he cares for you the one who cares for you created the heavens and the Earth the Sea and the stars and he takes care of you in every Detail and he restores my soul the 23rd psalm revives my my soul this represents inner healing our soul is where all our feelings reside all the emotions of our life are within our soul if you feel sadness it comes from the soul if you feel anguish it comes from the soul if you feel Joy it comes from the soul in other words all

the positive and Negative emotions come from our soul and the 3r Psalm tells us that he restores our soul to restore means to bring relief to your soul if you who are listening to me have a troubled soul a sad soul a weary Soul the Good Shepherd is coming to meet you at this moment refreshing your soul bringing peace to your spirit bringing peace to your life believe that he will restore your soul the 23 third Psalm also says he Guides me along the right paths this represents God's complete guidance for those of you who

are feeling lost unsure of which path to take in life whether to travel or stay questioning if a relationship is from God or not or contemplating whether you should remain in your current Church perhaps you have doubts in your heart and feel without God's guidance let me minister to your heart and tell you this he will guide you along the paths of Righteousness this is a promise from Psalm 23 he guides me along the right paths in other words the Lord will lead your steps towards what is just and right so that you can make

the right decisions so Let the Good Shepherd guide you The Shepherd of Psalm 23 The text continues for his name's sake he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake means the purpose of Our Lives is to glorify the name of the Lord for his name's sake means I will do things in your life for the sake of my name I will bless your financial life your relationships your family and your health for the sake of my name says the Lord it is for the sake of this precious and Powerful name that

he will guide you that's what the psalmist is saying for the love of this beautiful and wonderful name for the love of God's name he will guide you along the paths of Righteousness the 23rd psalm further States even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death what does this Valley of the shadow of death that David refers to represent it represents trials struggles and adversity that fight where you thought I will die in this test I will perish in this trial have you ever faced a similar situation where you thought you would

that we will not perish or die because the one who is our shepher is the way the truth and the life he is the path that directs your steps that illuminates your spirit he is the life that rescues you from death if you are going through a trial Make your prayer request because we will pray for you this was the confidence of the psalmist even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for you are with me for you are with me represents God's faithfulness to us when

the psalmist David said in Psalm 23 even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for you are with me it signifies God's faithfulness To us even when going through the valley of the shadow of death God is with you in Matthew 28 Jesus said behold I Am With You Always even to the end of the age from Monday to Sunday God is with you to deliver you protect you guard you restore you and bless you this confidence of the psalmist made him believe that even if he

walked through the valleys of Shadows and death he would not Fear the one who is with you is greater than the valleys greater than the struggles because the Lord is your Shepherd the expression for you are with me also refers to the shepherd staff and Rod with the staff the shepherd corrects and with the rod the shepherd pulls the Sheep In other words whenever we the Sheep of Christ are walking in the wrong path he will use the rod to correct us and bring us back to the path of Victory The path of Peace that's

why the psalmist it says that your rod and your staff they Comfort Me In other words they comfort me because they correct me they correct me because they love me those of you who are mothers know very well those of you who are fathers know very well when you correct your child you correct them because you love them and the psalmist is saying Your Rod and your staff they comfort me the staff Was used for correction and protection so as a sheep in the position of a sheep he is declaring to God that this protection

of life this protection of God brings Comfort to his soul in Psalm 23 it says in the presence of my enemies which represents the honor and exaltation of God in your life when the psalmist says you prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies it's God telling you that he will honor you not just in the presence Of your friends but in the presence of of your enemies this is not Vengeance this is divine Justice because there is a difference between Vengeance and Justice vengeance is when you take matters into your own

hands but Justice is when the hand of God acts in your favor your enemies those who mock you despise you humiliate you those who look at you with disdain those who look down On you or up at you those who scorn you these are the people who will sit at the table and witness the honor of God in your life so that the name of God may be glorified that's why the psalmist says you prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies God will honor you exalt you and prosper you and those

who mocked will have to applaud those who slandered will have to glorify and spread the good news news That God honored your life and gave you Victory and the psalm goes even further stating that anointing my head with oil represents consecration one day your mind where thoughts reside will be filled with thoughts of Faith thoughts of conviction you will understand perfectly and clearly that God is guiding your life and that he is your faithful Shepherd guiding your steps anointing my head with oil Represents the Lord consecrating your life declaring that you are anointed by God

you are anointed my Lord and the psalm continues my cup overflows which represents God's prosperity in your life God is saying I will not only fill your cup but I will cause it to overflow imagine when you pour water into a cup it fills up but if you leave the T cap running it will overflow there will be water inside and Water on the outside and when you hold a cup that's overflowing you can feel what's on the inside and what's on the outside here God is saying that he will overflow your cup in other

words you will receive abundance both internally and externally you will have prosperity in your life God doesn't want to cely fill your cup he wants it to Overflow he wants to bless you abundantly not just for your own benefit but also to bless others just like a cup overflowing with water you will experience an overflow of God's blessings pouring into your life from within and spilling over to touch the lives of those around you God's Prosperity will be evident in every aspect of your life he is saying perceive that when you hold a cup overflowing

you can feel What's inside and what's outside that's what I will do with your cup you will receive overflowing blessings both inwardly and outwardly your cup will not merely be filled it will overflow God wants to bless your life with abundance not only for your own sake but also to bless others he wants to pour out his Blessing blings upon you filling your cup until it Overflows open your heart and receive this promise declare with Faith Lord you are my shepherd overflow in my life fill every area of my life with your prosperity and blessings

God desires to overflow in your home your relationships your finances your health and every aspect of your life Embrace this promise and experience the Overflowing goodness of God in your life there will be abundance not only in your home but also to help your fellow human beings your table will be filled with plenty not just for yourself but also for your friends and those in need your wardrobe will be abundant providing for both yourself and those who require assistance God will will overflow abundantly pouring out blessings it signifies that you will Have so much more

Blessing on Thursday there's a blessing on Friday there's a blessing from God on Saturday there's a blessing from God on Sunday every day of your life mercy and goodness will be with you guiding you protecting you and blessing you this represents daily provision in your life the psalm 23 concludes by saying and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever it represents the promise of Eternity the text tells you that you will be in God's house forever you will find comfort in this Good Shepherd Who Watches Over You guides you and ensures that

you I am everything you need me to be if you need healing I am your Healing if you need Deliverance I am your deliverance if you need protection I am your protection the psalmist is saying May the name of the god of Jacob protect you know that this powerful name protects your home and your family it is absolute 24-hour protection from God in your life you have a God who is a protector a God who never Sleeps God is awake watching over your life 24/7 verse 2 of Psalm 20 tells us even more may he

send you help from his sanctuary and give you support from Zion in this verse we can see the blessing of God guarding and protecting us the psalmist declares that help will come from God's Sanctuary from Zion the divine Divine promise for our lives is that the Lord will provide help and provision and will sustain us from Zion God is your sustainer and your helper always present in times of Affliction and distress verse three also adds may he remember all your offerings in regard with favor your burnt sacrifices this verse quickly refers to your work routine

yes soon you will give God a different time through platforms and applications it declares remember all your offerings and accept your burnt Sacrifices this means that every offering you give to God is remembered no offering is in vain when I talk about offerings I mean offerings in all aspects of Life there is the offering of time when you dedicate your time to protect help and counsel someone there is the offering of money when you assist the needy or support a project or work being done to God who remembers all our Offerings and accepts our sacrifices

our fasts our prayers No sacrifice is in vain no offering is in vain and God certainly rewards those who do his work this verse verse three clearly shows us that may he remember all your offerings and accept your burnt sacrifices in verse 4 it says may he grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans the psalmist declares that God will grant according to your heart's Desire there are other verses in the Bible that say delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart there are different types of

Victories that can come into to our lives there is the victory that we need the victory that we deserve and the victory that we desire the victory that we need is the one that God gives us every day providing Deliverance food on the table Clothes in the wardrobe and sustenance that's why the psalmist said I have been young and now am old yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread in other words God will always Grant you the blessing and victory that you need there is also the victory that

we deserve the victory that comes to US based on our merits and sometimes even when we don't deserve it God still grants us Victory why because that's called God's mercy and divine grace and finally there is the victory that we desire I invite you to comment below and share what your heart desires make your prayer requests because we will also pray for them many people believe that God doesn't Grant the desires of our hearts but that is a big misconception God does Grant the desires Of our hearts as long as those desires don't harm or

merciful god is this verse 4 speaks to this may he grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans that's why we need to have a mindset of Faith what is a mindset of faith it's believing that the impossible will happen believing in the Supernatural believing that you are born to overcome believing that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you that is a mindset of faith and that's why verse 4 of Psalm 20 says may he grant you your heart's desire fulfill all your plans I ask you my friend what are

your petitions before the Lord What have you been asking God for in prayer perhaps even tearfully verse 5 tells us even more we will rejoice in your salvation and in the name of our God we will set up our banners may the Lord fulfill all your petitions this verse is beautiful and important in our lives it says we will rejoice in your salvation we need to EXP experience the joy of being Saved I believe that is the greatest conviction of a Christian the joy of salvation but it's not just the joy of Salvation the Lord

wants to give you more the second part of verse 5 says may the Lord fulfill all your petitions my friend what are your petitions before the Lord what have you been asking God In Prayer Maybe even with tears this verse 5 shows us that the Lord is willing to satisfy your request No matter how impossible it may seem to you that's why it is important for us to ask God the psalmist shows us this in Psalm 20 and Jesus himself also tells us in Matthew 7 ask and it will be given to you seek and

you will find knock and it will be open to you for everyone who asks receives and the one who seeks finds and to the one who knocks it will be Opened know that your request before God is not in vain have this conviction in your soul verse 6 of Psalm 20 tells us chapter 20 and now the Lord saves his anointed one he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand look at this beautiful and marvelous verse my brothers and sisters this verse 6 of Psalm 20 is so

beautiful let me read it Again look at how beautiful it is now I know that the Lord saves his anointed he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand first God Saves his anointed who is Anointed by God you are anointed by God you who are listening to me are anointed of the father you are anointed of the Lord the Lord has anointed you with Spiritual oil in those times the anointing was oil prepared by the priest to consecrate objects and also people once a person was consecrated they

became am anointed of God and you who are listening to me are consecrated by the father you are consecrated by the Lord the Lord has anointed you with spiritual oil and verse 6 tells us now I know that The Lord saves his Anointed God Saves Those whom he consecrates and you are saved by this consecration by this divine grace in your life verse 6 also tells us he will answer him from his holy Heaven it means that even though God is in heaven in his glorious Heaven he will hear you from heaven from the heavens

he listens to you and with the saving strength of his Right hand because the right hand is the strong hand right my right arm I will save you and who is the right hand of God it is Jesus the saving strength the saving power of the right hand is Jesus Jesus is ready to save you ready to lift you up ready to restore you and at this very moment the Lord restores your strength restores your energy restores your joy restores your happiness in the Lord verse 7 tells us some trust in chariots and some in

horses but we will remember the name of the Lord Our God this verse 7 is also another beautiful verse the psalmist David is saying some trust in chariots and horses which represent human strength and Earthly resources but we will remember the name of the Lord Our God some trust in chariots and others in horses in those times when an army went To war they they went with shields with swords they trusted their chariots they trusted their horses they trusted their weapons and here the psalmist is using a language of War he is saying that some

trust in chariots and others in horses in the battles of life in the wars of Life many people trust in their intelligence in their abilities in their attributes in their tools but the psalmist is saying some trust in Chariots and others in horses but we will remember the name of the Lord Our God in other words it's like saying my trust is not in chariots or horses my trust is not in the sword or The Shield or The Spear my trust is in God who made the heavens and the earth trust in the Lord and

not in man Trust trust in God trust in God do not trust in human weapons do not trust in human attributes because only God is Salvation and that's why in verse 8 the psalmist says they have bowed down and Fallen but we have risen and stand upright Oh Glory to God this verse this Psalm 20 is so beautiful right all the PSAL Psalms are beautiful but this Psalm 20 and this verse 8 are marvelous the verse 8 says let me read it again they have bowed down and Fallen there are many people bowing down and

Falling when they created the statue to be worshiped the Bible says that Miss ha Shadrach mesach and Abednego did not bow down before the statue The Book of Daniel tells us this story it actually shows that those who bow down to the world those who bow down to sin they are actually falling that's why the text says in verse 8 Psalm 20 stand firm and do not bow before sin the system or the World do not bow before the corruption of this world the adulteries or the lies that's why many people are bowing to sin

and falling but we We rise and stand upright the world may bow down but the church stands triumphantly in the presence of God and you stand in the presence of the Lord remain standing in the strength of the holy spirit in verse 9 it concludes with save Us Lord hear us when we call here the psalmist makes a declaration and a request to God save us Lord as if to say come to our Aid bring relief to our souls Deliver Us from this difficult time so that we may remain standing in your presence we are

calling upon the king Psalm 20 is a beautiful Psalm that shows the psalmist's trust in God it shows that many trust in chariots And horses in the power and strength but we trust in God we trust in the Lord and it is he who enables us to stand in his presence I invite you to join me in praying the prayer of Psalm 20 share your prayer requests in the comments below what you desire from God as Psalm 20 says the Lord is interested in granting you the desires of your heart let us take hold of

so whatever your heart desires know that God is interested in fulfilling it God is a loving father who Cares for us us understands us and like any loving father desires to see the happiness of his child thus God wants your happiness too in verse 5 it says commit your way to the Lord trust in him and he will act this verse reminds me of Jesus words in Matthew 6:33 where he said but seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you what are these things that Jesus

was Referring to they include a home work family marriage Prosperity all these things will be added to you when you seek the kingdom of God and fully surrender your life to the Lord I promise you when you place all your paths in God's hands he will work the supernatural Miracle of blessings and prosperity in your life that's what the psalm is all about that's what verse 5 is conveying May these verses touch your Heart deeply igniting a passionate trust in God's promises Delight in him commit your way to him and experience the Wonders he has

in store for you God's love and blessings will overflow bringing joy and fulfillment to your life it is speaking from chapter 37 of the book of Psalms and it says commit your way to the Lord trust in him and he will act in verse 6 it says he will make your Righteousness shine like the dawn the justice of your cause like the Noonday Sunday in verse 7 it continues be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him do not fret when people succeed in their ways when they carry out their wicked SK sches in

verse 7 the psalmist advises us not to become indignant or envious of those who Prosper on their path we mustn't believe that the grass is greener on the other side that Someone else's life is better than ours what we often witness today is people constantly comparing themselves to others but don't compare yourself to anyone else you are unique and except IAL don't compare your beauty your blessings or your possessions to others that's what verse 7 is telling us rest in the Lord wait for him and don't be indignant because others are Prospering on their path

sometimes people feel upset because their sister or brother got married while they haven't or their neighbor bought a car while they haven't I once received a message from a sister who said my neighbor managed to renovate her house and I haven't I'm so sad I told her my sister rest in the Lord don't be indignant I precisely conveyed what Verse 7 is saying don't feel upset because someone is prospering ahead of you on the contrary rejoice in your brother's Victory one day you will be able to renovate your house fulfill your dreams we don't need

to be saddened by others Prosperity while we wait know that God has the perfect timing and at the right time blessings will come into your life prospering and blessing you Immensely so don't despair don't be saddened by those who Prosper on their path that's what the psalm is all about in verse 7 it says rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him do not be indignant because of those who prosper in their ways because of the person who carries out wicked schemes in verse 8 it continues refrain from anger and turn from wrath do

not fret it leads only to evil the Bible tells us that we should Not repay evil with evil but instead overcome evil with good when we respond to evil with kindness we resemble God and become true children of God in verse 9 it says for evildoers will be cut off but those who wait for the Lord will inherit the land so wait upon the Lord for you will inherit the land you will prosper and flourish in the place of your shame God will give you double Honor in the place of your downfall the Lord will

lift you up with power and honor your life therefore rest in the Lord and wait for him for he will do even more in your life this is what the word says in Psalm 37 verse 9 for evildoers will be cut off but those who wait for the Lord will inherit the land verse 10 goes on to say a little while and the wicked will be no more but You look for them they will not be found but the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity in these verses 10 and 11 we

see that the meek will inherit the land they will abound in peace and prosperity however in verse 12 it says the wicked plot against the righteous and Nash their teeth at them that's how the wicked Act they are filled with anger towards those who are in the presence of God those who Walk in Integrity never compromise your life with God verse 13 tells us the Lord laughs at the wicked for he knows their day is coming God is not moved by the wicked for he sees that their day of judgment is approaching the wicked have

drawn their swords and bent their bows to bring down the poor and needy to slay those who walk in Righteousness but their swords will pierce their own hearts and their bows will be broken those who prepare a pit for you will fall into the same pit they have dug against your life know that you are protected by God in verse 16 it says better the little that the righteous have than the wealth of many Wicked look at how powerful this verse is it is better to have little and be Righteous than to possess the wealth

of many Wicked what good is it for a person to have great riches but lose their soul what good is it to have wealth but lack Peace of Mind however even with little in hand know my brothers and sisters that little becomes much with God God can multiply what seems insignificant verse 17 declares for the arms of the wicked will be broken but The Lord upholds the righteous the Lord knows the days of the righteous and their inheritance will endure forever in verse 19 it says in times of disaster they will not Wither in days

of famine they will enjoy plenty look at this beautiful promise my brothers and sisters God is speaking to us in this verse he is saying that in times of trouble You will not be ashamed the Lord will honor you and your inheritance will remain forever in times of Crisis and Calamity you will prosper the world may be in turmoil but we are in Christ Jesus with God even in times of scarcity we will be abundantly satisfied verse 20 continues but the Wicked Will per perish though the Lord's enemies are like the flowers of the Field

they will be consumed they will go up in smoke look at how weighty this is God is saying that the Wicked Will perish who are the wicked they are those who do not serve the Lord those who do not believe in God those who blaspheme and ridicule his name they are those who are distant from God the verse says that the Wicked Will perish and the enemies of the Lord will vanish like Smoke showing compassion and borrowing without repaying is the act of the wicked and it's not my words but the Bible Psalm 37:21 in

verse 22 it says for those blessed by the Lord will inherit the land but those cursed by him will be destroyed here we can see The Blessing of Abraham for God had said to Abraham that those who bless him will be blessed and those who curse him will be cursed this means that God is The Shield Of Abraham and he is also your protective shield in verse 23 it says the Lord makes firm the steps of the one who Delights in him let me tell you something important about this verse it says that the steps

of a good person are established by the Lord what does this mean it means that when you are in the presence of God when you make decisions in his presence he confirms your Steps if you start a business honestly and believe that God will prosper it he will prosper it because the steps of a good person are confirmed by the Lord as Psalm 1 also says whatever the righteous person does will prosper there is a blessing of prosperity in the life of a good person whether it be a man or a woman God has blessings

in store for those who are good so be good to others be good to Yourself because the steps of a good person will be confirmed by the Lord verse 24 goes even further and says though they stumble they will not fall for the Lord upholds them with his hand look at this powerful verse it shows that even if this man or woman who is righteous in the presence of God stumbles they will not be cast down because the Lord holds them with his hand if you fall God will lift you up With his mighty power

the righteous may fall seven times but God will raise them up eight times the Lord will not allow you to remain prostrate he will lift you up with his power in verse 25 the psalmist declares I was young and now I am old yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread this means that there is prosperity in the lives of those who Seek the Lord in verse 26 it says they are always generous and lend freely their children will be a blessing God is saying that your life will be blessed

and so will the lives of your children and your children's children this is God's promise for our lives do not lose heart in verse 27 it says turn from Evil and do good then you will dwell in the land Forever verse 28 reminds us that the lord loves Justice and will not forsake his faithful ones they are preserved forever but The Offspring of the wicked will be cut off off the righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever the mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom and their tongue talks of what is just let's

take this moment to pray and seek God's Guidance Amen in verse 31 it says the law of their God is in their hearts their feet do not slip verse 32 acknowledges that the wicked plot against the righteous and seek to kill them but in verse 33 it assures us that the Lord will not leave them in their hands God will provide Deliverance for us God will provide Deliverance for you he will not leave you in the hands of The wicked that's what verse 32 and verse 33 are saying the Lord will not abandon you or

condemn you when you are judged verse 3 4 encourages us to wait upon the Lord to trust in him and to keep his ways he will exalt us to inherit the land and we will witness the removal of the wicked verse 35 describes how the wicked may appear to prosper with great power Like a green tree in its Homeland but their time will pass and they will be no more I searched but they could not be found verse 37 urges us to observe the blameless and consider the upright for their future is one of Peace

on the other hand transgressors will be destroyed and the relics of the Wicked Will vanish to conclude verse 39 and 40 Remind us that the salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord he is their stronghold in times of trouble for they trust in him Psalm 37 reveals that God is for the righteous and against the wicked it assures us that the righteous the meek will inherit the land and prosper in it meanwhile those who practice iniquity will face Annihilation by God this Psalm is a guarantee that the Righteous will experience a season of prosperity

he is rising from his throne to Grant you Victory God is rising from his throne to Provide for you in this situation that you have brought before him in prayer lift up your spirit have good courage and look up because your help comes from God your help comes from the Lord it does not come from men your help comes from God it does not come from Earthly things your help comes from heaven from Jesus God has heard your prayer he has seen your tears and your suffering I know that last year was a Year of

disappointments tears anguish and trials but the Lord says to you I will change your story I will mend what is broken I will restore what is damaged I will lift you up in this world and I will honor your faith just persevere and persist for your help comes from the Lord who made the heavens and the Earth he is intervening in your life With provision and in the third verse the psalmist says even more he will not let your foot slip He Who Watches Over you will not Slumber God is your protector Your Guardian he

will not let you stumble he is always watchful never sleeping he is constantly by your side ensuring your safety and well-being verse three is a divine revelation for our lives God is telling us through the psalmist That he will not let our foot slip in other words God will guard our paths he will direct our lives in all things because he is the owner of Our Lives your life is in the hands of the Creator and nothing and no one can take away God's promise from your life nothing and no one can take away the

blessing of the Lord from your family your story your home or your life because God is with you and verse three goes even Further saying he who keeps you will not Slumber it means that the one who watches over you does not sleep the one who guards your life is awake 24 hours a day it is often said that the enemy does not sleep constantly scheming against our lives against our families but on the other other hand Our God does not sleep either every time the enemy knocks on your door it is God himself who

answers and the enemy flees in all directions Protecting you no matter how big the attacks or counterattacks of our adversary may be our God is a mighty Shield before us he is a shield that blocks all evil and God does not sleep he is always awake the prophet Isaiah said that since ancient times no one has heard or seen a god like ours who works for those who wait for him God is working in your favor he is working in the hidden places In secret and he will reward you openly the one who guards you

is faithful and verse 4 says behold he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep feel the weight of these words in your heart let the Assurance of God's constant presence and protection wash over you you are not alone in this journey you are not left defenseless against the schemes of the enemy God the faithful Guardian is Always by your side day and night in moments of weariness or fear remember that God is wide awake watching over over you in times of uncertainty or doubt hold on to the promise that he will not let your

foot slip trust in his unwavering faithfulness and know that he is actively working on your behalf even in the Unseen realm rest in the assurance that you are guarded by the Almighty his love and protection surround you he is your Shield your Defender and your guide so take heart for the one who watches over you never Slumbers embrace the peace that comes from knowing that you are held in The Loving Hands of the guardian of Israel verse 5 the Lord is the one who guards you the Lord is your Shadow your right hand just like

a shadow follows us wherever we go so is God notice that on a sunny day as you walk your shadow is always there with you wherever you go your Shadow is there if you move to the left your shadow moves to the left if you move to the right your shadow moves to the right if you go backward or forward your Shadow follows every step every inch Your Shadow is constantly with you and that is why in verse 5 the text tells us that the Lord Lord is the one Who guards you the Lord is

your Shadow your right hand just as your Shadow walks with you wherever you go God is also with you every day on Monday God is with you on Tuesday God is with you on Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday and Sunday God is with you in spring autumn summer and winter God is with you whether it rains or The Sun Shines God is with you he is there to protect you to save you to give you Victory to sustain you and to Strengthen you he is there to lift you up if you fall he is there to

bring light into your life to provide Direction and to shower His blessings upon you God is with you every single day until the end of time let the weight of these words sink deep into your soul You are not alone in this journey you are never without the presence of God just as your Shadow Faithfully Accompanies you God's presence is constantly with you feel his comforting Embrace his unwavering protection and his loving guidance surrounding you in times of loneliness or un un certainty remember that God is your faithful Shadow your everpresent companion he walks beside

you never leaving your side you can find Solace and strength in his presence he is your source of Hope peace And reassurance no matter what challenges you face or what obstacles come your way take comfort in knowing that the Lord is guarding you he is your Shadow your constant support trust in his unfailing love and let his presence illuminate your path with God by your side you can face any situation with courage and confidence so embrace the truth that the Lord is your guardian your faithful Shadow allow his presence to fill your days to guide

your steps and to bring you peace walk in the assurance that you are never alone for God's Abiding Love is with you always now and forever more verse six the psalmist further declares the sun shall not strike you by day nor the Moon by night this means that during the day God will guard you and during the night God will guard you in every moment at every Hour the Lord is there protecting your life safeguarding your soul and watching over your spirit verse 7 the Lord will protect you from all evil he will guard your

soul notice that in this verse the psalmist doesn't say that God will protect you from some evils no the psalmist says that God will protect you from all evil every form of evil God will guard You he will guard your life your family your health and your finances God will guard every aspect of your being because we serve a God who cares about us in every area of Our Lives God cares about your finances God cares about your emotions God cares about your spiritual life above all God cares about your salvation God cares about your

health you are a daughter and a son of God and he cares deeply for you in every detail just like a mother who cares for her child she knows when the child is sad she knows when the child needs nourishment for all the mothers listening to me right now you know very well that A Mother's Love is Sublime it is special and the prophet Isaiah says the following even if a nursing mother were to forget her child the Lord will never forget you you you are in the hands of God and he never forgets you

there are moments in our lives that we all have experienced moments when we thought that God was not listening to our prayers have you ever felt that way have you ever felt as if God wasn't hearing your prayer have you ever felt distant from God have you ever felt like your prayer didn't reach heaven as if it hit the ceiling of your house and stayed there leaving you abandoned and Forgotten I am here to tell you that in all those moments when you thought that God was not listening when you felt distant from him when

you thought your prayer didn't reach heaven God was still there even in the silence even in the moments of Doubt God is with you his love and his presence never waver he hears your every prayer he sees your every tear and he holds you close cl to his heart trust in his faithfulness even when circumstances Seem overwhelming God's love for you is unchanging and his care for every aspect of your life is unwavering you are never alone even in the darkest of times God is there watching over you protecting you and guiding you hold on

to the assurance that his presence is constant and his low God says I have not forgotten you so says the Lord I have never forgotten about you because I love you declares the Lord Jesus I love you and that is why I gave my life for you on the cross of Calvary my blood was shed on the cross for you and I do not forget about you even in difficult times though it may seem like I am distant says the Lord in reality I am close to you I am carrying you in my arms sustaining

you because what doesn't kill you makes you Stronger what doesn't kill you makes you more mature God is equipping your life for a great work it's like the story of the footprints in the sand when that person walked on the sand he saw scenes from his life and Jesus walked with him he saw for four sets of footprints two belonging to him and two belonging to Jesus but as he began to witness the Sadest and most difficult scenes of his life he noticed only two sets of footprints in the sand so he questioned Jesus saying

Lord in the toughest moments of my life did you leave me alone did you forget me Jesus replied to the man saying those two two sets of footprints are not yours they are mine in the toughest moments of your life I carried you in my Arms I carried you in my arms during the most difficult times so my sister and my brother in those difficult moments when you think that God is distant in reality he is very close to you carrying you in his arms sustaining you and saying look up because your help comes from

above I lift up my eyes to the hills where does my help come from my help comes from the Lord the maker of heaven and Earth your help comes from God my sister your help comes from the Lord he is with you sustaining you he is with you assisting you he is with you strengthening you God is Not delaying he is perfecting your Victory your Victory will be great your Victory will be powerful because your testimony of the victory that God will deliver to you will be magnificent you will continue walking in The presence of

the Lord and the Triumph that awaits you will be a testament to his goodness remember in the midst of Trials and challenges God has not forgotten about you he he loves you unconditionally and his arms are always open ready to carry you through every storm trust in his faithfulness lean on his strength and let his love sustain you you are not alone God is with you and he will lead You to victory keep walking in his presence for he is faithful and his promises will never fail verse 7 further declares the Lord will protect you

from all evil he will guard your soul our soul is the seat of emotions where all sadness and joy reside every good or bad emotion is contained within our soul and God is making a promise to us in Psalm 121 that He will safeguard our soul God cares about your feelings he is a loving father who cares about your heart and what you experience he will reward you and every tear that has fallen from your eyes will be transformed into Victory every disappointment you have faced in life will become a powerful testimony of Triumph God

will protect your soul and in verse 8 the psalmist Concludes the psalm by saying the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forever more the Lord will guard your entrances and exits both now and for eternity when you travel know that God will watch over your departure and your arrival whenever you embark on a journey whenever you venture to a distant Place read Psalm 121 because it is the psalm of divine protection just like Psalm 91 in verse 8 God makes a promise that He will guard our comings and goings when

you set out God will guard your entrance and when you return God will guard your departure God will protect you God will watch over your steps so whenever you embark on a trip read Psalm 121 whenever you leave your home declare God guard my entrance and guard my departure the Lord will watch over my coming and going both now and forever More these are the blessing ings of Psalm 121 in our lives this Psalm is truly beautiful just like all the other Psalms but this one clearly shows us that our help comes from God this

Psalm clearly shows us that God is the one who guards us a loving father who protects us this Psalm definitively reveals that he is a God who guards our lives in every Detail he guards our entrances and exits from now and forever amen amen in this moment I want to offer a special prayer based on Psalm 121 I want to pray for you for your life for your story I want to pray for your health your finances your family your relationships your ministry close your eyes and pray with me let us pray our Our Father

who art in Heaven Hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us lead us not into temptation but Deliver Us from Evil for thine is the kingdom the power and the glory forever I lift my eyes to the mountains where does my help come from my help Comes from the Lord the maker of heaven and Earth he will not let your foot slip He Who Watches Over you
